Have you ever wondered why
some days just don't flow?
Why do you sometimes feel like the weight of the
world is falling on you from the moment you open your
eyes? Maybe it's not the job, or the
people, or the problems. Perhaps
you started the day without inviting God
to walk with you, because when God
is not first, everything else tends to fall into
disarray. But when you place it in
the center, before anything else,
everything begins to align. Your peace is
strengthened, your decisions become clearer, and
your heart, your heart finally rests.
Look, I'm not speaking to you from a religious perspective, I'm
speaking to you from the depths of my soul. There is a
real change that happens when you decide to
put God first. It's not magic, it's
spiritual power. It is a renewal that comes down
from heaven into your life every morning. And the
most beautiful thing is that you don't need riches
or a perfect life, or to know how to pray
elegantly. All you need is a
heart willing to look for it in the
simplest things. The first breath of the day, that
instant when everything is silent and you can
only hear your soul awakening.
Because just as a tree cannot
bloom without light, you cannot move forward
without God's presence guiding your
path. And perhaps you came to this
video today because you needed a sign, a
pause, a word, a reason not to
give up. Well, listen carefully, this was no
coincidence. It was God who brought you here
to tell you, son, daughter, put me first
and I will do the rest. If this message
is already touching your soul, help me take it
to many more. Like the video,
comment, share. You don't know how many
people out there are longing to
hear a word, but they don't have a
church, a guide, a community. You
can be that bridge with just a
click. Believe me, what you do is also
part of God's work. Your small
gesture can be the light that someone else
needs. And speaking of comments,
write this powerful phrase in the comments
that goes with the whole message we are
going to experience today. God first, always.
It's short, but full of life. Write it down
if you're ready for God to take
first place in your morning, your day, and
your story. Part one. The beginning
of all change lies in the first thing
you do when you wake up. What you do in the
first few minutes of your morning sets the
pace for your entire day. Just like a
stone falling into water creates ripples
that spread out. The first thing you think,
the first thing you say, and the first thing you
decide when you open your eyes has the power
to expand throughout the
following hours.
And if that first action is to seek
God, then the waves you will stir will not
be of anxiety, nor fear, nor
weariness, but of peace, clarity,
confidence, and spiritual strength. Many people get
up and the first thing they do is pick up their
cell phone, check social media, answer
messages, watch the news, worry about
money, remember
pending tasks, think about yesterday's problem
or the wound that is still bleeding.
And without realizing it, instead of filling their
hearts with light, they fill them with noise. A
noise that drowns out the voice of God. A
noise that extinguishes hope before
the day even begins. Therefore,
putting God first is not just an
option, it is a spiritual necessity if you
truly want to experience a
profound change in your life. Jesus knew it. He
himself would get up very early, even though he
was the Son of God, to have
communion with the Father. In the Gospel
of Mark, chapter 1, verse 35, we are
told that very early in the morning,
while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to
a solitary place, where he prayed. Think
about this for a moment. If Jesus, the
Savior of the world, felt the need
to seek the Father at the beginning of the day,
how much more should we. Putting God
first does not mean reciting
long prayers or following religious formulas. It
means opening your soul and saying, "Here
I am, Lord. I wake up today by your
grace. I give you my day. Guide me,
accompany me, use me." It starts with
recognizing that you are not alone and that your
strength does not depend solely on you. It is
declaring that before your thoughts,
your decisions, your plans, and your
emotions, there is Him. Look at what the
psalm says, chapter 5, verse 3. O
LORD, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the
morning I will appear before you and
wait. The psalmist not only prayed in
the morning, but he had the expectation
that God would answer, that something would
happen. That is the faith that changes everything,
the one that starts the day knowing that God
is listening, that He is with you and that He will
manifest Himself in small or
great things. And when you make that a
habit, when every morning your first
act is to meet with God, you begin to
notice different things, things you previously
ignored. For example, you no longer react the
same way to bad news; you no longer
fall so easily into anger or
impatience. You no longer drown
in negative thoughts so quickly. Because?
Because it's no longer you facing the day, it
's God walking with you. The morning is
like the start of a daily battle, and
if you don't go out with your spiritual armor
on, the world will beat you mercilessly.
