>> Some winners, man.
>> This is what all the sandals like this
is really in hype with with the summer.
These things go really really really hard.
>> Fresh balls.
>> What do you want more? Then we do the
balls with the Z. Sick branding. If you
don't know these shoes, you are not a
drop shipper. It's that simple.
Just had a massage and that was a really
good one. I can tell you. So, we've been

Yo guys, I was in Dubai for a few days
and uh we just recorded a killer video.
Really that that this video is different.
different.
>> Yeah, bro. This video was different,
man. Like we actually uh made a whole
video where we explained in 3 hours time
how we actually went from zero to 13
million in revenue. But this is the
video again for the Milo lovers. Like we
uploaded some other videos about mindset
podcast, the mastermind that we did. But
now back to the old school Myro and 3
hours of Myro video will be soon live.
Everything what we know we've placed in
this video will be insane. Now Chris is
going to China.
>> Let's [ __ ] get it. We're going to
China. I'm going to fly in 2 hours from
now. And this is also something which I
think is really nice. Look at this car.
It's it's a [ __ ] PJO first. I I
laughed about it. But this is really
what we preach, guys. We We are not here
for the Lambos or for the Ferraris or
those type of things. This brings you
also from A to B. We are just here to
make money and uh give, of course, our
loved ones a comfortable life. So yeah,
you let's [ __ ] get it. He's going to
bring me to the airport and uh yeah,

So guys, good morning. I just arrived in
Shanghai. So basically I'm now waiting
in the tram. So we are going to pick up
the baggage. It's completely empty as
you can see. It's of traveling business.
So that's the nice part. So now I'm
going to meet Thomas. Thomas, my
cameraman. He just arrived as well. So,
uh, yeah, we're going to make it a

Do you really want to tell me what
happened, my friend? Literally, the ball
was so easy, the black ball, and he
tried to to play it in. He had two
chances. Two chances, my friend. And he
tried to do it in once and he failed.
And then after it went to the other
hole, and you tried to bounce it, I
think, and then it went to the wrong

