from the Miners Day building in
beautiful Web City, Missouri. Welcome to
Dovepoint Fall Fellowship Feast of
Tabernacle Service 2025.
And to all of our viewers on YouTube,
we're glad we're so glad you joined us
and have your sacraments ready for
communion. And today's lecture is
entitled The Spirit of Elijah that is
prophesied to fall upon this end time
generation of believers. And it's one of
the largest signs of the end time
prophecy there is in your Bible. It was
said of John the Baptist that he came in
the spirit and the power of Elijah. But
what does it mean to come in the spirit
and power of Elijah? What is the spirit
of Elijah? What does it do when it
arrives? What is God's purpose in
sending it? And what is the proof that
it has arrived? All these questions
we'll answer today. And you do want to
know these answers because we are very
very close to experiencing this
supernatural spiritual phenomenon. A
very unusual miraculous okay occurrence
that is affixed to this single
generation. Think about that. Now it
happened in the generation right before
Christ returned. It's happening again
right now. Elijah,
the spirit of Elijah. Elijah
was no doubt the greatest prophet God
ever had. He's mentioned in the Bible 68
times in the Old Testament and in the
New Testament, he's called Elias. Okay,
that's the Greek, but it's it's Elijah
where he's mentioned 38 times. His name
in Hebrew means my God is Yah. Say it
with me. My God is Yah.
M mm. So, right off the get-go, his
destiny was already laid out in front of
him. So, do you think Elijah's parents
knew something about him before he was
born? Oh, I think they did. That's how
he got that name. So, in this lecture,
let us look at those things Elijah
accomplished in the past from the Old
Testament. for they are a forerunner and
a type of the events and accomplishments
of Elijah in this end time generation.
Now down through the years many people
have claimed to be Elijah.
The reason being he has clearly
predicted and prophesied in the Bible to
come back to earth to help restore
Israel just before the second return of
Jesus Christ. In other words, the
seventh trump and the great dreadful day
of the Lord. That's also the seventh
trump. And it is interesting to know
that Elijah never died. Okay? And what
happened was it was this God came down
to earth himself personally and picked
up Elijah and God's personal flying
throne. That's right. and he has a
flying throne. That ancient man
described in the Old Testament as a
chariot of fire. But God's craft is very
clearly described in detail in Ezekiel
chapter 1. And you have to go back to
the Hebrew language to realize this. But
I'm going to give you in English what it
says in Hebrew where it is described in
the Hebrew language by the prophet
Ezekiel who was visited by God in that
flying throne. And Ezekiel described it
as a gleaming, highly polished metallic disc.
disc.
Now that's what it says in the Hebrew.
The Hebrew language will verify all
this. It appeared to Ezekiel, he said,
to be a wheel turning within a wheel,
but it was not flying upright like a
wagon wheel, but rather it was flying
flat like a dinner plate. That's what he
said. He said it was a He said it was
spinning like a whirlwind and it came
out of a great cloud and had fire
shooting out of the center and a
brightness was all round about it. And
Elijah's departure from Earth reads as
follows from 2 Kings 2:1. It says there
appeared a chariot of fire and Elijah
went up by a whirlwind into heaven and
that's where he is today. He's still
there with the father in the glory. A
flesh body can live. He's still in his
flesh body. His flesh body can live in
the glory of God. But he's going to
return. He still has to die. For it is
appointed once for man to die and then
the judgment. And he is going to die.
You've read this. I've just studied this
in Revelation 11. And we just studied
it. He's going to he's going the
Antichrist is going to have him and
Moses killed and they're going to lay in
an open street of Jerusalem and three
and a half days later what's going to
happen? They're going to resurrect from
the dead. So right now he's with God.
He's in a flesh body. He can exist. So
is Moses. Okay. So he never died. But
what happened? God took him. But it is
prophesied that he would return. But
when and why? Turn to Malachi chapter 4.
When and why? Malachi chapter 4. I'm not
going to give you anything. I can't back
in the word. Okay.
Last book of the Bible in the Old
As the prophet Malachi
gives struct instructions to those of us
who live in this final generation. You
ready for a little instruction?
>> All right, here we go. Because
we are going to see right here in this
reading what we are we're going to read
what we're about to see in actuality.
It's close. Okay. Malachi 4 and verse4
God says this. Remember you the law of
Moses my prophet which I commanded unto
him in Horeb. Now, Horeb is the same as
Mount Si. Okay?
For all of Israel with the statutes and
judgments. Question. Let me ask you a
question. Who showed up on the Mount Transfiguration
Transfiguration
with Jesus? Moses and Elijah. Okay.
Moses, the lawgiver of all givers and
Elijah, the prophet of all prophets. One
represents the law, one represents the
prophets. Verse 5. Now look, this is God
talking through this prophet Malachi.
Look at verse five. Behold, I will send
you Elijah the prophet. Say the next word.
word.
>> Before, say the next word, before the
great and dreadful day of the Lord. And
that great and dreadful day is the
Lord's day. And the Lord's day is the
second return of Jesus Christ. How many
knows that? Say >> amen.
>> amen.
>> So there's no question when he's
returning, he's going to return before
Jesus does. And he's going to appear
before the whole world. The whole
world's going to see him. Okay, you got
that? So
he's coming just before Messiah does.
And what's he going to do? I'm talking
about Elijah. What's he going to do when
he returns? Look at verse six.
And he shall turn the heart of the
fathers to the children, and the heart
of the children to the fathers, lest I
come and smite the earth with a curse.
