Welcome everyone. Today I have a very
exciting guide about the perfect essence
farming and also the rates behind it. So
looking behind me, we have some very
nice estimated rates for the success
rate of essence farming. And this is
actually coming from the Chinese content
creators who has done some very
interesting samples and also
calculation. In this video, I'll be
trans translating those related
information as regards to when is the
best time to be using your coolant and
what are some of the graphs that can
show us more efficiency using the
coolins and also comparing how much
essence it will cost to fully upgrade a
flawless essence to 663.
If you look at my essence following the
method, I'm currently on 653 and it is
quite useful and also successful. We'll
also be looking what are the opportunity
cost and what are the ways of getting
those essence to high levels together
with the cost of the fivestar essence.
We'll be looking into a very important
2570 rule which means that you can spend
25% of the sanity to gain 70% of the
power gain which I explain on the second
half of the video. And following from
this, finally, we'll look into how long
would a free-to-play player take to
fully upgrade the essence from 111 to
663 to the maximum level, which for now
it is around 11.4 days. So coming over
to the first part of the guide and if
you do guys do want this particular
Excel and also the written notes, this
will be available in the links below.
Firstly, a big thank you and also
credits to the Chinese content creator
Biohazard over here who has done the
calculations and everything related. And
if you guys are good with probabilities
and using the statistics formulas to
estimate it, this is how he can conclude
to this particular summary using the
waitings and also success rate. So we'll
be just directly jumping into the final
results. So as you guys know there are
three types of upgrades for the perfect
essence or flawless essence. There's
primary stat, secondary stat and then
finally the skill effect. For the
primary stat there are five categories
of success rate tags as you upgrade
those. It starts with very high then
high then low and there are two very low
tags with different chance of success.
In summary, you start with 60% success
rate then 24% 10 5 and 2.6. 7. Please
keep in mind those are also close
estimations, but they are quite close to
what we're expecting as well. And
similarly, the secondary stat has
similar success rate from 60% to 2.7%.
Finally, for the special skill effect,
which are the twilight and also other
things you see over here, this
particular effect, the first success
rate is close to 11% followed by about
4% success rate for the skill effect on
the final upgrade. So this is fine going
level two to level three with 4.2%
success rate. The number of coolant
required to upgrade those flawless
essence is also over here which I'll
come over to my game and show you guys.
Probably easier to see this way. So if I
come over here you can see for level
five this will cost 450 coolant. So the
content creators have listed this done
and this is also available in any of the
wikis as regards to the flawless essence
and this goes from 30 to 45. Now what is
important is we'll be looking at the
expected amount of essence needed to
upgrade from level one to level two
which is 1.67 the level two to level
three which is about 4 9 20 and 37.
Those are important numbers which will
come back later. In terms of the
coolant, the quick summary of of when is
the best timing to be using the coolant
coming from the coolant efficiency
calculation is that the lower the number
is, the better it is to use a coolant.
And from the calculations over here, we
can see that using the coolant on the
level five upgrade from level five to
level six. So this is the stage I'm
currently. So I have level five to level
six and using a coolant with 450 coolant
is statistically the best result for the
highest value of coolant usage and this
is quite important if you're on the main
MX. So the lower the number is it is the
better. So this is how I have gotten my
previous level five to level six. I'm
about to save up enough coolant for the
second level five to level six. So to
summarize, you should be using coolant
from for the primary and also secondary
stats from level five to level six,
which will cost you 450 coolant by the
statistic efficiency. And we might be
thinking, hey, what about the skill
level? Do I want to go for level two to
level three and using the coolant? And a
lot of us were actually doing this,
which cost 300 coolant. But by the
calculation, this is actually a slightly
less efficient choice. You should be
just using the essence purely upgrading
with a 4.2% chance of success. And if
you fail a lot on this, the cooling can
then be used in the level five to level
six. So this is not the preferable
choice to be using the coolant. And that
summarized the first part of the
probabilities as I translated those
information as you can see over here.
And you can see how this is also
highlighted. The two preferable upgrades
are level five to level six. And it is
not recommended by stats to go for the
level two to level three upgrade which
cost you 300 coolant. Now there are some
very important understandings on the
second half. So let's go through this as
well. The first question is how much
would you save for using the coolant and
also without using the coolant. Firstly
what do I mean by saving? It's because
as you do essence upgrade you'll be
spending essence and those essence as I
move my head around you can see this is
a very low chance. And if I come over to
the Excel, you'll be able to see that
the very low chance over here is
actually the 2.7% chance, which there's
no way I can get lucky that easily
unless I spend like 30 of those the
flawless essence which are level five.
And it's quite hard to get those because
you cost you 80 sanity to get three of
those fing materials. So even if you
have the I guess the availability to
farm them, you still need a lot of
sanity. So, what we're really talking
about over here is the ability to save
up your sanity. Well, in both in games
and also in real life. So, if you're
using coolant, you're saving about 43%
sanity. And here's a summary. About 43%
of your fivestar essence upgrade
materials will be saved if you're using
the coolant correctly. And vice versa,
if you're upgrading everything without
the cool, you are spending about
177 fivestar essence to successfully
upgrade a 663.
