Tonight we're coming to Exodus chapter
3. We've gone through Exodus chapter 1.
Chapter 1 is where the children of
Israel wanted to settle down. They
wanted to settle down because everything
was comfortable for them. And because of
that comfort, they were to forget the
promised land. Then affliction arose.
And the affliction arose because he knew
Pharaoh came up that did not affirm, did
not acknowledge, did not know Joseph.
And because of that, oppression came
upon them. affliction came upon the
children of Israel in Egypt. That
affliction and the ministry, the
ministry of that affliction was to jolt
them, turn them around away from
settling in the land of Egypt. So that
their hearts, their minds will now
desire the pleasant land, the promised
land that the Lord had promised them
through Abraham. Then we came to chapter
two. In chapter two, we understand that
Moses was born. And when Moses was born
was born under the edict that every boy,
every manchild that was born, the
children of Egypt will take those babies
and cast them into the river. And at
such a time, the father, the mother,
they they came together, they got
married and eventually Moses was born.
You know the story. They kept him for
about 3 months and after when they
couldn't keep him again by faith the
parents of Moses took him and he took
him in an ark that they made and put on
the river side and the Pharaoh's
daughter came to the side there to clean
up and wash herself and saw that ark and
said go pick that up. He picked that up
and he picked up Moses the baby and he
cried and that touched the heart of
Pharaoh's daughter. And Miriam quickly
came out and said, "Can I go and call a
nurse to nurse the child for you?" And
she consented and Miriam took Miriam
went and brought the mother of Moses and
he gave that child to the mother to take
care of this child for me for Pharaoh's
daughter. And she was paid for even
doing that. And he was taught and he
knew that he was not an Egyptian. He
knew that he was an Israelite. And the
Lord began to minister to him. He would
deliver the children of Israel out of
the bondage of Egypt. But you know,
revealing that to you doesn't mean that
the time has come. He didn't wait for
the time of God. He went ahead of God.
And there were two people struggling and
fighting were in conflict. An Egyptian
and an Israelite. And when Moses looked
this way and that way and he didn't see
anybody, he caught that Egyptian and
killed him and buried him in the sand.
He was thinking that the revelation he
had all those Israelites also had that
he was to deliver the children of Israel
out of bondage, out of their captivity.
But they didn't understand. They didn't
know that. The second day he came and he
saw two Israelites fighting and he said,
"You are brethren. Why are you
fighting?" The other one that was strong
replied him, "What's your business here?
Who makes you a ruler over us? You want
to kill me like you killed that Egyptian
yesterday." And because of that, he
fled. We learn a lesson from that. You
might know the will of God. You might
know, you might have the calling of God,
but you wait patiently so that at the
time of God that he wants to fulfill his
will, he will do it. There are people
that know the will of God in marriage.
But they do not wait patiently for God
and they do not wait for the time of
God. They go ahead of God. The people
that know about the will of God for
their calling for their ministry again
they do not wait for the time of God.
They go ahead of God. Any time like that
like Moses went ahead of God. Anyone
that goes ahead of God like that and
they take laws into their hand. Number
one they show that they do not need God.
In the case of Moses, he had been taught
about the wisdom of Egypt. He had been
taught of all the learning. He was
mighty indeed some mighty in words. And
so he thought the natural mind and the
training, the college training was
enough. He was to go and just deliver
the children of Israel. If God had
allowed that, the glory would have gone
to him and gone to the Egyptian training
that he had. But God said, "I will not
share my glory with any man." And so we
should learn that in the work of God, we
don't depend on our knowledge, depend on
our wisdom, and depend on whatever
training we had because that cannot save
a soul. Cannot bring a sinner out of
darkness into the light. Human effort
will fail. Human learning will fail.
human ability will fail when it comes to
doing the work of God. But because of
that, Moses fled. And when Moses fled,
he was 40 years in the desert in Median.
The first 40 years he spent in Egypt
learning, studying all the things that
the Egyptians offered. And then the next
40 years is he spent in the desert. He
spent in Midian. Now he had given it up.