Now listen to what I'm about to tell
you. And don't ever forget I told you
because it's the truth. Any person
that turns the children's hearts back to
the true father by teaching that the
false Christ is coming first is a part
of that ministry. And don't ever forget it.
it.
>> You understand that? Say amen.
>> I'm going to say it one more time.
>> I'm gonna say it one more time. Any
person that turns the children's hearts
back to the true father, God, not the
fake, there's a fake father, his name is
Satan. By teaching that the false Christ
comes first is a part of that ministry,
which means if you understand that,
you're a part of the ministry of the
spirit and the and the power of Elijah.
That's what it means. That's powerful.
And if you have been following our
current series and our study in the book
of Revelation, then you know from
Revelation 11 that Elijah is also one of
God's two witnesses of the end time.
Moses being the other. So Elijah, he's
coming back and I want you to know that.
But there's something else that precedes
his actual physical return. Would you
like to know what it is?
>> Amen. And that thing is the power and
the spirit of Elijah
that will fall on certain individuals
and they will be driven to bring God's
people back to the word of God. I mean
driven. No fairy tales, no spiritual
fairy tales, no no flyaway doctrines,
nothing like that, but driven back to
the word of God and what he said. In
other words, bringing God's children
back to the father. Amen.
Now, both of these things, Elijah's
actual return and the spirit that
precedes him, both of these things
happening in this end generation just
prior to the return of Jesus Christ. And
to see what's about to take place, all
we got to do is look to the past. Amen.
Amen. All we got to do is look at the
past. John the Baptist, let's take John,
let's talk about John the Baptist. We're
talking about the past.
John the Baptist was a forerunner to who?
who?
>> Jesus Christ. Just right before Christ's
first advent. And he came, the Bible
says, in the power and the spirit of
Elijah. Are you listening to me? I doing
that for brother Hagen as he used to say
that to me all. But are you listening to
me? And so let's go. It's a Bible study,
right? So we're flipping out out here
and flipping off over here. So, flip
over to Luke chapter one. Hold your hold
your finger there now. Luke chapter 1.
We're gonna flip around.
In other words, we're gonna flip off
over to Luke 1. Now, flipping off in the
Bible's different than getting flipped
off on the highway. That's a whole
different deal. But this is a good flip
off. Okay.
So, from Luke chapter 1, here's what
we're going to find.
We're going to find God's angel
told Zachcharias who was John's f John
the Baptist father. Now Zachcharias was
a priest inside the temple of God. He's
a high up priest and he's lighting he's
lighting those candles inside there. And
this angel shows up uh to Zachcharias,
John the Baptist's father, which he
didn't have a baby at that point. In
verse 15, I want you to look Luke
chapter 1 and verse1 15. And look what
the angel says to him. And the angel said,
said,
for he John shall be great in the sight
of the Lord and shall drink neither wine
nor stren nor strong drink. Now what
does that mean? That means he was a
Nazerite from birth. He had a Nazerite
vow on him from his very birth. Which
means he would never cut his hair. He
would never cut his beard and he
wouldn't touch alcohol. Okay, that's it.
That's a Nazerite vow. But he had it for
his whole life. And can you imagine by
the time he's in early 30s? He's Jesus's
cousin. They're about the same age. By
the time Jesus runs into him, I mean,
you know, they're in their early 30s.
Can you imagine how long his hair was by
then and his beard and how he smelled? I
don't know how he smelled, but
and he don't run down to McDonald's and
get a hamburger. He's eating a locust
and wild honey. I The guy was different,
right? But he had the anointing of God
on him. So he said, the angel said,
"John shall be great in the sight of the
Lord and shall drink neither wine nor
strong drink. And get this, he shall be
filled with the Holy Spirit even from
his mother's womb." Woo! Yes, sir. 16.
And many. Say, say, and many. And many
of the children of Israel shall he turn
to the Lord their God. Same thing's
going to happen with the spirit that's
coming on us. Same thing's going to
happen. Many will will lead people to
the Lord Jesus Christ. And many of the
children of Israel shall he turn to the
Lord their God. Look at 17.
and he John shall go before him Christ
in the spirit and the power of Elias
that's Elijah to turn the hearts of the
fathers to the children and the
disobedient to the wisdom of the just to
make ready here we go this is us to make
ready a people say it out loud the next
four words prepared for the Lord
and that's what the spirit of Elijah
does when it comes.
Okay? And when the spirit and power of
Elijah came on John,
it did turn the hearts of the children
to the fathers.
What fathers? The fathers of our faith
that wrote the Torah, the Bible.
Number two, it did change disobedient
minds to the wisdom of faith. Number
three thing he did and he did make ready
of people prepared for the Lord. In
fact, John was so much like Elijah that
many thought he was Elijah. Okay? But of
course, he was not and neither are we.
just like it's coming on this generation
to certain individuals who can receive
it. Can you receive it?
>> I can't hear you. Can you receive it?
>> It's up to you. You received Christ,
didn't you? This this spirit, you can
receive this, too. All right.
And this spirit of Elijah, I can tell
you right now, it's a driving
spiritual force
Now, let's go to the Gospel of John
chapter 1.
Now, we're flipping off to John chapter 1.
John chapter 1. And when you get there,
John chapter 1 verse 19. Oh, I forgot
for the folks out in YouTube land. Let's
take a lime break. Are you ready? I'm
taking I'm not even saying it. Here we
go. Lime to life. You know what? I don't
take I missed a rec a lime break three
or four lectures back and I got all
kinds of mail. You didn't do the lime.
