0:04 hi everyone I just finished my last
0:06 client of the day it's around 700 p.m.
0:10 and I was thinking about one topic which
0:12 I would like to talk about a little bit
0:15 more which is how to manage client's
0:17 expectations especially when I first
0:20 started I was struggling with this for
0:23 so long because I didn't have enough
0:26 experience I didn't have enough
0:30 information uh I wasn't confident uh I
0:33 knew basically zero things about pmu and
0:37 I think the theory is perfect but what
0:40 makes you confident and what makes you
0:43 knowing what you are doing is doing the
0:46 thing so you can buy online course or
0:49 you can buy whatever you want but if you
0:52 are not going to practice on your models
0:55 and on the latex as much as you can I
0:57 think that it will never come like this
1:00 feeling will will never came will never
1:05 come you really need to do the thing and
1:07 if you meet a lot of people if you meet
1:11 a lot of clients different clients
1:12 someone who wears a lot of makeup
1:15 someone who wears a little bit of makeup
1:18 someone who never wears makeup you will
1:20 learn how to do the
1:24 consultations in a good way so you can
1:27 explain to your client what they can
1:30 expect because for example if you have a
1:34 client who never wears makeup for me
1:36 these ones are the best clients because
1:38 I know they will be very happy with the
1:42 work I do if I have a client who wears
1:46 makeup most of the time they expect from
1:50 me to do the Brows exactly the same as
1:53 they wear makeup and they expect from me
1:56 the same effect after it is going to
2:00 heal but we are not putting make up on
2:03 top of the skin as they do in the
2:05 bathroom in the morning but we are
2:08 implanting the pigment into the skin and
2:11 there is so many things which influence
2:13 how the pigments how the pigment is
2:18 going to heal how it's going to look how
2:20 how long it's going to stay in the skin
2:23 and so on we have to explain the clients
2:26 that skin is the biggest organ in our
2:30 body and it has its own life there are
2:32 mcroof fages they eat the pigment they
2:34 don't want the pigment to stay in the
2:37 skin because it's like a different
2:39 particle and your body does not like
2:42 this particle so mcroof fages are trying
2:45 to eat it or remove it from the from the
2:48 place over here because they don't want
2:49 it to stay in the skin it's not healthy
2:52 for the body to have the pigment in the
2:54 skin so we have to explain our clients
2:57 that uh macro fages eat the pigment then
3:00 the second thing is what is influencing
3:03 how the pigment looks in the skin which
3:07 is melanin a melanin fil melanin
3:09 hemoglobin betac karoten there is so
3:12 many things I cannot talk about it right
3:14 now because I would stay here for one
3:19 hour but more we explain to our clients
3:21 how many things influence the pigment in
3:24 the skin and more we explain to our
3:28 clients how bad is to saturate the
3:32 pigment or to saturate the Brows a lot
3:34 especially when we are using like
3:37 pigments with stronger binders which we
3:39 know it's going to stain the skin it's
3:42 not going to move because the binders
3:44 hold the particles
3:47 together then it's a problem because
3:49 they don't know anything they they are
3:51 not the professionals they are not here
3:53 to to know what is going on in the skin
3:57 and to know how to do the pmu in a good
3:59 way we are the ones who should really
4:02 take care of the of this and we are the
4:04 ones who should learn as much as
4:08 possible this is one of the reasons why
4:11 sometimes I may look like a lunatic when
4:14 I learn about nanometers and particles
4:17 and these kind of things and like uh a
4:20 lot of different things from the
4:22 chemistry point of view but it's only
4:24 because I really I really pay attention
4:28 to what I'm doing and it is also because
4:33 I did so many mistakes and it was so bad
4:36 and I had so much anxiety from it that I
4:38 really do not want to have these kind of
4:42 feelings anymore and trust me now it may
4:44 look like I know a lot but I still feel
4:47 like I don't know a lot and I know like
4:51 nothing so what you can do for your
4:54 client and what is the best to do is to
4:58 explain everything every smallest detail
5:00 sometimes my clients lay on the bed and
5:03 I do the do their brows and I talk with
5:06 them about organic pigments inorganic
5:09 pigments I talk about carbon black I
5:11 explained that carbon black is very
5:14 stable in the skin and if we are if we
5:17 will saturate the Brows with the strong
5:21 pigments it will never go away from the
5:24 skin it will become lighter and more
5:27 grayish but it will never go away from
5:30 the skin completely so if they know this
5:33 kind of feelings uh if they know this
5:34 kind of
5:37 information they do not have to
5:38 understand it
5:41 100% but they know what you are talking
5:44 about and they know that you are the one
5:47 who understands what you are doing and
5:49 this is the best feeling for for the
5:52 clients because they are they know they
5:56 are in the good hands and for example if
5:59 you are rushing during the day and you
