and uh
go explore town. There's the officers up
in the bridge docking. This will be uh
our first visit here. What to do? What
to do? I think that's the uh container
marketplace I heard about. I didn't
realize it was literally off the ship. So,
So,
we're going to go check that out. We've
been told the uh reversing falls in Bay
of Fundy is less exciting than it
sounded, but we may still go check it
Container Village,
which is right off of the uh the cruise
port. That's our ship right there, the
Majestic Princess. It's just a bunch of
shipping containers that a nonprofit
organization put together here
and made a bunch of storefronts
out of uh shipping containers,
which is kind of cool.

[Music]
It just keeps going.
It just keeps going.
There goes another one. [Music]
[Music] Oh.
Oh.
All right. We must continue on. Over
there is Market Square.
I think we're going to go check that out.
The Rock of St. John. Yeah,
Yeah,

Okay, who remembers these?
This seems to be an actual working phone
booth in St. John County. [Music]
They have found a way for people to not lean
lean
against their fence.
>> They are.
I mean, this is like some medieval
fencing right here. [Music]
[Music]
And then walking up here,
we have this old church
church
called the stone church,

This is the backside of Lyola's house,

[Music]
So, we're going to head back down there,
back into the uh
area 506 festival area, and we're going
to get some beaver tails. Yeah. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
So, checking out this apartment here.
Got the bedrooms upstairs. Let's see
what they have in their living room.
Wait, what is that? Huh. All right. They
got a 4Runner inside their living room.
Okay. All right. All good. [Music]
[Music]
So, our room
is right
pretty much even with the entrance to
the container marketplace here somewhere
up there. Adam is still on the ship somewhere.
[Music]
But yeah, this is a it's a hilly town,
but it's a it's a cool place to check out.
[Music]
Another one of those big pink buses.
Some local kurfuffle with the police, maybe.
maybe.
I don't know. Looking forward to uh
getting back on the ship and getting
that first drink of the day. I'll tell
you that much. My back is killing me. >> Hi.
>> Hi. >> Hello.
We are here at the container festival
area, the little container neighborhood,
and they have a beaver tail. So, I got
myself a classic beaver tail, and we're
waiting on some poutine, and we're going
to enjoy our little yummy snackies
before we get back on the ship. Uh, I
really enjoyed the city. We had got some
good shops. We got some good souvenir
shopping. And but I'm ready to get back
on the ship now after I enjoy my beaver tail.
>> This is our beaver tails poutine [Music]
[Music]
gravy, cheese curds, fries.
What more can you ask for?
Though they do have some with bacon in
them, too, but we didn't get that one.
And we've already cut into the the
beaver tail pastry. pretty good. I don't
think it's as good as the uh fried bread
that they have up in Alaska, but it's
similar if you've had that.
>> It has thinner parts and then the outer
parts are a little bit thicker and
fluffier, so the outside's better than
the inside. It's kind of thin and and crispy.
crispy.
>> Yeah. Hey, we're back here from St.
John's. We just got back from doing a
little walk around town and uh we saw a
bunch of churches and doing a little
little self exploration around the town
and uh we're actually cruising uh this
New England cruise with our friend April
and her daughter Rose and she actually
has her own YouTube channel and she's
here with me right now and I'm going to
have her tell a little bit about it.
>> Hi, my name's April. My daughter Rose
and I are joining uh Christina and Tony
on this cruise. My YouTube channel is
crafting in the night. On that channel,
I talk about all things crochet and yarn
related. Um so if you're into that kind
of thing, feel free to check it out. But
we're excited to be here touring the
>> Yeah, we're looking at potentially doing
a live stream. This will be our Lolita
Hopper's first live stream uh with April
from Crafting the Night uh that she's
going to do uh from the Majestic
Princess later this week uh for her
subscribers. So, we're actually super
excited to be part of that. So, if uh if
we end up doing that, we will put a link
in this video so that you guys can check
it out. And uh yeah, we're super excited
to have April and her daughter on the
cruise with us. And uh our next let's
see tomorrow is a sea day and then our
next port is Halifax which is going to
be a busy busy port for us that has a
cool fort that we want to check out. I
believe the Titanic um museum and grave
graveyard is there as well. There's a
lot to do in Halifax. So that's going to
be a long day. a lot of walking, a lot
of uh a lot of stuff to check out. And
