I'm going to show you how to do product
research how to find a product to sell
on Amazon and best off it's only going
to take five minutes I'm going to put a
timer on the screen and this is a quick
and easy way that you'll be able to find
a profitable product to sell on Amazon
so let's start the timer and get right
into it and the first step is to go to
amazon.com because Amazon actually shows
you what are the most profitable
products to sell and you can find out
how much any product on Amazon is making
so let's go to the best sellers tab
right here and let's scroll around and
let's click on one of these products
this is the fifth bestselling product in
Beauty and personal care so let's click
on this product and let's see how much
money this is making and this is a
rosemary mint scalp and hair
strengthening oil but using a tool
called helium 10 which is a free tool
that you can download you can click on
x-ray and you can see how much any
product on Amazon is making now this is
a free tool but to unlock all the
features you will need to pay for it and
we can see that this product is making
1.3 million per month and by the way I
do have the hookup with helium 10 there
is a coupon code and a discount Link in
the description so now we know that this
product is making $1.3 million per month
we know that we can find profitable
products very easy but we don't want to
sell this product we want to find our
own profitable products so another thing
that a lot of people don't realize is
Amazon also tells you what is the most
popular searched items and to find out
what is the most searched items all you
have to do is start typing so if I put
the letter A here for instance it tells
me that airpods is the most likely
autocomplete it's the most likely thing
that people are searching for that
starts with a if I type in B Bluetooth
speaker is the most popular thing that
starts with a B bathing suit for women
baby wipes all that but the real trick
is if you put ba BB BC and if you do
this you'll get Auto completes and we
can see here be Beach Tow beach bag but
this third one is really interesting I I
don't want to sell a beach towel I don't
want to sell a beach bag but berberine
what is burine let's click on that and
let's find out and we can see all these
different berberine products right here
and let's click on one of them let's
click on this one and let's see how much
this berberine product is making this
product is making one $ 1.5 million
every month this is a a pretty simple
product now the problem is we probably
don't want to sell another burine
supplement it seems like there's a lot
of berberine supplements on here however
when there's something that's this
popular sometimes even though we may not
sell a berberine supplement maybe
there's something related to it that we
might want to sell and this is the
secret hack that I use to find
profitable products on Amazon so as I
mentioned there's this tool helium 10
and they have this Chrome extension but
they also have a website where you can
go in and you can do product research
and I'm going to show you how to use
this in just a second and again there is
a link Down Below in the description in

is so powerful this blackbox tool we're
we're going to show you how to do that
in just a second but first let me show
you what I think is the best tool for
finding a products and that's this
magnet keyword research tool and most
people use blackbox almost nobody
understands that you should actually be
using the magnet tool so let me show you
how we can use this what you do here is
you enter a keyword you enter something
that you think people are searching for
in Amazon and we know that people are
searching for berberine in Amazon so I'm
going to copy that and I'm going to
paste that here because we already know
that a lot of people are searching for
berberine in Amazon and we can see that
220,000 people per month are searching
for berberine on Amazon that means
there's a lot of people searching for
bouring and when that many people are
searching for something there's probably
related things where there is
opportunity so what I recommend doing at
this point is going here down below and
clicking on magnet IQ score this is a
score of how good of an opportunity
helium 10 thinks that a product is we're
going to go through these one by one and
Amazon will tell you how how many people
per month are searching for a given
keyword and when you click on it you can
see what is being sold so what we're
going to look for here this is one of
the secrets for making money with Amazon
we're going to look for something with a
high search volume but that when we
search it in Amazon no one's really
selling that product and I bet you we're
going to be able to find a winning
product here and I'm going to go one by
one down this list and see what we can
find and right here I found that over a,
people per month are searching for
berberine tea and when we search for
this in Amazon there's no products that
are berberine tea the only products are
powders capsules and things like that so