What's the matter with you? You forget.
You got so then I had people in the
studio say you got so wound up you forgot.
forgot.
>> Yeah, I did. I did forgot.
Amen. Are you in John chapter one?
>> Are you having a good time?
>> Can you feel the spirit,
>> man? I can feel him. Woo. Don't let
anything hinder that spirit. Don't let
anything hinder that spirit. Greg said
it while ago. Don't let the devil in
your mind. Don't let him in your
thoughts. Run him off.
If he's in your mind playing in that
field right now in that little
playground, run him off in the name of
J. I'll run him off for you. Get out of
here, devil. Run. You're not allowed in here.
here.
You're not allowed in here. John chapter
1 verse 19. And though this is the book
of the Gospel of John, John the Apostle,
when we get to verse 19, it's talking
about a different John. Verse 19 is
talking about John the Baptist. So you
got to keep your John's straight. Okay?
And we're having trouble in our country
with this now. The boys John and and the
girls John. So here, you know, to me it
never was hard. But some people are
confused. I don't know what's happening.
But you got to keep your John straight.
We're in the the Apostle John's writing,
but he's writing about the Baptist John.
Okay? And uh look verse 19.
See, I'm already getting wound up. I'm
already I'm already messed up. My head's
already messed up. I'm so excited and so
full of the spirit. I'm excited.
Verse 19. And this is the record of, say
it with me, John the Baptist. One more
time. And this is the record of John the
Baptist. When the Jews sent priests and
Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, who
art thou? Don't you love the Elizabeth
and English? And we say, "Who are you
anyway?" That's what they said. Uh oh.
Who art? These are some of the big boys
from church headquarters downtown
Jerusalem. Oh, these are the high mucky
mucks. Okay. And what do they want to
know? They want to know who this John
the Baptist is. This hairy freak man
that's down there baptizing people in
the River Jordan. Who are you anyway? 20.
20.
And he, John the Baptist, confessed and
denied not, but confessed, say these
words with me, I am not the Christ.
Okay? I'm not him. Now look at 21. And
they ask him, "What then? Art thou
Elijah?" In other words, are you Elijah?
I know he's predicted to come back. Is
that who you are? They were asking it
back then because they knew they had
Malachi's prophecy.
This is this is Pharisees sent their
buddies down there to ask questions. And
he said, what did he say? Are you
Elijah? And he said, say it with me. I
am not. Well, neither am I, doc. I'm not Elijah,
Elijah,
>> but I qualify for the spirit. So do you.
Amen. You get the point. All right. Art
thou that prophet? Now look, they asked
him again, are you Elijah? I am not. And
he says, are you that prophet? They
asked him again and he answered, Dr. Dr.
Evil. How about no?
>> Say it with me. How about no?
>> You don't know who Dr. Evil is? You
missed a good movie. So anyway, amen.
Look at verse 22.
>> Then said they unto him, "Who are you then?
then?
>> That you may give an answer to them that
sent us here, what saest thyself?" Now
watch this verse 23. He said, "I am the
voice of one crying in the wilderness.
Make straight the way of the Lord as the
prophet Eaas," that's Isaiah, said. So
John, when they ask him the question, is
quoting the prophet Isaiah here, having
to do with the arrival, the first one,
of the Messiah. And he's quoting Isaiah
chapter 40 and verse three that says
this. I am the voice of him that crith
in the wilderness. Prepare ye the way of
the Lord. Make straight in the desert a
highway to God. Ladies and gentlemen,
this same spirit and power of Elijah.
This same
spirit of preparing the way to God is
prophesied to return at and upon our generation.
generation.
And there will be many in that spirit in
these end times. In fact, I see some now
I know will be in that spirit. And I
want you to be aware of the return of
Elijah for one. And I want you to be
aware of the the power and spirit of
Elijah when it and he returns
and re be able to recognize it readily.
Okay, that's what I want you to be able
to do. John the Baptist
though he was neither Christ nor Elijah
was a forerunner to Christ but he came
in the power and the spirit of Elijah
and he was that forerunner of that first
advent in like manner
our generation is also a forerunner of
the second advent of Jesus Christ. We
are also to walk in the power and the
spirit of Elijah also making ready a
people prepared for the Lord. And that's
what dovepoint's all about. That's what
you're all about. So John the Baptist
ministry is a type and a forerunner of
this end generation. And there are types
and shadows all through the word of God.
Listen to what Solomon writes in
Ecclesiastes 1:9.
The thing that hath been is that which
shall be, and that which is done is that
which shall be done, and there is no new
thing under the sun. And what does that
mean? It means God repeats the same
lessons over and over and over.
So we get it. So if you want to see the
future, all you got to do is look at the
past. Can you say amen? It's that
simple. Jesus taught so simply, but
people complicate it, but the word is so
simple when you really understand it. So
in this lecture okay
let us look at the actions of Elijah
for they are type of things that shall
be accomplished in our time. Also the
events that take place in Elijah's life
are the foreshadowed events of our very
own future. You're getting ready to see
our future through this man and his
experiences from the past in this end
generation. And I have no doubt that
we're living in this end generation.
There's no question in my mind. We're so
close. Listen, we're so close to the
second return of Christ. I can almost
smell that white stallion he's riding. I
can smell him. Yeah, I love the smell.
How many love smell horses? I love the
smell of horses. You know, when they're
clean, you know what I'm saying?
So, to see the past, here's what I want
you to do. I want you to turn turn to
First Kings chapter 17 in your Bible.
First Kings chapter 17 in your Bible.
