Core Theme
The core theme is a critical examination of "black on black crime," questioning external explanations and proposing that the root cause might be an innate, inherent characteristic of Black people, potentially influenced by evolutionary or environmental factors, rather than solely external forces like slavery or racism.

hello everyone and welcome to zanu
project reink my name is Frank Zano and
I'm in the studio today because um it's
it's come to me to discuss or talk about
something that um I'm confronted with
everywhere I go last year I was in
Germany and um couple of people I met um
ask me the same question even in the
United States black white brown wherever
I go to speak uh I'm confronted with
this question and it's a question on of
uh black onblack
crime why do black people always without
fail whenever we are put together in any
Community neighborhood Corner
country we kill each other that is that
is true it's everywhere and I don't want
anybody to think that this is some kind
of uh accusation no I'm going to talk
about something that is so common
constant and consistent
it is time we talk about it now let me
first disclaim I'm not an anthropologist
I'm not a scientist I'm not a biologist
I'm not a
psychologist so I have no credibility to
say what causes it however for some
Stroke of Luck I have developed this acute
acute
skill being able to CR critically think
especially I like to question the
answers we've been giving and so today
that is what I'm going to do with this
black onblack crme crime let's think
about it try hard to look for a country
a place where black people live
congregate and we are never violent
towards each other name that place on
the continent of Africa the 54 black
countries self-rule black government
black presidents black MPS members of
parliament black
police and we kill each other all the
time time somehow in the streets of many
majority of African countries things
that other people could discuss disagree
and walk away we degenerate into violent
actions against each other wife
beating last year in Kenya it was so bad
that there's an organization now formed
against femicide women being slaughtered
every day husbands and wives fiance
girlfriend in hotel rooms Airbnb guest
houses in their own homes or in the
streets of Nairobi you go to the
Caribbean Haiti Jamaica other places we
kill each other you come to the United
States of America put us in any
community in any City there's black
onblack crime our young ones pull guns
and shoot each other the only difference
in Africa we don't have access to the
guns but we clubber each other with
sticks machetes and knives and balls all
the time an example Rwanda of course
that was black on black C Leon that was
black on black Liberia Sudan Somalia
Nigeria everywhere let's talk about the
relationship between law enforcement and
the citizens of black countries across
the world show me a place where black
Law Enforcement Officers treat their
citizens as if their life matter I'll
tell you a story as we talk right now a
place that was once my home home town
I'm not from Kenya but I lived there for
5 years for the last week and a half
22 young people have been gone down by
police because they were rioting
demonstrating against a finance bill
they don't like the government decided
to tax some important Essentials in
order to raise money to pay debt young
people were not for it and they went to
the streets they've been killed with
live bullets in their own country let's
compare that to the United States of
America during the George Floyd Riot it
lasted more than 3 months Not only was
it just demonstrations in the street
with placards no people actually
destroyed Federal buildings Federal
Monument police stations were burned
down police cars were burned down police
were hurt Stones were thrown at them
water was pour on them and yet not a
single person was killed with a live
bullet majority of the riest in the
streets of Minnesota Seattle they were
black people majority of the police were
white in my whole travels I have come to
see myself as an example I come from the
Republic of Ben I can never raise my
middle finger at a policeman in the
streets when he stops me he will shoot
me dead I'm sure Haiti and Jamaica and
other places it would happen but here in
the United States I have seen people assaulting
assaulting
policemen the level of violence of black
people on each other is something we
need to begin to discuss and examine we
cannot just completely ignore and make
excuses and reach conclusions and
answers that does it make sense that
somebody caused us to become violence
towards each other there is nothing like
that in the world that can be so common
constant and consistent that everywhere
you put black people they're going to
attack each other now let's take a look
at the UK Birmingham peticote and other
places the UK is a gun-free culture but
today as I speak a friend of mine who
lives there calls me every
time the stabbing of each other these
are black immigrants Refugee Asylum
Seekers who have come to the UK but they
live in Council houses or Council
buildings they live in
communities and they are killing each
