yesterday some buildings have been
damaged around 100,000 people last night
were left without power so they're
hoping to be reconnected and all of the

until at least lunchtime and that's
because of the rubbish that was blown

today first in the US Donald Trump took
over the role of president for the
second time he took the oath of office
during his inauguration which is a
special ceremony when a president is
sworn in his friends and family were
there as well as former President Joe
Biden for the first time in 40 years the
ceremony was held indoors due to the
freezing weather ever but supporters
still Brave the cold to witness Mr Trump
becoming the 47th president well one of
the first things on President Trump's
to-do list was to work out what to do
about Tik Tok last year politicians in
the US passed a law ordering the social
media apps Chinese owners to sell it to
a US company or face a ban over worries
that users data could be given to the
country that ban came into force on
Sunday and the apps owners responded by
turning it off completely so it stopped
working in the US now it's back on after
Mr Trump gave the company a 75-day
extension which he said would give Tik
Tok more time to find a US partner
finally the world's largest iceberg
which is twice the size of greater
London is on the move from Antarctica
it's heading for the remote British
island of South Georgia officially
called a23a it also happens to be one of
the world's oldest icebergs it's been
drifting since it broke away from
Antarctica in 1986 and experts are
worried it could block Coes on South
Georgia where King Penguins and seals go
to feed that's it consider yourself in the
the
know that's all from me and the team for
now but you can catch me over on bbc2
with your next update I'll see you soon bye-bye
bye-bye [Music]
