0:01 Most people won't admit that selling
0:03 digital products and making loads of
0:06 money online is actually only easy if
0:08 you understand how to promote your
0:10 product. Because if you don't, you'll
0:12 probably find yourself posting every day
0:15 on Instagram or trying to post three to
0:18 five times a day on Tik Tok and getting
0:20 absolutely nowhere. You're going to feel
0:22 burned out. You're going to feel
0:23 overwhelmed. You're going to feel like
0:25 you want to give up. How do I know that?
0:28 because I felt those exact things until
0:31 I found Pinterest and it absolutely
0:33 changed the game when it came to
0:35 marketing my digital products. Why?
0:37 Because Pinterest isn't actually a
0:40 social media platform. It is a search
0:43 platform which makes it really easy to
0:46 get your pins in front of people and
0:49 actually get them clicking through onto
0:51 your product pages because all you have
0:54 to do is include the right keywords. And
0:56 I'm going to show you exactly how to do
0:57 that in this video. Now, you might be
0:59 thinking Pinterest is just a place that
1:02 I go to save pretty pictures or to do my
1:04 vision board. And I would say it's so
1:06 much more than that. And it's actually a
1:08 secret weapon that a lot of people are
1:11 not talking about online and certainly
1:13 aren't giving you for free. So, in this
1:15 free course today, I'm going to show you
1:18 not only how to create pins, but how to
1:20 schedule them and how to actually get
1:22 Pinterest monetized so it can start
1:25 working for you and driving sales even
1:27 when you're asleep and on autopilot.
1:29 Now, like I say, this is info that is
1:32 usually kept inside big dollar courses.
1:34 So, all I ask for you is to like this
1:36 video and drop me a comment and let me
1:39 know, are you excited for this? And have
1:42 you considered using Pinterest before to
1:44 drive traffic to your digital products?
1:46 My promise to you is that by the end of
1:48 this video, you will understand exactly
1:51 how to market your digital product on
1:54 Pinterest. So, let's get into
1:57 it. Hi friends, I'm Michelle. I'm a
1:59 six-figure digital product coach and
2:02 mentor and I help you start your own
2:04 digital product businesses with the help
2:07 of AI. So, let's get straight into this.
2:09 So, I don't want to dillydally around.
2:10 The first thing you need to know is that
2:13 you need to set up a Pinterest business
2:15 account if you don't already have one.
2:17 They're completely free. And if you have
2:19 a personal account, you can easily
2:21 switch it over to a business account.
2:23 The reason you want to do this is so
2:24 that you can see all of your analytics
2:27 and all of your insights. And Pinterest
2:29 are really good for analytics. Okay,
2:31 there's a video in my description box
2:33 that shows you how to set this up. It's
2:35 incredibly straightforward. So we are
2:37 going to jump into the first part of the
2:40 video which is understanding how to find
2:42 your keywords and how to optimize your
2:45 Pinterest profile. So let's jump into
2:47 Pinterest. So our first step is to jump
2:49 inside the Pinterest platform and start
2:52 finding the keywords that we're going to
2:55 use to not only optimize our content but
2:58 also optimize our bio and profile name
3:01 too. Now, you'll see from my Pinterest
3:04 right at the top. Um, you'll see my name
3:07 here. My name is Rochelle, digital
3:09 product coach, digital marketing, and AI
3:12 tips. So, you'll see how many keywords
3:14 I've just got inside my Pinterest name.
3:17 Digital marketing, AI tips, digital
3:19 products, which means that when people
3:21 search Pinterest, there's a more of a
3:23 chance of me coming up in the search
3:26 results. Now, for this example, I'm
3:28 actually not going to use my niche at
3:30 all because I feel like there is a
3:32 misconception that this only works for
3:34 the make money online or wealth niche,
3:36 and that is actually not the case.
3:38 Pinterest actually works really, really
3:40 well for a variety of niches, but
3:42 especially those that are aligned with
3:45 female audiences. So, I'm going to use
3:47 one of my student niches, which is all
3:50 about natural hairstyles. She sells
3:52 ebooks and mini courses helping women
3:55 look after their natural curly and coily
3:58 and kinky hair. Right? So, this is the
3:59 example that we're going to use today.