Ephesians chapter 6 reminds us that
we must put on the whole armor
of God to stand firm in the evil day. And
a bad day doesn't give you any warning.
Therefore, praying in the morning, reading the
word, meditating on a promise, is your
way of preparing yourself. It's like saying,
"Lord, I don't know what will happen today, but I do
know who is with me." Many seek
human solutions to
spiritual problems and become frustrated when nothing changes
. But the root is not in what
you do next, but in how you begin.
Putting God first is not an
empty routine. It is to plant in your soul the certainty
that there is a purpose, that every
step will be guided, that no matter what
comes, you have already started the day in the
best possible way, holding the
creator's hand. Maybe you've never
tried it, maybe you've tried everything and
feel like nothing works, but today
you can try something different. Start your
day with God. Talk to him before you talk to
the world. It searches for her voice before
any notification. Give him your
first words, your first
thought, your first breath. Do it
sincerely and you'll see how that small
decision begins to change everything.
Because there is indeed a spiritual power that is
activated when you decide to put God
first every morning. Not because you're
perfect, but because you're humble enough to
recognize that you can't do it without him. And that—
that humility, that search, that
sincere longing—God never despises it. In
fact, that's where he starts to exert
more force. Part two. When God comes
first, everything else falls into
place. There is something that many do not understand,
but that makes all the difference. When
you put God first, it's not that everything
becomes perfect, but that everything starts
to align correctly.
It's as if everything inside you was all jumbled up before
. Emotions, thoughts,
responsibilities, wounds,
worries. But when you give
God first place, he doesn't take away the
pieces of your life, he
rearranges them. And where there was once chaos,
now there is order. Where there was once
confusion, there is now
purpose. Jesus said in Matthew, chapter
6, verse 33, "But seek
first the kingdom of God and his
righteousness, and all these things will be
added to you. Notice that detail, all
these things." He didn't say some, nor the
most urgent, nor the smallest, he said
all of them. That includes your needs, your
desires, your problems, your dreams. But he
made it clear. Order matters.
Kingdom first, God first, His
will first, and everything else will follow. Maybe not
how you thought, maybe not when you
wanted, but it will come. Because when He comes
first, everything else ceases to be a
crushing burden and becomes just another
part of the path He has already
prepared. The problem is that we often
live backwards. Work first,
children first, studies first,
pending tasks first, and then, if there is
time, we pray and say it with good
intentions. I'm very busy, I don't have
time, I'll do it later. But the
truth is that it's not a question of time, it's a
question of priority, because we
always make room for everything that's important
. When someone loves another
person, they look for a moment. Even if the day
is full, so it is with God.
When you truly love Him, you seek Him, you
honor Him, you put Him above everything,
even yourself. And when you do,
you start to notice something that at first you
couldn't put into words. Your heart
begins to fill, not with things, not
with achievements, but with peace.
A peace that is not based on what is
happening outside, but on what is
happening inside you. As
Philippians says, chapter 4, verse 7.
And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus. That peace cannot be bought,
earned, or achieved through
human effort. It is a gift that comes when your
soul is put in order and puts first the one
who created you. Now, someone might
say, "But I pray and I still have
problems. I start the day seeking
God and the difficulties are still there." And
yes, it's true, prayer isn't
a magic key that solves
everything. The point is that by putting God
first, you no longer face those
difficulties with your limited strength,
but with His power. It doesn't change your
exterior immediately, but it changes your
interior. And that's the most important thing,
because if your heart is strong, the
outside world can no longer break you. If your mind
is clear, you no longer get lost in
fear. If your spirit is in communion
with God, you no longer walk in darkness,
even if the day is dark. Furthermore, there is
something wonderful that happens over
time. When you make putting God
first a daily habit, you begin to
hear His voice more clearly. It's no longer
just a spoken prayer, it's a
living relationship. His spirit begins to
remind you of things during the day, to
guide you in small decisions, to give you
peace when you don't understand it, to correct you
when you stray. You begin to feel that you are
not alone, that you are being guided
step by step, and that is a gift
worth more than anything else you
could receive. Many people live
in anguish because they want to
control everything, and the strangest thing is that the
more they want to control, the more disordered they become
inside. But when you start your day
saying, "Lord, you come first. You
direct my day, my mind, my life,"
then you no longer need to be in
control because you know you are in the hands
of the One who truly has everything under
control. And here comes a
beautiful truth. When God comes first, you
too begin to discover who you
truly are, because as you draw closer to Him you see
your reflection clearly. No longer through
pain, the past, rejection, or
fear. You see it as God sees it. You begin
to discover your value, your purpose, your
identity, and that also transforms your
day. Because when you know who you are in
God, no one can steal your hope.