>> Hey guys, in this video we're going to
go to China for a week. This visit is to
visit our suppliers in Ningbo. And
basically what we will do during this
week is that we will go to their
headquarters. That will be on Tuesday.
Uh today is Monday. Yesterday we arrived
in Shanghai. And what we will do there
is also some negotiations of course
thanking them for all the support that
they gave us during the time. So I'll
also show you exactly how that goes and
I will also show you about my
presentation. On Wednesday we will visit
the warehouse. So that's basically where
they ship out all the packages and on
Thursday we will go to a factory. So in
the factory you will see exactly how
they make the products. So that's going
to be really nice. So what we want to
showcase with this is how the process
really works in terms of a supplier
which is facilitating drop shipping. So
that's of course what we are going to
show in this video. For the people that
don't know me, my name is Wesley. I work
together with you and we are running a
Google drop shipping business. We have
around 10 stores live currently and in
the past 12 months we did around 13
million in revenue. So it's going really
good and these visits basically we are
doing them of course to negotiate
because we are scaling up a lot. We need
different terms both front end and back
end of course and that's why we are
recording this video. So we are going to
take you guys along and yeah it's going
to be really nice. So yesterday we went
to Shanghai. So it was on a Sunday. So
basically we took the day off. We didn't
do that much of work. So it's also
really nice of course where you go to
new places to really see where are we.
So yesterday we were walking to
Shanghai. We got some nice lunch at a
hotel was really good. Afterwards we
just yeah stroll through uh through
Shanghai. We saw a lot of beautiful
places. You will also of course see it
in the shot shots. And yeah, we we just
try to to see a bit more about the
culture and we really realized how big
that city actually was. Thomas was
mentioning, okay, I went to New York,
but I think this city is even bigger.
So, Shanghai has like 25 million people.
It was crazy busy. We never saw
something like that. So, it's also very
interesting to see. We also got to see
like all the small food shops. They have
like all the food stands and uh all
different type of local stuff. So, it
was really nice to see. So of course
next to the business also we get to see
some some things in our spare time
because yeah we just love to see new
things. So basically that was our first
day and we finished it off with some
nice dinner also at the rooftop bar. We
just uh took a drink also got to meet
some nice entrepreneurs who who have
like their own podcast. So that was
really nice as well. So also you see
while traveling you get to meet a lot of
new people and that's also of course
very interesting and of course good for
the network. So yeah basically we did
that. We went on time to bed. Now we are
sitting in the van. We are going to
Ningbo. So that's also where the
supplier is based. So yeah, it's like a
2 and 1/2 hour drive and yeah, we will
arrive there probably in like 2 hours
from now. Yeah, then we will just do
some deep work as well as what we did
this morning around like 1 and 1/2 hour
2 hours of work. This afternoon I will
also have some calls and in the evening
we go have some dinner with the big
chief from uh from the supplier that we
are visiting. So uh yeah, it's going to
be a nice day and I will be taking you
along. Ciao. [Music]
[Music]
Yo, brother, welcome in, man. So, we
just arrived at at Ningbo. This is the
hotel. We have Yeah, just just a toilet
here. Very clean room, good bed, at
least, I suppose. So, a nice shower. And
Henry, thank you for this, man. We we
also got the monitor. So, basically, we
have Yeah, very nice room. just uh a
simple setup. Probably my back will hurt
because of these these [ __ ]
but we will see that later. So now uh
we're going to grab some some nice lunch
and yeah, tonight we go out for dinner
with Henry as mentioned. Also do a few
calls. So uh I will also show you guys
what we will do. I'll have a call with
the backend team also go over the
presentation and uh we have a new
onboarding. We got a new team member
from the Netherlands. So that's going to
be really nice. that will be a store
manager so we can expand of course more
and after we will have some nice dinner.
So that's what we are about to do and uh
improve.
>> But what you see what they do, I don't
know if you do it as well. I don't think
so. Is uh they uh they do the Hong Kong
PayPals, right?
>> I know. Yeah. So that's why we we we
also open our PayPal and the ocean
payment for them. >> Nice.
>> Nice.
>> You know, for client. So right now
everybody who want to open sub account
for PayPal, we can also have them on
board. Yeah.
>> Nice. What what is uh for example the
setup fee? What's that?
>> Free. Totally free. I mean
>> Oh, that's crazy.
>> Yeah, I know some uh fulfillment company
they ask for account uh you know opening
account fee like 3,000 or 6,000 and they
charge some transaction fee like 4% or
[Music] All
right, guys. We We just came home. We We
had some dinner with Henry and we got a
>> It's all Chinese. Thanks. I don't
understand anything about it.
I I think some something is in front.
What the [ __ ] is this? So Eric, thank
you, brother. All right, so this is home
delivery. We got two coronas, man.
>> So this is how it works in China. Now we
can close it. And uh we wish this robot
a good good night, right?
>> So we just got two corona sent by a by a
[ __ ] robot by Henry. Cheers, Henry.
For sure. But um we just had some dinner
with Henry. Uh I didn't saw him in a in
a long time. I think the last time was
uh was beginning this year in Dubai. So
it was really nice to see him. We just
talked a lot in general how both
businesses have grown and yeah also
where we see e-commerce going. So really
valuable conversations also really of
course an inspiring person to see and to
talk to. So we just had some good dinner
a lot of a lot of catching up that we
were doing. So tomorrow we will go of
course to to the headquarters. We
discussed okay we are not only going to
go to the headquarters but also tomorrow
we do the the warehouse just in once and
a day after we will do some sightseeing
here in Ningbo. So uh yeah that's
basically what what we are going to do.
So a really really good evening and now
it's time to uh to say cheers with this coronas.
coronas.
>> Good morning guys. We are waiting here
in the lobby. So we are about to be
picked up by Henry. So we will go to the
office. So I will have a very nice
presentation there that I prepared and
afterwards of course we going to have
some nice lunch and we go to the
warehouse to see okay how are the
products actually getting shipped how
many products are there so you will see
a lot and also maybe we will show some
winners for sure so that's what we are
doing today so uh yeah we take you guys along
>> yes thank you
>> morning Thomas
>> good morning
>> welcome to day one let's go do the
office bro let's get it I
I
>> if I come here in 10 years then you have
the whole building.
>> Yeah. Hope I can have a one or two floor
for you bro for your company. Yeah.
>> Yeah. That sounds good.
>> That is a department only for you. You
know we need 200 people to fulfill for
your orders. Yeah.
>> Oh yeah. You need some right now but not
200. That's for sure.
>> Yeah. Which so that's why we need to run
business consistently. Business is a
longtime strategy. So so that's why I
never focus on short-term profit or
short-term relationship. I just want to
value every single client and value that
business. I think that is a good
partnership, right? Because
>> yeah, we cannot just do business for
several months, right? We need to do a
long time.
>> Yeah, we are doing it for years already.
>> Nice to see you.
>> Hey, how are you doing? Nice to see you.
>> Thank you.
>> We just arrived at Day One headquarters.
Henry picked us up and uh yeah, so
basically here you see everybody that's
working to basically fulfill orders,
source products. Henry will tell you a
lot more about it. So basically this is
this is the office where everything
happens, where all the customer contact
of course is and also where where our
team is. So I think it's behind there.
We will see in a bit. Then uh then we
have our team there. Basically we're
dedicated of course to to get our stores
to the next level. So yeah, it's really
nice. We will be taking you guys along
of course and uh yeah we will showcase
you a bit more how everything is going
how they source the products and yeah
basically that's it. Let's get it. So
basically we just received a gift from
uh from the big brother and um and our
team. So that's really amazing uh
amazing to have. So really thankful of
course for that. Also it's funny that
that when you come here you get an
applause. It's really a warm welcome
every time uh you come here. It feels
like uh like home. It's really nice to
know this. So uh let me show you around
over here. All the processing probably
just look like the same is the u what
you have already got last year. We
already on board more client especially
the Google store. Right now a lot of
people they switch their ability to
opening more Google store right now.
This way let's go to the uh team area.
>> But it's really nice to see how fast
everything improved because I remember
when we just started you you didn't know
that much about Google stores yet.
>> Now you see everything is uh is growing
really fast. So this areas is a tada.
Each of our operation team make you may
have 10 to 12 different operators and
each operator they will operate um
probably one to three different client
and each client have different stores
right. So over here all the processing
will be the same. They use this ERP or
software to organize every orders in the
morning time to make sure that the order
checking IDs got well applied and then
we can upload onto the Shopify store.
>> Yeah, that's really nice. It's funny.
This is Yuri and Yuri is really helping
us uh daily with everything. So, it's
better not to turn the camera to the
right because then you will see all the
stores. This is uh this is really
>> this is a really amazing happens in the
back end. I mean in the front desk you
can definitely you know spend release
your hand to keep focus on your
advertising on your selling desk right
but in the back end this is a team who
handle all the orders and products. So
we do the purchasing, we do the um
quality checking, we do the shipping out
which just can work as a really good
support in the back end. We business
what we can do is trying to bring the
best you know products and also give a
really quick response to all the client
to make sure that all processing is
really fast. Yeah, that's really nice.
>> Yeah, but for example with Yuri, we see
so much help that that we receive also
really fast responses and we know also
from other suppliers that we have tried
in the past is that the response time is
very slow. Sometimes it takes a lot of
time before orders get fulfilled and
then then also you have big issues. Of course,
course,
>> that's the reason why we call ourselves
day one. We would like to work really fast
fast
>> since day one until now, right?
>> Yeah. Till now 12 years pass, bro.
>> Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. But you
guys are crushing it with this. That's
>> This is basically uh one of the quote
sheets. So uh Yuri is just uh just
adding quotes there.
>> So how many new products a day? Right now
now
>> we are not uploading really a lot per
day. Currently it depends on the store
because we have multiple stores. But now
currently for for home decor we are
uploading around 25 products each day on
average. And for fashion I think we are
doing 50 per day but that's all
different products for different stores.
Basically we just shift the whole time
with okay we see there we have enough
products or we create a new listing plan
and then we start uploading accordingly.
>> If you look here for example at the
desks everybody has their their really
own workspace. So in the Netherlands
it's really corporate and here you see
it creates a feeling really in the
office that if you see there for example
there are like >> decorations.
>> decorations.
>> Yeah. Decorations like that and like
they have their own setup with different
keyboards those type of things. So
everybody's like yeah really creating
their own work environment which is
really nice which we also of course have
at home as an entrepreneur. So in the
Netherlands it's really strict it's
really uh corporate and here you just
see everybody has like their own work
space so they feel good of course and
perform better. So uh that's really nice
>> This is really nice quality.
>> It is customization uh bags actually.
>> So many times people talk about China as
as if the quality is bad, right? But if
you if you see what type of qualities
for example Apple those type of qualics
is all made in China and look at this
bag, it's it's really really high quality.
quality.
>> Yeah. Time changes. I mean right now a
lot of people started to focus on small
branding. And I'm trying to say the
small branding the quality always come
firstly. So the people are really
concerned about the quality. So I would
say before everybody spend money on the
branding store, they will started to
check according firstly because that is
super important. That is definitely the
first step. This is something that we
can do for you. We can do the sourcing
and also do some sample making until we
improve according and we started do some customizations.
customizations.
>> This is that's the future basically. Now
we we are just selling a lot of fashion
and also for example when we have 1500
products on the store we can't have
perfect quality. is just not possible
when you focus on one niche as you see
here all all the bags for example it
looks really
>> you have a branding you have a DDC store
>> yeah yeah but I like your vision as well
quality first [Music]
[Music]
so guys I mean this is a department that
we would like to uh you know move this
to the whole office into upstairs
because person department also really
important because we have so many
manufacturer need to contact and we have
so many products need to organize So we
just need a really big team to talk to
different manufacturer in China. As a
fulfillment company as you know we are
dealing with a lot of SK every day. So
we just really need expanding our
capacity and
>> it's such a big operation.
>> Yeah. And here you can see how they
communicate with the manufacturers and
how how they organize every products and
talk with their operation team and also
this is a bridge between a client and
the manufacturers. So I mean
manufacturer probably they don't talk to
the manufacturer directly but this
department they just work like a bridge
and they can do the all the
communication and then negotiations over here.
here.
>> So whenever we need for example quality
checks something comes in here they
communicate with with the manufacturer
and we get the pictures.
>> Exactly. So they just buy some samples
and they bring the samples to this
office and they do the sizing check,
quality check like material changes or
something. Yeah. So they need to keep a
close communication to manufacture and
the client as well. This is basically of
course the foundation of your your
business. Getting the products from the
manufacturer with the high quality and
also of course pricing is also really important.
important.
>> Yeah. Once you are scaling up on some
certain items and they will started to
negotiate with the manufacturers and
they will make telephone calls and
probably if you have a really big B
production and we have some guys they
will do the you know business chip and
go to the manufacturer and talk to them
face to face
>> and for example we ask for a quality
check. How does that look like? How does
that process go whenever we ask it?
>> Yeah. Uh from here you can see we buy we
b a lot of samples right and we have a
lot of uh the fake motors over here
right. So we we just want to make sure
that the sizing is suitable to the
European or US market. So to make sure
that all items that we provide is
suitable for the store for the market.
>> So basically here you get the product in
you you put it for example on on a doll
just to cut it like that. You check if
you measure it and you take pictures as well.
well.
>> Yeah, exactly. So, this is how we make
our physical videos, physical images and
based on AI, we have some good, you
know, samples. For example, with the AI
tours, we can take a picture probably
the the images of the items just on the
ground, but you can use AI to put it
onto some models. So, it is looks much
better. I mean it will not change the
material or the looks of the the items
but it just give a better you know
better showing to the um customers.
Yeah, that's really nice and really
important. And also one one other
question. It's funny because I placed on
Instagram like a poster. What type of
questions would people have? And since
of course you do the buying here of the
products, a lot of people were asking
basically how do you negotiate your cost
of goods percentage. So how do you get
the buy price of course from US lower
because you also of course need to save
money here. So basically the question is
how do do we negotiate cost of goods in
a good way? Yeah. With day one.
>> Yeah, that is a really good question. I
would say negotiation in the business is
not easy, right? Especially when you
just started to sell some products. So
if you just launch your products and
just started to sell it, all the
manufacturer in China, they will
rejected to negotiate with you. They
will say you can go to sell that
firstly, right? And then let's talk
about that in the upcoming future. But
any products that is selling more than
10 pieces or five pieces a day, we can
started to have the ability to talk with
them. We say, "Hey guys, this item is
selling consistently and we would like
to buy more quantity. Would you mind
giving us more, you know, percentage on
discount?" They would, you know, some of
the manufacturer they would would like
to looking for more older value. So,
they would like to give us some, you
know, percentage to reduce the prices.
But in China, I would say all the
shipping items that will not be really
high, right? The the value is not that
kind of high. Uh so that's why you know