4:01 And you'll see that my Pinterest is
4:03 already full of this content cuz I have
4:05 recorded this video more than once.
4:07 Right? So, the first step that you're
4:10 going to do is to type your niche inside
4:12 the search bar so that you can get your
4:15 keywords. So, the first thing I would
4:17 type in is like natural hairstyles,
4:20 right? For my example, if I'm selling
4:22 natural hair related digital products,
4:25 and you'll see all of these keywords
4:28 that are populating inside the Pinterest
4:30 search bar. These are all of the
4:32 keywords that you need to incorporate
4:35 inside your bio, inside your board
4:38 names, in your Pinterest content, and
4:41 your pin profile name. Okay? So once you
4:43 click on any one of these keywords,
4:46 Pinterest is actually going to give you
4:49 more keyword options along the top. So
4:52 here where it says short, easy, 4C,
4:54 quick, silk press, 4C, short, blah blah
4:56 blah, these are all keywords that
4:58 Pinterest are giving you. And you'll see
5:01 that when you click on any of them, your
5:04 search bar keyword changes, right? And
5:07 so this is a really easy way to know
5:09 exactly what keywords you should be
5:12 including inside your content. Another
5:14 great way, and I discovered this
5:16 recently, is a free extension called
5:20 Keywords Everywhere. Okay, it's a Chrome
5:23 extension, and this will also give you
5:26 insights onto into the keywords that you
5:28 can be using for your Pinterest content
5:31 as well as some insights on how each of
5:33 those pins and keywords are performing.
5:35 Now, it only has a limited number of
5:37 free searches. I think it's five per
5:39 day, but it's still really useful to
5:40 have. Now, once you've conducted all of
5:42 your research, you need a place to
5:44 actually store your keywords cuz you're
5:46 going to need them later in this
5:48 tutorial and generally throughout your
5:51 Pinterest marketing journey. Okay? And
5:54 so, inside your starter kit below, I've
5:56 actually given you my template that I
5:58 use to track all of my keywords. So, in
6:00 here, I will put my keywords. I will put
6:02 the content pillar that they relate to.
6:04 So if you have lots of different types
6:05 of content that you like to talk about
6:07 or you don't like to stick to
6:09 necessarily one specific topic, you can
6:11 have keywords for different topics. So
6:13 for this, I might have some for natural
6:15 hair. I might have some for hair
6:17 styling. I might have some for maybe
6:20 natural beauty. So you know different
6:22 content pillars, different keywords and
6:24 then you can also find out the search
6:26 volume. And then you can also get these
6:28 keywords from different places. So, a
6:30 more advanced technique would be to use
6:33 a paid tool like key search or ping
6:36 clicks to find out which of the keywords
6:38 has the most volume. But you don't need
6:39 to worry about that until you are kind
6:41 of a little bit more settled in your
6:43 Pinterest journey. The most important
6:46 part at this point is that you are
6:48 writing down or typing out, copy and
6:49 pasting, whatever you want to call it,
6:52 all of your keywords into one place
6:53 because we're going to need it for
6:54 content. And that's what we are coming
6:57 on to next. Okay. Now that we have our
6:59 keywords, it's time to start pinning.
7:01 And I have made this process so much
7:04 easier by building a custom Pinterest
7:07 GPT for you. This is trained on all of
7:08 my Pinterest knowledge, all of my
7:11 experience, all of my examples. And so,
7:13 it's going to help you create actual
7:15 good Pinterest content very, very
7:17 quickly. I can't tell you how much
7:19 content I see on Pinterest that's just
7:22 been created with a standard chatbt and
7:24 is quite AI generated and just content
7:26 that just doesn't sound good, right? So,
7:28 this completely negates all of that.
7:29 You're going to have all of the best
7:32 content at your fingertips in this GPT.
