these companies when they do such
blatantly wrong things like attacking
the fans aside from the fact that
hipster is a totally meaningless word in
2021 people are comparing this to
fortnite but sandra had cartoonish over
the top characters doing goofy flashy
dances at the punch of every button for
years now it was basically gta but with
homies dolls yes it had a cartoony look
to it but it's undeniable that this game
shares almost no resemblance to its
predecessors outside of the enemies you
fight the enemies in the game look more
like the old protagonist than the actual
protagonist and the lack of edgy humor
makes this game nothing alike to its
predecessors even saturday 3 had a dark
and gritty look to it which is entirely
missing from the reboot just because two
things are cartoony that doesn't mean
they're cartoony in the same way and
it's an extremely delusional argument to
make i don't think you're listening to
what a huge part the saints rogue
community is saying when it comes to the
backlash take a look at these the crew
they look badass look the part act like
the part then there's the reboot crew
they're out of place those first three
images look immensely corny in 2021
times change my man how the [ __ ] do they
look more corny to your eyes and the
reboot characters the reboot characters
are nothing unlike the gangsters aka the
whole premise of saints row they look
out a place in the gameplay trailer and
they look out a place in the franchise
the whole times change excuse doesn't
add up here because those reboot
characters are not good even for 2021
standards outside of saints row and they
look even worse thanks to them being
forced into a game with the saints row
name they look as if they're from q
force a show everyone already hates i'm
sorry you have to read through a
thousand hate comments social media
manager hope you're doing well you've
gotta love how ignorant some people are
instead of realizing that the social
media manager and the devs are actively
attacking anyone in the fan base
criticizing their game you're pulling
the classic poor developer and poor
social media manager card there is a
difference between criticizing the game
and attacking a game but for some reason
twitter almost always find a way to
think that the same thing people who say
the game looks like fortnite obviously
are blind and haven't played saints row
3. yeah they totally look similar like
come on the reboot's art decision looks
like fortnite watch dogs 2 and sunset
overdrive accidentally had a baby it
looks nothing alike to the rest of the
game even saints row three and even
saints row four for someone who's trying
to say that other people haven't played
saints row three i think you really need
to go back into that game and see how it
actually looks and the haters said the
game will flop yeah these guys just won
the award and when the game is out it's
going to be great ah yes they won two
awards from a game show that was given
out awards for games that haven't even
been released yet god what a truly
amazing one to be given but in all
seriousness it's incredibly obvious that
the reboot did not at all have the best
trailer because if you take two seconds
and look at it you can clearly see how
poorly it's been received i just
realized looking at the trailer this is
exactly what you saints row 2 fans
wanted it's going back to gangs instead
of celebrities and superheroes awareness
and reality you guys got exactly what
you wanted tell me you've never played
saints row 2 without telling me you've
never played sage road 2. how you can
think watch dogs 2 sons that overdrives
on fortnite's accidental baby looks
remotely similar to saints row 2 is
beyond me all the people out here hating
the game but like let's face it how many
people hated arthur morgan in red dead
redemption 2 then played with him and
got attached good storytelling and story
writing can get you attached to any
character and i'm sure they'll pull it
off in the new saints row who the [ __ ]
hated are from morgan and red dead
redemption 2 before the game came out i
don't remember any outrage about that
and even still if only that were true
about the story but sadly it isn't
because the developers have already told
us the story premise and when it's worse
than the last of us twos by at least
seven million light years the game's
story will focus on the material
concepts of the young crew these
disaffected millennials turn to crime to
put food on the table fill apart the
community and pay off student loans [Music]
this is the epitome of how do you do
fellow kids when a game story premise is
so bad it makes me question if i was too
harsh on the last of us 2 story or not
there's a serious [ __ ] problem
everyone is so upset about the saints
row reboot saints row reboot is a reboot
not a remaster or remake if those kids
could read they'd be very upset if you
don't be using the sage road name you
can't make it completely different to
its predecessors and hide behind it
being a reboot a reboot is simply