each time the the discount will not be
that kind of a big probably one or two
R&B but let's get get back to the sell
retail prices that is helpful right so
for each product we can do that several
times not only one time but we will keep
doing this for all the client
>> yeah exactly so basically when you start
selling more you can get of course price
deductions uh in a time but the most
cost with fashion is in the shipping
cost right
>> yeah yeah exactly but shipping cost is
not easy to negotiate because all the
shipping fee to different different
country has already been confirmed
because you expresses or other couries
they were not able to negotiate with
prices every day right they are quite
stable they are really big company they
just want to improve all the shipping
time but manufacturer is the one that
could be open to negotiate with you so I
would say you know to all the client if
you have a winner or hero products you
can tell our team and our team will
started to talk to the manufacturers and
bring down the product cost is our goal
yeah it's the same is our client's opposition.
opposition.
>> So for example with fashion drop
shipping a lot of people do it
especially the the people watching this
from the 100% cost of goods. So let's
say I buy a jacket for example for €20.
How much out of the €20 is really
shipping cost and how much do you think
is product cost?
>> Oh that is a good question actually I
calculate that before around 40% of the
uh shipping cost will be happen. So
around the 40% will be the product cost
because jacket is is quite expensive
right but this is fashion products for
average on the jewelries average
jewelries the products cost will be way
higher but the shipping fee will be
quite low because they are really light
lightweight like say if you are selling
some jewelry necklace or bracelet that
kind of products will cost really less
shipping fee so this is quite reasonable
but it is really based on you know it
vary from category to category but from
fashion is normally 40% on product cost
and 40% on the shipping cost and other
expense will be happening in warehousing
fee, handling fee, m packing material
etc. Yeah.
>> Yeah. That's the other 20%. Okay. That's
really nice. In your opinion, what
identifies a good supplier or a good
manufacturer? I mean, so where do you
look at when you want to spot a good manufacturer?
manufacturer?
>> Okay, that's a really good question. I
would say our whole team, they need to
find a manufacturer that is a good on
communication. they cannot be re you
know implied or unwilling to work with
us because even though that really big
but they're not willing to work with us
or they are rejected on any negotiation
I think that is not a really good
partner right so that is firstly they
need to be a one that is good on the
quality and the second one we need to be
good at the you know communication so
this two conditions is really important
>> that's of course what day one is is
crushing at the moment
>> yeah definitely I mean I just need to
ask my team everybody need to be keep
humble keep you know patient and we need
to handle every cases you know one by one
one
>> and maybe this one is also nice for you
I will I will also share it do you offer
payment processing with the one
>> actually we do actually right now we
already have a really good relationship
with ocean payment with Pepel with
pioneer and our village this is a four
main payment provider that we can
provide to our client and the thing is
that we don't ask any account opening
fee that is totally free
>> so it's 100% free
>> yeah definitely so that's why right now
we don't post that too much but right
now we are trying to uh improve our
service we would like to open this
possibility to all the client so that
moving forward we be on board more
clients own payment provider
>> nice and and are there any requirements
to start
>> I would say only thing is that all the
payment provider they prefer some good
stores right I think you know all the
Shopify stores all the Shopify sellers
they know what what what kind of store
is good stores that means good quality
have good feedback and also good
shipping time and also So we need to
make sure that all products is selling
legally and logistically right. So this
is something you know the pimp provider
asking for. Of
Of
>> course you're running such a big team.
What is in your opinion what are the
most important things to look at when
you hire people. So regarding the hiring
process maybe like top three and what is
most important and also of course to
keep them satisfied and how to treat
your employees.
>> Firstly I would say their ability is
really important. I say for operation
team they need to speak really good
English right and uh for the person
department they need to be really good
at the communication and the second
thing is ability to work together with
their teammates right they need to be
someone that could be work with the team
they need to be someone that is willing
to share their insight or share their
you know work experience with other
people they need to work like a team so
this is second thing the first thing is
that they need to work really hard right
they cannot be someone they work two
hours and uh take a rest for other two
hours. This is um you know affect our
service to all the client because we are
a fulfillment company. So we are also a
service company. So we really need to
make sure that all the service we
provide is high level and efficiently.
So this is three point that I'm always
thinking about to bring new people into
my team
>> and to keep everybody happy. What's what
is the key thing for that you think? We
are a company with more than 600
employees and right now for each week we
just bring more you know just like a
bonus or afternoon tea something like
that we just want to make our young team
to be relaxed to make sure they enjoy
their their working because we would
like to make our company to looks like a
home. So we are a company that you know
spend a lot of money to buy little gift
for our employees on each holiday on
each you know fist war. China has a lot
of festival right. So on each face world
we just spend some money to you know to
bring some gift to our employees because
we value the relationship with client
also we value the relationship with our
employees. This is something make me
happy. I mean make them happy is
something that can make me satisfied
with my job as well.
>> Crazy how you have grown since last year
from 450 people to 600. That's that's insane.
insane. [Music]
[Music]
So regarding sourcing the product since
this is department if if someone for
example wants to find a specific product
they are looking if they can source it
theirelves. So where do you look at and
how do you find it? Just like every day
if you have the new products launch onto
your store and you would like to know
what is the prices what is the
possibility to sell them on the stores
and Yuri we organize everything and they
send a list to list department and they
will started to check in day one's
assistant to see is there any other
client are selling these products before
most important is that this cannot be
any branding items right as long as that
is a wide branding ones you know the
people over here they will started to
give the price back to the uh Yuri and
if you know there is any new products
you know in the list they will started
to talk to looking for new manufacturers
from the market. China is big we have so
many different manufacturers but they
can organize all informations online and
they have several different channels to
find the new manufacturers so they can
started to organize everything and put
the product cost and send it back to
operation team like Yuri and Yuri will
started to do some quotations based on
the shipping fee. So this department
they have no idea about what is shipping
fee but they have clear understand what
is the you know products cost you know
>> how do you calculate your selling price
because of course you get your buying
price so you know for example a price
for shipping you know it's for product
so is it like a formula that you use or
where's the selling price based on
>> actually it is vary from niche to niche
just like a jewelry we just put really
really tight you know handing fee
because we cannot make it that looks
really expensive right so we don't use a
percentage to make our quotations and of
fashion Normally we just put a sh you
know handling fee over there. So our
cost will only come from the four part
of first is product cost as I mentioned
and the shipping fee for the second part
and the third part is the packing
material fee and the first one is the uh
handering fee. But the third one and
first one we only put really tight over
there. Yeah. And some of the shipping
store we don't charge the um you know uh
you know packing material fee because
they don't use branding packages. Yeah.
I still Yeah, but finance is really important.
important.
>> Yeah, it's really important. So, they
have a priv private room. This is my uh personal
personal
>> This is the room from from for the big
chief chief. Here just you know this is
where I have meetings with my uh client
with you. Yeah. So, um
>> yeah, I remember the setup. Yeah, I uh I
remember the the brown chair and the microphone.
microphone.
>> Yeah. Yeah, exactly. every time you know
this is the room that make me
comfortable. So like can I I can spend
all the time over here. I can do the
plane, I can do the analysis, I can do
the uh meetings over here. So uh
compared to my private room at home, I I
prefer stay over here because if I have
any urgencies, I can talk to my
employees directly.
>> But it's really nice. It also gives a
peaceful feeling. You chose uh the right
plans and uh the right decoration.
>> Yeah. It's just a bit hard these days.
Yeah, because of the uh you know just
like you know we also have glasses of
the four screen glasses over here. So if
the you know sun affects the room the
temperature will be behind especially
these days. This is the hottest you know
period during the year.
>> Yeah but you feel it and uh it comes
through the windows even.
>> Yeah. So you're going to be Arnold
Sweager or not?
>> This one will be really really light
bro. I have a really few time to be
doing I need to go drink gym. Yeah, I do
some cycling sometimes, you know, to
keep mind clear, keep the body stronger.
>> Yeah, movement is is key for sure.
>> First of all, of course, I want to start
with a big thank you. So, what we
achieved together since the last time.
Yeah, it's just incredible. So, the the
last time we were here, we already
started to do some nice results. I
remember us sitting as well at the cigar
lounge at that time talking about it.
Yeah, that's just incredible. It
completely changed our lives. the
business has grew a lot. So yeah, of
course, we worked together closely which
resulted in amazing accomplishments I
think for both sides. So the results
that we achieved in the last 12 months
literally changed our lives. So without
Day One, this wouldn't be possible.
These are just achievements by numbers.
That's basically the two main stores. We
have done like 30 million in revenue in
the past 12 months. Basically, we did
everything with uh with Day One. Of
course, without you guys, this this
wouldn't be possible. I think a lot of
suppliers wouldn't be able to, of
course, do these things. So, um,
currently we are doing between 1 and 1.5
million per month. So, yeah, that's of
course a big increase from from last
year. The nice thing is is that we do it
stable. So, over the past 3 months, we
managed to do 4 million in revenue. Last
year, we did I think around this time
between 1.5 and 2 million in revenue.
So, you guys have currently customer
portal, right? What is really nice since
we are doing it of course on a higher
scale is that we see that we are
currently reliant from UI and for proof
of shipment shipping labels and that's
of course causing delays which is very
normal because if we have these delays
it's it's human work that we need to do.
So the portal currently only offers
unexpress uh labels but no DHL or local
labels and that's basically the issue.
So maybe in some time if you can work on
it, we would suggest that we have for
example local proof of shipment, local
shipping label and also POT if we can
download it there it would save of
course Yuri a lot of time in this
situation and yeah day one would only
need to provide of course the proof of
delivery if this isn't possible. So this
results of course in the documents
retrieval more efficient dispute
resolution. So is this something you
guys are going to look into the coming
time or maybe are already
taking this. Yeah, this one is is very
uh very simple. I think we have
inconsistent daily monitoring of RTC
logs in the customer service sheet by
day one. Just proposal is if we can do
daily checks here to just add it to the
routine. That's basically what it comes
The the only amazing part is that 100%
they did she didn't put the amount because
because
>> she said yeah she said she said that you
um you know your customers have a clear
understanding is what is the amount so u
but for the other other part she just
put down all the amount of
>> okay nice maybe is it also possible to
do the 100% I know it's a very small
thing but then they can just I'll check
if everything is automatically.
>> Thank you.
>> So, uh you just did your negotiations
with Henry. What are your thoughts?
>> So, it went really good. I think it's a
matter of giving and and taking, of
course. I will also tell you guys some
example of of the things we went over. I
can't disclose the results that came out
of this, but then you also have a good
impression of where you of course need
to negotiate. So what we talked firstly
about is uh the customer portal access
for proof documents. So as you know when
you have disputes for example with
PayPal we need to have sometimes pods
that's proof of delivery besides proof
of delivery for example shipping labels
those type of things. When we need those
we can download them basically in a
portal of day one which is already
really nice but the issue is there that
they are not local from DHL. So that's
also something that we address. Maybe
they could of course change those things
but it's sometimes more difficult as
than you think. Also what we discussed
for example is with damaged items how we
can really get a good clarity on that.
Okay when something is damaged how is
the compensation looking and when can we
of course apply for that compensation
whenever for example we deliver also a
different size instead of what what
actually was ordered by the customer.
What do we do in those cases? Also for
example regarding RTS sometimes we get
some uh refused issues. Whenever we get
some refused issues also you want to see
okay how can we of course improve that
part to make sure that customers stop
refusing it. Maybe you are being very
strict for example cancellations. So
basically what we want to do with RTS is
how can we make sure that customers
don't refuse the items and make sure
that we pick them up. So how can we
smoothen that process? So we do it also
with parcel panel checking but they want
also on their side. Okay. How can we
make sure that we get a notification as
soon as possible when something needs to
be picked up for example otherwise it
gets returned to the sender. So uh
that's also something of course really
important also what we discussed for
example if something is out of stock and
it gets shipped later. So let's say we
have one item or we get an order of two
items. One items get shipped now the
other item gets shipped later but we
didn't receive tracking link. So it's
really important that we also have that
one of course otherwise the customer is
also thinking okay is the other item
even coming where can I see it etc those
things are also really important and it
seems small but on a big operation that
we are having of course with this volume
it's of course really needed also with
the refund sheet for example we were
missing the actual value just to make it
easier to cross check if things are
going good if we are receiving of course
the refunds that we should so that's
also of course really important also for
the people that don't know it what is
really nice to do is you can always
apply for quantity discount. So what
that basically means is when you get an
order for two items or more you can get
a discount per item. So that's also
really good. We negotiated that part as
well of course to see what is possible
there. Unfortunately we had to give
there and we couldn't take uh because
that was basically the limit that we
already reached. So with day one you can
also ask for that if you are not doing
that and believe me that saves you a lot
of money. also regarding sizing quality
issues. Okay, when can we address
something as a real error and when can
we of course try to fix it? So we also
have just a limit of okay we receive
this amount of complaints about the
specific product then we can ask for
example for a quality check or we can
change the sizing and also change the
label because if we receive for example
let's say 10 times a complaint of okay
the sizing is too small too small too
small what we want to do is we want to
size up so we want to make sure when
they order an S that we deliver an M for
example when we do that we also need to
make sure that if they receive that M
but they ordered an S that the S label
is on there. If that's not the case and
they file a dispute in with PayPal and
they say, "I ordered an S but I received
an M." We lose immediately. So, that one
is really important. So, also make sure
when you want to do it that the label
also gets added to the product so that
you basically size up but it's not being
able to see of course by the customer.
So, that's really really a good one.
Also, the amount of quotes of course we
are scaling up heavily. So, we need to
receive more quotes. We have more
stores, more different niches that we
are tapping into. So that's also a
really important one and also overall of
course lower prices that's that's what
we are preaching for. So basically what
you can do with day one is ask for price
deductions. What you can do is if you
reach for example an amount of sales
daily with your meta stores or with your
Google stores amount of sales in total
you can ask for price deduction. What
they basically do is they talk to the
manufacturers where they are buying from
and whenever they bought from those
before and for example let's say the