And when he thought when he thought he
was everything, he could do everything
in his strength, in his power. The Lord
said no and rejected him. His method was
not right. His attitude was not right.
And his moving on before God was not
right. But now after the 40 years in the
backside of the desert, after 40 years
in the desert, now is giving up
everything. Now that he knew that he was
nothing and God is the almighty, the one
that knows everything and is the one
that is going to deliver his people. He
may use Moses, may use another person,
but he ultimately is the deliverer. Now
that Moses knew that the call of God
came. That's why we come now to chapter
3 of Exodus. Divine revelation and
calling at the burning bush divine
revelation. Here is where God revealed
himself the first 40 years. This divine
revelation had not come. The second 40
years the divine revelation had not
come. But now that Moses was nothing, I
am nothing. I can do nothing by myself.
Only by his grace only by his calling
only by his support can I do whatever I
do in the kingdom. That's when now the
revelation and the calling came. Look at
Exodus chapter 3. I'm reading from verse
one. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro,
his father-in-law,
the priest of Midian, and he led the
flock to the backside of the desert and
came to the mountain of God, even to
look at verse two. In verse two, it
says, "And the angel of the Lord
appeared unto him in a flame of fire out
of the midst of a bush, and he looked,
and behold, the bush burnt with fire,
and the bush was not consumed." room.
God was going to talk to him, but he saw
something extraordinary,
something he had never seen and
something that was not natural in the
desert. You understand? When a bush is
burning, it will really burn down
completely and even spread the
wilderness fire, the desert fire so that
all the other shrubs, everything will be
burnt. But the surprising thing here and
Moses had been here almost 40 years now.
He knew the desert, he knew the
wilderness and he knew that if any bush
was burning, it will burn completely. It
surprised him that the bush was burning
in a flame of fire and yet there was no
cilagration that consumed that bush. And
so he turned aside to see it was then
the divine revelation comes to him.
There are times you have to stop
everything you're doing because God is
showing you something. And because he's
showing you, you turn around, you stop
every other thing. This strange sight,
this wonderful sight, this never known
before sight, I will turn around and
see. And it is at that time when you
stop everything coming from the past you
stop every other thing you say I will
listen I will hear I will watch I will
see what's happening here and then God
is able to talk to man but when we're in
rush rush rush move go and we're going
and we never stop anything and we never
turn turn around to See, many times we
miss the revelation of God and we miss
the word of God that he speaks unto us.
Divine revelation and calling at the
burning bush. We're looking at three
things here. Number one, the spiritual
significance of the burning bush. What
does it mean that the bush was burning
and he could and the thing was not
consumed? What's the significance of
that to the children of Israel? What's
the significance of that to Moses that
God raised up and he used him to be a
deliverer for the children of Israel?
Look at number two. Number two is the
sublime sovereignty of the blessed
bullwark. The bullwark that protected
and preserved the children of Israel.
and is the blessed one that even though
they were in the burning bush, yet God
preserved them, God protected them
throughout all those years of affliction
in the land of Egypt. Number two, the
sublime the sublime
sovereignty of the blessed Boark. We're
looking at number three. Number three is
the supreme sender. The one that sends.
Not Pharaoh sending him. Not he himself
just going forth of his own will sending
himself. But the God of heaven, the
Almighty that sent him, the supreme
sender of the burden bearer. He was sent
to bear the burden of the children of
Israel and to carry them. so to say I
want a bondage to the promised land and
he knew he heard the sending forth as a
burden bearer that's what we're looking
at today look at number one now number
one is the spiritual significance of the
burning bush in Exodus chapter 3 we're
reading we've read verses 1 and two look
at verse three here in verse three says,
"And Moses said, I will now turn aside
and see this great sight, a great sight
indeed, why the bush is not burnt, why
the bush is not consumed." Look at verse
four. In verse four, and when the Lord
saw that he turned aside to see, you
know, the Lord watches all our moves. He
watches all our action. He watches when
we are paying attention. He watches when
he's showing us something and we say,
"I'm going to look at this. I'm going to
concentrate on this. I want to see the
meaning of this." God saw that. And when
God saw that, he turned aside to see God
called unto him out of the midst of the
bush and said, "Moses, Moses." And he
said, "Here am I." Look at verse 5. In
verse five, and he said, "Draw not nice
tether. Put off thy shoes from of thy
feet, for the place whereon thou standeth
standeth
is holy ground." Verse six. In verse
six, moreover he said, I am the God of
thy father, the God of Abraham, and the
God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And
Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to
look upon God. What's the significance
of that? What do we learn from that?