Putting God first every morning not only
changes your routine, it changes your course. And that
change is not immediate, it is progressive,
but constant. It's like planting a
seed that tomorrow will be a tree, which
later will be shade, and still later will be
fruit. But it all starts with a
simple decision: to get up every
morning and say, "God first."
Part three, the invisible transformation
that begins from within. There is a
truth that we often forget. What
happens inside you is more
important than what happens around you
. Because you might have a
difficult day, you might face
complicated people,
discouraging news, problems that don't get
solved quickly. But if your inner self
is filled with the presence of God, if
your heart was strengthened in the
early morning when you spoke with Him,
then none of that can bring you down.
What changes when you put God
first is not only your environment, it's how
you deal with it. And that makes all
the difference because it's not about
avoiding the storm, it's about
having an anchor when the storm arrives,
and that anchor is your relationship with
God. A relationship that grows stronger every
morning when you decide to look for him before
looking for anything else. Look at what
Isaiah says, chapter 26 verse 3. You
will keep in perfect peace those whose
minds are steadfast, because they
trust in you. Do you know what
that means? that peace is not something that
simply appears when everything is going well.
True peace is born when you decide to
trust, when you keep your thoughts
firmly on God, when you persevere in
seeking Him every day, even when you are tired, even when you
don't understand, even when you don't see
immediate results.
And that's what happens every time
you make prayer your first food.
Because just as your body needs
breakfast, your spirit needs
direction, comfort, and strength. And you can't
find that anywhere else but in
the presence of God. A presence that
not only listens to you, but speaks to you,
embraces you, and prepares you for whatever you
have to experience that day.
Many believe that putting God first is
just a symbolic act, like a good
spiritual gesture, but it is more than that.
It's a decision that changes your
perspective, your attitude, your
thoughts, your way of speaking,
even your way of loving. Because by
talking to God early, He begins to
shape your character. And where there was once
complaint, he now puts gratitude. Where there was once
impatience, he now brings temperance.
Where there was once fear, he sows
courage. And no, you won't always
feel that way. There will be mornings when you don't feel like
praying, when everything
is dark inside, but that's when it
matters most that you do it, because
faith is not about emotion, it's about
decision. Putting God first won't
always be easy, but it will always be worth it
. Because even when you don't
feel anything, God is still working.
Even when your words seem
dry, he is listening.
Even when you are silent, His
spirit is in motion. And something even
more beautiful happens over time. God
begins to prepare your environment through
your prayers. People change,
situations improve, doors
open, and often you don't even
know that it was your prayer that morning
that moved heaven to make it
happen. But that's the power of putting it
first. He works in the unseen
while you walk confidently in what is to
come. True transformation
always begins from within. And when
you decide to start each morning seeking
God, that transformation is activated. It doesn't
change you overnight, but it does
transform you day after day in your
innermost being. And the most beautiful thing is that you don't
need to be perfect to start. You
only need to say, "Lord, today I
also give you my first moment. Here
I am. Once again. I need you." This is how the
quietest and most
powerful revolution of all begins, the one that happens when
a person, in the midst of their fragility,
decides to put God at the center and
walk with Him from the first breath
of the day. Part four. What you sow
in the morning, you reap during the day.