price €11 maybe they can deduct it to
€1050 because you already steady doing
sales or did a lot of sales over the
past time. So we have multiple amounts
where we ask for those. It's good to
negotiate yourself with the supplier. So
for example, you can do it when you do
50 sales of the product. You can also do
it again when you did like 150 sales or
250 sales etc. So in that way we also
keep asking for price deduction even if
it's 20 cent but imagine if we sell a
product for example like 50 times per
day and we have like 1.5k in orders for
example and we save 20 cents it's still
a few hundred. So it's really important
that you also of course keep doing that.
So those were the big things of course
that we that we talked about. But next
to that, next to negotiations, what we
are really uh doing here is also
building the bond with the supplier
because of course the better the bond
that we have uh the better the outcome
will be on both sides in cooperation. We
are really here for the long time and we
also need to invest of course in this
relationship. That's also what our
supplier is doing. That's also what we
are doing and that's for us really
important next to those those terms. we
are really here for the long time and
that's uh that's of course most
important. So basically how we started
the presentation as well is just by
recapping what have we done the past
year since we met last year and share
those results thank them for all the
work and afterwards of course uh yeah we
went went into uh the negotiating part
so that's basically what we have done
today their biggest lessons from this is
okay when you are doing things on skill
really get clear for yourself okay which
terms do I need to have to be able to
operate better on that higher skill what
do I really need to scale up can be
finance-wise. But of course, a lot of
terms both back and front end need to be
really good. And basically, if you
negotiate those, this trip will be a
no-brainer and you would get get
everything out of it besides the bond
that you are building with your
supplier. So, that's uh basically it
guys and yeah, now it's time to have
some lunch. So, everybody is always
talking about quality and we ask for a
lot of a lot of products. Also, we get
some hotselling products from a lot of
people that are selling these type of
products on the store. It's just a
jewelry collection which is popping off
with Meta. But what you see on this
small plate and also with this product
with this chain that we are having here,
this is 925 silver. So, the quality is
amazing. So, normally for silver
jewelry, you pay in the Netherlands easy
100 bucks plus, but the buy price for
this one only is €9. So, you can get
really, really, really good quality for
a very low price here in China as well.
So what everybody is saying regarding
quality, oh it's [ __ ] oh people are
drop shipping, it's [ __ ] they don't
know anything about it. So maybe the
fashion, okay, it's a bit less in
quality, but you can get really, really
high quality products here in China as
well. So that's what I wanted to show
We just arrived at the warehouse. So
Harry is putting away his car. So you
will be here in a minute. So this is
basically where they will quality check
all the products. They will prepare them
for shipment and afterwards of course it
gets put on the pel and a uni express
for example another carrier will pick it
up. So everything gets shipped from
here. This is one of the four warehouses
if I say it right of day one. So we will
be checking yeah how that process of
course is going. So basically when we
walk through here at the end you will
100% understand exactly how the whole
process is going in regards to
fulfillment and also uh we will spot
some winners. So that's going to be
really nice for sure. So this area is
area that we have to collect all their
inventory from the manufacturers and the
manufacturers send the inventory to
here. No matter that is a bark shipment
or the shipping parcels, we just sign
everything over here, collect everything
over here and then we will move every
single parcel to this area that is
called inbound area because we need to
inbound every single items, every single
parcels we need to unpack them and doing
the quality checking. So here is a
processing but the area staff they will
unpack the parcels and check the
quantity or colors or the sizes is is
the correct one we ordered and then when
they move to that area for quality
control. So yeah here we go. You can see
a lot of u you know staff is working
over here. They just want to unpack
everything to make sure that we collect
the correct things. If we got some
problem, let's say manufacturer said
less items or send the wrong items and
this department they will contact with
the person department to um ask for some
conversation and they will talk to
manufacturers and they will return the
wrong items back to manufacturer as well.
well.
>> So basically everything comes comes here
>> they unpack everything it goes there on
on that counter and then afterwards it's
there. They go for quality checking.
some winners, man. This as well. All the
sandals like this is really in hype with
with the summer. These things go really,
really, really hard. Look also how much
shoes here arrived. And this one, this
one as well. As a drop shipper, you must
recognize this one for sure. This is
really hot selling. And you also see how
many products come in here. This is
really the yellow one you see there.
That one was called Emma with one of our
stores. I remember it because that uh
that sandal sold really well. They they
all sell really good. So, here you also
see if you see a lot of quantity of a
specific product, you already know it's
hot selling, right? So, they have all
boxes full with with shoes. So, uh we
know what to list. That's for sure. It's
my new bestseller. [Music]
[Music]
And also, we switch the packages for
this low quality products. The packages
we don't use that and we we just switch
it into the better one. So, that one
looks better, right? So yeah, we just
use some, you know, white branding,
fancy material to pack our items. So we
don't use any China tax or China letters
packaging. We just use really better
ones. And here you can have a look, you
know, how they check the package. Even
though that is some original packed
items, we still open that and we could
check them one by one. So no matter how
many parcels we are process, every
single item, we will check them all.
Yeah, that's amazing.
>> All the details. This is how we value
our single orders.
So basically what you saw her doing in
the beginning, she put like the soles
against each other to see if it's of
course the same size and they pay
attention to like all the small details
and this is also what Henry just said
differentiates them from other
companies. I also visited another uh
factory or not a factory, it's a
warehouse last year and they didn't do
the quality control this specific. So
they just look into like all the small
details just to make sure the customer
doesn't get like damaged good or
something. So really the eye for detail
is really important here. So these
quality checks really differentiates
them of course from others. So this is
really important and of course also you
will see it back in the refunds. So this
is really nice. So here they check
literally every package that comes in.
They check just manually to see okay is
it the right size? Do we have certain
defects that are visible and of course
sometimes you miss a thing but this is
really unique about day one. That's for
sure really important.
What Henry was was mentioning is there
they hold basically all the stock for
the winning products. So you always have
processing times. Normally it's like 1
to 5 days for example, but here they
just buy stock whenever something is
selling really good to make sure we cut
out that processing time and we can ship
faster to the customer. So uh that's a
really really valuable one for sure. So
this is a safety stock area. So listed
warehouse is mainly about inbomb. So
they just collect everything and do the
quality checking. So after quy checking
that we go to next warehouses for pick
and pack. They need to do the pick to
match the oders and then we ship them
out. So upstairs is many for storage. I
will show you later. But this warehouse
is many for the picking a pack. So that
means they will uh this kind of uh
orange stuff. They will do the pick and
pack. They will try to get all the items
they need from the PDA. The machine in
their hand is called a PDA. They will
tell them what is the position of the
items they need. So they will lead them
to collect all the items and put it into
the basket or ship like this. And then
we sent to this area and this area is
called the packing area. They will ship
them out. Yeah,
>> really nice quality for sure. It's also
electric. Probably you got some massage
functions and it's nice. Here you also
spot a lot of winners. You see here some
uh some products here for example. Just
some shampoo. And this is plant-based
shampoo. So that's really nice. Here you
see all different types of products.
It's insane. Here as well probably this
is a pillow or something. We should blur
the brand names that's for sure. But
here you see it's really uh really
interesting to see because this is the
pillow itself and this is the pillow
cover. So you see also how they pack it
and how it looks. If you close up on
this, the material looks really nice.
Also the way they package it. This can
be just in a regular store. It's really
nice. So let's put some more winners. [Music]
[Music]
This is also interesting because what
you see here is that they created a set
of electronic product also. Let me see
what this is. It's like a collagen uh
type of product and some oil. So you see
how they they make it. And if you look
here, this branding is really nice. You
see all the colors and edge. It looks
really really premium. Next level.
So here is you know the packing table
here and we have four warehouses. So
that means we have a four different you
know packing processing line like this.
And here you can see we bring a lot of
branding thank you card branding
packages over here. Right now a lot of
jaw shippers they started to move from
just shipping into the branding stores.
So that's why we are you know deeply
need the branded packages. So this is
something that day one can help provide
because we can customize a lot of
branding packages and uh to ship them
the oldest out with the branding
packages. So this is something that we
can do even though that is branding
items but we can still use a lot of
branding packages over here.
So there we can show the logo but it's
just u they can basically do oh here's
one product calling they can do the
outer bag inner bag thank you cards they
can basically customize everything which
of course creates a way best a better
customer journey so that's really nice
and also of course they want us know
if you don't know these shoes you are
not a drop shipper it's that simple
as you basically see there the shoes and
now if you film they have like all
different types of packaging for each
type of product. So now they will put it
in bubble plastic.
Now basically they add it in a bag. So
that's also a gift just a small backpack
to wear and now they put it in the
customized packaging. So the customer
journey is really nice. It's packaged
well. The product will of course arrive
well at the customer. It will be coming
in in a very nice bag and also some uh
some branding on there. So in this way
of course less returns, better customer
journey, higher satisfaction, you name
it. It's a game changer for sure. carry
the parcels out to the airport. So no
matter which carriers they will drive
the cars over here and they carry all
the green passels to the Shanghai
airport. So over there they have a
facility over there. They will do the
all the collection over here. So once
they carry the password to Shan airport
the checking information will turn out
to be active. That means the pass is on
for this warehouses is just one of our
four warehouses. But this warehouses,
they can fulfill around 50,000 orders
per day. Yeah. So, but we will make sure
that no matter how many parcels we are
fulfilling every day, we just make sure
all the parcels are shipping out really
quickly. So, the consumers does not need
to wait, right? So, this is, you know,
what is our processing time and what is
uh, you know, the reason why we call
ourself day one. since day one.
>> You know, if you have any, you know, a
burke inventory want to ship it over
here, we keep on upstairs because we
need to make sure that the downstairs as
big as enough. But if you have any
customizations, if any client would like
to ship a big amount of quantity here,
we just keep inventory upstairs.
>> Yeah, that's really nice. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. It's like a pillow, but the way
way it's packaged, it's really nice. Are
a pregnancy pillow or not? Yeah, this
already be uh packed in the
manufacturers and ship it like this. Yeah,
Yeah,
>> but it's already really nice. But do you
remove this since it says made made in China?
China?
>> It is definitely depends on what a
client need. If they need us to remove
it, we definitely use another packages.
>> And how does it work when you want to
buy broke stock with you? It's just like
you talk to manufacturer or you can ask
us to talk to manufacturers and we
confirm the order quantity and it
started to uh you know push the
production and once they complete the
production they will ship the large
quantity to our addresses and we will
keep the bark shipment over here
probably 100 or 200 cents whatever and
then every day if you have open orders
we just move the uh inventory from
upstairs to downstairs and then we can
started to ship them out for daily orders.
orders.
>> What is the main benefit of buying stock?
stock?
>> It will be faster. Let's say the
processing time can be shortened into 24
hours because we don't need to wait for
the just shipping manufacturers send us
the inventory. We always have inventory
right and once the inventory is running
out that means it's going to be sold
out. We will started to you know do
replacement right you can replace the
order to the manufacturers. So moving
forward it is just like a positive
recycle. You always have inventory at
hand. So you don't have to wait and the
processing time the shipping time will
be faster and also if you buy a large
quantity that's means you are order more
quantity to manu from manufacturers and
you have a better position to negotiate
with a better prices with them. This is
meaning to do a branding packages. Yeah.
>> This one's hot selling hot hot hot.
>> But the quality as well is really good.
>> Yeah. You know to dance sales that means
this work they sold three pieces today. Yeah,
Yeah,
>> they will move downstairs. The packing
staff when I scan this labor, the
shipping label will come out.
>> Yeah, these uh these watches I also
sold. It's also crazy to imagine how
much products you can source from
watches to pillows to dresses to shoes.
It keeps going and going and going. It's
crazy. Everything is here.
>> They always come here. They check the
wire. It's is tanglish and also
everything is safe and also you are
doing the business correctly. they will
they will care about are you selling any
infringement items or something so
that's why from the very beginning I
don't do any infringement or claim
business yeah
>> yeah but I think it's really good
because before we uh we were with CJ for
a short period of time they had a lot of
items where they said I can't fulfill I
can't fulfill due to the brands on there
so you go boss those type of products
yeah you see it too much in my opinion
it's crazy so you be careful as well then
then
>> yeah definitely we really strict on this
part yeah
>> for your source ing team just whenever
something states just Yugo boss, Yugo
boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Goyard, Louis
Vuitton and also for jewelry like Carte
and those products they are being sold
the most.
>> I know some shippers they like to put
that onto the store because they easy to
make orders, right? But the payment
writer cannot does not like it. And this
area is the area that we pack for the B
shipment for Amazon. We have Amazon
department and the latest do query
checking over here and we can arrange
the ocean shipment and the trans
shipment for our client to ship the
So this was the biggest warehouse. They
process 50,000 literally 50,000s of
parcels every day here. In total I think
they do around 65 to 70,000 parcels per
day. So that's insane. So this is the
biggest one. Now we go to the next one. [Music]
[Music]
Dennis, if you're watching, we are going
to expose your brand here. No, just kidding.
kidding. [Music]
[Music]
>> We just got back from uh from visiting
the warehouse. My ass is sweaty, my back
is sweaty, everything is sweaty. So, I'm
looking forward to the cold shower. But
we also got two presents from uh day
one. So, that's also really nice to
show. So before we take that cold shower
which we are really looking forward to
uh I will unpack these things. It's
really nice of course to see what we
actually got. So also of course we got
some uh some presents for the people in
day one especially for Adah Yuri our
team members there and also of course
for Henry and Alex his business partner.
So let's see what we got if it opens. Tension.
Tension.
I think I opened it the wrong way. So
basically we got a very nice mug of
course day one we are there also since
day one. So that's a really good one. We
got some nice pen also of course with
with the branding and we got some
notebook. Oh this is by the way really
nice one. This one uh we will definitely
write some ideas in on the way to home
in the plane and maybe in China itself.
So really nice gesture of course. Let's
see what the other one is about. So this
is some Chinese tea. So I got this also
last year and bro this tea is really
next level. This is some premium ass
tea. So you basically have a bag in here
for example this is called brewing
hints. Now you have all the instructions
here what is in there and yeah for me
since I I don't read Chinese it's a big
guess what I will be drinking but uh
every time it was really nice. This is
basically a case where you get all
different taste. So you can just taste
Yeah. All different types of things. So
really nice from so thank you brother. I
appreciate it. Now we we arrived of
course back to here. I will take some uh