That there was this bush burning and was
not consumed. Look at three things.
Number one, number one, the assembly of
the Lord as the burning bush. Number
two, number two, the angel of the Lord
in the burning bush. Number three.
Number three is the announcement of the
Lord at the burning bush. Number one.
Number one, the assembly, the nation of
the Lord, the people of God as the
burning bush. We're looking at um
Deuteronomy chapter 4, reading from
verse 20. Deuteronomy chapter 4 verse
20. We're looking at the meaning, the
significance, and the real portrait of
that bush burning, but not consumed.
Deuteronomy 4:20, but the Lord has taken
you and brought you forth out of the
iron furnace. The children of Israel
were in the iron furnace and a furnace
burning with fire even out of Egypt to
be unto him a people of inheritance as
ye are this day. What the meaning then?
The meaning is this that the children of
Israel as a nation under affliction. The
affliction was the fire or the burning.
the nation of Israel under oppression,
under affliction, in a furnace of fire.
Yet the more the affliction grew, the
more they became strong, stronger and
stronger, mightier and mightier. Even in
the furnace of affliction and the bush
was not, you know, being burnt, it was
becoming more fresh even the fire was
burning. That's what we're told in
Isaiah chapter 48. Isaiah 48, I'm
reading from verse 10. Behold, I've
refined thee, but not what silver I have
chosen thee in the furnace of
affliction. That's the meaning. The
burning bush that was not consumed. God
said, you know where I found you? You
are in Egypt. You're under bondage.
You're under the affliction of fire and
yet I choose you in the furnace of
affliction. Look at verse 11. In verse
11, for my own sake, even for my own
sake will I do it for now should for how
should my name be polluted. and I will
not give my glory unto another. Pharaoh
had threatened. He was going to uh kill
all the male children and was going to
join all the females to the men of Egypt
so that Israel will be forgotten. If
that could happen, that will mean that
Pharaoh was greater than God. His policy
was greater than the prophecy and the
promise of God. But God said, "No, I'll
not give my glory unto another." Look at
verse 12. In verse 12, hacking unto me,
oh Jacob and Israel, my called. I am he.
I am the first. I also am the last.
We're coming to number two here. Number two,
two,
the angel of the Lord in the burning
bush actually is the presence of the
Lord. through that angel of the Lord.
When you look at the Old Testament, the
angel of the Lord, the angel of the
Lord, this in particular refers to Jesus
Christ before he came to the world is
the pre-incarnation
appearance of Christ that was with them.
And that's the angel of the Lord. We
read Exodus 3 reading from verse 2 to
verse 6. Isaiah now chapter 63 and we're
reading from verse 9. Isaiah chapter 63
verse 9 it says in all their affliction
he was afflicted in all the affliction
of the children of Israel God himself
and the angel of his presence saved them
in the presence of the Lord depicted by
that angel of the Lord. That's what
saved them. That's what preserved them.
That's what protected them. It say the
angel of his presence saved them in his
love and in his pity he redeemed them
and he b them and carried them all the
days of old. All the days of old. It was
the preservation of the Lord. It was the
protection of the Lord that silenced the
enemy and that stopped the violence of
the fire and the fire the furnace could
not consume them just like he did for
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego that
they were thrown into the furnace. And
yet there was no sign of the fire
burning them coming upon them. Daniel
chapter 3, we're reading from verse 24.
