The core theme is that "revision," as taught by Neville Goddard, is not about changing a fixed past but about choosing and experiencing an alternative reality in the present moment, thereby shaping your future.

Today on the Tom Karen channel, the past
never happened.
That's why you can rewrite it now. Revision
Revision
rewrites reality.
I am your host Tom Karen
and this is the Tom Karen channel and
studios of be something wonderful where
we help you level up and become the best
version of yourself creators. Good
morning and welcome back to the Tom
Karen channel. We have a powerful video
for you today. It's based on a question
that one of you had and you commented on
the channel and asked this question
about the teachings of Neville Goddit,
the late great spiritual teacher Neville
Goddit. And in his teachings, he talks
about the idea of revision.
The idea of remembering or rewriting
an event that seemed to have happened in
the past to how you would have liked it
to be, how you would like to remember it
right now,
which the idea is that that changes your
present and future and moves you to your
desired future.
And remember, Neville got it talks about
also about imagining your desired
future. So think about this. The the
idea of revision is just an imaginal scene
scene
of an event that appears to have already
happened in the past and remembering it
like you would have liked it to happen
in what your desired reality, your
desired past. Just as he talks about
imagining and assuming your future
outcome, your future reality, in both cases,
cases,
they're mental images. Whether it's a
memory of an event that has appeared to
have happened in the past
or an image of an event that you desire
to happen in the future. They're both
happening or mental images here and now.
In other words, nothing happened in the
past. That mental image is happening or
being created right now. Nothing will
happen in the future. that imagined
future is happening or being created
right now. That's the power of Neville
Goddit's techniques. And I want to
specifically talk about revision because
it's very powerful. And here's the
question that one of you had. I want to
read the specific question. Can revision
physically alter the past?
For example,
if I revise that I got selected in 2023
exam and got into college, then it means
I'm in the third year of my college in 2025.
2025.
How will I jump directly in the third
year of 2025? And how will I cover the
first and second year syllabus?
So, it's possible. I already watch your
revision lecture. If revision changes
the timeline then it means I will be in
my third year in college.
So I want to talk about this a little
confusion here on the idea of revision.
Remember revision doesn't change the
past because the past didn't happen.
The past is being created right now.
That image that you're remembering that
you're revising
you're creating right now. So it's not
about changing anything. That possibility
possibility
of that past that is undesired. Say that
you didn't get into college, you didn't
get accepted. That exists and will
always exist. It's not about changing
any one possibility.
It's about choosing the alternative past
or in other words, the alternative
reality here and now because they all
exist. Whether you're imagining the
future or remembering the past, they're
both mental images right now. It's about
choosing that alternative version of
you, that alternative lifeline or film
roll or script. So, it doesn't change
physically or non-physically or alter anything
anything
any time because timelines are just an idea.
idea.
It's all now.
Physical equals non-physical. There's no
physical past. There's just you, the
physically focused you here and now remembering
remembering
who they were, who they are, and who
they will be right now. And that changes
everything. Do you hear this? The the
one thing that keeps you keeps you from
moving to that is this idea that you
believe there's this physical past
that you're trying to change by
remembering it differently, but there's
no physical past. There's nothing in the
past. It's happening right now. And you
got this physical present that you're
try that you say it hasn't changed in
this future you're trying to get to.
But remember that idea of that script,
that version of you, that version of
events exists and will always exist in
potential. It's not about changing that.
The script is written. A course in
miracles talks about that. In other
words, all possibilities exist. every
um lifeline
or experience in that linear horizontal
experience of a past, present and future
has its own fate or destiny. You don't
change that. Instead, there are infinite
scripts and film roles and timelines and
you choose.
They're all just simply mental images
that exist now.
Whether you're remembering the past or
imagining the future, you're remembering
it all here and now. It's all a memory
because creation's finished. In other
words, all potential realities exist
here and now.
There are infinite scripts and
alternative timelines or frames or
linear arrangements.
How you can linear arrange all those images.
images.
Right now, you get to decide. It's about
remembering who you are. Now,
a course in miracles, there's a couple
ideas that they present. One is that
history wouldn't exist if we didn't keep
repeating the same mistakes in the
present. What's the mistake? By
believing that there's a fixed physical
past that you can't change or that you
want to try to change with revision.
Everything's happening right now. That's
why history wouldn't exist because there
is no history. You're creating it all
now. You're deciding it past, present,
and future.
And the other idea they they present is
this idea that we would we have a
strange use of memory. This is what a
course of miracles says. We have a
strange use, right? We use it to regret
things or to hold on to things or to to
to believe we've got to we want to
change something that seems to have
existed in the past. But what does a
course of miracles says? We would use it
differently. It's a tool to remember.
Now hear it. Like Bashar says, it's a
permission slip. That's all memory is to
remember who you are now. In other
words, you can you can decide who you
are right now. Like Alice in Wonderland
says, I could tell you about what
happened to me in the last 24 hours, but
I was a different person then.
You're a different person in every
moment. It's about remembering who you
are now. It's the miracle of
self-awareness, your God-given gift to
be aware of yourself from infinite
viewpoints and perspectives here and
now. And that changes who you were, who
you will be, and who you are here and
now. That's what revisions about.
It's there is no physical path to change.
change.
It's a choice. It's a decision to
imagine and remember yourself as how you
would like to be right now. And that
This is what a course of miracles says.
Remember, I've often said that when you
are remembering and imagining
yourself as who you would like to be
now, in other words, if it's a p if it
if you if you're remembering something
that you believe is the past, you're
remembering yourself as how you would
have liked to it to be and you're
remembering yourself as you would like
to be in the present to create that
future. You're performing a miracle by
seeing yourself as that ideal version of
you right now changes everything. It's
the miracle of self-awareness.
It's the choice and a decision to
imagine and remember
who you desire to be here and now. And
this is what a course in miracles says
about that miracle. The miracle abolishes
abolishes
the need for lower order concerns.
So in your question, you're talking
about, "Yeah, but I'm a little confused.
What about the first year syllabus and
the second year syllabus and all of this
stuff? How do I jump to a timeline? What
about 2023, 2025?" Those are all lower
order concerns. It's not concerned with
time and space and all of that.
It says it here, the ordinary
considerations of time and space do not apply.
apply.
When you perform a miracle, miracle when
you perform a miracle [laughter] between
words there. Love this. This is it,
guys. We do one and done here. We don't
edit our videos. When you perform a
miracle, it's a decision. It's a choice
here and now. Here's what it says. I
will rearrange both time and space to
adjust to it. That's your Christ
consciousness, your higher self saying,
"I'm going to arrange everything. I'm
going to rearrange all of these frames
to accommodate you." Wow.
That's ultimate revision.
Imagine that's it. I'm going to
rearrange it all.
Those are lower or those those are lower
order concerns. Those are not concerns.
So yeah, it rearranges everything by
your choice here and now. That's powerful.
powerful.
So this is what I want you to do as a
24-hour challenge. Remember yourself as
how you would always have liked to be in
who you would like to be here and now.
Whether you're imagining that desired
future or remembering the past as as you
would have liked it to have been, you're
imagining it right now. It's not in the
past. It's not in the future. It's here
and now. Physical equals non-physical.
Seen equals unseen. It's all you. It's
all now. It's all God. It's you as
reality. You are all the power in
reality there is, was or will ever be
here and now.