>> Look at this. This food is so special.
Everything is uh is really local from
here. It's so good. Really, it's it's
one of the best things I ate in a long
time. So, uh
>> what do you like most? Oo, I think the
fish to be honest, it's like a red bass,
something like that. It's It's next
level. It's It's really good. Everything
has such a good taste and the nice thing
is they get like more taste out of out
of the food itself instead of that they
just change it with with sauces or
anything. So, it's it's next level. And
also besides that, I also like like this
little friend. So, we are going to
So, we are going to have a massage now.
So, uh lights out.
>> No, just kidding. We are We are just
having a traditional massage. So, it's
going to be really nice. Henry will will
take a foot massage. We we will take the

We just had a massage and there was a
really good one. I can tell you. So I'm

massage. He also enjoys it, right? Was
it good?
>> I'm I'm on Y up there now. I think it's crazy.
crazy.
>> Flying my brother. >> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> So, we just came back from uh from the
massage was a was a really good one.
Yeah. Now, very tired, of course. Had a
long day. Yeah. Good meeting at at the

warehouse that you guys also saw. So, uh
yeah, we will keep it short, of course.
Time to go to sleep. Tomorrow, we will
visit the temple, which is uh going to
be really nice. So, taking you guys
along. We will do some more sightseeing.
So, um, yeah, really curious, of course,
what Ningbo has to offer because last
year I was here, it was only business.
Basically, we didn't do [ __ ] And, uh,
Thursday we have something really nice
upcoming, but I won't I won't tell you

with breakfast and see you guys then. Ciao.
Ciao. [Music]
[Music]
Where are we? I don't know, man. I
really don't know where we are. We are
looking for the temple, but it seems
like a hidden temple because we aren't
able to find a way, but it's crazy.
Behind every door, there's there's
something new. It's insane and
everything is so big. It's it's crazy.
So, we are in search of the temple. So,
hopefully uh yeah, you will see it in a bit.
[Music]
This is not hot at all. That's for sure.
>> This is a gift from God.
>> Yeah. Yeah.

precious one. I think there's not one
place that is not sweaty right now. This

wet dream. So, we came literally from all the way down and now we need to go
all the way down and now we need to go all the way down. But up as well, of
all the way down. But up as well, of course, is uh it's a bit more tough. And
course, is uh it's a bit more tough. And we are going to treat ourselves with a
we are going to treat ourselves with a nice cold drink. That's for sure.
We just finished dinner. We we ate some traditional Chinese food just here in
traditional Chinese food just here in the hotel that that we are staying. And
the hotel that that we are staying. And I also wanted to share of course
I also wanted to share of course yesterday we did a visit to the
yesterday we did a visit to the warehouse. And what is really important
warehouse. And what is really important when you look for a supplier because a
when you look for a supplier because a lot of people are asking this. And what
lot of people are asking this. And what I think are the most important points is
I think are the most important points is first of course communication. The
first of course communication. The English needs to be good. Responses need
English needs to be good. Responses need to be fast. That's really key. And also,
to be fast. That's really key. And also, of course, we need to be able to talk
of course, we need to be able to talk about certain terms. That's of course
about certain terms. That's of course the second point. How many quotes are we
the second point. How many quotes are we getting? When can we ask for quality
getting? When can we ask for quality checks? You name it. So, the terms are
checks? You name it. So, the terms are also really important to look at. Also,
also really important to look at. Also, of course, the back end. So, how is
of course, the back end. So, how is everything working together with your
everything working together with your team? We of course have customer
team? We of course have customer service, we have supply chain, maybe we
service, we have supply chain, maybe we have some issues with orders, address
have some issues with orders, address errors, pickup errors, you name it.
errors, pickup errors, you name it. That's really important. And last but
That's really important. And last but not least, pricing of course is also
not least, pricing of course is also important. So if you are running for
important. So if you are running for example currently with a supplier and
example currently with a supplier and you think okay not everything is really
you think okay not everything is really good and you want to go to another
good and you want to go to another supplier always try to negotiate with
supplier always try to negotiate with the prices you have already if the ones
the prices you have already if the ones that you are getting from the new
that you are getting from the new supplier are higher of course otherwise
supplier are higher of course otherwise you want to keep them for yourself. So
you want to keep them for yourself. So that's what I wanted to share. So
that's what I wanted to share. So basically we stay uh we stay here for
basically we stay uh we stay here for tonight we take some rest tomorrow
tonight we take some rest tomorrow morning early we go to the manufacturer.
morning early we go to the manufacturer. So that's going to be uh really nice and
So that's going to be uh really nice and we will be taking you guys with us for