Daniel 3:4.
Then Nebuchadnezzar
the king was astonished astonished and
he rose up in haste and spake and said
unto his counselors, "Did not we cast
out castly men bound into the midst of
the fire?" They answered and said unto
the king, "True, O king, Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, only three people
that were cast into the fire." In the
next verses say, but lo, behold, I see
four men loosed. All the chains had
burnt off. All the chains the people of
the world and the spiritual Egypt they
try to tie you with. All their curse
will break from your life.
>> And it says, I see four men lose. And it
says the fourth one is like the son of
God. is always there, always present
with us. That's why he said, "All power
in heaven and on earth is given unto
me." He said, "Go ye therefore into all
the world and teaching them. You baptize
them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you." And then he says,
"Lo, I am with you always, even to the
end of the world, to the end of the age,
is always there with us." And if
confirmed and said, "I see the fourth
one is like the appearance of the son of
God." Look at verse 28. In verse 28, it
tells us it says, "Then Nebuchadnezzar
spake and said, "Blessed, be the God of
Shedrach, Mach, and Abednego, who has
sent his angel." Have you noticed
something there? In verse 24, he said,
in verse 25, I see the fourth one, the
appearance of the son of God. In verse
28, he said, "I he has sent his angel,
the angel of the Lord, the son of God is
Christ. He appeared in the Old
Testament." It says he has sent his
angel and delivered his servants that
trusted in him and had changed the
king's word and yielded their bodies
that they might not serve nor worship
any god except their own god. They
yielded themselves. When you yield
yourself, you're not fighting against
the affliction. You're not fighting
against the persecution. You're not
fighting against whatever it is. You
say, "Here I stand." And this is what
the Lord has declared and what he has
commanded and you yield to that. That's
how affliction will not burn you up.
>> Persecution will not burn you up. and
the furnace of Pharaoh and the furnace
of anyone will not burn you up because
they yielded their bodies, they yielded
their lives because they will worship
God and God alone is teaching us a
lesson that even though you might be the
burning bush and the fire is there and
the affliction is there and the
persecution is there and all the
contradictions of Pharaoh and the
chariots of Pharaoh, they are there yet
to stand. You stand your ground. You're
born again. You have to stand. You're
sanctified. You have to stand. You're
serving the Lord the way he has ordained
your heart to stand and you're carrying
on the gospel and Jesus preach it
everywhere. Everything I've commanded
you is when you stand like that and you
yield your very body even to the
suffering. That's when he the angel of
the Lord will be with you in that
burning bush. We're looking at number
three. Number three, we're looking at
the announcement of the Lord at the
burning bush. The announcement of the
Lord at the burning bush. Exodus 3:6. In
Exodus 3:6, moreover, he said, "I am the
God of thy father, the God of Abraham,
the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob." Why
did God say that? He had given promise
to Abraham. And he said, "Even though
Abraham is gone, my promise still
remains." And he had transferred the
promise to Isaac. And Isaac was dead.
Even though Isaac was dead, God is not
dead. God is still alive. And his
promise is still alive. He had also
given the promise to Jacob, Israel. Even
though Jacob had passed on, yet the
promise of God was still there as firm
at the rock of ages as firm as the Lord
himself. that as long as the Lord is
still alive, the God of Abraham, the God
of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, his
promise is still alive. That's why he
told Moses and he said, "I am the God of
Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of
Jacob." And Moses hid his face. You see
if you really if you really see or have
the revelation of God you'll hide your
face you will not you know be so
flippant so familiar and then come and
tell us you know I saw God I shook hands
for God that man has not seen God when
Isaiah saw the glory of the Lord and he
saw those angels and the art six wings
wings. With two wings they covered their
face and with two wings they covered
their feet and with two wings they were
flying. It said they were saying holy,
holy, holy. He saw the greatness of God
and he saw his own littleness and he
said, "Wo is me." When people say they
see God, they see God, they see God. God
is eternal. God is mighty. And they say
they even see God and he did this with
God and he did that with God. That
that's not true. It says he hid his face
because he was afraid to look on God.
