Great movement. Moody is looking
fantastic right now. Good to see just
how good Dean is.
So guys, uh the white monster Declan
Moody here. I want to show you guys some
of the passing that I used effectively
in the European trials. So common
problem whenever we're either jpointing
or split squatting here, the guy's going
to throw in a lasso. Because our hands
on the hip, it's hard for us to stop
this foot from coming inside. So, what I
want to do is I want to block him
stepping flat on my chest. If he steps
here, he can push me away. So, to stop
this, what I'm going to do is I'm going
to blade my body and use my chest to
take his foot across here. Now, I'm
going to take a scoop right by the lower
ankle and block on the top of the shin.
My hand that was on the ribs, it's going
to punch to the mat. As I slide through,
opening up, I get my hip across to the
far side. And I land in this position
with the bicep ride at a hip post. From
here now I can push forward. Clear the
knees. Solidify my pass here.
So we're here. Split squat. The lasso
comes in. Blade
scoop. Fist to the mat. And now I open
my chest.
biggest issue for this pass is this low
leg here. If they have a hook on my hip
here and he throws a lasso, this would
uh be a good indicator to try step off
to the opposite side here. So, I have to
switch up my direction. But if I wanted
to persist with this, when I blade my
body, I'm going to take a back step at
the same time. From here, I can still persist.
