Global shutter what is it and why is it
so important many camera systems
nowadays use a rolling shutter which
reads the entire sensor line by line
from top to bottom but with global
shudder like that found in some Cinema
cameras and now the still and video
camera the new Sony a93 the sensor is
read all at once and because of this we
can say goodbye to Distortion in photos
and videos say goodbye to warping and
wobbling calls from photographing
quickly moving subjects or from moving
the camera too quickly say goodbye to
artifacts like banding from different
light sources and say goodbye to
Mechanical wear that comes with a moving
shutter but with global shutter and
particularly Stills on the Sony a93 you
can say hello to flash sync at any
shutter speed flicker-free shooting
photos and videos and say hello to
Global shutter we even got to test it
out in the B&H Superstore in the Drone
section which happens to be my favorite
section and we photographed a drone
propeller the results were
astonishing