Every morning is a blank field,
virgin land where you decide what you will
sow. And what you sow, without fail, you will
reap at some point during the
day. If you sow complaint, you reap
dissatisfaction. If you sow fear,
you reap anxiety. But if you sow
prayer, you reap direction. If you sow
gratitude, you reap joy. If you sow the
word of God, you reap faith. That is why
the moment you wake up is so
key, because there you are planting the
first spiritual seed of the day. The
Bible teaches this clearly in Galatians,
chapter 6, verse 7: "Do not be deceived:
God cannot be mocked. For whatever
man thinks he wills is made perfect in him." What you sow, you also
reap. And this spiritual law has no
exception; it always works. What
you sow each morning with your words,
your thoughts, your attitude,
inevitably germinates into something. That's why it
's so important to sow well. Because
if you know that God is with you, if
you start the day with Him, then you
are already preparing a harvest of peace, of
calm, of solutions you may not
even imagine.
Many want to reap blessings without
having sown communion. They want
answers without having sought God's voice
. They want peace, but they haven't prayed.
They want strength, but they haven't opened
the Bible. And it's not about
religiosity; it's about
eternal principles that work for those who put them
into practice. If you want to see God in your
day, you have to invite Him from the
beginning. And no matter how busy you
are, there is always time for what is a
priority. Sometimes it's enough to
get up, put your feet on the ground, and
say softly, "Lord, thank you for
this new day." Guide me, accompany me,
make me sensitive to your voice. If
you start each day with an honest prayer like
that, even if it only lasts a few minutes, you are
planting a powerful seed, because it is
not the size of the prayer that
matters, but the disposition of the
heart. David, the king and psalmist, was
a busy man. He fought battles,
ruled a people, faced
enemies, but still he never stopped
seeking God in the morning. In psalm
chapter 59 verse 16 it says: "But
I will sing of your strength and in the morning I will praise
your mercy, for he has been
my refuge and fortress in the day of my trouble."
trouble."
Notice how he says it. I will praise in the morning
before the anguish, before the
chaos, before the decisions, because
he knew that his protection did not begin
with his soldiers, but with his connection
with God. And this also applies to you,
because it doesn't matter if you are a housewife,
worker, student, entrepreneur,
father, mother, or young person who is looking for
their purpose. What you do at the start of
your day internally determines how
you face what's to come. It is no coincidence
that so many people who have peace in the
midst of chaos, who have calm in the
midst of bad news, are those who
have made seeking God a
daily habit. From early on, from the intimate,
from the
real, it began as a simple practice and
becomes your anchor. You can no longer
start the day without praying. It doesn't feel the
same anymore if you don't read at least one verse. You
no longer rely on your own strength,
because you learned that true
strength comes when you connect with the
eternal before immersing yourself in the
everyday. Putting God first each
morning is like charging your spirit with
heavenly energy. It's like filling your
tank before going into battle. It's
like talking to the general before
entering the field. You're not improvising,
you're walking with direction. And that doesn't
just change you, it impacts
those around you. Because when you
fill yourself with God in the morning, you will
inevitably reflect it
throughout the day. And that reflection might be
just what someone else needs. Perhaps
your smile will be
someone's comfort. Perhaps your patience will be the
answer. Perhaps your wise silence
will be a lesson. But it all begins
with the seed you planted
when you woke up and decided to say,
"Lord, you first." Part five. When
God comes first, the enemy loses
ground. There is something happening in the
spiritual realm. Every time you decide to
put God first, the enemy
loses influence over your day because he
knows that if he manages to distract you in the
morning, if he manages to make you start your day with
anxiety, with complaining, with social media
or simply with noise, then he has already
won a small battle. But when
you open your eyes and before anything else
you talk to God, read his
word, give thanks, then you are
declaring in the invisible, "Today I do not
walk alone, today heaven goes with me."
Many people underestimate that moment, believing it
has no value because it is short or
because they don't feel anything special, but that
is precisely what the enemy wants you to
think. He wants you to believe that it's useless
, that it doesn't change anything. But
the truth is that every time you put
God first, you are building a
spiritual wall around your
mind, your family, your emotions,
your entire day. Ephesians chapter 6,
verse 12, says that we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of
this age, against spiritual hosts
of wickedness. In other words, every day
there is a spiritual battle that you
cannot see, but that you can
face. And your best weapon is not
strength, nor intelligence, nor
control. Your best weapon is the presence
of God filling your life from early on. That's why
, when you get up and
pause to pray, you're not wasting
time, you're gaining protection. When
you read a passage from the Bible, even a
short one, you are filling your mind with truth
that combats the lies that the world will
try to sow in you. When you choose to be
grateful before complaining, you are
positioning yourself for victory, even if
you don't see the result yet. There are
people who tell me, "I don't have
time. My morning is very fast, I have
many things to do."
