0:16 not just in the it field but uh you seem
0:19 to be the person who really understands
0:21 how to find people you even created uh
0:25 the software with um uh with different
0:27 um approaches on how to find candidates
0:29 so this is what we are going to talk
0:31 about and uh you are Keen to share the
0:33 screen which is awesome so so welcome
0:35 again to the to the podcast well thank
0:37 you very much for having me I appreciate
0:41 it sourcing let's so let's just jump in
0:43 so sourcing is where it all starts I
0:45 mean the reality is this I don't care
0:46 how good you are on the phone you got to
0:48 find the people to talk to them I don't
0:49 care how good you are at selling them at
0:51 the job you still have to find them so
0:53 it all starts with sourcing the sourcing
0:56 life cycle starts with research you got
0:57 to understand what it is you're
0:59 searching so we're going to look at this
1:01 is a tool I created called Source I'm
1:03 using it because it's easier than me
1:05 going to different links and showing you
1:07 different stuff it's just simpler so
1:08 what I'm going to do is I'm going to
1:10 start in an area which is called the
1:14 word um Word Lookup military
1:17 area Java I mean everybody needs job
1:19 let's keep it simple let's just Java so
1:23 let's find out what is Java well we type
1:25 in Java and we populate all these places
1:26 and then we got to figure out what is
1:29 Java now I could use all of these to
1:31 find out what what the word Java means
1:33 but I know for experience that this
1:34 particular one is going to get me
1:37 something special so we're going to do
1:40 something special this is Java you open
1:43 it up and it tells you Java tells you
1:45 when it was created gives you links to
1:46 stuff and then it gives you an actual
1:49 full-blown hey this is Java here it is
1:51 and here's why and all that here's
1:54 Technologies of java but for those of us
1:56 who are looking to put together a search
2:00 string this is what matters most synony
2:01 synonym is a word that means the same as
2:04 another word that means this is your or
2:08 all these things also mean Java Java X
2:12 j2se j2e is in here somewhere j2e is in
2:15 here believe me anytime I look for
2:17 something I always look up the synonyms
2:19 because that's the easiest way to find
2:22 my um or strings and then of course you
2:24 get other information here which is good
2:25 to have all this information is
2:29 available to you all of it so you now have
2:30 have
2:32 you know what job is you know you know
2:35 what it is so now you're on to your next
2:39 part find them well for me I I did my
2:41 tools so I always go here I'm GNA go
2:42 ahead I need a Java developer I'm a
2:44 punch in Joba devel populate all and I
2:48 get all these places to search for
2:52 people every last one of them that just
2:54 so cool and there are so many different
2:56 um websites are these links to websites
2:58 just to clarify
3:01 for some of them open the website and
3:03 put the search in for you some of them
3:05 are X-rays into it Advanced Boolean
3:08 x-raying and and and I'll show you I
3:10 I'll just show you an example real quick
3:12 let's hit um
3:15 Facebook so what I did here and it's
3:17 pretty simple is I am x-raying into
3:19 Facebook looking for the word Java
3:22 developer around 10 to present every
3:24 Facebook profile that says where they're
3:27 currently working says to present so I'm
3:29 saying hey look for the word to present
3:31 look 10 words before after for the word
3:34 job now you're probably thinking well 22
3:37 people isn't a lot it's
3:39 not but you got to understand you're
3:42 talking about different sites do things
3:46 differently so if I change this to
3:49 engineer we get two but if I go ahead
3:51 and change this
3:54 to be Java full stack for example and
3:56 different combinations of it right oh
3:57 yeah you could if I Chang this to
3:59 software engineer
4:02 all of a sudden it says I'm a robot I'm
4:04 not well and look at how many I get but
4:06 now let's go ahead and add in the word
4:09 Java at the end now we get 27 you see in
4:11 Facebook most people aren't going to say
4:13 Java developer or anything they're just
4:15 going to have a generic title like
4:17 software engineer or something but you
4:19 get the general idea now this is where
4:21 you want to Target companies so as an
4:25 example I know and the research there's
4:27 the research can also tell you what
4:29 companies use Java Amazon is a heavy
4:34 Java shop so well we got six now let's
4:41 off you just play with it and
4:45 voila 5 there's what we want Amazon web
4:48 services software I mean now we're good
4:50 you see what I'm saying I give you the
4:52 start the rest is up to you but let's
4:54 find one where there's no doubt
