We just got some crazy official news
about the Avengers Doomsday trailer,
plus some major leaks about the story of
the movie. Let's talk about it all. And
we got to start off with the fact that
yes, the first trailer for Avengers
Doomsday has been officially listed on
Korea's media rating board, which if you
don't know what this means, pretty much
whenever a movie or a trailer comes out,
people have to watch it, give it a
rating, like it's appropriate for
audiences watching PG movies, PG-13 or
R. And when Korea officially rates their
movies, they publicly post it on this
rating board website. And shout out to
one of my viewers actually Sungman Lee
who is from Korea. He emailed me about
this first. Now there's a few
interesting things on this rating board
website though because first of all,
yes, you can see that the running time
is 1 minute and 25 seconds. So, as we
all thought, this is going to be more of
a teaser than a full-on trailer because
yes, the movie is still a full year
away. And honestly, I kind of prefer
shorter trailers anyways. Like, show me
the first look at Doom. Give me a little
bit of a vibe of what the movie is going
to be like. I don't need to see anything
else. I don't need to see any preview of
like the fight scenes or any of that. I
want to go in as blind as possible. Now,
what else is interesting on this listing
is that under the cast here, you can see
that it lists Robert Downey Jr.
Obviously, we knew he was going to be in
it. The leaks a couple weeks ago said
that we were going to get our first look
at Doom, the mask, the costume, all that
stuff. But it also says that Pedro
Pascal is listed as the cast. Now, it
doesn't say anybody else here. Now, if
this is just a teaser, it is likely that
it's probably going to focus mostly on
Doom himself. But it definitely seems
like the highlight is going to be Doom
versus Reed, which is great that
presumably in the very first trailer for
this movie, the two main focuses are
going to be Doom and Reed because
obviously Dr. Doom is a Fantastic 4
villain first and foremost. I know a lot
of people were kind of worried about him
being in an Avengers movie. They're
like, "Hey, are they going to maybe shy
away from him and Reed's dynamic and
just focus on him being a more general
villain?" But it definitely seems like
their conflict is going to be a huge
focus in this story or at least the
first trailer. I've mentioned this part
before, but just to recap, it seems like
the two most likely days that this
trailer could release are on Thursday of
this week because insider Daniel RPK
says there's going to be a Disney
trailer on that date. We just don't know
if it's Doomsday or not. But if you go
look at the history of when Marvel
movies got their ratings from the Korea
rating board, it normally is about 2
days ahead of when the trailer releases
to the public. So, Thursday would
definitely line up with that. And if
it's not on Thursday, I think it's very
likely that it will be out on Tuesday or
Wednesday of next week because we know
it's going to be attached to Avatar Fire
and Ash that comes out next Friday. I
think they're going to want to get it
online so people can talk about it and
not have like cam rips of it from
theaters. Now, let's transition into
some new leaks about the story of the
movie as always. Take these with a grain
of salt, but the Cosmic Circus is pretty
reliable in the past and their things
seem to be pretty spot-on. And in this
first one, they say that most of the
cameos in the upcoming Avengers films
will actually play a major part in the
story and that they will show the
effects of the incursions that are
happening in the MCU in their own
universes. So like the Fox characters
for example, we're going to see their
universe literally like being torn apart
or maybe like different things happening
in there that aren't supposed to be
happening. The same thing is probably
true for like Tobey Magcguire Spider-Man
and like he's leaked to be in the movie
and likely we're going to see his main
universe. Maybe he's living life with
Mary Jane or something and something
happens because of an incursion and he's
like, "Okay, yeah, I got to join the
fight with these other Avengers from
different universes." Which I am glad.
This is kind of what I was theorizing
from the beginning that they're actually
giving them an important reason to be in
the story. It's not just cameos for
cameo sake. Like even Deadpool and
Wolverine, they all had a good reason to
be there. Characters like Gambit and
Blade and stuff. Then the interesting
part is he says they will later be
called upon by a higher authority to
join the fight. Now obviously one theory
could be that this is Dr. doom himself
that he's like maybe manipulating the
people like they look up to him and are
trusting him. He's like, "Hey guys, I
need you for this battle or something."
And then he ends up tricking them to all
fighting each other. This could also be
someone bigger like the Beyonder or
something, but I really don't know if
that movie is going to do that. Or
possibly maybe Loki is like the person
that reaches across the multiverse and
tells all these people like, "Hey, we
all need to team up and fight together
against Doom." It's really just going to
be crazy to truly see all these
different characters from all the
different Marvel movie universes team up
for the very first time in this movie.
Like I still can't believe this is
happening in like a little over a year
from now. Now, a few days ago, Daniel
RPK says that Avengers Doomsday will
reportedly act as a direct sequel to
Avengers Endgame. And he actually said
this right before they announced that
they're re-releasing Avengers Endgame in
theaters a few months before Doomsday
releases. And this also kind of lines up
with what we're now hearing from the
Cosmic Circus, but we've heard this from
other insiders and leakers a couple
months ago saying that apparently Dr.