And you're going to have to put your
spiritual thinking cap on here. Okay?
Because we're going to read some things
that happened in the natural. All right?
That are going to point to spiritual
things, brother, that you and I are
going to go through and we're going to
enjoy. I love this brother right here.
Give this brother a hand right here. He
He loves God.
He loved God.
His whole his whole family loves God.
But First Kings chapter 17. Amen. First
Kings 17.
I got to figure out where I'm Oh, here I
am. There we go.
I want to tell you, let this be a very
serious study on your behalf. Let it be.
And remember the word Elijah means
my God is Yah. Take it to heart and
understand what the prophet's about to
say. First Kings chapter 17 and verse one.
one.
And Elijah
the Tishbite. Say that with me. And
Elijah the Tishbite. Now, you know, I'm
looking at that and I'm thinking, what
is this? A sandwich? I don't know what
this is. You know, that's why you need a
Strongs. You all got them. I know you
do. And Elijah the Tisbite, who was of
the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto
Ahab, "As the Lord God of Israel liveth,
before whom I stand, there shall be no
dew, no rain these years, but according
to my word," the prophet's word. Okay?
And there would be no rain. The history
on it is there would be no rain for
three and a half years. Does that ring a
bell with you? Oh, it should be studying
Revelation. Which is a type and shadow.
You got to get this. Of the three and
one half years of tribulation that
Christ has shortened for his elect's
sake to what? Five months.
This is the same three and a half years.
Do you understand? Understand
spiritually what he's saying because
what he's saying in the natural is is
actually is going to happen to us. Okay?
So God's given us this rerun. What's
happened in the past going to happen
again? Here we go. So who was Ahab?
That's a good question. All right. Ahab
was the king of the 10 northern tribes
of Israel. That's who he was. We had the
the 12 tribes split. Uh Solomon was a
great man, but he was a miserable
miserable wretch right before he died
because of the sin he got into, but it
still didn't take away from his wisdom.
But Solomon because of his his uh
fleshly habits he couldn't break uh God
took 10 of those 10 of those uh tribes
away from him and left him with only
two. So the left the ones that were left
with two were Judah and the tribe of
Benjamin. Okay. The Jewish and the and
the Benjamite people. Okay. The other 10
went north and they built their own
kingdom. Samaria was their capital.
Samaria was their mountain, not Zion.
Shouldn't have been, but that's what
they made it. So Ahab is the king of the
10 northern tribes of Israel. And his
wife was, say it with me, Jezebel. Say
it with me, Jezebel. Man, I remember
growing up. I I grew up Pentecostal. I
did, man. And we had music and we did
everything. And they called us Holy
Rose, but I didn't care. You know,
that's that's where I came out of. But a
Jezebel then was different than you
know. How many went raised in a
Pentecostal church? Okay. Yeah. So if
you get in in that in that environment,
if you said that woman's an old Jezebel,
well, she might have had something on
she ain't supposed to be wearing. You
know what I mean? I mean, they'd pick
him to death, right? But anyway, I don't
know why I said that, but I did. So his
wife was old Jezebel, and she was
meaner. I won't even want to say that.
And they were both worshippers of not
God, not Yale. Oh, no, no, no. They were
both worshippers of the false god, Baal.
Okay. said Baal.
>> Might as well just say Satan because
that's who it represents.
And the lack of rain after Elijah's
prophecy created a three and a half year drought
drought
which caused in turn a three and a half
year famine. And now there ain't no
food. Ain't no water and ain't no food.
And Ahab and Jezebel blamed Elijah
because he was God's mouthpiece. Okay?
So now they're hot and bothered about
they're trying to kill him and and they
did try to kill him. Elijah ran, you
know, and he hid out for a while and all
that stuff. You know that story. Now
before we move on,
let's look at this word tishbite. Okay?
It's not a biscuit. All right? In the
Hebrew language, tisbite means recourse.
Say it with me. Recourse.
And to recourse means to find another way.
way.
I could say to find another way to aid,
to find another way to help. All right?
In other words, we have a way as
Christians. We have another way of
action that you may partake of in that
final three and a half years that's been
shortened to five months. For events
shall come to pass exactly as God wrote them.
them.
So under Ahab, Israel is in a very
apostate condition. Apostate means they
deserted their faith and and brought
about a false religion. There's a lot of
that in the world today. Okay? And God
sends Elijah the Tisbite whose very
whose very name means now think about
this. It means my God is Yahw. And he
has made another recourse. You get that?
He's made another way to survive. Glory
to God. That's what we're looking
forward to. All right. So, in other
words, God has made another way to
sustain his people for those three and a
half years of famine. Get the picture?
Do you get the picture? And what's the
famine of the end times? It's the lack
of the teaching of the word of God being
taught in so-called sanctuaries of God.
I said so-called sanctuaries of God.
It's, you'll find it in Amos chapter 8.
It's the lack of the teaching of the
word of God. Amen.
>> Glory to God. Don't get me started.
Okay, I won't. Here we go.
It It me I'll say this. It means
supernatural provisions for God's
elections through Satan's fivemonth
tribulation. All right, can you see the
type and the forerunner here? If you do,
say amen. >> Amen.
>> Amen.
