Hi, I'm Focus and clarity through
your ADHD. So, I have one minute or less
to talk about what are executive
functions. Okay, take your hand, bang it
on your forehead like that. There's a
small organ in your brain right over
here that's called the prefrontal cortex.
cortex.
And inside that organ lie all of the
executive functions that you need in
order to get things done in life.
So it's like a toolbox that you are
given at birth that will help you to
get actions done. If you have ADHD,
bad news, some or all of those tools may
not be fully formed.
Good news is it really does not matter
because as long as you take
responsibility for yourself and you
learn the skills and tools to help
yourself, you can live a just as
successful or if not more successful

started. It's been about a minute. If
you want to find out what executive
function was responsible for my
forgetting to turn the timer on, stay
tuned for more executive function tip