But when you look closely, you realize that there is
always a moment. Sometimes it's
5 minutes before leaving, sometimes
while you're getting dressed, sometimes while
you're having your first coffee. It's not about
having a perfect place, it's about
having a willing heart. The enemy does
not fear a person who says they believe in
God. He fears a person who gets
up every day and seeks him out with
determination, because that person does not walk around
confused, does not let themselves be manipulated by
any emotion, does not give up
easily. That person is connected to
the greatest source of power that
exists, daily communion with the
creator. And it is in that time of the morning
where God not only listens to you, but also
speaks to you. Perhaps not with an
audible voice, but through a
sudden peace, a clarity of
thought, a word that appears
just when you needed it most. And that
guidance, that whisper of the spirit, can
completely change the course of your day.
When you don't talk to God in the
morning, you often enter the day without
direction, and the enemy takes advantage of
that. Use your emotions against yourself, use
your tiredness, your memories, your
past wounds. But when you do speak to
God at the beginning, you are saying to
heaven and also to hell, "Today
I am not alone. Today I walk with the one who has already
won." And that statement carries
spiritual weight. Even if no one else
sees it, even if the world keeps turning the same,
you know that inside there is something
different, because you started the day with the
light of God and where there is light,
darkness cannot remain. Part
six. The reward of a life that
honors God from an early age. When
you make seeking God the first thing in your
day, you are not only fulfilling a
spiritual discipline, you are sowing
honor. And every act of honor has a
reward. Not because you seek God's
reward for what you do, but because
His nature is to respond with love to
those who sincerely honor Him
. He sees that heart which, even
when sleepy, tired, or with a thousand things
to do, stops to say, "Before anything else
, you." Proverbs, chapter 8,
verse 17, says it clearly. I
love those who love me, and those
who seek me early find me. That's a
promise that won't be broken. Those who seek
God early find Him. It's not
just about a schedule, but about priority,
intention, and sincerity.
Because seeking it early means putting it
first, it means giving it your attention before
the world. And that has eternal value in heaven
. Some people have
wondered, "Why don't I hear God?"
Why am I not seeing results? Why don't I
feel his presence? And often the
answer lies at the root of their
habits. God is not hidden. He is
present, available, open to having
communion with you every morning.
But if you always leave that moment for
later, if you postpone it, if you do it
when you are already tired or when
all the distractions have passed, it is not
that God does not want to speak to you, it is that you
no longer have space in your heart to
listen to Him. When you seek Him
early, when you start your day with Him, you
are saying with your actions, "Lord, you
are the most important." And that changes
everything, because not only do you begin to feel
its direction, you also begin to
develop a clearer sense of purpose
. Decisions are no longer made
based on emotion, but on
wisdom. Problems no longer cloud your judgment
because you know that the one who gave you the day will
also give you the way out, and that produces
stability, produces peace, produces
spiritual maturity. And the most beautiful thing is
that God honors that search. It does so in
ways that you sometimes don't
immediately recognize. It could be a protective measure that
prevented an accident. It could be a
sudden idea to solve a problem. It
can be a word in your heart
just when you were about to give up. That is how
God reveals himself to
those who seek him with devotion. And that
is more powerful than any other
life strategy.
Furthermore, when you make putting God
first a firm habit, it also
impacts those around you. Perhaps without
realizing it, you are teaching your children,
your partner, your friends, that there is a
different way to start the day.
You are setting an example, because the
example of someone who seeks God every
morning speaks louder than 1000 pieces of
advice, it transforms homes, it transforms
environments, and that transformation doesn't
need shouting or speeches, it only
needs consistency, sincerity, and faith. You
can be that instrument, that light in
your home, in your work, in your group. It
all starts when you decide to put
God first. It doesn't matter if you failed
before, it doesn't matter if you tried and
gave up, today is a new day. Today you can
start again. And if you decide to do it
with God, then it's not just a
new day, it's a new beginning. Part
seven. When God comes first,
fear loses its power. One of the
greatest enemies we face every
day is not outside, it's inside.