7:33 It does two things. Today, we are going
7:36 to be creating pins, but it also helps
7:38 you set up and optimize your pin
7:40 profile. Okay, so it does it kills two
7:42 birds with one stone, basically. So, the
7:44 first thing you'll do is click on this,
7:46 and it's actually going to ask you a few
7:50 questions. Now what I will do actually
7:52 is I will go back to the example that I
7:54 did just so you can see how I answered
7:56 those questions and how you can answer
7:58 them to get the best possible results.
8:00 It basically asks who's my ideal
8:02 customer? What tone of voice are we
8:05 going for? Um can I upload any inspo
8:08 pins or um any content that I have? And
8:09 the reason why it wants this is because
8:12 it wants to create content that sounds
8:14 like you not like ch or not like a
8:16 robot. So you can give it some examples.
8:18 And if you don't have any content yet,
8:20 if you're just beginning, don't worry.
8:22 I've got something to show you to help
8:23 you out here. And then it also asks,
8:25 "How many pins are we creating?" So, let
8:27 me show you what I responded with. I
8:29 said, "My audience are black ethnic
8:30 women who want to grow their hair."
8:32 Again, we are in this example. This is
8:34 not my niche, but this is a student
8:37 niche. So, her audience are black ethnic
8:39 women that want to grow their natural
8:42 curly hair and keep it healthy. The tone
8:45 I want is uplifting. It's knowledgeable.
8:47 And because I'm a newbie and I don't
8:49 have any of my own content yet, I
8:52 actually attached an inspirational blog
8:54 post that I found and I actually found
8:56 it on Pinterest. So, this is the blog
8:58 article that I found. It's all about
9:00 natural hair. And I thought, okay, this
9:02 looks like the type of content that I
9:04 would love my pins to sound like. So,
9:06 what I then went back to um Pin
9:08 Perfection and said is here's some
9:11 inspirational blog content. Do not copy
9:12 it. This is really important. Do not
9:14 copy it. We're not here to copy other
9:16 people's work, but we want to mirror the
9:18 vibe. Okay, so that's really important.
9:20 And then I told it that we are creating
9:24 six pins just for this example. Usually
9:26 I would create anywhere between 30 and
9:28 50 pins in one go because it is super
9:31 easy. I then just pasted in my blog
9:33 post. Just pasted in the full blog post
9:36 of the example. Okay, that was really
9:40 quick to do. And after that, chatbt
9:42 asked me a few more questions. So it
9:44 asks me what is my main keyword. It asks
9:46 me what is my supporting keyword and
9:48 where do I want to link to. So this is
9:50 where we come back to the keyword
9:51 library and it's so important because
9:53 you've already done that keyword
9:54 research. You know what your keywords
9:56 are and so you're literally going to
9:59 copy from this and paste into the GPT.
10:00 Now you might be thinking how do I
10:03 decide which one is my primary keyword?
10:05 You simply choose the one that either
10:08 you feel fits your products best or that
10:10 you see most on the Pinterest platform.
10:11 And you'll know when you're looking
10:13 around and you're searching in the
10:15 search bar, you'll see the keywords that
10:17 keep coming up, right? So, for me, I
10:19 decided that natural hairstyles was
10:21 going to be my primary keyword. And then
10:24 I just copied three to five random other
10:27 ones that I liked or that I think were
10:28 relevant for the pins that I want to
10:30 create. Okay, so we went back here. So,
10:32 this is what I put in. I said my primary
10:34 keyword is natural hairstyles. Secondary
10:37 is these things here. And here is the
10:39 link that I want to go through to. Now,
10:40 this is an example. I don't actually
10:42 have any content for this niche cuz it's
10:45 not my niche. Um, so if you are just
10:47 starting out, I really recommend that
10:49 you link to your lead magnet, aka your
10:53 freebie, your product pages. Um, if you
10:55 have blog posts, please link to those.
10:57 Those work really, really well with
10:59 Pinterest. And actually, in the starter
11:02 kit, I've given you some AI prompts to
11:05 create blog posts like super quickly.
