0:17 um yeah this will be this will be a good
0:19 one um today we're going to be talking
0:21 about patience patience is a huge thing
0:24 um in trading and honestly it's probably
0:26 one of the reasons why you guys either
0:28 rush into trades lose unnecessary trades
0:31 get you know over excited about trades
0:34 and then you know end up entering
0:35 without any confirmation
0:37 um and this is also just like applicable
0:39 in life you guys have to have patience
0:41 um in terms of like your entire Journey
0:43 in life because you're not going to get
0:45 rich quick anything that you know causes
0:48 you to get rich quick or you think will
0:49 get you rich quick it won't it's going
0:51 to take time
0:52 um it will happen fast but not as fast
0:55 as you think it's not going to happen a
0:57 week it's not going to happen in a month
0:59 it might happen in a year or two years
1:01 or three that's what you guys need to be
1:03 thinking about so
1:06 of that being said let's get started and
1:09 let's start talking about patience and
1:12 why we need it in the market how we can
1:14 apply it in the market and then from
1:16 there how we can you know practice
1:18 exercises to help us you know be patient
1:21 um because I think nowadays especially
1:24 with the whole technology in our world
1:26 our attention span is super little okay
1:29 and that's and that's very difficult
1:31 because our our brains are just
1:33 constantly feeding for dopamine boosts
1:36 and the worst thing about trading is it
1:39 is a huge dopamine boost right when you
1:40 hit buy right when you hit sell because
1:42 you're thinking immediately about all
1:44 the profits that you could potentially
1:45 make
1:46 you can't have that mindset in this you
1:48 cannot have that mindset whatsoever
1:50 going into this because if you have that
1:53 then you're only thinking about the
1:54 money you're not thinking about
1:55 percentages you're not thinking about
1:56 probability all you want is just that
1:59 little hit this is um there was a study
2:01 done talking about people gambling that
2:04 you know once they actually place the
2:06 bet that's the dopamine boost that they
2:08 get that dopamine boost is more than
2:10 when just placing the bet that's obvious
2:13 boost is more than when they actually
2:15 win the money so no matter win or lose
2:18 right when you place that bet you're
2:20 getting that dopamine boost you're
2:21 getting that hit it's the same exact
2:23 thing with trading right when you press
2:24 that button that's when you get that hit
2:26 right and again you you probably make
2:28 the money but that's not when you're
2:30 excited you're excited when you place
2:31 the trade because you're thinking of the
2:33 money that you can make
2:34 right it's the same thing you never
2:36 think about the money that you could
2:37 lose so we need to start thinking about
2:39 the money that we could lose okay
2:42 um
2:43 patience is is a is a very very big
2:47 thing in trading in that you know you
2:49 guys are are fiending to place a trade
2:50 but you also have to wait for your setup
2:53 for your confirmation and sometimes you
2:56 won't even take a trade during the day
2:57 most the time I can find a trade to take
3:00 but with you guys right you want to wait
3:02 for a good high quality
3:06 um high potential high probability setup
3:09 that's going to get you paid not just
3:10 entering off of oh it looks good or like
3:14 oh like only one Confluence I'll enter
3:16 because like I want to take a trade
3:18 right we can't be thinking like that so
3:20 what are some what are some rules what
3:22 are some things that can help us build
3:23 on patients uh number one is literally
3:25 just having a trading plan set set up
3:28 literally your exact trading plan and it
3:30 should be a list a step-by-step list of
3:33 when you should be able to execute so
3:34 whether that's okay first we need to see
3:36 a liquidity sweep okay we see that and
3:38 then we see a break of structure okay we
3:40 see that and then maybe you gotta wait a
3:42 little bit more until you see their
3:43 value Gap get entered in and then and
3:46 then you see a reaction and then you
3:47 enter
3:49 that literally solves your patient's
3:50 problem right there by just giving you a
3:52 step-by-step list on when to execute and