>> Okay, look at verse two. And the word of
the Lord came to him, Elijah, saying,
"Get thee hence." You know, they're
after you, buddy. Get thee hence, and
turn thee eastward, and hide thyself in
the brook Cherith, that is before
Jordan. And it shall be that thou shalt
drink of the brook, and I, God, have
commanded the ravens to feed thee. And
God, listen to this, God is in control
at this time. You see this? And that is
what this is telling you. When he sent
him to that safe place and he sent those
ravens and with the food and everything,
God's in control. Verse 5, so he went
and did according unto the word of the
Lord, for he went and dwelt by the brook
Cherith that is before Jordan. Verse
six, and the ravens brought him bread
and flesh in the morning, and bread and
flesh in the evening, and he drank of
the brook, and God took care of Elijah,
and that was the time of rest for him.
But now, next verse, it's time for
action. We kind of in a rest right now,
but there'll be a day soon that it'll be
time for action. Listen closely to verse
7. You know that's true. And it came to
pass after a while. Mhm. That the brook
dried up because there was no rain in
the land. So, here comes the drought and
here comes the famine on the people.
Think about it. On the people, on the
land, and on Elijah. It's on everybody.
Verse eight. And now it's time for the
supernatural. And the word of the Lord
came to him saying, and you know what?
Think about this. And the word of the
Lord came to him saying, it doesn't
matter how bad it gets, folks. It
doesn't really matter. Take the word of
God and you will always be all right. He
will not let anything happen to you
beyond that which you are able to bear.
Those are his words, not mine. 1
Corinthians 10:13. When you are in him,
that's the stipulation. You have to be
in Christ. Amen. Amen. Look at verse n.
Arise. Now, God's going to talk to him.
Now, catch this. There's a lot of
symbolism here, but it's going to mean
real. It's going to make sense to you.
God says, "Arise, Elijah, and get thee
to Zerapath."
And and Zerapath means see when you
don't he don't throw those words in
there, those names and those places. He
don't throw those in there just so well
over Zerapath. Oh, no, no, no. You got
to get in your Hebrew lexicon and you
got to look up what Zerapath means
because he's trying to tell you
something. Now watch. Arise and get thee
to Zeropath. Zerapath means the smelting
place. Say it with me. The smelting
place. Smelting occurs when metal ore is
melted and separation takes place and
the dross the the impurities are pulled
off leaving only the purest metal
whether it's gold or iron or whatever it
is. And the symbolism here is the separating
separating
through this three and a half years is
the separating of the children of God
from the Ahab types
and those that follow him in these last days.
days.
There'll be a separation. Verse nine,
arise, get thee to Zerapath, the
separating place which belongth to
Zidon. Well, you don't want to read over
that either. What does that mean? And
dwell there. Go to Zidon and dwell
there. Well, Zidon means the fishery.
They say, "Well, I don't that don't make
a whole lot of sense." Oh, yeah, it
does. If you think about it, Zidon means
the fishery. It's those that were
supposed to be fishissures of men, but
instead they turned into a schmelting
place, separating the true God from the
false god, Baal. Does that make sense?
Is that too complicated? It's not, is
it? Okay. Behold, I have commanded a
widow woman there to sustain thee. Who
did this? God was in control. Okay? He
was in control. He did this. And don't
think that things happen by accident.
Maybe this is your very first time that
you've ever watched Dovepoint. Don't
think that's an accident cuz it's not.
God is in control of his elect. Not me,
not you, but him. Amen. Verse 10. So
Elijah was obedient. He arose and went
to Zarapath. And when he came to the
gate of the city, behold, wow, Shazam!
The widow woman was there at the gate.
And what was she doing? Pay close
attention. Everything, every line in
this is important. What was she doing
here? The widow woman was there at the
gate. Say the next two words. Gathering sticks.
sticks.
Question. Is that an accident? No. She
was there at the gate waiting for him
gathering sticks. So what does that tell
you? The widow woman got a word from God
that the prophet was coming. That's why
she was out there waiting and she's
doing something very specific. 56. She's
picking up sticks.
And he's not talking about a campfire.
Okay? And I'll show you this in a
minute. And he called to her and said,
"Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water
in a vessel that I might drink." Okay,
famine going on now. And as she was
going to fetch it, he called to her and
said, "Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel
of bread in your hand." In other words,
I want you to feed me. The prophet said,
"I want you to feed me." 12. And she
said to him, "As the Lord God liveth, I
have not a cake. I don't have any cake
of bread." That's what she said. "But a
handful of meal in a barrel, and a
little oil in a cruise.
And behold, just look, I'm gathering two
sticks." Say it with me. Two sticks.
That I may go in and dress it for me and
my son that we may eat and die.
They were that close to starvation. And
without Elijah's help, no doubt they
would have died. Okay, that's how bad
the famine was. And that states the
case, ladies and gentlemen, for Elijah's
ministry in this end generation for this
woman prepared of God. Listen closely,
is a type of mother Israel.
It's a type of mother Israel. If you're
in Christ, you are in the family of
Israel. Say amen. >> Amen.
>> Amen.
>> Here we go. I'm g read it again. And it
states the case for Elijah's ministry in
this end generation. For this woman
prepared of God is a type of mother
Israel, which is where we came from. And
the two sticks makes it even more clear
when you understand it.
the two sticks that shall be joined into
one stick, meaning the house of Israel
and the house of Judah shall be one
nation again. Now, you don't know how
big that is maybe if you don't study the
Old Testament, but I'll I'll explain it
to you. And to date, these two houses,
the 10 tribes that went north, they went
up between the Black and the Caspian
Sea, and they were running they were
running from Nebuchadnezzar. They had
been slaves in Assyria for 150 years.