6:02 don't have enough time for your clients
6:04 they feel it and then you are under the
6:06 pressure and it's also what I
6:10 experienced with my own pmu career I was
6:12 rushing so much I didn't have enough
6:14 time for my clients to explain
6:17 everything I some I had a period of life
6:20 where I didn't even do consultations
6:22 because my clients they didn't really
6:24 want it the consultation and we both
6:27 saved some time and it was perfect but
6:30 at the end of the day I still think that
6:35 this consultation is giving you this um
6:38 opportunity you can have a strong bond
6:41 with your client and your client get can
6:44 get to know you better and that means
6:46 that if you explain everything and if
6:47 they get to know you during the
6:50 consultation I think this is your client
6:52 for Lifetime they will never leave you
6:55 because they will feel like they are in
6:58 the safe hands and when we are going to
7:02 go and when we are going to have pmu on
7:06 our face we want to be in the safe hands
7:09 because if not it's a huge problem and
7:11 you have to remove it and you have to
7:14 use like lasers or do removals and
7:16 clients are scared they don't know how
7:19 it's going to go you don't know how it's
7:21 going to go if there is a lot of color
7:25 it takes so long and it's very expensive
7:29 and then slowly but surely they are are
7:32 changing their opinion about permanent
7:36 makeup this is what happened to me too I
7:39 am removing so many brows and even lips
7:42 and people are scared most of the time
7:46 they trust me but I can feel that they
7:48 are a little bit scared because they
7:51 already had a bad experience and if your
7:53 client will have a bad experience the
7:56 problem is that they will talk about bad
7:59 experience regarding permanent makeup to
8:01 someone else else and to someone else
8:03 and to someone else and we don't want
8:06 this we want to have a good careers we
8:09 want to have a lot of clients so we have
8:11 quite a lot of money from it then we can
8:13 invest this money we can have a nice
8:15 life but if we are not going to do the
8:20 best we can for the clients or we will
8:22 do what they want without explaining
8:25 them what it can cost in the long term
8:26 in the
8:30 future then we are I don't want to say
8:32 like destroying the permanent makeup
8:34 industry but we
8:38 are making it a little bit worse than we
8:40 could and this is what happened to me a
8:43 few times that people told me that I'm
8:44 teresia I'm really happy that you are
8:46 removing my
8:49 browse but uh to be honest if I would
8:52 know it's going to take so long it's
8:54 going to hurt so much and it will be so
8:58 expensive I would never ever do pmu for
9:02 myself and this is what we do not want
9:05 this is why I always try to learn
9:07 something every day or at least every
9:12 week I am very scared when I do new
9:15 brows or new lips and I always start
9:18 very softly I always choose lighter
9:20 colors and I explain everything to my
9:23 clients I tell them look I have no idea
9:26 how it's going to heal like I can't
9:27 predict how it's going to heal based on
9:31 my experience but I cannot tell you 100%
9:34 how it's going to heal I don't know how
9:36 much of the pigment your macro fages
9:39 will eat I don't know how you are going
9:42 to take care of the brows or of the lips
9:45 I don't know if my pressure is like
9:48 1,00% good because the skin like
9:50 epidermis and dermis between the
9:52 epidermis and dermis there is the skin
9:54 and it looks like this so it's not like
9:57 a flat flat flat Place flat skin where
9:59 you just use same pressure and
10:03 everything is perfect okay it may be but
10:07 more difficult your skin is more
10:09 difficult it is to have a beautiful
10:12 result and you have to still take into
10:15 the consideration that you do not know
10:19 how exactly your client took care of the
10:21 Brows because they can tell you yeah
10:23 theia I was doing everything as you said
10:25 and then I asked them if they clean the
10:27 brows or they didn't clean the brows or
10:29 if they had a lot of Plasma on the brows
10:33 house and they said M my scabs were too
10:36 thick and this way you can understand
10:37 that they didn't do what you said
10:39 because if they would for example clean
10:41 the Brows a little bit it wouldn't
10:45 happen and all the smalls details in pmu
10:48 really matters because if you do not
10:51 explain everything properly then what is
10:54 going on is that these
10:58 clients create a lot of stress on you
11:00 they they put a lot of stress on you
11:02 because they bombard you with the
11:04 messages and they call you like it
11:07 happened to me today then my client
11:10 called me oh Teresa uh the Brows became
11:14 darker and at the end um the scub is off
11:17 uh the scab Falls F off today and there
11:20 is basically no pigment and I'm saying
11:22 like and she said like I really need a
11:25 correction right now because there is no
11:28 pigment and I explain everything to her
11:31 and she had her brows done two weeks ago
11:33 and I said okay we can do correction
11:35 procedure it's normal I said on the
11:37 correction Pro I said on the procedure
