1:31 yuri gala it was a tyrannosaur it was a

1:35 that american accent on he wasn't

2:16 and he said that he could bend spoons
2:19 with his mind and you have proven you
2:23 did prove eve and he tried to sue you
2:25 several times and he lost every time
2:26 that he tried to uh sue you for
2:28 defamation uh that you you've proved how

4:15 it's so simple to do while he's saying
4:17 he can do it all
4:19 in his mind
4:21 why has it been so important to you to
4:22 really make part of your life's work uh
4:25 to disprove people that are that are
4:27 lying because they're doing a lot of
4:29 harm to people out there people who tend
4:32 to believe these things and believe in
4:33 paranormal and psychic powers
4:35 supernatural powers and it takes a lot
4:38 of money from people
4:40 specifically and it also destroys their
4:42 self-confidence and i i think
4:44 particularly the faith healers out there
4:46 uh on television they're always striking
4:48 on the forehead and making it better but
4:50 not one of those ends up being a healing
4:52 that's the the terrible thing about it
4:55 there's this um you know renowned
4:57 brazilian faith healer john of god who's
4:59 touring australia at the moment and
5:00 people claim to have been cured of
5:02 cancers and all sorts of illnesses oh
5:03 yes uh what what's going on there i mean
5:05 just our desire to believe well the
5:07 james randy educational foundation that
5:09 i head up as you might have guessed uh
5:11 offers a one million dollars that's
5:13 american dollars now uh prized to any of
5:16 the psychics any of the sanctuary
5:18 governor or john of god anyone who can
5:20 prove what they say is really true now
5:23 john a god has one favorite trick by the
5:25 way i have an illustration of it here

5:35 now this can be done in carnivals it's
5:38 called

5:49 is the pineal gland in here and one
5:52 prominent doctor in the united states
5:53 said oh it probably affects the pineal
5:55 gland
5:56 doctor this is a layer of bone you would
5:58 have to punch that thing into the
6:00 fellow's head and absolutely kill him in
6:02 order to do that but this is an old
6:04 carnival stunt anymore
6:07 i would easily demonstrate it for you
6:09 except that at 86 uh i've got to be very
6:12 careful about pineal gland
6:15 i never bring it out in public if you
6:16 puncture a penis
6:22 you're out here doing this tour with

6:26 what do people get out of that show what
6:27 they get out of it is uh i hope a sense
6:30 of beginning to be critical critical
6:32 thinking is the secret of the whole
