0:01 I mean I dream about different sports
0:04 too but I definitely run in my dreams
0:07 it's the Olympics it's the semi-finals
0:10 of the 100 m on a blue
0:13 track and I the gun goes off and I start
0:17 running and I cross the line and on the
0:23 941 that's a new world record by the way
0:31 yeah Noah is doing more than just
0:34 dreaming about world records at the 2023
0:36 World Championships in Budapest he
0:38 captured gold in the 100 meter 200 met
0:41 and the 4x1 100 relay a feat last
0:44 achieved by Usain Bolt in 2015 as the
0:46 Olympics and Paris approached lyes the
0:48 reigning fastest man on earth is not
0:50 only eyeing multiple gold medals but a
0:53 potential world record into 200 meters
1:00 legacy we title the story on the cover
1:01 world's fastest nerd would you be okay
1:04 with that I had I'd be perfectly fine
1:07 with that nerd or geek what what about
1:11 anime appeals to you the hero story the
1:13 hero of the main syndrome
1:17 complex the you either have the hero
1:19 that started from zero or you have the
1:22 overpowered hero that only reveals
1:23 himself when
1:27 needed all right coach everybody relates
1:30 to that cuz everybody wants to be that
1:32 as a child ly's battled severe asthma
1:35 that often required hospitalization and
1:36 he's been outspoken about challenges
1:40 that include his mental health in 2022
1:42 lyes became the American record holder
1:45 for the 200 meter dash his time is just
1:48 12 hundredths of a second shy of the 200
1:51 meter world record time of 19.19 seconds
1:54 that is held by Usain Bol this part of
1:56 the Season we talked about earlier the
1:58 data looks good for you big face on
2:01 indoors is that an exciting feeling you
2:03 can't rest on your laurels like how do
2:05 you process that data yeah I mean kind
2:07 of just like I know that just because
2:09 data looks great doesn't mean that the
2:11 outcome will always happen so my goal is
2:14 to be as consistent as possible the more
2:15 consistent I am the more likely it'll
2:18 happen and that's just the mindset that
2:20 I constantly have and I'll take that
2:21 into practice and I'll take that into
2:25 the weight room and that takes care of
2:27 more and more variables that I can't
2:30 control so I know when the day AR is I
2:34 will be ready awesome I have had so many
2:37 adversity throughout my life you know
2:39 technically I'm not even supposed to be
2:41 here I'm supposed to be on you know
2:44 medication trying to get over asthma or
2:45 struggling to get through school because
2:49 of ADD and dyslexia or being a depressed
2:51 kid because I had to deal with bullying
2:53 but I felt like in every opportunity
2:55 instead of saying you know what I don't
2:58 think I'm the one I was brave enough to
3:01 say I'm willing to take the step forward
3:03 and because of that I've met tons of
3:05 people with different gifts and I've
3:07 been blessed enough to be given a lot of
3:09 gifts myself and I feel that I'm a very
3:11 good manager at being able to use those
3:14 gifts to the best of my ability and I
3:16 love it to see when a story comes
3:18 together and a moment is made ly's
3:20 already has won six World titles and a
3:22 bronze medal in the 200 meters at the
3:24 Tokyo Olympics his ambition for the
3:27 Paris games just listen pretty excited
3:29 about Paris I'm a lot more excited than
3:33 last year so shoot let's get to the
3:34 action are you going to win one gold
3:37 medal of comparison no I'm going to win
3:40 many medals are you going to win two
3:42 maybe more are you going to win three
3:44 now we're talking are you going to win
3:46 four I don't know but I'm willing to
3:48 find out they're probably going to see a
3:50 lot of smiling a lot of funny
3:53 interactive moments they're going to see
3:55 as much fashion as I can possibly do
3:58 cool hairstyles some cool nail
