0:02 Hi. So, a few years ago, I made a video
0:04 called seven passive income ideas for
0:06 shy introverts. And apparently, this
0:08 video has been doing some serious heavy
0:11 lifting up around this channel. Bless
0:14 her. Thank you. And if you came into my
0:16 cozy little world from that video, I
0:18 appreciate you so very much. But, I
0:21 wanted to create an updated video since
0:23 things are always changing around here,
0:24 around the internet, around the world.
0:26 Everything's changing all of the
0:28 freaking time. And so, we are due for an
0:29 update. You might want to call this one
0:33 the 2026 sequel. Without further ado-do,
0:36 here are seven quiet, no face required
0:38 ways to actually make money online this
0:41 year. Like real examples, real numbers,
0:44 no bro energy. I pinky promise because
0:46 that is not what I'm about. Cozy vibes
0:48 only. Let's dive in.
0:50 Quick little disclaimer. When I say
0:53 quiet, that does not mean lazy. None of
0:56 these ideas are quick let's make you
1:00 $10,000 overnight stat. No. That very
1:02 rarely happens. And if that happens to
1:04 you, it's like winning a lottery. It is
1:07 that unusual. These are real, legitimate
1:10 business ideas, strategies that still
1:12 work in 2026 and beyond. I don't know
1:14 when you're watching this. You may be
1:16 from the future, which is pretty cool.
1:18 They take time to build. You have to
1:20 build an audience in order to monetize
1:22 as well. But, all of these things have
1:24 one thing in common. None of them
1:26 require you to put your face, even
1:28 though it's a cute little face, on the
1:30 internet. Unless you want to or perform
1:32 with an energy that you certainly do not
1:33 have or pretend that you're someone
1:35 you're not, like Amy Porterfield or
1:37 Jenna Kutcher, all of these Marie
1:39 Forleos. Like, I don't know. We're past
1:41 that now. Be Just be you. Okay, now
1:42 let's dive in.
1:46 The first one is blog ad revenue. Yes,
1:48 blogs are still very much alive. The
1:51 blogging is dead people have been wrong
1:53 for 10 years and they're still going
1:54 strong, but they're wrong. Although, I
1:57 do admire their persistence. I may have
1:59 also uttered the phrase blogging is
2:01 dead, but what I mean is blogging in the
2:04 old way of blogging, of doing things, is
2:06 dead. Things have shifted, things have
2:09 changed, and I think that the written
2:10 content format, oh my god, I might go on
2:12 a little bit of a rant. Will you allow
2:14 this? Okay, I hope so. Will be making a
2:15 comeback. Like with all of the
2:17 information, with all of the AI tools,
2:19 with all of the things that we are
2:21 presented with these days, I really do
2:23 think that the written format is making
2:25 a comeback. Just look at Substack and
2:27 how popular that platform is. I think
2:29 we're going to see the same rise with
2:30 blogging. Like people are going to go
2:32 back to blogging. So definitely don't
2:34 sleep on blogging. Just start writing
2:36 things in your own voice. Share your own
2:38 opinions, your own story. Get really
2:40 consistent with it so that you can build
2:43 up your page views. Because once you hit
2:46 about 50,000 sessions per month, you can
2:48 apply to an ad network like Mediavine,
2:51 AdThrive, Raptive, and they basically
2:52 pay you for every visitor, and they take
2:55 care of all of the payments, the coding,
2:57 the ads on your site. You don't even
2:58 have to lift a finger. Now, this might
3:02 not be a huge area of business. I mean,
3:04 just for me personally, I make about
3:08 $500 per month from my ads. So, it's not
3:10 big numbers, but again, if you diversify
3:12 your income, this income is a sweet
3:15 little bonus, and $500 is not nothing.
3:16 And I am in this blogger group, and
3:18 there's a girl in there who has a
3:20 cooking, like a tiny baking blog. It's
3:22 not tiny, it's pretty big at this point,
3:26 and she makes $4,000 in revenue from the
3:28 display ads alone, and she never shows
3:30 her face. So, it's still possible. Just
3:33 got to get started. Number two, we have
3:35 digital products on Etsy. I don't know
3:37 what it is, I feel like Etsy gets
3:39 overlooked a lot when it comes to making
3:41 money online, and it shouldn't, because
3:43 it's basically a search engine that
3:45 already has buyers in it. Like they're
3:48 baked in. They come to this platform to
3:50 purchase. They're already in the mindset
3:51 of I'm going to spend money, and I'm
3:53 looking for this And if you have created
3:54 that thing, you're going to make the
3:56 money. So, let's say that you make a
3:58 digital product. Could be a planner,
3:59 could be a printable, could be a
4:01 template, a Notion dashboard. Whatever
4:04 your jam is, you price it at anywhere
4:06 from $5 to $30, and it sells while
4:08 you're sleeping. And there's no shipping
4:11 involved when it's digital, baby.