And that's not just Old Testament to
come to Revelation chapter one. And I
turned I heard the voice that spoke with
me and it was like thunder like rushing
mighty ocean. And then when I looked I
saw he saw Jesus. And when he saw Jesus
in his glory, he fell down as dead. And
then the Lord touched him and raised him
up. When we see the revelation of God,
the glory of God, it makes us to see our
littleness, our nothingness, then we're
able to exalt God. Now, the announcement
of the Lord at the burning bush. Malachi
chapter 3. I'm looking at verse 6. In
Malachi 3:6, for I am the Lord, I change
not. Therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not
consumed. You sons of Jacob. And many
empires tried to kill, destroy, afflict,
wipe out the children of Israel. The
empire of Egypt, the empire of the
Assyrians, the empire of the Babylonians
and the empire of uh the Midasian
Empire and the Grecian. All of them they
tried but because of the announcement I
am God I change not. That's why they
were not consumed. We're looking at uh
point number two. Now point number two
the sublime sovereignty of the blessed
Bwak. It is from Exodus chapter 3 verse
7 to verse 15. Three things we're
looking at here. Number one, the
promised deliverance of Israel from
bitter bondage. The bondage was bitter.
Why did God allow that? I explained to
you already. Those children of Israel,
they were settlers in Egypt. Because
when Joseph was alive and Jacob came in
with all his children and all the
foundation members of the nation of
Israel, Pharaoh of that time gave them
the best in the land. And because they
are the best in the land, they settled
down. They said, "Where is where are we
going? Why are we thinking of another
land?" And so they settled there. And
because they were settlers in the
foreign land, they found everything
comfortable, everything convenient.
That's why the affliction came. But now
the promise of God was going to be
fulfilled. The promised deliverance of
Israel from the bitter bondage. Number
two. Number two is the ptor deliverer of
Israel from the blinding bondage. The
bondage made them blind. It's still like
that today. Sometimes affliction,
persecution, bondage makes us blind to
the promise of God. We sink of Pharaoh
more than we're sick of the promise of
God. We sink of his affliction more than
we think of the announcement of the
Lord. We think of all those difficulties
and challenges more than we think of the
prophecy of the word and the promise of
the word because the affliction has the
tendency of blinding us. And the bondage
then blinds the people to the reality of
who God is. The reality of what God said
he will do. the reality of the
fulfillment and the performance of the
promise of God, the ptor deliverer of
Israel from the blinding bondage. Look
at number three. Number three is the preexistent
preexistent
potentiate high in power great in glory
and nothing impossible for him is preexisted
preexisted
before the world was is always been
there is the eternal God and he is
potented delivering Israel from the
breaking bondage you know bondage breaks
the back. If you had a backbone and you
were standing standing firm and standing
steadfast, when affliction comes, it
breaks the backbone that you're not able
to stand straight again. All the
conviction you had, all the promises you
had made to the Lord and all the firm
consecration you had made, the bondage
has a way of breaking the man. of the
man before bondage comes before
persecution comes and before the
troubles of the world comes he says here
I stand and then the people who hear
that here you stand you'll not stand
there for long and they bring bondage
breaks the backbone of that man that it
begins now to cringe it begins to
compromise because that the very purpose
of the people that bring the bondage
age. They wanted to break his back. But
there is a potentiate. There is a power.
There is the almighty God that
preexisted before Pharaoh, before
Nebuchadnezzar, before Herod, before
anyone. And he delivers his people from
the breaking bondage. We're looking at
number one. Number one is the promised
deliverance of Israel from
bitter bondage. From bitter bondage.
We're looking at Exodus chapter 3. I'm
reading from verse 7. Exodus chapter 3.