restarting something not changing it in
its entirety you still keep key aspects
like edginess and the franchise is
historically gritty but funny and
gangsta aspects otherwise there isn't a
rebuild of that franchise it's just a
new product with the sainsbury's name
slammed onto it so you can nostalgia bay
people how about that it's almost as if
90 of the people complaining about the
trailer were just toxic vocal minority
or something damn bro look at that vocal
minority over double the dislikes on the
initial trailer almost all of the
trailers for the game have a below 50
like the dislike ratio and somehow
there's still people who think it's just
a vocal minority that doesn't like this
new approach screw anyone hated in the
game clearly y'all don't know what
reboot means same concept just new
characters new gangs new city new cars
new story because they finished getting
everyone else's new guns and new
gameplay mechanics everything about this
game is amazing thank you but the
problem is that it isn't the same
concept as the original series the edgy
humor is completely gone the grittiness
is gone another integral parts of the
franchise are gone the reboot excuse is
so laughably bad as well because games
like wolfenstein and call of duty modern
warfare have had reboots while still
retaining the core parts of the series
you know nothing extreme saints wrote
quite more than a bunch of college
students trying to pay off their student
loans stop kissing their ass these
characters are complete ass and you know
it laughing my [ __ ] ass off don't
hate because you ain't a true fan of the
series and no the characters look great
salty ass hater look just because your
family never loved you doesn't mean you
can't hate on a great series get a
better tv if the characters look that
bad to you the classic gatekeeping
excuse of if you don't like this game
then you're just not a true fan what a
brilliant way to win people over to your
side of the argument basis corporate
shilling and saying that someone's
mother doesn't love them as if that
would actually unironically offend
anyone one is such an overused
kindergarten level in seoul but i don't
know what else i'm expecting from
twitter of all places the characters are
out to shine not gonna lie that's one of
the reasons why there are so many
dislikes on the trailer the characters
are not [ __ ] have you ever played one
and two those character models were so
bad looking but i stuck through it and
beat them [ __ ] bully had shitty graphics
game looks amazing and characters look
great it's almost like those games came
out in 2006 and 2008 the saints row
reboots coming out in 2022 and so will
be held to 2022 standards not 2006 and
2008 standards they're giving hate on
the game that is not even out yet and in
which there is a little information of
it shame on you you don't like it just
don't buy the game it's simple enjoy the
games instead of saying that only saints
row and two are the best grow up kids
well i think it's safe to say a hell of
a lot of people won't buy the game
unless there's a dramatic change in
direction why this person thinks there's
little information about the game
available is beyond me as well we've
seen game plan we know the storyline
what more information is that needed
before forming an opinion on a product
pretty sure seeing gameplay knowing the
story of the two biggest factors of
whether or not someone will buy a
story-driven game i will support
volition to the end because i played all
the saints row games i am an og fan but
i still like the concept people say that
it's fortnite but saints row the third
four and agents of mayhem have cartoony
graphics but all of these games were
amazing and nothing related to fortnite
the perfect example of a corporate show
right here ladies and gentlemen there's
a difference between the cartoony and
yet gritty look of the og games compared
to the oversaturated look of fortnite
and now the saints row reboot you can
have a cartoony outside without making
the game look almost identical to
fortnite to the point where people
genuinely cannot tell the difference
between fortnite and it if you slap the
new fortnight season's text onto its
artwork that is a problem and it's very
clear that this is just a cash grab
trying to lure in young people by being
down with the kids whilst at the same
time poorly trying to lure in old fans
with nostalgia base by slapping the
sagro name onto it even though from what
we've seen is not a saints row game at
all sadly developers like volition
somehow haven't learned from the [ __ ]
show that was ea attacking fans over
battlefield v and have continued down
that path but i still do have a bit of
unfounded hope that these two people's
theory could be true however i only have
that small amount of hope left because
of how much of a huge fan of the series
i am and there's honestly a very small
chance that it will happen now with all
of that out the way we have finally come
to the end of this video so with that