Good morning guys. We uh we just arrived at Yu if I pronounced it right otherwise
at Yu if I pronounced it right otherwise my bad. We havedrived for for around 3
my bad. We havedrived for for around 3 hours. Basically what we are going to do
hours. Basically what we are going to do today is visit some factories for some
today is visit some factories for some products that we are selling. So we just
products that we are selling. So we just wanted to do some quality checking and
wanted to do some quality checking and to see of course how is everything going
to see of course how is everything going there. So I'm really curious. We are now
there. So I'm really curious. We are now standing in front of a factory. So to be
standing in front of a factory. So to be honest, not not really sure what to uh
honest, not not really sure what to uh what to expect. For me, this is also the
what to expect. For me, this is also the first time. So, this is factory one of
first time. So, this is factory one of the three. We'll be visiting three
the three. We'll be visiting three factories. After that, we're going to
factories. After that, we're going to grab a quick lunch. So, uh yeah, we'll
grab a quick lunch. So, uh yeah, we'll be taking you guys along. No blurring or
be taking you guys along. No blurring or anything. We just show you how it is.
anything. We just show you how it is. Ciao.
So, basically what they have here is uh a lot of pictures about other products.
a lot of pictures about other products. This is jewelry that they produce. So,
This is jewelry that they produce. So, we see a lot of things here. Also, for
we see a lot of things here. Also, for example, here we have some small rings.
example, here we have some small rings. We have all different types of things
We have all different types of things here. Also, for the ones who love the
here. Also, for the ones who love the stones, we also have those, of course.
stones, we also have those, of course. So, there's a lot a lot a lot here. So,
So, there's a lot a lot a lot here. So, this is basically where they store
this is basically where they store everything. Also, if you want the flex
everything. Also, if you want the flex brother, you can have some nice gold
brother, you can have some nice gold chains. These are basically all samples
chains. These are basically all samples that they have of all different types of
that they have of all different types of of jewelry. So, here after the wall,
of jewelry. So, here after the wall, they have even more. So, they have
they have even more. So, they have literally hundreds of different jewelry
literally hundreds of different jewelry that they produce here. Can you also ask
that they produce here. Can you also ask what is uh the best sold items?
>> So bracelets colors change. They have different colors. That's nice. They also
different colors. That's nice. They also have the the red inside the stone. Yeah,
have the the red inside the stone. Yeah, I think that's what he means. Like every
I think that's what he means. Like every month it's like a different color. It's
month it's like a different color. It's like uh for the birth month or
like uh for the birth month or something, the special jewel, you know,
something, the special jewel, you know, for to correspond with the birth month.
for to correspond with the birth month. Each month they change the color.
Each month they change the color. >> So here they uh they have their little
>> So here they uh they have their little studio. So here someone is editing a
studio. So here someone is editing a ring and there they basically make uh
ring and there they basically make uh make make the pictures. So it's also of
make make the pictures. So it's also of course very important that the pictures
course very important that the pictures of the of the jewelry itself are on
of the of the jewelry itself are on point. So this is the place where they
point. So this is the place where they make all the jewelry. So I think
make all the jewelry. So I think everybody else is making something
everybody else is making something different. So here someone creating
different. So here someone creating rings there someone is creating
rings there someone is creating necklaces. So this is basically it's a
necklaces. So this is basically it's a small factory I think but uh people
small factory I think but uh people bring their kids as well. It's not that
bring their kids as well. It's not that they use them for work. They are making
they use them for work. They are making a lot of nice things here. So everything
a lot of nice things here. So everything looks good. Also conditions I think are
looks good. Also conditions I think are really nice.
This is really interesting. So basically for all the jewelry what is needed is to
for all the jewelry what is needed is to make a mold of course to make the
make a mold of course to make the materials. So here you see all different
materials. So here you see all different types of molds and there they are
types of molds and there they are creating the mold. So basically when you
creating the mold. So basically when you want for example a certain shape of a
want for example a certain shape of a pendant or anything they will create it
pendant or anything they will create it here. So of course the team in the other
here. So of course the team in the other room where we just work can make uh that
room where we just work can make uh that specific pendant. So it's really nice to
specific pendant. So it's really nice to see. Again, it's really small. Of
see. Again, it's really small. Of course, only a few people working, but
course, only a few people working, but uh looks good. Nice air go. I love it.
uh looks good. Nice air go. I love it. >> This and then they cut off this bottom
>> This and then they cut off this bottom part. It's only a ring, right?
part. It's only a ring, right? >> It's just a ring, but that's kind of
>> It's just a ring, but that's kind of like part of the mold. And once they go
like part of the mold. And once they go through the first step, they cut off
through the first step, they cut off that
that >> and then goes to the finishing step.
>> and then goes to the finishing step. >> Basically, only this part, the ring
>> Basically, only this part, the ring leaves. So, the stick with the two small
leaves. So, the stick with the two small sticks, they they go away right here as
sticks, they they go away right here as well. These are are rings of course. So
well. These are are rings of course. So if you look here, this one if they
if you look here, this one if they create a ring like this with silver and
create a ring like this with silver and they can put the stone in there for
they can put the stone in there for example. So that's how they make the
example. So that's how they make the >> M.
>> M. [Music]
>> Yeah, it's amazing. That's what I mean. Like when when you mentioned how like
Like when when you mentioned how like working conditions in some places, like
working conditions in some places, like there's just so much manufacturing in
there's just so much manufacturing in China that like you can pass by so many
China that like you can pass by so many factories and never know it cuz they're
factories and never know it cuz they're just like small offices like this and
just like small offices like this and they're they're doing like 8,000 orders
they're they're doing like 8,000 orders a day of different sizes and they're
a day of different sizes and they're they're probably making millions in
they're probably making millions in revenue. But you never know, you know,
revenue. But you never know, you know, it's just so many small places. is they
it's just so many small places. is they don't look very special, but like they
don't look very special, but like they they're more than capable of producing
they're more than capable of producing like what they need.
like what they need. >> The bigger ones are most of the times
>> The bigger ones are most of the times less flexible, right? Because they have
less flexible, right? Because they have like all the processes very high skill,
like all the processes very high skill, of course.
of course. >> So, it's like a give and take. The small
>> So, it's like a give and take. The small small hungry ones are more willing to
small hungry ones are more willing to adapt and then the big ones like you
adapt and then the big ones like you said, they have their systems already in
said, they have their systems already in place where it's a little less flexible
place where it's a little less flexible sometimes.
sometimes. >> So, we had a quick visit to uh to the
>> So, we had a quick visit to uh to the factory. So it was a very clear process.
factory. So it was a very clear process. So basically what they do is they design
So basically what they do is they design the new products. Also me for example as
the new products. Also me for example as a seller I can also send my designs to
a seller I can also send my designs to them afterwards they can make a mold and
them afterwards they can make a mold and I can also choose for example which
I can also choose for example which material I want to be used. So for
material I want to be used. So for example if I want a silver ring just a 9
example if I want a silver ring just a 9 to5 silver ring I can also let them know
to5 silver ring I can also let them know and then they create basically a mold
and then they create basically a mold then they start creating a sample with
then they start creating a sample with the material that we have picked out and
the material that we have picked out and from there on we can see if everything
from there on we can see if everything is good and then we can start producing.
is good and then we can start producing. So to really customize anything, for
So to really customize anything, for example, a different stone or a
example, a different stone or a different material, you need to have an
different material, you need to have an MOQ that's a minimum order quantity of
MOQ that's a minimum order quantity of 300 pieces and that's per size. So some,
300 pieces and that's per size. So some, for example, a ring or a necklace can
for example, a ring or a necklace can have also a one size. If that's the
have also a one size. If that's the case, you only need to order 300, but
case, you only need to order 300, but let's say you have a ring with 10 sizes.
let's say you have a ring with 10 sizes. Basically, you order 3,000. Or of
Basically, you order 3,000. Or of course, if you have more orders of a
course, if you have more orders of a specific size, you can of course order a
specific size, you can of course order a bit more there and a bit less on others.
bit more there and a bit less on others. So that's basically how the process was
So that's basically how the process was going. Was a really nice factory. Also,
going. Was a really nice factory. Also, of course, as we hear in the west,
of course, as we hear in the west, there's a lot of people saying, "Okay,
there's a lot of people saying, "Okay, maybe the conditions are not good, blah,
maybe the conditions are not good, blah, blah." But here, yeah, really surprised
blah." But here, yeah, really surprised with the conditions. Eco was uh as good
with the conditions. Eco was uh as good as in my hotel room. So yeah, basically
as in my hotel room. So yeah, basically a really nice factory. I really really
a really nice factory. I really really liked it. So yeah, that was it. Now we
liked it. So yeah, that was it. Now we go on to the next one.
go on to the next one. >> We just arrived at the second factory.
>> We just arrived at the second factory. So um yeah, let's see what we have here.
So um yeah, let's see what we have here. So currently we have this very big
So currently we have this very big building. Sometimes it looks a bit like
building. Sometimes it looks a bit like an apartment complex, but when you go in
an apartment complex, but when you go in there like the whole floor is basically
there like the whole floor is basically for or one factory or one warehouse. So
for or one factory or one warehouse. So let's find out what is in there.
>> Pretty shop. >> You can have a look.
>> You can have a look. >> Thank you.
>> Thank you. >> You can take a look.
>> You can take a look. >> Thank you. This is one of of the best