Fear, fear of the future, fear of
failure, fear that something will go wrong,
fear that we are not enough. And the
most dangerous thing about fear is that it
disguises itself. Sometimes it presents as
anxiety, sometimes as doubt, other times
as excessive control, as
mistrust, as insomnia, as that
feeling that everything can fall apart
at any moment. But there is an
effective way to break the power of fear:
put God first. Because when you
do that, when you give God your
first thought, your first word,
your first moment, what you are doing
spiritually is surrendering
control to Him. And when you let go of control,
fear also breaks down. Because you are no longer
alone, because you no longer need to
solve everything yourself, because you understand that
no matter what comes, you are supported
by someone bigger than the problem.
In Psalm chapter 56 verse 3,
David wrote, "When I am afraid, I put my
trust in you." It doesn't say that fear won't
come, it says that when it does, the
answer is to trust. And that confidence doesn't
appear out of nowhere. It is cultivated every
morning when you meet with God.
That's where he strengthens your spirit,
where he reminds you who you are, where he
tells you, "Do not fear, I am with you." And
that promise appears again and again in the
Bible. Isaiah, chapter 41, verse
10, says it directly. Do not be afraid,
for I am with you. Do not lose heart,
for I am your God who strengthens you. I will
always help you. I will always
uphold you with my righteous right hand.
righteous right hand.
What a powerful word. And it's not just
for reading, it's for believing, for
praying it in the morning, for repeating it
until it's engraved on your soul. When
you do that, when you fill your mind with
promises instead of news, when you
feed your heart with faith instead of
fear, then fear loses its power. It
no longer dominates you, it no longer directs your
decisions, it no longer paralyzes you, because you
know that you started the day holding
God's hand and that changes your mood,
your attitude, even the way you
speak and the way you look at life. There are days when
fear will try to enter unannounced
. Sometimes it comes in through an
unexpected call, bad news, or a
thought you can't control.
But if that day you have already spoken to God
in the morning, if you have already sown faith, if you have already
surrendered the day to Him, then there is no
fear that can remain living in your
heart. You may feel it for a
moment, but it doesn't take root, because your
root is already in another land, in
solid ground, in eternal land.
And that not only blesses you, it also
blesses those who are close to you.
Because when you don't live from
fear, but from faith, you inspire, you give
calm in the midst of chaos, you give advice without
judgment, you give peace without pressure. And all of that
comes from a single daily decision:
to seek God first. You don't need to
make it perfect, you just need to make it
sincere. A prayer, a psalm, a
verse, a worship song,
something that connects you with heaven before
facing earth. Because what
you do in secret, God rewards
openly. And if you sow faith in the
unseen, you will reap strength when
everything is in flux. So if you're tired
of living in fear, start this
habit. Seek God as soon as you open your
eyes. Give it to him the day before
fear tries to steal it from you. Fill your
spirit with truth before
lies seep in. And above all,
remember it every morning.
You are not alone, you never have
been. Part eight. The morning is the
altar where your intimacy
with God is built. One of the most valuable things
you can cultivate each day is not your
schedule, your career, or your
to-do list. It is your intimacy with God. And the
morning is the most sacred time to
build it. Because when the world
is still silent, when there are no
distractions, when there are no
messages, no news, no
conversations, that is when your soul
is most open, that is when your
heart is most receptive, that is where
if you stop for a moment, you can feel
the voice of the Spirit more clearly.
God does not want you to follow him out of
obligation. He seeks communion. Look for
children, not employees. Seek a relationship,
not just obedience. And that relationship isn't
built hastily or out of obligation; it's
built in intimacy, in the
everyday, in that moment when
you decide to turn off everything on the outside to
ignite your heart on the inside. That is
your personal altar, and it doesn't need to be
big, elegant, or long; it just
needs to be real. Look at what
Psalm chapter 91 verses 1 and 2 says. He
who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide
in the shadow of the
Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "
My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I
trust." To live, not to visit, that is the
key. It's not about talking to God
only when you need something. It's about
making it your room, your
daily refuge, your first thought every
morning. Because when you make it part of
your most basic routine, it becomes your
most consistent response. Intimacy is not
achieved by chance, it is cultivated with
intention and that starts in the morning.