3:54 if none of those things apply you don't
3:55 trade
3:56 make it make it so you can't make it so
3:59 it's easy to be patient and give
4:00 yourself rules so that patience doesn't
4:03 really even have to be anything that you
4:05 need to think about it's literally
4:06 should just be something that you are
4:08 always doing in the market and you
4:10 should honestly be doing it in life too
4:11 you need to be patient you can't be
4:13 rushing things because if you rush
4:15 things you get sloppy work done if you
4:17 rush things you actually won't get the
4:18 job done if you right if you heard if
4:20 you try and do something too quick right
4:22 it probably won't work out versus if you
4:24 actually be patient you know actually
4:26 put time effort and thought into it
4:29 it'll pay off okay so with that being
4:31 said first step have a trading plan have
4:34 a list of things ready to execute again
4:37 this is going back to the dopamine thing
4:39 what do we have to do next we have to
4:41 make it so we are emotionless when we're
4:42 trading because part of the patience
4:44 game is you are willing to sit out a day
4:48 you're willing to take your time in this
4:50 and you're not thinking about oh I just
4:52 want to make this money I want to make
4:53 this money right so be be honestly like
4:58 when you come into the market think I do
5:01 not want to trade today because if we're
5:03 being honest the probability of you guys
5:05 right now right obviously you want to
5:07 get reps in and that's how you can get
5:08 practice and get better but of you guys
5:10 right now should be I want to be as
5:12 patient as possible and I should be
5:14 looking not to trade the market should
5:17 be giving me a reason to enter a trade
5:20 and I shouldn't be making up a reason
5:22 for me to trade so that makes sense you
5:24 should be waiting for the market to give
5:25 you the opportunity to trade you should
5:28 not be forcing yourself into trades
5:31 right and we'll talk about forcing
5:33 trades later in this course or probably
5:35 in like a subsection of a video but
5:37 that's a huge thing if you if you're
5:39 forcing trades odds are you're feeding
5:41 for that dopamine boost you're thinking
5:43 just about the money you force that you
5:45 force your bias upon the market when the
5:47 market isn't even following that bias
5:49 you're pretty much just in your head
5:50 kind of making this up saying like oh
5:53 yeah like I think Market will go in this
5:55 direction like it looks good like no no
5:57 what what's in your trading plan did
6:00 this happen did this happen did this
6:01 happen
6:02 okay now look at it and then see if it
6:05 looks good sometimes you guys should be
6:07 patient enough where that step-by-step
6:09 plan that step-by-step list on your
6:11 training plan all those things get hit
6:13 and sometimes you still shouldn't even
6:15 trade right what if there's news right
6:17 you got to be patient you got to wait
6:18 for news sometimes you know if there's
6:20 news in the market you shouldn't even
6:21 trade
6:22 be open to not trading okay in fact
6:25 encourage it okay you guys need to you
6:28 really need to just like
6:30 take two steps back and understand that
6:32 this thing will not happen as quick as
6:35 you think and as and as fast as you want
6:37 it to the second you understand that
6:40 you're going to be in this for the long
6:42 run and all that money that you're
6:44 thinking about making really won't come
6:46 until a couple years which is a long
6:48 time that's when you can be like okay
6:51 well if I'm not actually gonna make
6:53 money today if I'm not actually gonna
6:54 make hella bread by next week by next
6:57 month by the next three months then
6:59 what's the point of me you know trading
7:02 sloppily or like you know promoting bad
7:04 habits that's what we need to [ __ ]
7:05 bite in the ass and get get gone that's
7:07 what this whole boot camp is all about
7:09 biting those bad habits in the ass and
7:11 getting them out of here
7:13 um because a lot of you guys odds are
7:15 you've been trading for a while and you
7:16 have all these bad habits built up so
7:18 this is up to us to you know [ __ ] nip
7:21 it in the butt and kill it okay
7:23 so with that being said we need to
7:26 practice patience within the market be
7:29 be sitting there ready to trade