4:56 boatloads and I'm going to show you in a
4:58 place most people don't think to go
5:01 slides share there are 10,400 rumes in
5:04 SlideShare of Java developers
5:06 10, now let me give you another piece of
5:08 advice when you're
5:11 searching always go to images most cases
5:14 these are real resumes of real people I
5:16 the string automatically looks for
5:18 resume or CV or viai you don't need to
5:21 spell out curriculum V or bio or profile
5:23 any of those things will get me what I
5:26 want and we automatically get all these
5:28 resumes and most of them are real
5:31 resumes and if you get junk in here it's
5:33 not hard to do you just go ahead into
5:37 your tools area and then you you look at
5:39 the different sizes user types all sorts
5:41 stuff in my case most rums are black and
5:43 white so I tend to change it black white
5:45 there are some color most are black and
5:47 white so if I change this to black and
5:50 white I'm only going to get resumes I
5:52 might a couple because a couple are a
5:54 color I mean but there's a little blue
5:56 if majority I think if I remember
5:57 correctly the way Google does it they
6:00 have 70% or more of the document is
6:01 black and white it's considered black
6:04 and white so and would there be would
6:06 there be an option with these uh
6:08 SlideShare PDF files would there be an
6:10 option to look for some of the recent
6:13 ones just to avoid some CVS that are
6:16 outdated and um let's say 10 years
6:20 old F you should say that tools
6:28 anytime last year last year I mean I
6:29 don't know there's not much else to do
6:32 these were all up the last year you know
6:35 so it's kind of that we try to make it
6:38 simple now I know a lot of you use
6:40 LinkedIn linkedin's the alpha the Omega
6:43 and all that it's not so I'm going to
6:46 tell you some things about the good old
6:48 LinkedIn or as a lot of us call it the
6:52 Blue Devil um when you search in
6:53 LinkedIn whether you have a regular
6:55 LinkedIn uh LinkedIn recruiter Navigator
6:57 or whatever other versions they have out
7:00 there you are limited to $1,000 results
7:04 period those thousand results are if you
7:06 have a non-paid version of LinkedIn are
7:10 only going to be your first second
7:12 levels so you don't get to the third
7:15 levels if we assume or presume I should
7:17 say I hate the assume that linkedin's
7:20 770 million um
7:23 profiles are all real all legit and all
7:25 living they're not but let's assume they
7:27 are if you can only see a th that means
7:29 it is mathematically impossible to to see
7:30 see
7:33 everybody just can't be
7:36 done so there and then when you do find
7:37 them remember unless you have a tool to
7:40 find an email you're subject to their
7:43 email to their IM which isn't good so
7:44 let's go ahead I'm going to stick in the
7:47 US just because I feel like it we have
7:50 3,190 people who say they are a job
7:52 developer and have an email address in
7:55 their profile let's see if oh wow Gmail
7:58 oh another Gmail oh another Gmail I
8:00 don't need
8:02 LinkedIn instant messaging or whatever
8:06 heck it's inails I just need this now we
8:09 use a tool called instant data
8:12 scraper and voila we have it all pretty
8:14 neat simple and if you don't like that
8:16 particular tool there's another tool
8:19 called easy scraper we use that tool and
8:23 voila nice easy peasy done and do you
8:27 export all of these 3,190 results or is
8:29 there a limit to scrape uh no it depends
8:32 on which tool you use in most cases let
8:34 me get to the bottom here real quick I'm
8:36 using a tool that will instantly scroll
8:37 to the bottom of the page because I'm
8:39 lazy and I do not feel like doing
8:42 it well it's not that I'm lazy I just
8:43 don't want to keep doing it so it's
8:45 going to do it for me so just wait till
8:47 we get to the bottom of the
8:50 page okay so that's as far as you can go
8:51 it does have a
8:54 limit or is that link Google's limit
8:56 okay anyway let's just say we've gotten
8:57 all the way down to the bottom I don't
8:59 know how many it is first of all we all
9:03 all know that Google also limits your
9:05 results so you're not going to get all
9:08 3,100 whatever but you are going to get
9:09 quite a few of them and because they
9:10 have email addresses which is something
9:13 you can't search for in LinkedIn um
9:14 you'll get people with LinkedIn with
9:16 email addresses so that makes so in this
9:18 case let's see how many we ended up
9:21 getting um this is easier because there are
9:27 82 is it some is it some extension that
9:30 is able to extract just email
9:33 yeah email extractor oh well that's a
9:35 good name of an extension email
9:38 extractor you want to make it simple now
9:40 keep in mind email extractor is only
