hand hi everybody I'm Michelle from
virtual hand care and in this video I'm
going to share Grace and Abel's
compression gloves so you can decide if
you'd like to give these a try these
compression gloves by grace and Abel
were created to empower people with
arthritis by providing them with
functional attractive and comfortable
joint supports they can use for everyday
activities so who can benefit from
compression gloves well anybody with
hand or thumb arthritis so if you have
an osteoarthritis or rheumatoid
arthritis you could definitely benefit
from wearing compression gloves even
somebody that had a hand injury or a
hand surgery and you've had some
swelling maybe some stiffness you could
also benefit from wearing compression
gloves now I'm going to go ahead and
share several features about these
gloves I'm going to break it down into
material come comfort and Fit cost and
use now I will leave a link here and in
the description box below of where you
can find these Grace enabled gloves so
first let's talk about material so these
are made of a lightweight and breathable
material that consists of cotton
polyester and spandex these are hand
wash only and air dry only it may
benefit you to get more than one pair
depending on what you're going to be
wearing them for so you can wear one
pair while the other pair is drying now
let's talk about comfort and fit now
make sure you go to Grace and Abel's
website so that you can learn how to
measure your hands so you can decide
which size is right for you now I have
the medium pink compression gloves on my
hand right now and as you can see it's
actually a pretty good comfortable fit
now I normally wear small compression
gloves so I do feel that these might run
just a little bit smaller if you are
somebody that likes a little bit more
compression then you may want to size
down however if you are somebody that
seems to kind of fly fluctuate quite a
bit throughout the day then you might
want to go ahead and just make sure that
you size accordingly to the measurement
based on their website and here are the
size small on my hands and here you can
see a side by side of the small and the medium
now the one thing I love about these
Grayson able gloves is they come in so
many different colors and they come in
many different sizes now all of the
gloves come in small medium and large
however the black is the only color
currently that comes in an extra small
and an extra large so the black actually
comes in five different sizes depending
on when you're viewing this video that
might have changed so definitely make
sure you check that out if you need an
extra small or an extra large and you're
wanting to get those in a different
color now another great feature is their
skin care kind label which basically
means they don't have a label on the
inside of the glove so if you're
somebody that has a little bit more
sensitive skin and having a traditional
label on the inside of a glove bothers
you or is kind of itchy then you have
the ability to choose several different
colors that are skin kind now let's talk
about cost currently these run 99 99 US
Dollars which I feel like is pretty
middle of the road because compression
gloves can range anywhere from ten
dollars all the way up to forty dollars
or even a little bit more but they do
have bundle and save programs if you
purchase two three or five pairs of
gloves so of course the more you
purchase the more you save and these are
available not only in the US but also
internationally now let's talk about use
now there are several alternatives to
compression gloves there are so many
different types out there however I have
not come across a company that has so
many different colors to choose from
which is really great for somebody that
doesn't want to draw too much attention
to their hands and wants their gloves to
blend in with their outfit or on the
flip side maybe you're somebody that
doesn't mind and you want some bright
bold colors and you want to strike up a
conversation with someone now
compression gloves in general are
helpful because they provide a uniform
compression throughout your whole entire
hand this can reduce swelling it also
can therefore reduce joint achiness and
Joint stiffness too and the gloves can
also help keep your hands warm which is
very beneficial again to help reduce
that stiffness and that achiness now
with that though any types of
compression gloves no matter the gloves
you choose they are what I call low
stability which means that they don't
provide a lot of support to a joint so
if you have say thumb arthritis and you
feel like you need a little bit more
support just wearing a glove alone may
not provide that really good external
support that you need however you could
wear compression gloves under some kind
of a thumb support or wrist support so
therefore you can get the benefit of the
compression as well as then an
additional support to your hand or your
thumb now I will leave a link here and