11:07 within like less than an hour you could
11:09 have three or four blog posts and the
11:11 key is to make sure on that blog post
11:13 there is a link back to your product. So
11:15 basically you are just helping people to
11:17 get more information from the blog post
11:19 and then go to your product. Um you can
11:21 also do this with affiliates as well. So
11:23 you can create a blog post about your
11:25 affiliate content and then you can link
11:27 back to your affiliate content. And then
11:29 the last one that you can also link to
11:32 is other social media accounts. So, I
11:34 first started using Pinterest to grow my
11:36 YouTube. Well, no, I was using Pinterest
11:38 before that, but I've started using
11:40 Pinterest to grow my YouTube. So, I
11:41 create pins and then I just link them
11:43 straight to my YouTube videos and that
11:46 helps me to increase my views and my
11:48 subscribers. Okay, so this is what I put
11:50 in. Um, the link I just put the blog
11:52 post because this is just an example.
11:56 And you'll see what chat GBT created. It
11:58 created this beautiful table which
12:01 included your pin title, your pin
12:04 description, your alt text, all of your
12:07 keywords, the text that you're actually
12:09 going to put on your actual pins. So,
12:10 this is the text that you'll put on your
12:12 pins that we'll create in just a minute,
12:14 and as well as the URL that I gave it.
12:16 Like, that is amazing. And usually, it
12:18 would take a lot of admin and a lot of
12:20 copy and pasting to get to a really
12:22 workable format like this. So, this is
12:25 what you'll get inside my custom GPT.
12:27 Okay, so the next step is to take all of
12:29 this information and create some pins.
12:33 So, let's do this together inside Canva.
12:35 The first step though is to copy all of
12:38 this and put it in your template. So,
12:40 you'll see you've got another tab in
12:42 your template where you can put all of
12:45 your pin content. Okay? So, you can
12:47 paste everything in. So, you've got it
12:50 nice and clean all in one place. And
12:51 then you're going to go to Canva and
12:54 create the pins. So, let me show you how
12:56 that looks. Okay, so now we are inside
12:58 Canva. As part of your kit, I give you
13:01 my 15 best Pinterest templates. Okay, so
13:02 these are all the templates and I
13:06 literally reuse the same templates. I
13:07 just change the images, change the
13:09 writing. Sometimes I might change some
13:11 colors, but I reuse the same templates
13:14 over and over again and that works for
13:16 me and it's super quick, right? So, you
13:18 can do the same thing. And these are my
13:20 actual templates. Like when we go into
13:22 my scheduling tool later, you're going
13:24 to see that I'm actually using these
13:25 templates cuz I want you to have the
13:28 very best templates so you can get more
13:30 clicks, right? So you start with this as
13:32 a base. So I've already created those
13:34 six pins in this version. Okay? So
13:37 you'll see I've done 1 2 3 4 5 6. And
13:40 you'll see the copy on the pins is
13:43 literally what I got from ChatGpt. Um so
13:46 this onscreen text, this is what I've
13:48 put on my pins, right? So, this one
13:49 says, "This stage is just the
13:51 beginning," which is like a short afro.
13:53 And then you'll say, "This stage is just
13:56 the beginning." So, I've just copied all
13:59 of this text and put it onto the six
14:02 pins that I've created here. So, this is
14:04 one, embrace your natural crown. The
14:07 second one, loweffort impact styles. And
14:10 all I did is use photos from Canva. So,
14:12 let me show you. I searched natural
14:16 hair, black woman. I click see all and
14:18 then I just dragged and dropped photos.
14:20 Like it's that easy. And that's all you
14:22 have to do. You can create your own
14:25 photos with AI or you can use your own
14:27 photography. And that is really how
14:30 quick a pin should be. All you need is
14:33 some good scroll stopping juicy onscreen
14:36 text and where you can tell them what
14:37 they're going to get when they click on
14:39 it. say this one might go to a free
14:42 guide or you might put read full article
14:45 or you might say um special offer
14:47 pricing if you're going through to a
14:50 product. Okay, so this part in Canva is
14:51 probably the most timeconuming even
14:53 though you have the templates. It is
14:55 just drag and drop but it depends how
14:56 pretty you want them to be. And I like
14:59 my pins to be pretty. These six pins
15:01 probably took me about 5 minutes to do.
15:03 Okay. And so now we are going to share.