We're looking at verse 7. The And the
Lord said, I have surely seen the
affliction of my people. You know
sometimes when you have affliction, you
begin to doubt your salvation. Am I
still a child of God? If I'm a child of
God, why is this happening? Am I really
a prophet of God? If I'm a prophet of
God, why is this happening? Am I a
peculiarly chosen man of God? If I'm a
peculiarly chosen man of God, why is
this happening? It's happening so that
you'll get out of that level. You'll get
to the next level.
>> I'm talking to somebody there today.
Your affliction, the bondage, the
whatever the challenge will get you to
the next level in Jesus name.
>> If you didn't go through that, how would
you know that bitter bondage cannot
separate you from Christ? How would you
have known that the blinding bondage
cannot separate you from the love of
God? How would you have known that the
breaking bondage could not separate you
from the love of God? The Lord allowed
that not to doubt your salvation. Not to
doubt your being a bonafide member of
the body of Christ. Not to doubt that
you are a disciple. You're a follower of
Christ. But to show you that bondage or
not bondage, you're getting to the
promised land. And it tells us here, it
says, "And the Lord said, I have surely
seen the affliction of my people which
are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry
by reason of their task masters. For I
know their sorrows. Give me a good amen there.
there.
>> I've heard their cry. Now, we need to
understand that word cry.
Weeping or crying. Yes. When you are in
bondage, but now I am delivered. Praise
the Lord.
Say it now. I am delivered.
>> I am delivered. Praise the Lord.
The crying the crying was when the
bondage was on
after the bondage is broken. Did they
continue to cry?
Tell me.
>> Look at them in chapter 13. They are not
crying anymore. When I see the blood, I
will pass over you. Look at chapter 14.
When he went through the Red Sea and he
came to this other side, were they
crying or singing? They were singing.
And so, a children of God should not,
you know, I cry, I cry. New year, no
crying this year.
Bondage is taking away. It's giving us
joy. Is giving us peace. The joy like a river.
river.
The peace like a fountain
>> and the faith like the rock that cannot
move. And when he has given us the love
and the peace and the joy and the faith,
we cry no more.
>> Say, I cry no more.
>> I cry no more.
>> You maybe you cried 10 years ago. Maybe
you cried 20 years ago. That thing was
there. That thing happened. That thing
happened. And because you didn't
understand, you looked at the bitter
bondage. You are not looking at the
promise of God. You are looking at the
blinding bondage. You're not looking at
the promise of God. You are looking at
the breaking bondage. You're not looking
at the promise of God. 20 years ago, 30
years ago, you cried. But now we have
come to this other side.
>> And I cry no more.
>> Maybe other people. Other people are
still crying. You know, in a
congregation, we're at different levels.
Some on this side of the cross, others
on this side of the cross. And you might
hear, you know, somebody crying, a
child. You might hear somebody crying is
persecuted. He's a new convert. And he
doesn't know his right yet. And he
doesn't know that Pharaoh does not have
the final say in his life like you know,
like I know.
Give me a good amen.
>> And so you may hear them crying. You
don't import their crying into your life
because now you are an overcomer. Amen.
>> It goes on to say, I've heard their cry,
that crowd of the pass by the reason of
their task masters, for I know their
sorrows. Look at verse 8. In verse 8,
and I am come down to deliver them out
of the hand of the Egyptians, and to
bring them up out of the land unto a
good land. We're getting there. and a
large unto a land flowing with milk and
onion unto the place of the Canaanites
and the Hivite and the Hittites and the
Amorites and the Perisites and the
Hivites and the Jebusite. Look at verse
9. In verse 9, it says, "Now, therefore,
behold, the cry of the children of
Israel is come up unto me, and I have
also seen the oppression wherewith the
Egyptians oppress them." We're looking
at um Psalm 34. We're reading from verse
18. Psalm 34 in reading from verse 18.
The Lord is near unto them that are of a
broken heart. You didn't say amen to
that one.
>> And savor such as be of a contrite
heart. He saves them. He delivers them.
Verse 19, it says, "Many are the
afflictions of the righteous, but the
Lord deliverth him
deliverth him out of
>> deliverth you."