9:43 extracting emails that are on page like
9:44 this one here it won't extract because
9:46 the whole email Isn't there but the
9:49 email is in the profile and the scrapers
9:52 will still get it that way um so you got
9:53 to understand that's the other part like
9:55 this is Gmail he's got a g he or she has
9:58 got a g a Gmail in their profile so once
10:00 you scrap the ones that you get the
10:03 email for what you do is you come back
10:04 okay we didn't get one for this one
10:05 because of that you just open up in
10:07 LinkedIn and just it's going to be right
10:09 there and this tool email extractor will
10:11 still find it even in a LinkedIn
10:16 profile so 82 of them pretty darn easy
10:18 and like yeah not gotta get all the way
10:20 up here and mind you that was 82 with
10:23 emails you figure probably another 18
10:25 without that the emails are embedded so
10:28 you they couldn't pull them out and so
10:29 you have to go in and look for so you
10:32 fig you got about 100 at least but again
10:34 remembering you're x-raying into l in
10:37 and that's not the only place to do it
10:39 let how how would you how would you use
10:42 this strategy to find uh a candidate for
10:45 a bit more complicated uh requirement
10:47 because now we are we are looking based
10:49 on the title right but what if the
10:51 requirement from a client is someone who
10:53 has at least 10 years of
10:57 experience and used um I don't know has
10:59 fintech experience for example 10 years
11:02 any experience with fch okay so number
11:06 one um it's hard to search unless you're
11:08 in a LinkedIn or a job board it's hard
11:10 to search and they're not 100% accurate
11:11 by for anything based on use but there
11:14 are some things you can do
11:17 so you want 10 years of experience so
11:19 let's play the game we've already got
11:21 this popular so what I'm going to do is
11:23 I'm G to
11:25 go which one do I want to go to for this
11:26 I'm not going to mess with LinkedIn
11:27 right now because that's just kind of no
11:30 fun it's kind of boring
11:34 um let's go to
11:37 SlideShare okay so we got this 10 years
11:42 of experience would be it's 2024 so
11:44 2014 and what's the other
11:48 thing you said syntax experience with
11:50 ftech or
11:53 banking oh B I thought you said syntax
11:58 no no fintech or banking here we go so
12:01 what did I do I looks for the word 2014
12:03 the logic being if they're 2014 that
12:04 means either they graduate 2014 so they
12:07 have 10 years of experience or they've
12:11 got a job in 2014 and we asked banking
12:13 which is also Financial so there's the
12:15 first one right there let's see that's a
12:17 tool that allows me to view the profile
12:19 without actually getting into it this
12:21 person has 17 years of experience so
12:23 that's that would be one and 10 they've
12:27 got Java um plenty of
12:31 java well Fargo I
12:34 mean I I could be
12:37 wrong I think Well Fargos is a bank and
12:39 so a city group for that matter nice
12:42 nice nice well this was an excellent
12:45 example this is just so cool and now
12:47 when we are going through this I'm just
12:49 thinking about all of the recruiters out
12:52 there who are using LinkedIn on a very
12:54 kind of a shallow level still you know
12:55 with the basic Surge and maybe some drop
12:57 down not even the more advanced booing
13:00 Surge and now the other side of the
13:03 scale is this super Advanced well
13:05 thought through search with with the
13:08 keyword so I mean this is so cool and I
13:10 think everyone should start using it but
13:12 how can people actually get to a point
13:15 when they even know what to do with a
13:24 well the idea behind is you need to have
13:28 some basic understandings of of Boolean
13:31 and and Google dorks and stuff like that
13:33 because what some of the things I do in
13:37 here are not standard Boolean searches
13:41 um as an example just just as an example
13:43 the LinkedIn search here for a job
13:46 developer I'm using an anchor word
13:47 called present everybody who's currently
13:49 working says present in their profile
13:50 it's the way LinkedIn has it I use
13:52 double quotes because single quotes
13:54 messes it up because linkedin's trying
13:55 hard to make it harder to do what I'm
13:58 doing so the double quotes guarantee you
14:00 get more
14:03 um after this though you can do all
14:06 sorts of neat things to to understand
14:08 and get more what you want but you got
14:10 to understand basic Boolean so as an
14:16 do let me think about this
14:23 Seattle Seattle
14:25 Seattle
14:30 now this is one's going to be
14:32 interesting I'm going to show you why
14:35 I'm doing it
14:38 at so what we're doing now is this so this
14:41 this
14:44 person is a job developer in the greater