15:05 We're going to download the pins that I
15:08 created. I only created six. I'm going
15:11 to go 1 to six. Um, I'm going to have
15:13 them as JPEG. And then I'm going to
15:15 click download. And now we're going to
15:16 go into the scheduling tool that I like
15:18 to use called Tailwind. And this is
15:21 going to autochedu all of our pins.
15:23 Autopublish. So we only have to do it
15:25 once. And your pins will be going out
15:27 automatically every single day. Like
15:28 while you sleep, while you're out
15:30 enjoying yourself, Tailwind will be
15:32 pushing out your pins and getting you
15:34 traffic to your sales page. So, let's
15:37 jump into Tailwind to schedule these
15:40 pins. Okay, so now we are inside
15:42 Tailwind. And there may look like a lot
15:44 going on, but I promise you it's simpler
15:46 than it looks. So, along the left side
15:48 here, you're going to get all of the
15:51 features that Tailwind has. And for this
15:53 tutorial, you only need to worry about
15:55 the pinuler at the moment. That's all
15:58 you're using. And you'll see that these
16:00 are all the pins that I have ready
16:02 scheduled to go out. And these are all
16:04 of my own pins. And you can see right,
16:06 I'm using those templates. Like I didn't
16:08 give you those templates for no reason.
16:10 I'm using them because they work. Now,
16:13 these are all of the pins for my niche.
16:15 The ones that we are using for this
16:18 example are here. And to get them inside
16:21 Tailwind, all I did is I clicked upload
16:23 pin. Then I opened all of the pins. I
16:27 clicked upload. And then I bulk edited.
16:28 Right? Because all of these pins are
16:30 going through to the same URL. They're
16:31 going through to different URLs.
16:34 obviously do it individually, but I can
16:36 select to begin bulk editing, create
16:40 pins, and then here I can click bulk
16:43 edit again. And this is where I can put
16:46 in my URL. So the URL that I want them
16:48 to go to, obviously this is already in
16:49 my sheet. And this is the joy of having
16:52 everything really organized because it's
16:54 literally just copy and paste. And in
16:56 time, I really would love you to give
16:58 this job to a VA. Like you just create
17:01 that sheet and your VA or your assistant
17:03 goes creates your pins and uploads them.
17:06 Like it's super easy way to get traffic
17:08 and to your digital products without you
17:10 having to do too much. So you paste in
17:13 your URL and then you can also set the
17:15 boards that you want to go to. Now your
17:17 pin boards are part of your setup
17:19 process. Check out the video below.
17:21 Check out the starter kit cuz you're
17:23 also going to get the GPT to help you
17:25 set up all of your boards. Your boards
17:27 are essentially like, think of it as
17:28 like a saved album where all of your
17:30 different pins that are related to each
17:32 other are saved. Okay? So that's like a
17:36 board and you can pin your pin to three
17:38 boards. So usually you start with five
17:40 to seven boards and then you can pin one
17:42 pin to different boards. So you can have
17:45 one pin in different albums, right? And
17:48 this basically turns that one pin into
17:52 three pins. So your Pinterest content is
17:55 always multiplying. And this is another
17:57 reason why I love Pinterest and why it
17:59 just doesn't have burnout. It just
18:00 doesn't have burnout like the other
18:02 platforms cuz you don't have to create
18:04 as much and you can repurpose it over
18:06 and over. So you would click on up to
18:08 three boards. I usually keep it at
18:10 three. I don't like to do too much. And
18:12 then this does it for all of the pins,
18:15 right? And then all you would need to do
18:18 is go in and copy in your pin title and
18:20 your pin description. So let's do it
18:22 together. So, we are literally just
18:31 in. Okay, done. So, I've copied in all
18:33 of my titles, all of my descriptions.