>> You are delivered in Jesus name. Look at
number two. Number two is the ptor
deliverer of Israel from the blinding
bondage. I've explained already bondage,
affliction, persecution, conflict, opposition
opposition
tend to blindfold people that we don't
see how great our God is. We don't see
how mighty our God is because the
bondage blindfolds us. While looking at
Exodus 3:10, Exodus 3:10,
come now. talking to Moses the
deliverer. Come now therefore, and I
will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou
mayest bring forth my people, the
children of Israel, out of Egypt. Look
at verse 11. In verse 11, and Moses said
unto God, "Who am I? Who am I? Who am I
that I should go unto Pharaoh and that I
should bring forth the children of
Israel out of Egypt, the bondage I
blindfolded him and the confidence he
had 40 years earlier didn't have that
confidence anymore. the trust he had and
the assurance of his calling that he had
40 years earlier. He didn't have that
assurance of the calling anymore. He
thought at that time 40 years earlier
that the people will know the Lord has
raised him up to deliver the children of
Israel. But the children of Israel
inside bitter bondage could not listen
to any voice of any deliverer. And he
himself was so sure many years before
now blind to faith and blind to the
calling of God and blind to revelation
of the Lord. That's what bondage does. I
pray the blindness that bondage has
brought into any of our lives, the Lord
will clear them away in Jesus name.
You know when you are really when you
felt this is what I came to the world to
do. I will do this. I will do this. I
will do that. And then you got your
fingers burnt. You are running and then
you stumble. something happened and then
you said, "I'm sorry I was running so
fast. I'm sorry. I thought I'm a great
soul winner. I'm sorry. I thought I had
a gift. I was going to do this and
that." Your fingers are burnt and then
you're blindfolded.
You You see, ministry is not that easy.
And the race is not for the one that
runth. Even though I felt I'll be sweet,
sweet swift, but now I don't think I can
do it. Bondage, problem, affliction,
opposition, challenge has blindfolded
him. It happened to Moses like that. And
I pray all the things that cover our
sight, the Lord remove today in Jesus name.
name.
and what the Lord has called you for,
you will still do it in Jesus name.
>> And Moses said unto God, who am I that I
should go unto Verum and that I should
bring forth the children of Israel out
of Egypt. Look at verse 12. In verse 12,
and he said, certainly I will be your
sleep. The Lord will be with you.
>> It'll cancel all your fears. He remove
all your anxiety and all your worry, all
your fret. He'll take away in Jesus
name. Certainly, I will be with thee and
they shall be a token, a sign unto thee
that I have sent thee. I have sent thee.
I have sent thee.
>> And then it says, when thou
has brought forth
my people, the people out of Egypt, ye
shall serve God upon this mountain.
We will serve the Lord.
>> You will serve the Lord.
Look at chapter 6 reading from verse 12.
Exodus 6 reading from verse 12.
And Moses spake before the Lord saying,
"Behold, the children of Israel have not
hearkened unto me." He said, "God, you
said you are sending me. You said I will
deliver the children of Israel out of
Egypt." Okay, I've accepted and I've
run. I've come. I've spoken to them.
They are not listening.
Moses, please understand.
You saw the burning bush that will not
be consumed. They have not seen that.
You heard the audible voice of God. They
have not heard that. You saw the signs
that God gave in chapter 4. Throw your
rod down and your own rod that you have
held for 40 years, it became a serpent.
Pick it up again by the tail. It became
a rod again. They've not had that
personal experience. Put your hand in
your bosom. It became lepros. Put it
there again. It was totally clear of
leprosy. They've not had that personal
experience. Draw water. And when you
draw that water, throw it down, it will
become blood. They've not had that. Are
you surprised to you too? You are like
that. When God called and now you say,
"I've gone. I've told them." And the
children of Israel, they have not
hearkened unto me. How then? How then
shall Pharaoh hear me who am uncircumcised?
uncircumcised?
But you will do what God has called you
to do.