When you sit with your Bible or
simply close your eyes and talk
to Him as you would to a friend, when you let
your soul breathe in His presence
before facing the day. That moment,
that encounter, that intimate dialogue is worth
more than 1000 activities done without
direction, because what happens in those
minutes translates into wisdom,
comfort, direction, and
discernment for the rest of the day.
And also, intimacy with God
transforms you without you even realizing it.
You may think that nothing changes, but one
day in the middle of a difficult situation
you react with peace and you are
surprised. Another day someone
asks you, "Why are you so calm?" and you
don't have a logical explanation. And that's
when you understand. It's because of those
morning meetings. It's because of that time
you spend with him every day, even though nobody
sees him, even though he seems small. For
he who dwells in His presence walks in
His power. And the most beautiful thing is that God
never gets tired of you. He never says, "You
come to me again with your burdens." On the
contrary, he waits for that moment, because
that moment is where he can shape your
character, heal your wounds, and strengthen
your decisions. That's where he can
give you a word that maybe no one else would
tell you, but that's exactly what
you need to hear. Just as a
human relationship is strengthened by
presence, time, listening, and sincerity,
the same is true for your relationship with
God. He already knows you, but you will get to
know him better as you spend more time
with him. And that begins when you decide to
build an altar every morning, not of
stones or incense, but of love, of
surrender, of gratitude. An altar where
the world is not the priority, but His voice,
where your soul can say, "Here I am,
Father, begin my day." It is
not the quantity of time that
defines intimacy, it is the quality of the
heart. An honest prayer, a
reading that touches you, a song that
connects you, can be more powerful than
1000 words repeated without conviction.
Therefore, every morning make your
bedroom, your living room, your kitchen, or
even your way to work, your altar,
because God does not look at the place, He looks at the
heart that truly seeks Him. Part
nine. Daily consistency opens
doors that anxiety cannot touch.
One of the greatest blessings that
comes when you decide to put God
first each morning is not in the
immediate, but in the constant. Because
many times we are used to
looking for quick results, we want to
feel something immediately, see
instant changes, receive answers at the
moment. But God works in processes,
not in impulses. He shapes your life like a
potter shapes clay. with time, with
repetition, with care. And that's where
consistency comes in, because what
transforms is not a
spectacular prayer once in a while, but a
daily, sincere, constant search. The
true blessing lies in continuing to
seek Him, even when you feel nothing,
in continuing to get up to pray, even
when you don't see signs, in continuing to
open the Bible, even if you don't understand
everything, because that perseverance is
forming something in your spirit that goes
beyond the visible. Look at what
Galatians says, chapter 6, verse 9. Let us not become
weary in doing good, for in
due season we will grow blind if we do not
give up. That timing is key. It's not
your time. It's not what you
expected. It is the perfect time that
only God knows. And until that moment
arrives, your part is not to give up, to keep
sowing, to keep seeking, to keep
honoring God with the first thing of your
day. Anxiety wants you to live in a
hurry, to think that nothing is working if you don't see results right away, and
that if you do
n't feel excitement, then God isn't
listening to you. But that's a lie, because there are
doors that only open with perseverance.
perseverance.