And then when that then then when the
Syrians got attacked, they scrammed and
went north between the Black and the
Caspian Sea, they hooked the left. And
what did they do? They populated all
that is Europe now. They're 10 trib. And
then many of them migrated and came on
over here and then filled the Americas.
That's who we're talking about. So it
goes from there and it goes a lot of
places. Okay? Two sticks makes it very
more clear. But listen to this. To date,
these two houses have been separated for
over 2900
years. Fact, historical fact, Bible
fact. And there's only one person and
one spirit and one power that will join
those two sticks before Christ gets here
because that's what it's telling you.
And that is the spirit and power of
Elijah with the help of the Holy Spirit naturally.
naturally.
And it is sent to do what? To sustain
and to maintain. So that all are not deceived.
deceived.
Forget about food. Now thinking about
we're talking about the word. Okay? So
that all will will be sustained and
maintained. So that all are not deceived
but that some should survive.
Spiritually speaking. This is many of
God's children today. So starving to
death for a morsel of bread. just a
little morsel of bread because the
famine of the end time is on and there's
not enough bread coming out of the
pulpit. There's not enough word coming
out of the pulpits to overcome this this
this enemy that we have and it's getting
worse and it's going to get worse. Okay,
I was going to say it's going to get
worseer, but I I' I'd flunk English, but
I who cares, right? Right. So, now watch
the ministry of Elijah continues. Before
I leave there,
talking about this famine of the end
time, have you ever tried to find a
church that actually teaches the word of God
God
>> and does it properly? They're hard to
find. I'll tell you that now. So,
ministry of Elijah continues. But before
we move on, okay, I want us to read the
prophecy of the two sticks,
which is also a a giant end time
prophecy. So turn to Ezekiel chapter 37.
Ezekiel chapter 37. We want to learn
about these two sticks before we go any
further. That way it'll make sense to you.
you.
Ezekiel chapter 37.
Hold your finger now in First Kings.
We'll be back. All right.
Ezekiel chapter 37.
As God gives us great prophecy of the
two sticks to his great prophet Ezekiel,
this is where we understand what's going
on. So if you're there,
Ezekiel chapter 37 and verse 15.
I see here pages turning. I'll wait.
Those of you at home turned your pages.
Here we go. Here we go. Did you hold
first Kings? I told you too late, didn't
I? But anyway, we'll go back there in a
minute. So, here we go. Ezekiel 37
and:e1 15. The Lord, the word of the
Lord came again unto me, saying, verse
16, "Moreover,
thou son of man, take one stick and
write upon it for Judah, and for the
children of Israel, his companions. Then
take another stick and write upon it for
Joseph the stick of Ephraim and for the
house of Israel and his companions. So
one stick says on it the house of Judah
and the other stick says the house of
Israel. Okay. Verse 17. And join them
one to another and they shall become one
stick in thy hand. Think about it.
18 And when the children of thy people
shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou
not show us what thou meanest by these?
In other words, what's up with the
joining of the two sticks? Look at verse 19.
19.
Say unto them, tell them, Zeke, I'm
giving you the prophecy. You tell them,
Zeke, say unto them that thus saith the
Lord, behold, I will take the stick of
Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim,
being the largest of the 10 tribes, and
the tribes of Israel, his fellows, will
put them with him, even with the stick
of Judah, and make them one stick, and
they shall be one stick in my hand. That
means it'll never be divided again.
That's happening. before Christ returns.
And it's not going to happen till that
spirit and the power and power of Elijah
shows up and him personally. Okay,
look at verse 20. And the sticks whereon
thou writeest shall be in thine hand
before their eyes. In other words,
they're going to see it happen. They're
going to see these tribes reunite. Okay.
21. and say unto them, thus saith the
Lord God, behold, I will take the
children of Israel from among the
heathen, whether they be gone, and will
gather them on every side, and bring
them into their own land. 22 And I will
make them, say it with me, one nation in
the land upon the mountains of Israel,
and one king. Now he's talking about now
after after Christ revives and one king
shall be king to them all. And that one
king of course is Jesus. They shall be
no more two nations. Neither shall be
they divided into two kingdoms anymore
at all. And again there is only one
person that can join those two sticks
and that is through the power and the
spirit of Elijah. When you're watching
the news and you're watching Mr.
Netanyahu and you're watching Mr. Trump
talk back and forth and they're working
together trying to get this Gaza mess
fixed. You know who you're looking at?
You're looking at a a king, a president
who's 10 tribe.
That's his lineage.
Like him, don't like him, don't matter.
That's who he represents. Netanyahu
represents the tribe of Judah. We're not
together yet, but we're brothers.
You understand?
There's still a separation between us,
but there's still a coinia there, too.
We always stick with Israel. Israel
always sticks with us. You know why?
Because we're family.
Now, this is getting ready to happen.
Okay? That nation that we're in and that
nation that Netanyahu is in getting
ready to go like this. Bam. It's coming
together. Talk about a powerful
prophecy. Think about that. Amen. Give
it Give the Lord a hand. Amen. [Applause]
[Applause]
Think about the fact that roughly 300
3,000 years of being split, our
generation is going to see the whole
house of Israel, all tribes reunited
into one nation. And they call it restoration.
restoration.
And that is one thing that the spirit of
Elijah brings is restoration. Say it
with me. Restoration.
He's going to bring the restor. It's
going to be the restoration of Israel
and the restoration of families as the
hearts of the fathers are turned to the
children and the hearts of the children
are turned to the fathers. Restoration.
Now, let's flip back to First Kings. I
hope you kept your place.
Hope you kept your place. Flip back to
first Kings 17. Are you enjoying this?