18:35 Um, that was a time lapse, but it's
18:37 really it was really quick. And you've
18:40 got all of your um URLs, and you've got
18:42 all of your boards. Okay, so that is all
18:45 done. So now you can just click every
18:46 single one that you're ready to
18:48 schedule, whatever they are, as many as
18:50 you like, and then click schedule. I'm
18:51 obviously not going to do that because
18:53 they are just examples, but as soon as
18:56 you click schedule, they will go over
18:58 here into your scheduleuler, and
19:00 Pinterest will basically decide when's
19:02 the best time to put them out, when's
19:04 the best day, um how many to put out on
19:06 each day. Like pin um Tailwind, sorry,
19:08 does all of that inside Pinterest for
19:10 you. All you have to do is click
19:12 schedule. Now, while we're in Tailwind,
19:14 I want to show you a second feature that
19:17 it has that honestly is a lifesaver. So,
19:19 if you don't want to be creating pins in
19:22 Canva all the time, you can actually
19:25 easily create pins using AI in Tailwind.
19:26 Now, two things I need you to know about
19:28 this. You're going to ask me, well, why
19:30 would I spend time creating in Canva if
19:32 I can just do it in Tailwind? One,
19:35 because the Tailwind ones don't look as
19:37 nice and unique as the Canva ones, which
19:39 you're going to see in a minute. And
19:40 two, they do a different job. The
19:43 tailwind ones are really about volume
19:45 because with Pinterest, the more times
19:47 that you can post your pins out there,
19:50 the more SEO your improvement you'll see
19:51 and the more people that will click,
19:53 right? But it's not like Tik Tok where
19:56 you have to just post and post and post
19:59 and post. Like I say, you can repurpose
20:01 your content so easily and you can use
20:04 platforms like Tailwind Design. It used
20:05 to be Tailwind Create. It's now called
20:07 Tailwind Design. So now let's have a
20:09 look at this. if you click on the design
20:12 tab and it's literally asking you for
20:13 images. So, if you've got your own
20:16 images, please put these in because it
20:19 makes it more unique. But these images I
20:22 just found um online. Actually, these
20:24 are stock images. So, if you click stock
20:28 image and then I typed in black
20:32 woman hair, black woman hair could be
20:34 anything, right? But it's going to find
20:36 some images and it's going to make all
20:38 of these amazing pins for you. So, I
20:40 already put two images in. So, I might
20:43 just put another two that are very
20:46 similar. And what you'll see is that
20:49 these pins now are going to start
20:51 populating. It's a little bit slow, but
20:53 you'll see they're going to start
20:55 populating. Actually, some of them have
20:59 five. So, let's put in one
21:03 more. Okay. And then for the text, I've
21:05 put in the text. Again, this was based
21:08 on the document that we did. So, I just
21:10 used this title. You can use any of the
21:12 titles. Actually, you should work your
21:14 way through and basically use all of
21:15 them. So, you can get lots of different
21:18 pins. So, can update the title to this.
21:21 And you'll see that it's updated on all
21:24 of these pins. And then all I have to do
21:28 is literally click select, select,
21:31 select. That's all I have to do and it's
21:34 going to start pinning them for me. So
21:37 once I decide which pins I like, I go to
21:40 review designs. Um, and so these are all
21:42 the ones I selected. These actually the
21:44 same. Um, but these are all the ones
21:46 that I just randomly selected. Then you
21:49 click go to schedule and yeah, you
21:52 confirm it's your Pinterest account. And
21:54 from there you can schedule them in
21:55 exactly the same way that I did the
21:58 Canva one. So, you can see how quickly I
22:01 can create pins with AI, layer that on
22:03 top of your canvas strategy, and you
22:07 honestly have the most powerful strategy
22:09 for growth on Tik Tok. Now, everything
22:11 I've demonstrated today is showing you
22:13 ways to drive traffic to your digital
22:15 products, your lead magnets, and your
22:17 content. But what if you don't have a
22:19 digital product or lead magnets or any
22:20 other platforms that you want to grow
22:22 right now? How can you use Pinterest
22:25 today to start monetizing? I got you.
22:27 There is a very specific affiliate
22:30 Pinterest strategy that you can use to
22:33 start making money on Pinterest. Even if
22:35 you don't have a product and even if you
22:38 are starting from scratch, I have found
22:40 another special weapon platform that is
22:42 really going to help you make the most
22:43 out of it. So, you're going to want to
22:45 watch this video on your screen right
22:48 now and dive in. Until next time, guys. Bye.