Looking really nice. What material is this?
He put on GPT. So basically it's translating all the English to Chinese
translating all the English to Chinese and the other way around. So it's it's
and the other way around. So it's it's really funny cuz we hear every single
really funny cuz we hear every single word. It's glass. Glass. What material
word. It's glass. Glass. What material is the ring itself next to the stone?
is the ring itself next to the stone? Oh, okay. Clear. Zinc alloy. So let's
Oh, okay. Clear. Zinc alloy. So let's say we want to adjust this ring to for
say we want to adjust this ring to for example from zinc alloy to silver or
example from zinc alloy to silver or stainless steel. Is this also possible?
stainless steel. Is this also possible? And what would be the MOQ?
thousand. Okay. And is this per size or is this just for one item and you can
is this just for one item and you can divide the amount? For example, this
divide the amount? For example, this thousand by five sizes. So 200 each
thousand by five sizes. So 200 each size.
size. >> No, no, no. One
>> No, no, no. One >> one. Okay. So whenever I want to adjust
>> one. Okay. So whenever I want to adjust this ring from zinc alloy to silver, I
this ring from zinc alloy to silver, I need to buy thousand pieces per size to
need to buy thousand pieces per size to have it adjusted. Right. It's not
have it adjusted. Right. It's not possible to make this ring in silver,
possible to make this ring in silver, but probably in stainless steel. So, you
but probably in stainless steel. So, you mean you can make it in stainless steel?
mean you can make it in stainless steel? >> They can't. They only make the materials
>> They can't. They only make the materials he mentioned. Yeah.
he mentioned. Yeah. >> Okay. Only zinc alloy. So, it's harder
>> Okay. Only zinc alloy. So, it's harder to customize here.
to customize here. >> Find a new factory if you want to change
>> Find a new factory if you want to change the materials and stuff.
the materials and stuff. >> Yeah. Exactly.
>> Yeah. Exactly. >> But like with most factories, if as long
>> But like with most factories, if as long as you have like a design, you can go to
as you have like a design, you can go to a new factory say I want this design,
a new factory say I want this design, but this material
but this material >> Yeah. Exactly.
>> Yeah. Exactly. >> they can recreate it or something. So
>> they can recreate it or something. So basically what uh she showed me is now
basically what uh she showed me is now we are at like the place where we have a
we are at like the place where we have a lot of zinc alloy. Do you want stainless
lot of zinc alloy. Do you want stainless steel? Do you want stainless steel
steel? Do you want stainless steel jewelry? We have a lot. So let's have a
jewelry? We have a lot. So let's have a look here. So that quality definitely is
look here. So that quality definitely is better here. You see already that the
better here. You see already that the quality is way better. Look at the
quality is way better. Look at the finishing. It's really clean. It's
finishing. It's really clean. It's shiny. Also you don't see any weird
shiny. Also you don't see any weird spots or anything. This looks really
spots or anything. This looks really really nice quality. The ones before
really nice quality. The ones before there were were not really nice. So they
there were were not really nice. So they have all different types of rings,
have all different types of rings, different stones. My my taste for women
different stones. My my taste for women rings is not that good. I can tell.
rings is not that good. I can tell. >> Literally from this just by looking at
>> Literally from this just by looking at it, we can basically sell trash from the
it, we can basically sell trash from the other door. Just to name it like that,
other door. Just to name it like that, maybe a bit harsh. You can also choose
maybe a bit harsh. You can also choose for higher quality. For example, the
for higher quality. For example, the stainless steel. And maybe you can sell
stainless steel. And maybe you can sell that specific ring that you are looking
that specific ring that you are looking for, but at least the ones that people
for, but at least the ones that people are buying at high quality. Maybe it
are buying at high quality. Maybe it takes a bit more sourcing. But the
takes a bit more sourcing. But the difference is so huge in compared to
difference is so huge in compared to what we just saw. And also the ladies
what we just saw. And also the ladies always choose stainless steel, right?
always choose stainless steel, right? because uh otherwise it gives like the
because uh otherwise it gives like the green marks. That's what you have with
green marks. That's what you have with the zinc alloy.
the zinc alloy. >> Especially nowadays, girls, there's so
>> Especially nowadays, girls, there's so many different lotions and products and
many different lotions and products and stuff that can like clash with the um
stuff that can like clash with the um materials that they're wearing. So,
materials that they're wearing. So, >> yeah,
>> yeah, >> make sure something more neutral like a
>> make sure something more neutral like a stainless steel or real gold, real
stainless steel or real gold, real silver, those kind of things.
silver, those kind of things. >> Yeah, stainless steel is the bare
>> Yeah, stainless steel is the bare minimum, I think.
minimum, I think. >> So, if we buy this ring, this is 2 or 3
>> So, if we buy this ring, this is 2 or 3 R&B each. So that equals to I think like
R&B each. So that equals to I think like 30 35 cents euro.
30 35 cents euro. >> Yeah,
>> Yeah, >> it's crazy. And then you have stainless
>> it's crazy. And then you have stainless steel. So there's not really a downside
steel. So there's not really a downside to to buying uh buying this compared to
to to buying uh buying this compared to the zinc alloy. Nice. Thank you. This is
the zinc alloy. Nice. Thank you. This is some nice earrings. Oh no, it's a ring.
some nice earrings. Oh no, it's a ring. I almost wanted to make a joke about
I almost wanted to make a joke about wearing earrings, but so here you have
wearing earrings, but so here you have what what they do with a lot of jewelry
what what they do with a lot of jewelry is that they have a different stone for
is that they have a different stone for each month of the year. That's also what
each month of the year. That's also what we are doing sometimes on the store. So
we are doing sometimes on the store. So people can relate of course more to the
people can relate of course more to the specific product that they are buying
specific product that they are buying because if there's no meaning behind it.
because if there's no meaning behind it. Yeah. Why would you you buy it, right?
Yeah. Why would you you buy it, right? Especially with jewelry that's something
Especially with jewelry that's something that they can buy at so many different
that they can buy at so many different places also for cheap prices. So you
places also for cheap prices. So you really have to have some sort of an
really have to have some sort of an angle. So this is at least one of them.
angle. So this is at least one of them. Yeah. Now we are going to see the
Yeah. Now we are going to see the production process. So basically we
production process. So basically we looked at a lot of rings really high
looked at a lot of rings really high quality the stainless steel one. The
quality the stainless steel one. The zinc alloy was was really not nice. Now
zinc alloy was was really not nice. Now we're going to see the whole process. So
we're going to see the whole process. So that's going to be interesting.
that's going to be interesting. >> Okay. So basically what are you showing
>> Okay. So basically what are you showing is that they don't make it here. This is
is that they don't make it here. This is basically the warehouse. So here they
basically the warehouse. So here they stock everything but um everything is at
stock everything but um everything is at another place. So I understand them
another place. So I understand them wrong. Basically they don't call it a
wrong. Basically they don't call it a factory because everything is handmade.
factory because everything is handmade. So that's really nice. So handmade
So that's really nice. So handmade collection incoming.
>> So basically these are flowers with with jewelry. Now she's looking for the right
jewelry. Now she's looking for the right element in there of that material to to
element in there of that material to to place in. So you get this beautiful
place in. So you get this beautiful flowers. I think after that they are
flowers. I think after that they are going to Oh, this an accessory. Okay.
going to Oh, this an accessory. Okay. Nice. That's clear. So I don't know what
Nice. That's clear. So I don't know what they are making but it's an accessory.
they are making but it's an accessory. >> This is a handmade hanging ring to make
>> This is a handmade hanging ring to make all the accessories into the desired
all the accessories into the desired necklaces, bracelets and other products.
necklaces, bracelets and other products. >> Nice. So what she's doing here, she's
>> Nice. So what she's doing here, she's making jewelry like bracelets,
making jewelry like bracelets, necklaces, but look how she does it with
necklaces, but look how she does it with >> Thank you. That was nice. At first I
>> Thank you. That was nice. At first I thought really the the other
thought really the the other manufacturer was better but now you see
manufacturer was better but now you see that the quality of the stainless steel
that the quality of the stainless steel was way better. It was a difference. So
was way better. It was a difference. So uh now for me this is also an eye
uh now for me this is also an eye opener. The material we can sell is not
opener. The material we can sell is not really much more expensive. Yeah. You
really much more expensive. Yeah. You really get that that nice effect when
really get that that nice effect when someone receives the product because
someone receives the product because that zinc alloy ring really didn't look
that zinc alloy ring really didn't look nice and while you have that same one in
nice and while you have that same one in stainless steel I would be really happy
stainless steel I would be really happy to to receive that for also the amount
to to receive that for also the amount that we sell it for. So quality is key.
that we sell it for. So quality is key. That's really the lesson. What was
That's really the lesson. What was really nice is I asked for example,
really nice is I asked for example, okay, where do you produce it? And they
okay, where do you produce it? And they say like, okay, we are not a factory. We
say like, okay, we are not a factory. We only do handmade. So you also saw it
only do handmade. So you also saw it just on the video. They really hand make
just on the video. They really hand make everything. So you saw how fast that
everything. So you saw how fast that goes. So like if I do it, it would take
goes. So like if I do it, it would take ages. But it's really nice to see also
ages. But it's really nice to see also the conditions really good. So a lot of
the conditions really good. So a lot of yapping that always happens. Uh like
yapping that always happens. Uh like okay, the conditions are not good. They
okay, the conditions are not good. They are not being paid enough. Blah blah
are not being paid enough. Blah blah blah. You see everybody here is just
blah. You see everybody here is just sitting in right conditions. Airco is
sitting in right conditions. Airco is good. Everything is really nice. So I
good. Everything is really nice. So I really like how everything is going. To
really like how everything is going. To be honest, I didn't expect it
be honest, I didn't expect it differently because there's so much
differently because there's so much negativity about China. But really, we
negativity about China. But really, we are having the times of our lives here.
are having the times of our lives here. We are really enjoying ourselves.
We are really enjoying ourselves. Everybody is being really friendly,
Everybody is being really friendly, helpful. It seems like everybody is more
helpful. It seems like everybody is more happier than in the Netherlands. So
happier than in the Netherlands. So that's the crazy part. So now we go to
that's the crazy part. So now we go to the last factory. Afterwards, we are
the last factory. Afterwards, we are going to have some lunch and maybe even
going to have some lunch and maybe even some seashella. So that's going to be
some seashella. So that's going to be nice. Ciao.
nice. Ciao. [Music]

jewelry real. >> So this is basically what comes out of
>> So this is basically what comes out of it. So there basically they print
it. So there basically they print everything there. They cut everything
everything there. They cut everything here. They make it into like a proper

material and after it gets cut out here you also see that they have like very
you also see that they have like very small holes. You will see it better
small holes. You will see it better here. So they can attach it to for
here. So they can attach it to for example a necklace or or an earring. So
example a necklace or or an earring. So this is just for the very simple
this is just for the very simple jewelry. So now we are going to see like
jewelry. So now we are going to see like the real jewelry of course. Okay let's
the real jewelry of course. Okay let's go. This section is for the cobra

use the machine to make that order and then created this kind of silicone mold
then created this kind of silicone mold in a specific machine and then it goes

there's like a small thing. We can probably get it out. But you see here
probably get it out. But you see here also the shape. So this is basically for
also the shape. So this is basically for some jewelry how they've made it. Now we
some jewelry how they've made it. Now we have created the mold. So after what
have created the mold. So after what comes of course they created the shape
comes of course they created the shape and now they are going to make it into
and now they are going to make it into the material. So we will go to that one
the material. So we will go to that one now.
now. >> Now we can take a close look.

going to the club. This This was really fun. Normally, I never do karaoke or
fun. Normally, I never do karaoke or anything, but it's going to be really,

crazy night yesterday. So, first we went uh to do karaoke and uh we both thought
uh to do karaoke and uh we both thought okay, we we are not going to sing but uh
okay, we we are not going to sing but uh I think at the end we we sung the most.