4:13 I have bought loads of things on Etsy. I
4:15 bought budget templates, Notion
4:17 dashboards, website templates for my
4:20 WordPress blog. I've also bought like
4:23 Canva social media templates for my
4:25 courses, and then I just update it with
4:27 my brand colors. If you are into
4:29 creating templates, this could be a gold
4:31 mine for you. Again, you do not need to
4:33 have a big audience to do this. You just
4:35 need to optimize your digital products
4:37 for search on Etsy. Number three, we
4:39 have affiliate income. More
4:42 specifically, Amazon affiliate income.
4:43 Hello, my name is Mia, and I have a
4:46 deeply unserious crush on Amazon
4:48 affiliates. So, here's how it works. You
4:50 sign up for Amazon affiliates. You get a
4:52 special link, and when someone buys
4:54 something from Amazon through that link.
4:56 And this could be anything, not just
4:58 what you recommend. Could be a book,
5:01 could be a camera, art, fun gadgets,
5:03 like things they sell on Amazon. You get
5:04 a small commission. I know that the
5:06 percentage isn't huge, but it's
5:09 something. And if you promote, let's say
5:12 cameras or like high-ticket products,
5:15 that income can add up. The trick here
5:17 is to really pair it with content that
5:19 people are already searching for and
5:21 that relates to the niche that you're
5:23 in. But you could also set up like an
5:25 Amazon storefront or a recommendations
5:28 page on your website, include affiliate
5:31 links in your link in bio, or in your
5:33 content description if you're on
5:35 YouTube, or if you're podcasting, and
5:37 you can create review articles as well
5:40 to send traffic to your Amazon affiliate
5:42 world. This is my reminder to check in
5:45 with my Amazon affiliate program because
5:46 I'm going to be frank, I'm going to be
5:49 completely honest. I have slept on this.
5:51 I have not promoted Amazon links for the
5:53 longest time. So, I need to get I need
5:54 to get back on that. Thanks for
5:56 reminding me, me.
5:58 Uh, number four, faceless YouTube
6:00 channels. I feel like this is the
6:01 biggest one that has pretty much
6:04 exploded since I last recorded this
6:07 video on this topic, I mean. And you can
6:08 have a YouTube channel, you can be
6:10 monetized, you can create content that
6:13 you love without ever showing your face.
6:15 There's so many like cozy especially
6:16 cozy. I don't know if this is just the
6:18 type of content that shows up on my
6:20 algorithm. Like cozy content creators
6:22 who narrate their day, but they don't
6:24 show their face. They're very private,
6:25 but the visuals are so beautiful and
6:28 they do it in such a cozy way that just
6:30 I can't stop watching. They're it's
6:32 great. It's super interesting. You could
6:34 do screen recordings. You can do
6:37 animations, voice narration over stock
6:40 video or your own b-roll. So, some niche
6:42 ideas for you could be meditation, cozy
6:45 lifestyle, history, mystery. Oh, that
6:48 rhymed. Productivity, tech reviews, like
6:51 really all the niches out there work in
6:53 a faceless format. You just got to find
6:55 your way of doing it. Number five, we
6:58 have email newsletter sponsorships. This
6:59 is also a new one that I haven't really
7:01 mentioned before. Start your email list.
7:03 If you haven't started your email list
7:05 yet, I do have a free guide below. So,
7:07 grab it. Once your email newsletter has
7:09 reached about would say anywhere from
7:13 2,000 to 10,000 engaged subscribers,
7:16 brands will pay you to mention them in
7:18 your newsletter. The thing here is you
7:20 need to have an engaged subscriber base.
7:22 They can't just be vanity metrics. You
7:24 have to have an open rate, a
7:26 click-through rate that's relatively
7:29 high. So, sponsorships in a 5,000 person
7:32 engaged list often pay way better than
7:35 in a 50,000 person dead list. Does that
7:37 make sense? Number six, online courses.
7:39 This is uh, I do have a course about
7:41 this. And yes, I have a course about
7:42 creating courses. I know there's a whole
7:45 thing about this online, but I stand by
7:47 it. Like my course, Her Passive Income
7:49 Dream, is great. It is value-packed. I
7:51 actually Oh, look at me going on a rant
7:54 again. But I actually was thinking of
7:55 retiring this course because I kind of
7:57 felt embarrassed about having a course
7:59 about course creation. But then as I was
8:01 going through the modules, the lessons,
8:03 the everything that I've included in
8:04 this course, I'm like, "Whoa, this is
8:06 really good. This is actually going to
8:09 help people. This has helped people."
8:12 And so I think creating courses, still
8:13 to this day, well, it's my favorite
8:15 because it literally funds my cozy
8:17 pajama lifestyle. And although I think a
8:20 lot of people come to ChatGPT and Claude
8:21 and they get their information that way,
8:24 but courses are still profitable because
8:26 you don't buy a course from just anyone.
8:28 You buy a course from a brand that you
8:30 trust, that you have seen gotten the
8:31 results that you want for yourself. And
8:33 you so you want to learn their way,
8:35 their step-by-step of getting that
8:37 result. And also I think a huge thing
8:40 with online courses going into the next
8:42 year, I think community is going to be a
8:44 big thing. And this is something that I
8:46 plan on incorporating into my online
8:48 courses because coming together,
8:50 learning from one person, getting the
8:51 results, seeing other people get
8:53 results, you can't put a price on that
8:55 and you certainly cannot put AI on that.