There are promises that can only be fulfilled when
you decide to seek God, even if the environment
doesn't change, because sometimes what He
wants to change first is your inner self, and
that takes time and requires perseverance. And
the good news is that when you
decide to seek Him every morning, no
matter how you feel, you are
demonstrating mature faith. You are
saying with your actions, "Lord, I
trust in you, not because of what I feel, but
because of what I know." And that carries
immense weight in heaven, because those who walk
by faith and not by sight are the ones who
inherit promises. Furthermore, every day
you put God first is a
spiritual declaration of trust. You are saying,
before money, before work, before
the news, before my schedule, you. And that
produces an emotional stability that not even
the best therapy can create because you
are anchoring your soul in something eternal. And
when you anchor your life in eternity, the
temporal ceases to govern you. There are many
people who live reactively; that is,
their mood depends on what happens. If everything is
going well, they are fine. If something goes wrong,
everything collapses. But those who seek
God every morning learn to live from
the root, not from the branches. And that is why they
don't fall with every wind, because
their strength is not in circumstances,
but in the presence of God that
strengthens them from within. And over time, what
seemed like a simple habit
becomes in a source of
spiritual power. Because you no longer need
the day to be perfect to have peace. You
no longer depend on people for
joy. You no longer need to control
everything to feel secure, because you know
that God goes before you, and that
changes everything. So don't underestimate what
you do each morning. Don't think it's
insignificant. Don't believe it's useless, because what you
are doing in secret, God
is using to open doors, to
prepare you, to strengthen you. And when His
time, which the
Word speaks of, arrives, you will understand that
every morning you put Him first was worth it, even
without seeing anything, even without feeling everything,
but trusting with all your heart.
Part 10. The power of starting the day with
gratitude and not with complaint. One of the
most noticeable changes that occur when
you decide to put God first in your
morning is that your heart begins to
train itself in gratitude. Because when
you begin the day in communion with Him, you
no longer focus first on what you
lack, but on what you already have. You no longer
think first about what went wrong. not in the bad things of
yesterday, but in the mercy that was
renewed today. And that, although it seems simple,
completely transforms your
emotional, spiritual, and even physical approach.
Complaining wears down the soul. It's like a
leak that weakens the structure from
within. And the most dangerous thing about complaining
is that it disguises itself. Sometimes it's not a
direct complaint, sometimes it's a sigh,
a comparison, a
silent thought like, "Why me? Why
this? Why again?" And without realizing it
, we start the day draining
energy on what we cannot change, instead
of placing our hope in what
God can do. But when you get
up and, before thinking about what
worries you, you say "thank you," then you
are activating something spiritual. You
are choosing to see with the eyes of
faith. You are choosing to remember that you are still
breathing, that God is still on his throne,
that you have a new opportunity to
see miracles, even though they haven't
arrived yet. In Psalm 103,
verses 2-5, David declares,
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, And don't
forget any of its benefits. He is the one who
forgives all your sins, the one
who heals all your diseases, the one who
redeems your life from the pit, the one who
crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, the one
who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is
renewed like the eagle's.
That is the mindset that transforms, not
forgetting its benefits, because the soul
tends to forget, to focus on what
hurts, on what didn't arrive, on what is
missing. But when you train your soul
to give thanks, you are reminding it that
you have a living, present, and faithful God. And
that gratitude not only changes your mood, it
also changes your prayer. Because when you
pray with gratitude, you are no longer just
asking, you are trusting. You no longer speak
from despair, but from
certainty. You no longer tell God how big
your problem is. You tell your
problem how great your God is. And that
lifts your spirit, that gives you peace.
Furthermore, gratitude makes you more sensitive
to the small details where God
manifests himself. When you are grateful,
you notice a child's smile, a bird's song
, the blessing of having food, the
opportunity to work, the strength to
keep fighting. Things that many
overlook, you begin to see as
gifts and that fills you with joy, even
in the midst of trials. And here's something
powerful. When the enemy wants to
ruin your day, the first thing he
will try to do is steal your gratitude.
Because if it makes you start complaining, it
disconnects you from joy, fills you with
negativity, and predisposes you to see the bad
in everything. But if you get up and say,
"Thank you, God, for this day, for this
new opportunity, for your presence, for
your love, for what I have and for what's to
come," then he's already lost that battle. That's why
battle. That's why
, by putting God first every
morning, you're not just seeking him,
you're restoring your focus. You're
training your heart to see with
eternal eyes. You're rising up on
gratitude, not on complaining. And that, day
after day, builds within you
a strength that cannot be broken by
external factors. Remember, every morning you have
two choices: complain about what's missing,
or be grateful for what you have. And when
you choose to be grateful, you're giving
God permission to do more. Because a
grateful heart is a fertile heart where he