what we need to do is we need to make a
product that is berberine but in tea
form and we'll end up being able to make
a lot of money and boom just like that
we found a product now if you are
struggling to find a product to sell on
Amazon there's another tool that you can
use here and that's this black box tool
and before I show you how to use this I
do want to mention that if you are
struggling to find a product to sell on

me show you how to use blackbox and let
me share with you some things when
you're looking for a product to sell on
Amazon that you want to be aware of the
first thing is you're going to want to
find a product to sell on Amazon that
you can charge at least $15 for because
if you're selling your product for less
than $15 it's hard to be profitable
Amazon charges a lot of different fees
there's the Amazon FBA Pick and Pack fee
there's the 15% fee just to sell on
Amazon there's manufacturing cost you
got to pay for the shipping of your
product from overseas into the United
States there's a lot of different fees
and yes you can be profitable if you
charge less than $15 but it's hard you
also probably want to sell a product
that is at most $85 because if you're
selling a product that's more than $85
it's hard to convince people to buy it
as an Impulse buy on Amazon when
someone's buying something that's more
than $85 they want to do research they
want to make sure that they get the
right one The Sweet Spot for finding a
product to sell on Amazon is between $15
and $85 now that being said I I've had
students that have sold products for
less than $15 Troy he sold his tennis
grips for I think around $10 and still
made money and on the other hand Brent
he sold his product seir proo for $99
which is more than $85 and he still made
over a million dollars in sales last
year and if you don't know his story
crazy story he did that while being a
full-time first responder helicopter
pilot and having and raising two
beautiful kids so he didn't have a lot
of time and he was able to do it so you
can do it too and all the rules that I'm
going to be telling you right now you
can break them them like these are what
I recommend but there are people that
break these rules and they still have
success another rule is I try to find
products that weigh less than one pound
because if your product weighs over a
pound you're going to have to pay more
money for the Amazon FBA Pick and Pack
fee and if you don't know what I'm
talking about here the way that Amazon
FBA works is you're able to sell
products on Amazon's website but if you
want your products to be prime eligible
and trust me you want your products to
be prime eligible you need to send your
products in into the Amazon warehouse
and then when you get an order on Amazon
someone sees your product they buy it
Amazon will pick pack and ship the
product out for you that's how it's able
to be prime eligible and the reason you
want your products to be prime eligible
is because if your product's Prime
eligible you're going to get more sales
for your product if your product weighs
over a pound and you are doing FBA or
even if your product weighs over a pound
and you're shipping it yourself shipping
costs are going to be a lot more
expensive so we want a product that
weighs under one pound the other thing
is some categories are better than
others for instance I really recommend
selling in the pet supplies that's a
great category pets are the new kids uh
there's also kitchen and dining and
there's home and kitchen health and
household Grocery and Gourmet and let's
see what else here H I don't want to do
that one and I also want to do Beauty
and baby products and baby products and
pets are great because people will spend
spend a lot of money on their baby on
their pet and right now for Millennials
uh a lot of Millennials they don't have
kids yet but they do have maybe a puppy
or cats and they're willing to spend a
lot of money on their animals uh so this
is some of the criteria that I recommend
you look for and what's really cool
about this tool specifically is when I
click on search it's going to find
products that are already being sold on
Amazon that match our criteria let me
just give you a little taste of what we
can find here there's this product right
here that is making
$280,000 in monthly Revenue let's look
at this product just to get an idea of
these are just collars these are very
basic collars they've got a brand on
them though that's probably made to
roome premium dog collar beautiful these
are the kind of products that you want
to sell this is a premium product it has
a strong brand I'm willing to bet that
they have some kind of a a social media
presence this is exactly the kind of
products that you want to sell and this
black box tool helps to inspire you it
helps to give you ideas of what to sell
I wouldn't copy this exact product
unless you can think of a way to make a
better version so for instance maybe you
could create a branded dog caller that
speaks to a specific demographic or a
specific Niche but this is the quick
version of how to do Amazon FBA product