then I think we have one more sea day
and then one more port day in Sydney.
So, um yeah, a lot more of this New
England cruise to come. And uh yeah, we
just uh we're up here on the Hollywood
Conservatory, which is kind of like
their salarium indoor pool area, which
is uh pretty cool. And uh yeah, we're
just chilling right now, having some
Jack and Cokes. And uh yeah, relaxing. I
don't think we leave. It's about 4:00
right now. We don't leave until 6:30. A
lot of people back on the ship already,
though. It's already crowded. So, we're
just uh we're just chilling. We're just
enjoying the day. We're not We're still
trying to figure out what to do for
dinner. We may try to do uh Sabatinis,
which is an Italian specialty
restaurant. We did the uh Crown
Steakhouse already and we did the the
buffet last night. We were going to do
the main dining room for formal night,
but decided at the last minute to just
do uh the Leto deck. Nobody was really
feeling the whole the whole uh main
dining room vibe. So, we may do
Sabatinis tonight. And I think we have
reservations for their seafood
restaurant, which is Rudy's Rudy's
Rudy's
>> Grill. Is it was it
>> I think it's called the Catch by Rudy,
which is um the same Rudy that has a
carnival specialty dining restaurant as
well. So, we we do want to check out
Sabatinis, which is the Italian
restaurant, uh before we get off the
ship. And yeah, we're going to we're
going to chill for the rest of the the
evening. And if anything exciting comes
up, we'll uh we'll pop in and have you
join us.
So, I have not gotten all the
information yet, but across the ship, we
are currently in St. John's,
um, New Brunswick, Canada, and across
the ship are these signs across most of
the bars.
There's only about five bars that are
actually open across the ship right now.
This is not one of them, as you can see here.
here.
And there are long lines around the
ship. And if you sit around and wait for
a server to bring you a drink, you could
be waiting for an hour or more. So, I
just got done waiting in line for I
don't know, maybe 20 minutes for this
Jack and Coke. Not the end of the world.
It's about 5:00. I think we leave about
6:30. But local Canadian license laws
has this bar currently closed. So if uh
if you know what that means, leave a
comment below. Let us know what that's
about because uh so far I have not been
able to get a straight answer on what
that means. And we only have about five
bars open right now. And uh it's it's
pandemonium, let me tell you.
Pandemonium. And I'm hoping it's not
going to be like that at the uh the next
Yikes.
We are at Ali's Pub on Majestic and
Christina just got herself a Coke and it
has something on the top that we have
never seen before. Check this out.
For Hold on. Okay, there you go. for on board
board airline
airline
and maritime consumption
consumption only
only
only. Like what the heck is going on
with this Coke that this is only
for airline and cruise ships?
I don't know. This is new to me. I've
never seen that before and I've been on
a lot of cruises and a lot of airlines.
Anyway, I just thought I would share
that with you because that was new to us.
us. [Applause]
[Applause] [Music]
[Music]
Just got my burger at Ali's.
I got a side of fries.
I got shrimp for some reason.
>> Mushy peas.
>> Mushy peas. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Some mushy peas. And then April
over here got the exact same thing that
Christina got. um fish and chips with
the mushy peas.
>> And then they're over here doing Irish
>> Yeah. [Music]
[Music]
Um what is this? What is this? A
>> Guinness cake.
>> What is it?
>> Guinness layer cake.
>> This is a Guinness layer cake.
with some type of side >> sauce
>> sauce >> sauce.
>> sauce.
And then I got a apple
cobbler tart thing
thing
that I don't remember ordering at this
point. But uh yeah, we're going to dig
into these right now. [Music]
[Music]
We want you to come and join us on the
floor cuz this is a night that you're
going to remember. So come and join us
for your ultimate 80s party. Your
incredible party band.
>> Thank you. [Music]
[Music] [Applause]
[Applause] [Music]
[Applause]
We are on the Majestic Princess here
tonight and we've always been wondering
how we figure out which side of the ship
our room is on. We have an oddnumbered
room and we always kind of are looking
around and then epiphany. We figured it
out. The right side
has red carpet. The left side has blue carpet.
carpet. >> Yes.
>> Yes. >> Yes.
>> Yes.
So, left side is even numbers, blue even
and red odd. So, now we know which way
to go when we need to get to our room.
Little lowdown for you
from the majestic princess.
>> All right, I think it is bedtime.
>> Bedtime. It's been a long day.
>> Good night, dolls. C day tomorrow. >> Yes.
>> Yes. Hey,
hey, hey.
