0:06 gel here is is the apparatus for casting
0:10 the Jael there are four different parts
0:12 to this jaw apparatus uh first of all
0:15 you have two glass plates uh you have a
0:17 short plate and then you have a toll
0:20 plate then you also have a a casting
0:23 frame and a casting stand what you do
0:27 here right now is you want to place the
0:30 short
0:31 plate in front of the toe plate like
0:35 that and then put it into the casting
0:40 frame after you putting the casting
0:42 frame you secure it by clamping it and
0:46 then you want to check that the button
0:48 is flat when everything is
0:51 done then you can put it on the casting
0:54 stand okay after we have assembled the
0:57 jaw apparatus what we need to do right
0:58 now is we will take the comb and we'll
1:02 place it in between the glass plates
1:04 like that and we'll take a marker and
1:07 we'll make a mark approximately 1 cm
1:11 beneath below the comb right
1:17 there we take the comb out what we want
1:20 to do right now is we want to add a
1:22 little bit of water to the glass plate
1:25 to see whether that leak heat or not
1:33 so as you can see right now uh the
1:37 apparatus is not
1:38 leaky so therefore we'll draw out the
1:41 water using a piece of filter
1:54 paper okay now we'll be casting the
1:58 resolving Jael so so I have added
2:01 everything on the recipe except for Tate
2:05 Tate is going to initialize their
2:07 plation reaction so after you add a
2:09 teammate you should cast the jaw right
2:24 away so now I have just added
2:28 teammate to my Sol ution so we want to
2:31 pour the gel right
2:33 away we want to pour the gel till the
2:37 gel is at the same level as the
2:41 Mark it's okay if you introduce any air
2:44 bubbles right now we'll fix that
2:55 later
2:58 so we'll pour the gel to the
3:04 mark and then we'll remove the bubbles
3:09 by adding a layer of isop perano on top
3:13 of the gel like
3:26 that so after the resolving jaw has
3:28 polymerized we will try out the isopo
3:33 using the filter paper

3:43 again after we draw the isopo we can
3:47 cast the stacking
3:57 gel so right now I'm going to add team
3:59 it to the stocking
4:03 gel so we'll fill up the rest of the
4:07 plate with stocking
4:14 gel we'll fill it all the way to the
4:18 top like that right now you don't want
4:20 to introduce any air bubble because
4:22 you're just going to get
4:24 trapped and then we'll put in the comb
4:34 and that's how you cast an SDS gel