>> You will not fail
>> and the Lord will not fail you in Jesus name.
name.
>> Look at number three here. Number three
is the preexisting potentage, delivering
Israel from the breaking bondage. And
we're looking at Exodus chapter 3. As we
look at this, you know, don't just put
the word in your head, put it in your
heart. Compare your life with what we're
reading. Have you of recent gone through
bitter bondage? What did it do to you?
Didn't it weaken you? Didn't it make you
look back as if maybe I cannot? Yes, you
will. I said you will.
>> Have you have recent gone through some
things that look like bondage and you
couldn't sleep at night. You you are
like that. You sleep is good. You could
have slept but you are not thinking of
the promise of God. You are not thinking
of the power of God. You are not
thinking of the prophecy and the promise
of God. You are thinking of the problem,
the bondage. And so you are blindfolded.
You know when you read all these things,
then you realize unnecessarily
those children of Israel
the bondage to blindfold them or to
break their backbone. Your broken bones,
broken heart are mended tonight in Jesus name.
name.
>> Strong, strong in the mind, strong in
your soul. Strong in your spirit and
strong in your backbone in Jesus name.
Exorus chapter 3, we're reading from
verse 13. Exorus 3:13. And Moses said
unto God, "Behold,
when I come unto the children of Israel,
and shall say unto them, the God of your
fathers have sent me unto you, and they
shall say unto me, what is his name?
What shall I say unto them?" You know,
he was ready and messaging the problem
that he'll meet when he gets to the
children of Israel. When somebody is reluctant
reluctant
to go all the way and to do everything
God wants him to do, that's when those
questions arise. They imagine the
questions. They imagine the situation.
may imagine what will happen when I get
there and I say, "The God of your
fathers appear to me and he sent me
forth to come get you out of bondage
unto the pleasant land, unto the
promised land." They will ask me,
"What's his name? How do we know that
truly you are sent?" When questions
arise like that in your heart,
understand it may be your fear that you
are imagining a lot of things. When I
get there, they may say this, they may
say that. Look at verse 14. In verse 14,
and God said unto Moses, I am that I am.
You tell them, I'm the selfexistent
one. Tell them I'm the one that existed
but not created. From all eternity I am
today. I am in the future. I am because
God the selfexistent
potent is the one who is eternal
always there. There was never a time. He
wasn't there. I am that I am. He didn't
say I am what I am. Paul said that God
made him what he was and so he could say
I am what I am. But in the case of the
almighty in the case of the eternal one
in the case of the selfexisting one I am
that I am. And he said, "Thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I am
the eternal one hath sent me unto you."
Look at verse 15. In verse 15, and God
said, moreover
unto Moses, thus shall thou say unto the
children of Israel, the Lord God of your
fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob has sent me
unto you. This is my name forever. And
this is my memorial unto all generations.

We're coming to point number three now.
Point number three, the supreme sender
of the burden bearer. God is the supreme
sender and we fear the one who sent us.
We don't fear the people we are sent to.
We honor the one who sent us. We believe
the one who sent us. We adore the one
who sent us. We obey the one who sent
us. He knew the beginning at the
beginning. He knows the end. And the one
who knows the end from the beginning.
the Almighty, the one who has sent us.
We keep on looking unto him, the author
and the finisher of our faith. Look unto
me all ye the ends of the earth and be
ye saved and be ye strengthening and be
ye sanctified and be ye steadfast
because I am God and none else. Think
about the one who sent you. Moses should
think about the supreme sender who was
sending him as the burden bearer. Exodus

Exodus 3 verse 16. Go and gather the

them, "The Lord God of your fathers,"

that which is done to you, in Egypt.

the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites,

Moses, hear what the Lord has said. They
shall hack in to thy voice. Don't
contradict God. Don't allow the bondage
to deafen you. Open your ear. God said
and they will hack in unto you and when
you go because this is not your time the
people will hack into you. The sinners
will listen to you.

they will own Christ as their Lord and Savior in Jesus name. And thou shalt