8:57 So basically with an online course, you
8:58 pick a transformation. You pick a
9:00 problem that you want to help solve for
9:02 people. And then you teach it really
9:04 well. I have Dreamer to Creator, I have
9:06 Cozy Business Academy, The Dream Is In
9:09 The List, Dream Plan Do, and I also have
9:10 Her Passive Income Dream now that's
9:12 making a comeback. It's not available
9:14 yet, but it probably will be very soon.
9:16 Keep an eye out. And you do not need to
9:18 show your face. You don't have to sit
9:20 down face the camera to be able to get
9:22 people results and to teach them
9:24 something. You can have a text-based
9:26 course, you can have an audio course.
9:28 There are no rules. No need to show your
9:29 face in this department either. And I
9:31 know we're at number seven, but I really
9:32 want to talk about two different things
9:34 that I already kind of talked about but
9:36 in a different way. So first of all, we
9:38 have sponsorships, and I don't mean
9:40 sponsorships in email newsletters. I
9:42 mean sponsorships as in you create
9:45 content for a brand without showing your
9:47 face, but still showing your story, your
9:50 personality in a written format or an
9:52 audio format. So, that's definitely
9:54 still possible, even if you don't want
9:56 to show your face. And another thing is
9:59 affiliate marketing in general. So, not
10:01 just Amazon Associates, but reaching out
10:03 to brands and doing a little bit of an
10:05 audit of the tools and software that you
10:07 use in your business and in your life in
10:09 general, and see if they have an
10:11 affiliate program. So, my income is
10:14 about 40% affiliate income because I
10:17 promote Bluehost mainly, and I promote
10:19 Flowdesk, and I promote What else do I
10:21 promote? Basically, all of the tools
10:23 that I use in my business, Showit, for
10:26 example. So, that's 40% of my income. I
10:28 don't promote it actively. I have the
10:30 links up on my recommendations page. I
10:32 sometimes do mention it in courses and
10:36 in my content, below my content, in blog
10:37 posts, things like that, but the links
10:39 are just out there doing their thing. I
10:40 don't have to show my face. I don't have
10:42 to create videos. So, just think about
10:43 products that you would recommend
10:45 anyway. You might as well get paid for
10:47 it while you're watching Friends or
10:49 Grey's Anatomy or that new show, Big
10:51 Little Lies. I love it. So good. If you
10:53 have watched all the way to the end, and
10:55 now you're sitting there going, "Okay,
10:56 this is great. Where do I even start?
10:58 Which one's for me?" Here's my honest
11:00 answer, and this is really honest. I
11:01 think you should start with the one that
11:04 right now sounds like least amount of
11:06 work. Seriously, start where the barrier
11:10 to entry is so low. For example, ad
11:12 revenue, affiliate marketing. Start
11:14 somewhere, start making some money
11:16 online to see what's actually possible.
11:18 Because once you make your first few
11:21 dollars or cents online, everything is
11:23 possible. If you can make a few cents,
11:24 you can make a few dollars, and if you
11:25 can make a few dollars, you can make a
11:27 few thousand dollars, and if you can
11:28 make a few thousand dollars, you can
11:30 certainly make a few hundred thousand
11:32 dollars. It's all happening, but start
11:34 somewhere. And then you can move along
11:37 to creating a digital product or a
11:39 mid-ticket course. But the most
11:40 important thing that you have to do is
11:42 to put yourself out there. It's to build
11:43 your community because without your
11:45 community, you will have no money, and
11:47 you will have no cozy pajama lifestyle
11:49 because people before profits. That's
11:51 the only caveat to all of this. Making
11:54 money online is not a get-rich-quick
11:55 scheme. Even if you don't want to show
11:57 your face, you still have to have that
11:59 community there. So, this is why I'm so
12:02 passionate about building a personal
12:04 brand. Yes, even though you don't want
12:06 to show your face, build a brand that
12:09 stands out. Maybe this means including
12:11 your voice or writing really good
12:13 Substack articles. Oh, that's another
12:15 That's another one. Okay, we got eight
12:17 ideas. Start a Substack. Charge for your
12:19 words. Also, big favorite. I also want
12:21 to start a Substack. So many dreams.
12:23 Build your audience, build a community,
12:25 and of course, if you feel comfortable
12:27 showing your face, it's going to be
12:30 easier. It's going to go faster because
12:32 showing up with your face and all that
12:35 jazz, it sparks trust, likeness, and a
12:37 connection with your community. But
12:38 don't worry, it's still possible to do
12:40 that without showing your face. But you
12:41 got to start somewhere. So, start with
12:43 one of these ideas, and I will see you
12:45 in the next one. By the way, I created a
12:47 brand new masterclass for you which
12:49 takes you through the steps of going
12:51 from daydreamer to full-time creator.
12:53 It's linked in the description below.