>> And I'm I'm building a house, one layer
of brick after the next, John. I'm just
I'm just trying to get it up to the
rafters here. Okay. Am I doing okay on it?
it?
It's all right. You say, "All right."
It's all right.
>> All right. Let's do lime break. Are you ready?
ready?
I realize this is highly prophetic, but
that's what I do. Okay? That's part of
what I do. Back to first Kings 17. Look
now at verse 13. Here we go.
And Elijah said unto her, the woman,
Mother Israel, fear not. Look at me. I'm
telling you, I don't give a what's
coming up. I don't care who threatens
our country. Who threatens you? What he
says? And Elijah said unto the woman,
say it with me, fear not.
>> Fear not.
>> That's what you fear. Nothing.
Go and do as thou hast said, but make
me, now listen close, but make me
thereof a little cake first. So he's
telling this widow woman, yeah, go in
and fix your read it again. Elijah said
unto the woman, fear not. Go in and do
as thou hast said, but make me thereof a
cake first, and bring it unto me, and
after make for thee and thy son. She
just told him she didn't have enough for
all three.
But you know what he said? You go in and
you make me one first. Well, this is all
I've got. I can't give that. If I give
that, I won't have anything. And that
ain't what the prophet told her. He
said, "You go in and fix one for me
first and then fix one for yourself and
your son." He was telling her, "You do
you do what God's commanding you to do
and you're going to have more than
enough when you get down to your bottom
and you get down to your last and God
speaks to you and said, look, you need
to lay an offering here or you need to
go help this person and you think, man,
I can't do that. There ain't no way I
could do that." If God tells you, you
better go because there's a blessing
tied to it that you don't see yet. You
know what it's called? It's called faith.
faith.
>> It's called faith. Amen.
Let's read it again. But make me
therefore a little cake first. Say it
with me. A little cake first. One more
time. A little cake first. And bring
unto me and afterwards for thee and
afterward make for thee and for thy son.
You do this. He said he was a man of God
and he carried the mantle of God. And
this here here it comes. This was her
first fruit offering.
That's what it was.
Therefore, the two sticks,
the widow woman rejoined,
in other words, therefore the two sticks
are put together. The widow woman
rejoined mother Israel, that is to say,
God's children. Okay, that's the whole
house of of Israel, all 12 tribes. And
the offering first must go, understand,
the first fruits must go to the prophet,
to Elijah. That's what he's telling you.
That was God's command. Okay? Now, if
you're worried any at all about future
events, oh, the mark of the beast and
this and that and blah blah blah blah
blah, let your heart not be troubled.
And let verse 14 bring solace and peace
to your heart and your mind. For the
woman does represent the children of
God. And that's what's going to happen.
Okay? That's what's going to happen.
Look at verse 14. Here we go. For thus
sayaith the Lord God of Israel. Here's
here's what she's going to get for first
fruits offering. He said the barrel of
meal, say it with me, shall not waste.
Say it with me. Shall not waste.
Neither shall the crus of oil. Say it
with me. Fail. It's not going to fail
until the day of the Lord sendeth the
rain upon the earth. And that rain he's
talking about here spiritually speaking
is the latter day rain. Latter day
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. That's
what this is a type of the latter day
out outpouring of the Holy Spirit that
will mature the crop for harvest. The
rain spoken of here is the spiritual
rain mentioned in Joel chapter 2,
Zechariah chapter 10, James chapter 5.
It is the late outpouring of the Holy
Spirit rain that brings forth the
precious fruit of the earth, the souls
of men.
Amen. Amen. Meanwhile, while this is all
going on, we're being sustained and
maintained through the famine. But it's
got, listen,
everything in this book has got to be
done God's way. There is no other way.
Otherwise, it is of the apostasy.
You can't read a little bit here in your
Bible, talking about teachers, and a
little there, and bring about a a
religion that will deliver people by
flying them straight to hell.
>> You can't do it. right into the arms of
Satan the instead of Jesus Antichrist
and it's going to happen and the Bible
says it's going to happen in mass lots
and lots of them going to be lots of
people in school in the millennium you
don't need to be in school you need to
be on top okay all because the word of
God is not being caught chapter by
chapter and verse by verse keeping the
subject and the object straight thereby
bringing the whole of God's word forth
bringing what understanding not
listening to what some man says, not me
or anybody else and what they think, but
listening to the words of God himself.
Now, if I'm bringing you the words of
God, that's okay. But if I veer from it,
that's not okay. You stick with God.
First Kings 17:15. And she went and did
according to the saying of Elijah. She
fed him first. And she and he and her
house did eat many days. In other words,
they were never without. and neither
will you be. For you have the word of
God and every promise that you claim
will be fulfilled as it is promised. You
will be sustained in truth.
I said you'll be sustained in truth. >> Okay?
>> Okay?
Do you have a destiny? I'm asking my
YouTube audience. I know everybody here
does. They know they have one. But do
you have a destiny? And do you have a purpose?
purpose?
And have you known all your life? If you
have, God will sustain you. That's the
open door to election. It sure is. 16.
And the barrel of meal wasted not.
Neither did the cruise of oil fail
according to the word of the Lord, which
he spoke to Elijah. And the meal and the
oil represents the word of God, the true
bread of life. Jesus said, "I am the
way. I am the true bread of life." And
he said, "This is my body. Take it, the
bread, and eat it. Eat all of it. You
take in the word. He is the living word.
It sh it it it it will show you the way.
When you take in the word, it will show
you the way. Man will deceive you.
