True self-love and achievement are not found in passive affirmations but in consistent, dedicated action and self-investment towards one's goals, regardless of immediate enjoyment.

You need to [music] do everything you can
can
to be where you want to be. Are you
doing everything if you're wanting to be
an online coach? Are you doing every
thing you can to be able to be in the
position [music] to be that? If you're
wanting to be a dad the most or be in
your marriage, are you doing everying
thing you possibly can [music] to be there?
And that's the thing. I know people
leave me with situations. They're like,
"I can't do it." I'm like, "You can,
though." Like, "No, I really don't have
it." I'm like, "You do though. You're
not parting with it.
You just don't [music] believe it's
recoming back to you. You think you're
supposed to love what you do. You're
supposed to like all this [ __ ] A
realing man has a purpose and he sticks
to his purpose whether the he likes it
or not. And that is the most validating
aspect. That is where he gets his
pleasure is that he did everything he
must do and he lays his head down at
night secure that he did every thing in
his power because fatigue is the best
pillow. [music] These [ __ ]
can't even sleep at night. They're so
soft, Josh. They can't even sleep. When
people come up to me, I just think that
does this guy really admire himself?
[ __ ] no, he doesn't. Get his [ __ ] ass
out of here. [ __ ] lame.
People like, "Oh, that's awful rough.
How the is anyone going to break this
massive, massive stretch of comfort
they've had, unless they're shocked the
[ __ ] out of into reality. If most your
guys' people really told you how they
feel about you and they didn't lie, if
you can read their thoughts, you'd be
embarrassed as
straight up. Your wife's sitting there
going, "I wonder when John is going to
just really start making some money.
God, it's been 12 [music] years. He
keeps trying [ __ ] and failing and trying
[ __ ] and failing. The [ __ ] is the matter
with him? Can [snorts] he pull it
together?" John's s sitting there
thinking the same thing.
He's coming to his wife, Karen.
I'm going to do this diet this year. I'm
really going to get jacked. No more fat
John. No more fat Tommy. This shit's
pathetic. All you guys coming with your
big ass plan [music] to your people. And
then so selfishly breaking that plan,
the same [ __ ] day, the same week, the
same month, the same year, looking your
kids in the face and telling them,
"Dad's going to change and doesn't."
That's why I'm saying it's not how
you're going to make the money, it's
who. So, this is my this is my reason
for self-investment. My reason for
self-investment is because
self-investment is the only true
depiction of self-love. You can only say
you love yourself as much as [music] you
invest in yourself. This ain't that
Steuart Smallley I'm good enough. I'm
smart enough. Dog gone it. Everybody
likes me [ __ ] Those fake ass
affirmations aren't real if the actions
aren't there. So the point is your
actions towards self-love, your
self-investment is a depiction of
self-love. We are creating our capacity
to love and give love. It starts within.
So we're creating that love within in
the morning with our self-investment
process. So therefore, we can give it at
the level at which it was created
within. Now, everybody wants to the
chapter, they want to start on chapter
15. You've seen that picture where
there's like one guy climbing a ladder
and he's like
>> eight rungs up and the rungs are like
this close and there's the other [ __ ]
ladder where the guy's under the last
rung and it's way above his head. Like
this is everybody. They think they're
just going to jump to some high level.
No, just start with an early wake up
time and work out every day. Just get
blood flow and then start tracking your
macros. Trust me, you'll be like, "Man,
this is crazy." it. So many [ __ ]
eight figure CEOs that don't even know
what macros are. How the don't you know
what's on your plate? So you look down
at your body and it's a [ __ ] bag [ __ ]
stacked full of [ __ ] and you hate it.
Like you look like [ __ ] and you and you
sit down with food in front of you. You
never thought to say, "Does this plate
of food serve me or doesn't it?" How the
[ __ ] do you call yourself an
intellectual if you're destroying every
moment of your day by how shitty your
body is? Like, "Oh, I look fat in this
shirt. Oh, I wonder if they think I'm
fat. Oh [ __ ] I feel fat." Like, look at
that energy leak that a fat person has.
All they're thinking about is if they
look fat. People think they're fat. They
look fat from this angle, that angle,
this other one. All they're thinking
about is that they're fat. I've been
fat. That's all you think about. These
pants may look fat. You sure? When
you're jacked, you don't even have to
think about all that. You wipe that
whole slate clean. You're like, "Damn, I
look good from every angle because I put
the work in. I put the [ __ ] work in."
These [ __ ] don't realize that
if they just anything that's so negative
inside you is a punishment cuz you're
doing it wrong. You can't choose to say,
"No, I enjoy being fat." You feel
negative about your appearance cuz
you're doing it wrong. You're living
wrong. You're trashing this gift of a
body you've been given. You're supposed
to be proud of it. Supposed to polish
it, shave it, [ __ ] have it just
ready, just on point. I just don't
understand why people don't get that.
The man who takes more pride in the
steps it takes to attain that result
than that result, he can't be stopped.
And you ain't ready for that million
bucks if you want the million bucks. I
want to prove that I'm unstoppable. I
want to prove that I'm the best at what
I [ __ ] do. I want to prove that you
can be the best if you listen to me. I
want to prove that we can [ __ ] do
this [ __ ] but we just have to get up
and [ __ ] do it. And we have to do it
right. We have to put our soul into we
have to care. And the thing is is
everybody wants that. They want that
quick [ __ ] route. Well, and I I tell
them, dude, your chapter one ain't my
chapter 15, [ __ ] I may have got
you a six-pack and got you ripped in a
year, but realize I'm 15 years into this
mindset training. You ain't going to be
able to make the video I make. You're
going to be stuttering, stammering, and
[ __ ] not making sense, [ __ ]
You haven't you haven't built your
belief system yet. Clarify your vision
and plan with precision. Like, what's
your vision of who you want to be?
Create that, [ __ ] first. Like,
the first thing we manifest in our life
is like our body and ourselves. So, like
visualize the man you are, the 10.0
version of you, [music] and create that
[ __ ] Every time your old lesser
self wants to be like, "No, let's go
drink or let's go eat this [ __ ]
food." Just operate from that character
you've created, that 10.0 you and say,
"No, I don't. My higher self, this 10.0
me doesn't do that. If you operate from
this person and don't deviate from them,
you will then be that person." And I was
even talking to Tom Hanks and Chad about
that. And I said, "Well, it's like
character acting. Like you become we
created a character for your son and now
we're just making him do the steps to
adhere to that character. That character
doesn't drink. That character works out
every day. That character gets up at
this time. That character eats this way.
Say this character." And then over time,
you'll habitually construct the mindset
where being that person is a lot easier