Doom is going to be going after Steve
Rogers in Avengers Doomsday. One theory
is that Steve Rogers kind of doing
everything with the time stone and all
the other Infinity Stones, putting them
back in their place kind of started
causing these incursions, which timeline
wise wouldn't exactly line up. But it
definitely seems like if Marvel is
taking this route of making Doomsday a
direct sequel to Endgame, they're kind
of like, "Okay, we accept that the
Multiverse Saga was a mess. We're kind
of just going to jump over a lot of
that." Which I honestly can't blame them
for doing. Not even just because the
Multiversal Saga wasn't that great. also
because they spent a couple years of the
multiverse saga building up Kang as the
main villain, which obviously ended up
leading to nothing now that they've
replaced him with Dr. Doom. So, they
kind of don't really have a choice.
Like, there wasn't any buildup anyways.
Might as well just make this directly
tied into the events of Endgame with
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and
Victor von Doom and having Steve Rogers
play a huge role in this film. Maybe we
see Pedro being the one that figures out
what Doom's doing and how he's trying to
track down Steve Rogers or something and
that's how he gets intertwined into the
story. And I mean intertwined farther
than him having his son obviously
because we do know Dr. Doom does have
Franklin Richards captive. Now he also
says that Yolena will reportedly be in a
precarious situation in Avengers
Doomsday that will force Bob to bring
out Sentry, which I'm honestly very
happy. It seems like yes, he is going to
unleash Sentry in this movie. We all
knew that this is one of the most
powerful characters in the Marvel
universe right now. And if they want a
chance at beating Doom, he's going to
have to be able to learn to control the
actual Sentry powers and not let the
void take over. But I made a theory
video like months ago where I was
talking about the fact that I think Dr.
Doom is going to manipulate Sentry into
joining his side and we're going to get
some of the bigger villains in the MCU
kind of working with Dr. Doom. So, it's
not just like Doom versus every single
Marvel hero that's ever existed.
Honestly, this could be a brilliant move
from Doom. like he goes and puts Yolena
in some dangerous situation, takes her
hostage or something too, just like he
did with Franklin Richards. He knows
that's going to bring out the void side
of Sentry and then he's like, "Oh yeah,
now that you're in the void mode, Sentry
is easily manipulated and starts working
with Doom." Honestly, there have to be a
little bit more nuance that goes into
that. But I feel like the general idea I
could definitely see happening. And
honestly, we're going to need a lot of
stuff like this, like Doom playing mind
games and stuff with the Thunderbolts
because obviously their powers besides
Sentry are incredibly weak compared to
pretty much every other hero we're going
to see in this movie with the main
Avengers and the X-Men and everything,
but I still want them to be heavily
involved in the story. So hopefully
Marvel is cooking behind the scenes
there. Now, another one that seems
obvious on the surface until you
actually think about it for a second is
that the Cosmic Circus is also saying
that Spider-Man Brand New Day and Vision
Quest will reportedly start setting up
Avengers Secret Wars, not Doomsday. Now,
both of these projects are coming out
before Doomsday, but Paul Bettney as
Vision and Tom Holland as Spider-Man
have still not been confirmed to be in
the next Avengers movie. And I mean,
this definitely makes it sound like
neither of these characters are going to
be in Doomsday. They're both being saved
for Secret Wars, which just makes me
wonder, how do they set this up now? I
feel like they're not just going to have
Dr. Doom appear in the postredit scene
for Spider-Man brand new day or anything
like that or Vision Quest. I feel like
we're going to see something else. Maybe
we see the incursion start happening to
the main MCU timeline here, just like we
saw at the end of Doctor Strange in the
Multiverse of Madness with Clea showing
up. I don't know. It's going to be
curious to see though, how do you set up
these two characters with something
that's big and teases Avengers: Secret
Wars, but that doesn't involve them in
the events of Doomsday. Let me know your
theories in the comments below. And make
sure to drop a like on the video before
the next topic, which is shifting away
from any leaks and going over to this
new viewership report from Disney Plus,
which is talking about the fact that the
Fantastic 4 First Steps has had the
worst Disney Plus debut of any MCU
title, and it earned 4.9 million views.
For comparison, you can see the numbers.
Captain America: Brave New World and
Ant-Man and the Was Quantum Mania had
over 6 million views. Thunderbolts and
the Marvels had over 5 million views.
But the key thing to remember here is
that the Fantastic 4 First Steps made
more money at the box office than any of
those other films. It sounds bad on its
own, like people aren't interested in
this movie. But again, its numbers
aren't that much lower and more people
saw it in the theaters. So, it makes
sense that once it came out on Disney
Plus, not that many people were rushing
out to watch it cuz more people had
already seen the film compared to like
Brave New World and Thunderbolts that
both brought in like under $450 million.
People were just waiting for Disney Plus
for that one. still do think there's
probably some concern for Marvel at the
fact that even though the Fantastic 4
first steps made more than all these
movies listed, it still didn't cross
$600 million at the box office. And
these numbers on Disney Plus don't show
that the general audience is that
invested in these characters. And
obviously, it does seem like Reed is
going to be a heavy part of the next
Avengers movies. So, I guess they're
just going to have to win over the
audience in that next Avengers film.
Now, make sure to drop a like on the
video and subscribe. We got the
Supergirl and Doomsday trailer coming
out in the next week. I'm going to be
covering all of that. Tons of theories,