7:32 but you you almost want the market to
7:34 prove itself that hey this setup is so
7:36 good that there's there's no reason for
7:38 you not to take it right those are the
7:41 types of Trades that you should be
7:42 taking instead of the ones that are like
7:43 oh well like this happened but this
7:46 didn't happen and I'm also not sure
7:47 because it's against the daily bias and
7:49 it's off a retracement no bro that you
7:51 should not be taking that
7:53 you shouldn't be taking that trade bro
7:55 definitely not right if you're if you're
7:58 if you're the one to try and force force
8:01 your bias
8:03 onto the market rather than having the
8:05 market come to you rather than just
8:06 waiting with your [ __ ] sniper out
8:08 [ __ ] waiting for that entry to hit
8:11 and being patient just waiting for price
8:13 to develop trust me guys
8:14 yes maybe you you like waiting an extra
8:18 one or two candlesticks isn't going to
8:21 hurt you that much when entering a trade
8:22 sometimes you know maybe all your entry
8:25 all those uh execution points get hit
8:28 and you're like well let me wait for one
8:30 more candle Let Me Wait for price to
8:32 develop be patient see if you get the
8:35 volume see if you get the volatility and
8:36 then enter
8:37 okay because you know this this is this
8:41 is not a game to take lightly this is a
8:43 game where you you come into the market
8:45 with potential to lose money as a job
8:49 you come and you come in every single
8:51 day not knowing whether or not you're
8:52 going to make money or lose money and
8:53 that's a lot of pressure so wouldn't you
8:55 want to take those high probability
8:56 setups wouldn't you want to be patient
8:58 and be calm cool and collected when
9:01 those setups come
9:02 you probably would and wouldn't you
9:04 wouldn't you not want to force yourself
9:06 into trades that aren't high probability
9:08 because you're probably going to lose
9:10 right you would probably want to be
9:12 patient
9:13 okay and that's just for the trading
9:15 part now if we talk about it in life
9:17 like for your future for your for your
9:20 goals a lot of you guys it's good that
9:22 you set ambitious goals that's great but
9:24 understanding that they aren't going to
9:25 happen in a day or two days or a week or
9:27 a month that's very key but by being
9:30 patient and by thinking that way like oh
9:32 yeah it probably won't happen very soon
9:33 odds are it'll happen a lot quicker than
9:35 if you're if you try and force it if you
9:37 try and force it to happen in a month if
9:39 you try and force this to happen if you
9:40 just take your time with this it'll all
9:43 come in due time everyone's on a
9:44 different different timeline in their
9:46 trading Journey it took me two years to
9:48 return profitable it might take you five
9:50 it might take you know little Timmy
9:52 [ __ ] six months and he and he'll be a
9:54 way better Trader than me right you guys
9:56 have to be very patient and understand
9:58 this is a one-on-one game it's between
10:00 you and you and you and the markets okay
10:02 there's no one else there's no one else
10:03 in this okay if you're if you're the
10:05 type to like be trading with your boys
10:07 and stuff stop doing that bro stop
10:09 trading with your friends because they
10:11 are going to have completely different
10:12 bias that by is then you they're they're
10:15 going to you know think of Concepts
10:17 differently than you right this is a
10:19 very this is a very individualized job
10:22 everyone trades differently whether they
10:24 trade the same strategy every single
10:27 person has something that is slightly
10:29 different about the way that they trade
10:30 right day in and day out if I have the
10:32 same strategy if I even if I have the
10:35 same parameters as as everybody else
10:37 we're probably going to take different
10:39 trades because we see things different
10:40 you know we execute differently that's
10:42 just how it works
10:44 okay so hopefully with that being said I
10:47 got the point across you guys need to be
10:49 patient when it comes to your goals be
10:51 patient when it comes to trading and
10:52 executing and trust me it will be
10:55 beneficial way more than you think I
10:57 know you probably wanting to
11:00 get right into the charts and you think
11:01 that's what you need it's not that is