11:40 when you've been here that we will do it
11:42 but we can do it only like after one
11:45 month and a half the soonest and she
11:47 said oh but I don't have a pigment there
11:50 and I was like but we don't know yet how
11:53 it's going to heal because epidermis is
11:56 renewing itself and there is a lot of
11:59 fresh cells on top and it's going to
12:03 become thinner after some time but we
12:05 have to wait this is going to take some
12:08 time it's not going to heal in one day
12:10 but this is everything I I told her
12:13 everything when she was here but she
12:16 called me again and I wasn't stressed at
12:19 all because I know how it works and this
12:22 is like this happens to me once every
12:25 two months because I explain everything
12:28 but maybe she forgot or maybe she she
12:30 saw it in the morning in the mirror and
12:33 she was like oh what is going on I
12:35 completely understand if I would be a
12:38 client and if I wouldn't know I would be
12:41 very scared that's why that's why I
12:43 understand basically why all my clients
12:46 in the beginning they were bombarding me
12:48 with all the messages and and and calls
12:51 like what is going on with their brows
12:54 because I wasn't good enough with
12:57 explanation what is happening after even
12:59 though I explained a little bit but
13:02 another important point is to know that
13:04 you have to explain everything in a
13:06 logic way because if you are not going
13:08 to explain your clients everything in a
13:11 logic way they will forget if you
13:14 explain to them you have to clean your
13:16 brows after the procedure because we
13:19 cannot have huge and thick scaps
13:22 otherwise the scaps will take a pigment
13:23 and there will be no pigment left and
13:26 your money are like basically you throw
13:28 the money through the window I am 100%
13:31 sure they will take care much more on
13:33 the other side if you would only say
13:35 that okay just clean the Brows a little
13:37 bit and it will be perfect if you
13:40 explain in a good way they will always
13:44 understand so let's summarize this video
13:47 first things first do a very good
13:50 consultation try to look at your client
13:53 and feel like feel what kind of client
13:56 it is if it's it if if your client has a
13:59 strong personality or if your client is
14:01 very soft like an angel if your client
14:05 is light or they are darker how they how
14:08 they do their makeup how they uh what
14:11 kind of clothes they wear then try to
14:14 understand what they would like to have
14:17 like what is their desired effect
14:19 because some of the clients they use
14:21 makeup but they don't want you to do the
14:24 Brows as like the makeup effect so make
14:26 sure to understand what is the
14:28 expectation of the client and make sure
14:31 make sure sure to uh basically explain
14:33 everything what you are doing and why
14:35 they should take care of the Brows how
14:38 the pigments work how long it's going to
14:41 take uh if the pigment they if they will
14:44 change the the color or they will not
14:46 change the color there is a lot of
14:48 things you have to talk about with your
14:52 client but it is always 100% worth it
14:55 because if you are if you will show
14:58 yourself as a huge professional and
15:01 expert expert in your field they will
15:04 never go away they will always stay with
15:07 you and you will have in 5 to 10 years
15:09 you will have a lot of clients they will
15:11 come back every one year and every one
15:14 year and a half you will be stressfree
15:16 because you know what kind of pigments
15:17 you are using your what kind of
15:19 technique you do you know that they will
15:22 come you can do beautiful refresh and
15:24 they can go home and they can come back
15:26 even in one year again and then you
15:28 don't have to be stressed out that you
15:30 don't have enough clients because as at
15:32 the in the beginning first three years
15:35 of my career I had a huge problem
15:37 because I saw that not a lot of my
15:40 clients are coming back and you wouldn't
15:44 say this if you wouldn't know me but I
15:47 really wasn't sure about my work and I
15:49 really didn't know what I was doing and
15:52 I am such a knive person I was trusting
15:53 everyone regarding pigments regarding
15:56 technique regarding everything but at
15:59 the end of the day um the problem is
16:01 that you never find out straight away
16:04 and it takes like regarding pigments it
16:06 takes minimum 6 months to one year to
16:09 really find found found out like how it
16:12 works and if the pigments are good or no
16:13 so and especially when you remove them
16:16 with a laser later on so it's a huge
16:20 topic but please um explain everything
16:24 you can and if you're not sure about the
16:26 about your
16:29 information always learn and always take
16:32 new courses because this is something
16:35 what no one will take from you and this
16:37 is something what what is the most
16:41 important in our field uh have a nice
16:44 night let me know if you like this video
16:46 and if you have another topics you want
16:48 me to talk about and I can do another
16:50 videos about these new topics have a
16:52 beautiful night and I will see you in