other over the same thing
African-Americans or black in America
kill each other sneakers chain
girlfriends things that other cultures
would never it's not even something you
want to think about would happen in other
other
cultures so let's begin to ask ourselves
what is the root cause of this I know
many people out there are going to begin
to point fingers and claim something
they know I don't know but I have the
ability to question the conclusions in
the United States they said it's because
of slavery seriously we were not the
only people who were ever slaved there
are over a million Koreans living in
Japan some of them were brought to Japan
they call them the zich forcefully as
comfort women or slaves during the war
and so migrated because of the
war they don't kill each other some will
say because of poverty there are many
parts of the world Indian included
southeast Asia and many other parts of
the world where very very poor people
leave they don't kill each other because
they're poor has never happened
anywhere some would say brainwashing
well if anyone can brainwash you so much
that it works for you to hate your
fellow who looks like you then something
must first be wrong with you before the
brainwashing even
started so who Brainwashed the people in
Africa are you going to say colonization
but many places were colonized including
India South Korea New Zealand Australia
and many more why wouldn't they
brainwashed to kill each other why
always the negative things that happen
to us is because somebody ask us to do
it that cannot be the answer I think
you'll agree with me so recently I began
to read which I don't know much but
somebody introduced it to me epics that
simply says that a physical
environment causes people to either grow
taller grow
bigger and I began to ask myself
is it possible that a physical
environment through Evolution can also
affect people's temperament in terms of
how do we respond to
disagreements can it be peculiar to one
group of
people yes I have decided to do a label
of two things one I call a reasonable
violence and the other unreasonable
violence a reasonable violence let's say
the Japanese in Asia many countries just
hate ja Japanese Filipinos Chinese
Koreans they were brutal they attacked
Everybody Somebody told me once when I
was living in Japan is that the Japanese
feared because of their height that if
they don't become
aggressive they may be crushed that
that's where he came from it's just a
theory I'm not saying it's a fact I
don't know anything about
that now that I call reasonable violence
you ask the Japanese why do you attack
these countries they might say purely
because we are trying to expand
economically or we are trying to expand
and get
power but when Japanese attack Japanese
consistently and constantly that I call
unreasonable violence and that is what
is happening to my
people now if somebody said because of
aarth in South Africa today there is
plenty of information that black South
Africans are attacking white people I'll
call that reasonable violence maybe they
are doing it as a Revenge but no they're
not doing in it in South Africa blacks
are not attacking white people but they
are attacking themselves you go to deran
Johannesburg Soto yes you will see it
every day go to Nigeria there was a
demonstration end SAR SARS is an acronym
for a police division that was formed to
crack down on armed robbery and they
went Rog when people demonstrated
peaceful demonstration in Nigeria by the
time it was ended more than five
Nigerian young people were killed by
their own
policeman in UK recently there was a
huge demonstration by black people
lasted about three or five days not a
single black person was killed by a
white policeman just like we've seen in
America Occupy Wall Street occupy
Minnesota Seattle New York La across
this Country violent monuments were
defaced police cars were burned down not
a single because the police
predominantly were
white if that level of demonstration and
riot had happened in
Haiti you know how many people will be
buried or happened in Nigeria or
happened in Kenya as it's going on right
now as I speak or happened in Ghana or
in Bina in Sone in Liberia let's look at
the Civil Wars that have happened across
the world there was a Civil War in this
country and people live today to tell
the story when they were PS they were
treated like human beings during the
second world war German PS in the hands
of American were treated like human
beings have you ever seen a p ever in
any African war no you don't leave to be a
a
p during the Civil War in
Liberia they forced women to eat their
own embryos I know a woman who
miscarried and when they came upon her
they forc her to eat it black on
black today hundreds of thousands of
liberians living with trauma that was
imposed upon them by their own kind
during the Civil War let's go to Sy
Leone hundreds of thousands of people
working today with no arms cut off they
will ask you do you want a long sleeve
or a short sleeve if you want a short
sleeve they cut you here long sleeve
they cat you here let's go to Rwanda
let's go to Somalia and
Sudan always hati so the question is
what is causing it if a physical