11:03 not what you need you do not need to
11:04 replace in 10 trades a day to make a lot
11:06 of money in this I take one trade a day
11:08 and I call it good bro like
11:10 that money will come later that's
11:13 another thing you got to realize you're
11:14 you're trying to focus on the skill
11:16 first learn the skill and realize that
11:18 if you're patient and if you actually
11:21 learn the skill first that money will
11:22 come later so with that being said
11:24 there's patience your homework for today
11:27 this one's going to be fun man this this
11:30 one is going to be very fun and we'll
11:32 see who's able to do it
11:33 so my basketball coach was really big
11:36 big into like mentality stuff and this
11:39 was a drill he had us do
11:41 which was probably one of the hardest
11:44 things I've had to do mentally in like a
11:47 long time like and it sounds it sounds
11:49 like like stupid it sounds kind of [ __ ]
11:51 made but trust me do this and you will
11:53 realize how [ __ ] hard hard this is
11:55 okay pretty much what you do you go in
11:58 your room
11:59 sit down on the floor or go in really
12:01 any room that you know you can turn off
12:03 all the lights in make sure there's no
12:06 light coming in turn off all the lights
12:08 okay and then put your put your phone
12:11 outside the door with a timer for 30
12:14 minutes you're going to sit in your room
12:17 with all the lights off with your eyes
12:19 shut and you're just going to meditate
12:21 you're just going to sit there and just
12:23 focus on your breathing Just Breathe In
12:25 Breathe Out breathe in breathe out you
12:28 can't stand up you can't open your eyes
12:30 you're just focused sitting there in
12:33 dead silence no music no light nothing
12:36 focus on your breathing and just trying
12:39 to empty your head and try it for 30
12:42 minutes
12:43 it it was the when I tell you I thought
12:46 in I thought a [ __ ] hour went by and
12:49 it was probably only 10 minutes because
12:51 I was in that room it felt like forever
12:53 and hopefully what you'll realize by
12:56 doing this and I really encourage all
12:58 you guys to do it I like don't don't cut
13:00 it down to 10 minutes don't cut it down
13:02 to 15 30 minutes bro
13:03 like trust me you will realize how short
13:07 your attention span is and honestly how
13:11 terrible social media and technology is
13:13 for you
13:14 by doing this because you'll realize
13:16 like yo
13:18 30 minutes in reality isn't that much
13:20 time
13:21 it's not that much time right you can
13:23 waste 30 minutes on your phone doing
13:25 whatever but right you can waste 30
13:28 minutes on your phone very quickly
13:31 but when you're by yourself and there's
13:33 no distractions
13:35 think about how long that time lasts
13:37 it's way different it's way different
13:39 and now when you have that realization
13:41 of how long how long 30 minutes really
13:43 is
13:44 that's when you realize what you can get
13:46 done during that time and that's when
13:47 you can start to realize like how much
13:49 time you waste doing stupid stuff that
13:51 take up so much time within that 30
13:53 minutes that you could actually be doing
13:55 you know something beneficial something
13:57 good something productive so with that
14:00 being said I encourage you guys turn
14:01 this [ __ ] off right now lock yourself in
14:04 that damn room put your phone outside
14:05 the door with that timer and make make
14:08 it an alarm or whatever like a little
14:10 not not like the stopwatch the actual
14:13 timer for like 30 minutes and have an
14:14 alarm go off
14:16 um so that being said
14:18 go [ __ ] meditate turn turn off all
14:21 your lights close your eyes focus on
14:22 your breathing trust me
14:24 it'll be it'll be very it'll it'll be
14:27 very interesting to see how you guys
14:28 react to that and leave a comment
14:30 um and on how your experience was with

14:34 maybe for less time every day I used to
14:37 meditate for 10 hours oh sorry not 10 10
14:40 hours would be crazy 10 minutes um every
14:42 morning wake up take a cold shower and
14:44 then I'll just close all the close up
14:45 close all the doors turn off the lights
14:49 focus on my breathing really really
14:51 locks you in it's it's very surprising
14:53 how beneficial meditation can be so with