So currently my one is where is my one
is 653. So I'm almost there. With the
coolant, you're looking at 102 fivestar
essence. So dramatically, you're saving
a lot for using the coolant. and we talk
about statistically what is the best
point of using a coolant that there's a
little more to this. So as we keep going
the Chinese content creator have said
you know statistically you can be
looking into those cooling upgrades and
we talk about this on the first part.
Now it is important to understand that
this efficiency usage is assuming that
you want the 663 success and get the the
flawless essence to fully upgrade to the
maximum level. But as we keep going, the
increasing nature of the investment in
terms of upgrade and also the cost of
the fivestar flawless essence is making
the sanity efficiency and also power
gain upgrades less efficient. So what
that means is if you look at this
particular graph which I try to explain
at the start as you gain the graph
represents how much power you gain for
spending how much essence at the start
if you go to 211 or 221 31 and then four
42 which is the essence itself when you
upgrade the main stats to this
particular stage. You can see the power
gain is pretty substantial at the start,
but as you get to 552, 55 53 and 663.
Finally, the power gain, this is how
much power gain you're getting, the
percentage of power gain versus how much
material you're using. It is less
disproportional. So, in summary, if
you're trying to get 663, then the
previous method should work. But if you
consider to gain the fastest amount of
power for each of your characters, then
aiming for 442 and so basically level
442 here on the particular flawless
essence and then aiming for 553 may be
the best alternative for the fastest way
of gaining power. Okay, that might be a
little harder to understand that, but
let's have a look at this. The average
cost of upgrading for each stage of the
essence level. So if you get into 331 it
will cost you about 8.2 five star
essence 442 about 24 of those 552 47 and
then 553 will take you about 60. Finally
to get to 663 it jumps by 40 flawless
essence to 101.
So, the Chinese content creator has
recommended this 2570 rule, which is
basically saying that if you aim to get
all your characters flawless essence for
the main team to 442, you would have
unlocked 70% of the stats gain or the
power gain for this character by coming
to the weapon with a flawless essence.
And this only cost you 25% of the
sanity. And the estimated sanity you're
saving is about 2,52 sanity. It cost you
around 200 270.
So 2007 27ish I can't remember exactly.
So to get to the maximum 663 the sanity
that required us to farm the fivestar
flawless essence you know you get three
of the per 80 sanity which is 2,700.
But if you're just going for 442
initially, this will cost you about 6 to
700 essence over spending another 2,5
2,000 essence on top of that. So there
is quite a bit of sanity saving because
of the this particular rule. And for any
team that you're building, let's say if
you got Ivon and you're starting a new
coal team, then you should aim for all
the character first for 442 and then
focus on getting Ivon to you know 553
and 663 for the highest power gain for
each of your characters. The future
investment of sanity provides
diminishing return. This means you're
spending three or four times more sanity
up to, you know, 2,700 sanity for a
minimum and min max gain of 30% more
power. Again, this graph shows it
perfectly. So, we're at the 442 stage.
And if you go to 442 to 663, you can see
we go from 70% to 100%. This is a power
gain and this is amount of usage of your
your sanity and also your fivestar
essence. So in short, if you are trying
to level any character for the greatest
power gain, aim for 442 because this
will be 70% of the flawless essence
gain. There are some additional
combinations you can look for after 442.
This including getting 442 to 443 and
then 553. On the tenatively you can go
from 442 to 552 and then 553. And this
of course shows the incremental amount
of the fivestar assets used for those
particular stage. And this will help you
plan ahead of time. Now you may be
wondering why is this important? Because
for a free-to-play player, if you're
looking into my regeneration of sanity,
the sanity regeneration is about every 7
minute and 10 seconds. And this is
actually very sneakily combined with the
regeneration coming from the daily which
gives you a sanity booster. The
emergency sanity booster is 40 and this
combines into 240 sanity per day. Yes,
they did this pretty sneakily. So every
day you're getting 240 sanity. And from
the calculations if you just try to get
one flood assassins to 663 it will take
you about 11.4 days. If you're a
free-to-play player, that's just
naturally regenerating a sanenity, which
is pretty insane. 11 days for a perfect
flawless essence, which I'm about to
reach my first one, as you saw over here
with a bit of luck. I'll get there soon.
So, 6 53 very soon, which have been
taking me over about 7 to 8 days
already. So, I'm about to get there with
a bit of luck. Now in that sense this is
why it is recommended to aim for 442
first because instead of taking you 11
days and this might take you about 2
days to get there and then you can kind
of balance the spending of your sanity.
It's also good to know to get the best
result for your car character. This is
how you go for it. Now this pretty much
summarize everything we learned from the
Chinese content creator. Keep your eye
out for additional information and also
related method of farming and also you
know upgrading essence. But that covers
everything and before I finish I would
like to refer back to our previous video

a maxing to farm for multiple flawless

try to farm for five or four different
flawless essence on wines by selecting
the right filters. And this is just a
additional bonus I want to share with
you guys because this particular two
combined with this particular two and
selecting the right aluminum location
will give you the highest potential to
get right essence per sanity spit. So
that is quite important. So I thought I