environment can have effect on the
height of people people and the shape of
people my question is could it also have
effect on our temperament can black on
black crime is something
innate now why am I interested in always
questioning the answers I have come to
realize sometimes not sometimes
conclusions are our
most dangerous enemies the conclusions
you make stops you from action
if we continue believing that somebody
is the reason we kill each
other we are never going to find a
solution to this
problem because then we have to do away
with that somebody so the problem will
go away which is
impossible if colonization is the reason
Africans kill each other what are you
going to do about colonization that is
no longer
there if racism is the reason
African-Americans kill each other
racism is no longer there whom are you
going to do away with it leaves us with
only one thing we have to look within
and ask this
question is this thing something in
it I'm forced to want to begin to look
that direction you see the reason it's
good to to question conclusions is this
now when I say you find a solution it's
not always a solution that is going to
make the problem go away no
sometimes when you question
conclusions it could simply mean you
find a new answer let's say we continue
to question this conclusion that
somebody caus black people to hate each
other worldwide
everywhere if it is Inn it at least
knowing the root
cause in itself is a
solution it helps you to begin to know
how to
live to avoid a repeat of the problem so
Solutions are not always something
physical you have to do to make
something go away just merely
understanding the root cause of the phenomena
phenomena
alone sometimes when you question it the
question is so good you may not find the
next answer but that pause which means
you're waiting for when you can disc
itself it's a solution we must begin to
discourage each other from the
conclusions we ar so fast about
everything that happened to black people
now check this we have a saying we all
laugh about it whites can jump it means
blacks can jump but we never say
somebody CA us to do
that genetics makes a certain section of
the Kenyan population the cening of the north
north
G Marathon rounders you can't debate it
so it's not all Kenyans who are good at
Kenya who taught them how to run
marathon no is from within
right South Sudanese are the tallest
people you can find in Africa did
anybody teach them to be tall
no the Zulu women if you remember hter
they have big body
structure genetics right especially uh
the be behind is Big did somebody teach
them no but it's okay for you to feel
okay to accept that these are
nature but when it comes to other things
like why do we hate each other so much
that we kill each
other we don't want to accept that is nature
nature
why if nature can affect your physical
body it can also affect your
temperament it is not something you
should be ashamed of because you didn't create
create
it the three major emotions in us we
didn't create it one is anger happiness
and maybe I don't know the third one you
didn't create it if it is anger and you
have plenty of it you would use it you
didn't create
it if your environment forces you to
taller we must begin to think of that
also as to our
temperament I have traveled quite wide
and far and I am yet to see any place on
Mother Earth a country a community a
neighborhood that is predominantly black
and they treat each
other as though black lives matter not a
place and I invite anybody who says I'm
wrong go on zanu project.com and tell me
you want to prove me wrong let me repeat
not in the Caribbean not on the
mothership not in the communities in UK
or in the United States have I seen a
place occupied by black people and the
government the law enforcement and the
people treat each other as though they
are life matter there is no single place
like that on
Earth it is the only thing I have known
without an
exception the only time I felt
respected by law enforcement Personnel
who is different from my color is when I
started going abroad into non-black
countries I have lived in South Korea I
have lived in Japan in China Bulgaria
I've lived in European
countries but I was born and raised in
Africa first and so I can
compare the United States of America is
the only
place where I feel I'm not in danger
each time a white law enforcement either
pulls me over or or encounter me for any
reason if I comply with him I know he
will treat me like a human being in my
country you don't have to be wrong in
fact when you're right is when the law
enforcement is angry say he stops you
for your particulars papers and you seem
to have everything your insurance
driver's license everything is in your
order now he's pissed
off he thinks you're showing off you
have to give me a reason to give me a bribe
bribe
in our own countries is there any
African out there who prove me
wrong we got to begin to question the
answers been given that black on black
is caused by somebody I will tell you
something even if that were possible you
have to ask
yourself did it work because already it
is in
you because if it's not in you no matter
that is my view today on zanu Project