went to a club and that club was completely shut down. It was it was
completely shut down. It was it was really crazy. So yeah, basically we
really crazy. So yeah, basically we partied with with Henry Atwin. Atwin

they won and with all Henry's friends. But uh it's very common there that they

this morning was a tough one. Now it's uh almost 1:00. So we haded to go to

Shanghai this morning at 10:00. But you didn't wake up. So yeah, we were like 20
didn't wake up. So yeah, we were like 20 minutes late, but that's fine. And we
minutes late, but that's fine. And we just slept a bit in the car and now we
just slept a bit in the car and now we feel fresh and fruity and uh I'm really
feel fresh and fruity and uh I'm really looking forward to to like a fat bite.
looking forward to to like a fat bite. Just like a big [ __ ] hamburger.
Just like a big [ __ ] hamburger. That's what I want right now. And that's
That's what I want right now. And that's exactly what we are going to get. So we
exactly what we are going to get. So we arrive I think in 23 minutes from now.
arrive I think in 23 minutes from now. Then we didn't have a lot on the
Then we didn't have a lot on the planning. Uh yeah, this afternoon. So
planning. Uh yeah, this afternoon. So probably we we will just do a bit of
probably we we will just do a bit of work. Maybe I will get something, but
work. Maybe I will get something, but I'm not still sure about it. So, uh, we
I'm not still sure about it. So, uh, we will be taking you guys along, whether
will be taking you guys along, whether that will be work or something else. And
that will be work or something else. And yeah, it's going to be a nice day. Sun
yeah, it's going to be a nice day. Sun is shining and Shanghai is ready for us
is shining and Shanghai is ready for us for sure. Ciao.
So, the nice thing is, of course, about ecom, as you guys know, in some way,
ecom, as you guys know, in some way, it's passive. Of course, you need to
it's passive. Of course, you need to work out, you need to build something.
work out, you need to build something. And also when you are one week away it
And also when you are one week away it doesn't matter that much because the
doesn't matter that much because the whole team that we have built over the
whole team that we have built over the time of course will keep on going. So
time of course will keep on going. So during this trip I only focus on the
during this trip I only focus on the most important thing just directing the
most important thing just directing the team not picking on new projects of
team not picking on new projects of course this week because I don't have
course this week because I don't have the time for it. But this is for example
the time for it. But this is for example one store. So we have been here for what
one store. So we have been here for what is it 7 days now since last last
is it 7 days now since last last Saturday. So we've been 7 days here in
Saturday. So we've been 7 days here in China and in that 7 days only this store
China and in that 7 days only this store did 280k in revenue. We also have some
did 280k in revenue. We also have some other stores and yeah I think uh we did
other stores and yeah I think uh we did uh probably around 400k in the last
uh probably around 400k in the last seven days. So that's really nice. Also
seven days. So that's really nice. Also what you see is that we really start
what you see is that we really start scaling at this point. The revenue was
scaling at this point. The revenue was lower 2 weeks ago. Basically everybody
lower 2 weeks ago. Basically everybody was on a holiday. Now we see it's really
was on a holiday. Now we see it's really starting to increase and we are really
starting to increase and we are really preparing that seasonal switch good. So
preparing that seasonal switch good. So now we still in the summer but you see
now we still in the summer but you see basically the search volume for dresses
basically the search volume for dresses those type of summer products declining.
those type of summer products declining. Now the mid-season products will come.
Now the mid-season products will come. we are heavily dialed in on that. So now
we are heavily dialed in on that. So now we have uploaded those products and
we have uploaded those products and after of course we start with the
after of course we start with the winter. So that makes sure that we don't
winter. So that makes sure that we don't decline of course in volume but that we
decline of course in volume but that we only go up. So we're really excited for
only go up. So we're really excited for for the coming period and yeah it's time
for the coming period and yeah it's time to get your numbers up as well.
to get your numbers up as well. [Music]
[Music] Oh the hamburgers coming through that we

on the 39th floor. It's it's crazy high. So it's uh it feels a bit like Dubai.
So it's uh it feels a bit like Dubai. And there also you have all the all the
And there also you have all the all the beautiful views. So tonight this will be
beautiful views. So tonight this will be really amazing to see. So uh yeah, keep
really amazing to see. So uh yeah, keep watching for sure.
watching for sure. [Music]
>> Yo guys, last evening here. Look where the where the [ __ ] we are sitting. It's
the where the [ __ ] we are sitting. It's uh it's insane. This trip has has been
uh it's insane. This trip has has been crazy. You guys have have seen it as
crazy. You guys have have seen it as well. The places we have been uh the
well. The places we have been uh the things we have seen and done. It's
things we have seen and done. It's incredible. I think also for you of
incredible. I think also for you of course uh we came here to negotiate
course uh we came here to negotiate about a few terms regarding both front
about a few terms regarding both front end and back end like Q4 is around the
end and back end like Q4 is around the corner. So we want to make sure that we
corner. So we want to make sure that we have everything in the right place and
have everything in the right place and that the supplier knows our exact goals
that the supplier knows our exact goals and what we need to achieve those goals
and what we need to achieve those goals from him. So that was the main reason
from him. So that was the main reason why we got here and I did a very
why we got here and I did a very powerful presentation and in that
powerful presentation and in that presentation basically I've shown
presentation basically I've shown everything that is needed from our side
everything that is needed from our side just to make it succeed in this Q4 and
just to make it succeed in this Q4 and to really scale up to the numbers where
to really scale up to the numbers where we want to go. We want to do between 5
we want to go. We want to do between 5 to 10 million probably we will do a 5 to
to 10 million probably we will do a 5 to 6 million minimally that's what we want
6 million minimally that's what we want to do for sure. So for that goal we also
to do for sure. So for that goal we also talked about a few terms we got
talked about a few terms we got agreement on that of course not
agreement on that of course not everything it's giving and taking that's
everything it's giving and taking that's also really important. So mission
also really important. So mission succeed basically by by the terms but we
succeed basically by by the terms but we also got to build the perfect bond. So
also got to build the perfect bond. So I'm also a coach of course. So when I
I'm also a coach of course. So when I coach people I really appreciate the
coach people I really appreciate the bond that we have since we are building
bond that we have since we are building a network and they always say it it's
a network and they always say it it's very cliche your network is your net
very cliche your network is your net worth. So I try to surround myself with
worth. So I try to surround myself with very strong people which Henry is also
very strong people which Henry is also one of them. So we really created that
one of them. So we really created that bond and yeah basically he's like a
bond and yeah basically he's like a brother to me now. I hope it also feels
brother to me now. I hope it also feels the other way around. Of course, we have
the other way around. Of course, we have a lot of respect for each other and just
a lot of respect for each other and just by doing these trips, he respects me
by doing these trips, he respects me more as a person since I also invest in
more as a person since I also invest in that relationship and also the other way
that relationship and also the other way around. So, the relationship is stronger
around. So, the relationship is stronger than ever with the supplier. The terms
than ever with the supplier. The terms are better than ever. We got so much
are better than ever. We got so much more experiences that we that we saw
more experiences that we that we saw here. The culture is beautiful here.
here. The culture is beautiful here. Maybe I even want to learn Chinese
Maybe I even want to learn Chinese because it's so inspiring how the
because it's so inspiring how the culture is. It's completely different.
culture is. It's completely different. But everybody is saying, "Oh, is China?
But everybody is saying, "Oh, is China? It's like a different world and they eat
It's like a different world and they eat cats, dogs, they do all types of crazy
cats, dogs, they do all types of crazy [ __ ] But what I see here overall is
[ __ ] But what I see here overall is that people are more happy than in the
that people are more happy than in the western world. I don't see that crazy
western world. I don't see that crazy [ __ ] or people eating dogs and cats or
[ __ ] or people eating dogs and cats or those type of things. I see people here
those type of things. I see people here willing to help. They are all happy.
willing to help. They are all happy. They are laughing a lot. And also work
They are laughing a lot. And also work related. For example, if we if we look
related. For example, if we if we look at factories, they say, "Okay, there are
at factories, they say, "Okay, there are factories that have inhumane conditions,
factories that have inhumane conditions, but the government is working on to take
but the government is working on to take them down, right? It's not that that is
them down, right? It's not that that is something that they allow here." For
something that they allow here." For example, if people work in factories
example, if people work in factories here, okay, maybe they work longer days
here, okay, maybe they work longer days and maybe they work more days in a week.
and maybe they work more days in a week. Yes, that's true. But it's a whole
Yes, that's true. But it's a whole different place than where we are. The
different place than where we are. The factories that we visited showed me
factories that we visited showed me really how I hoped it would be. Good air
really how I hoped it would be. Good air conditioning since it's really hot here
conditioning since it's really hot here in the winter, perfect conditions. Maybe
in the winter, perfect conditions. Maybe they don't have the ergonomic chairs for
they don't have the ergonomic chairs for example, but they have some fine places
example, but they have some fine places to sit. There's a good environment
to sit. There's a good environment there. There's a good vibe there. So
there. There's a good vibe there. So basically all the things that are being
basically all the things that are being told about China, I don't think that is
told about China, I don't think that is true for at least what I have seen. If
true for at least what I have seen. If you are into ecom or maybe if you are
you are into ecom or maybe if you are not into ecom and you want to see a
not into ecom and you want to see a different culture, China is really the
different culture, China is really the place to go. It shows you so many
place to go. It shows you so many beautiful things. It shows you a a
beautiful things. It shows you a a beautiful culture business-wise. It
beautiful culture business-wise. It shows you a lot of chances which is also
shows you a lot of chances which is also the last point that I also saw is the
the last point that I also saw is the quality of the products. Really good
quality of the products. Really good quality. Apple makes also his products
quality. Apple makes also his products here. It says enough if you have the
here. It says enough if you have the right suppliers basically you can
right suppliers basically you can fulfill anything. So those were for me
fulfill anything. So those were for me the biggest takeaways. I enjoyed this
the biggest takeaways. I enjoyed this trip. I hope you guys as well. My throat
trip. I hope you guys as well. My throat is getting very dry. So, we are about to
is getting very dry. So, we are about to have a drink. And uh thank you for