Sometimes they don't even know they're
doing it. Okay? But God's word's
complete and it agrees with itself, old
and new, and it flows and it melts
together perfectly from cover to cover
which he spoke by Elijah. Verse 17. And
it came to pass after these things that
the son of the woman, the mistress, the
mistress of the house, fell sick, and
his sickness was so sore that there was
no breath left in him. That means he died.
died.
The woman obeyed the man of God. But
here comes the test. You ever obeyed
God? And then you think, well, why is
this coming on me? There's always a test.
test.
And it's important. This woman who had
been fa faithful and obeyed Elijah, her
son died. Does that sound fair? It
doesn't sound fair. 18. And she said
unto Elijah, "What have I do to what
have I do with thee? What have I to do
with thee?" There we go. Oh, thou man of
God? Art thou come unto me to call my
sin to remembrance and to kill my son?
Is that what you're doing? 19. And he
said unto her, "Give me thy son." And he
took him up of her bosom and carried him
up into a loft where he abodeed and laid
upon his own bed. Laid him on his own
bed. And he cried unto the Lord, and
said, "Oh Lord, my God,
hast thou also brought evil upon the
widow with whom I sojourned by slaying
her son?" In other words, Lord, is this
the thanks we give this woman? It's not
too good. Verse 21. And he stretched
himself upon the child three times. She
three times the number of completeness
and cried unto the Lord and said, "Oh
Lord my God, I pray thee, let the
child's soul come into him again."
The word soul in the Hebrew is nephesh
and it and it means the breath of life.
In other words, his very soul let it
come again. The prophet said, in other
words, that soul had already returned to
the father. Do you understand that God's
words but that God's word spoken from
the mouth of Elijah brings the living
breath, not the body, but the soul back
into the body of the boy, which is the
offspring of the mother Israel. You get
the bigger picture there. Okay? In other
words, the offspring of Israel are
brought back to life by the truth of
that one Elijah. There are very few
written words that Elijah himself
actually wrote. But through the hand of
the recorder, we have the life restored.
Listen close. There's a reason. Verse
22. And the Lord heard the voice of
Elijah and the soul of the child came
into him again and he revived. The soul
does not remain in the dead flesh
corpse. It doesn't. Solomon will tell
you that over there. He says that when
as soon as you die, your spirit goes
back to the father and your body goes
back to the dust from whence it came.
The soul does not remain in a dead flesh
corpse. It doesn't. It returns to daddy
that gave it. The body returns to the
dust. And almighty God heard this cry
from Elijah. And this is an example to
show you and me that even as in Ezekiel
chapter 37 when the truth came forth and
God said to Ezekiel, "Prophesy.
Teach those valley of dry bones. They're
all dry. They're dead. They're long
gone." And God told Ezekiel, he said,
"Prophesy." Which means to teach those
dry bones. Teach those people that are
spiritually dead the truth. And watch
those dry bones come to life. And let
the truth bring them to life. bone to
bone, skin to skin, and they became
living souls. Do you understand what
you're hearing here,
the boy was revived by the father
through the teaching of the word. 23 And
Elijah told the child, Elijah took the
child and brought him down out of the
chamber into the house, and delivered
him unto his mother. And Elijah said,
see, thy son liveth. And what is the
lesson that you learn from this type,
from this one that shall return that
will have power of the supernatural at
his request. Listen closely. Verse 24.
And the woman said to Elijah, "Now by
this I know that thou art a man of God,
and that the word of the Lord is in thy
mouth is true." Do you understand? This
was Elijah's credentials. This gave
Elijah his credentials to Israel that
his word which God which was God's word
was able to bring life and and truth
back into the soul of the son for that
widow who is symbolic of Israel. So
shall it be in this end generation. And
that's what dubpoint's all about. And
that's why you all we get together and
we we have like minds and you come from
all parts of the country because we
understand that one verse right there.
That spirit of Elijah will bring the
true words of God back to the people of
God. And what are the credentials? The
credentials the miracles of healing.
What will be our credentials? The
miracles of healing. Not just talking
about it, but actually bonafide
healings. Instantaneous healings.
Okay, that's what this is talking about.
with the power of the Holy Spirit moving
through men and women of God. This is
how it shall be in this end generation.
It's coming. All right. People ask when
is it going to be? It's coming. All
right. And the miracles of healing that
follow the teaching of the truth will be
our credentials as well. Now, let's go
back to the three questions that we
started with in this lecture. Number
one, what was the spirit of Eli? What
would the spirit of Elijah do when it
arrives? All right. The first thing I
see that it does is it brings a thirst
and a hunger for the truth of the word of God. And I'm looking at a whole crowd
of God. And I'm looking at a whole crowd of people. Everyone in here's got that.
of people. Everyone in here's got that. Everyone in here's got that in men and
Everyone in here's got that in men and women's hearts. A hunger so deep that it

God. And you can't put that desire out either because it never goes away. You
either because it never goes away. You want to think about the spirit of

Elijah? I'm telling you, it's already here. It's been on me for a while. I
here. It's been on me for a while. I can't stay out of the word. How about

y'all? >> Uhhuh.
>> Uhhuh. >> That's one thing that I see that the
>> That's one thing that I see that the spirit of Elijah does. Question number
spirit of Elijah does. Question number two was this. What is God's purpose for
two was this. What is God's purpose for sending the spirit of Elijah? When the

Purpose. What is the purpose? Uh that's what its purpose is. that God's people
what its purpose is. that God's people will be sustained. Here's the last