14:46 Seattle area and that's right I forgot
14:48 they call it the greatest Seattle area
14:49 so we what I did here is I said don't
14:51 just look for job developer around the
14:54 present but look for Seattle at now why
14:55 at and I'm going to show you why let me
14:58 see if I'm signed in LinkedIn I am this
14:59 is at
15:03 right here at the top of most profiles
15:05 is the word at the reason why it's
15:07 important to go there is because a lot
15:10 of people work remotely up here will
15:12 always be where they live down here
15:14 could be where the company is located
15:17 now in this case it's not but in some
15:20 cases it is or it'll say remote so if
15:22 you want to know where they live it it's
15:25 usually a so
15:27 that's so anchor words are your key to
15:29 tearing apart any website so as an
15:31 example every profile let's look at my
15:33 profile because it's just easier and I
15:36 don't really like picking on other
15:39 people okay there's my profile so first
15:46 Kent I have Kent where I work is
15:47 actually on the DC but I chose to put
15:49 Kent there because I'm remote and that's
15:50 just what I want most people don't do
15:52 that but let's look at what's available
15:55 to us at would be
15:59 available about you could legitimately
16:04 say about um look for email or contact
16:07 me at or hot mail or whatever around 10
16:09 about and guess what within 10 words is my
16:11 my
16:14 email Fe is a category not everybody
16:16 uses it but some do these are just some
16:18 presentations I've done activity is a
16:20 category posts and stuff you may have
16:24 done experience is a anchor word
16:27 education is an anchor word projects is
16:29 an anchor word volunteer
16:31 skills you see all these big things
16:34 these are all anchor words every profile
16:36 has them if they like if they've got
16:38 organizations that's the anchor word
16:40 doesn't mean they have them not all
16:42 profiles put them in there and unless
16:43 there's something there it isn't going
16:45 to show up but you get the general idea
16:46 and it's not just LinkedIn it's
16:49 literally every single solitary site out
16:51 there I'm going to pick on
16:53 on
16:56 um GitHub don't know why I guess just
16:57 because I can I just gotta figure out
17:00 which one I want to pick on
17:02 okay we'll do this
17:05 one oh oh that's stack share that's
17:08 right that's not that's a stat sh so let
17:10 me pick a different one I've got several
17:12 different searches in here so so I'm
17:14 looking for a jav let's look at his
17:17 profile preview it's called search
17:20 preview by the way so let's see what are
17:23 his anchors so first of all let's go
17:25 back to his actual website itself there
17:29 we go so anchor number one these icons
17:30 they're all
17:33 there anchor number two follow anchor
17:35 number three overview repository
17:38 projects package Stars they're all
17:41 anchor words let's see what else we
17:44 have GitHub staps is an anchor word most
17:46 used languages is an anchor word all
17:48 these things that you see that are
17:50 categories we'll call them that are
17:52 anchor words contact in his case they're
17:54 all anchors you can search on them if
17:57 you know how oh that's so cool i' I've
17:59 never thought about it this way probably
18:02 because I didn't know about this keyword
18:05 around it's just so so cool um um around
18:09 is probably the most powerful and used
18:12 Boolean operator Google dork actually
18:13 because it's beyond standard Boolean see
18:17 standard Boolean is is
18:22 the at the at the or the and the not or
18:24 the minus sign depending on which which
18:25 browser you're on let's remember there
18:28 are different um Boolean operators work
18:29 with different brows and
18:30 and
18:33 then everything beyond that is much more
18:34 advanced and if you go down to like the
18:37 research section here there's actually
18:39 listings for things that can help you as
18:42 an example something people don't
18:44 realize if you want to look in the US
18:45 specific people in specific location
18:47 this is what you need to use because
18:49 that's the way LinkedIn designates the
18:51 areas so for Seattle when I looked
18:53 earlier I just put seatt what I needed
18:56 to do and I was just trying to be quick
18:57 I just didn't want to waste a lot of
18:59 time is greater Seattle area is what
19:02 they call it actually that's what I need
19:05 to put in there so you have that and
19:06 then um Boolean operators I remember
19:09 correctly oh right there there's a it's
19:11 a link to one of my posts I did a while
19:13 ago with Boolean operators you don't
19:15 know what it means look here's what they
19:17 are every one of you can even do movies
19:19 date ranges
19:22 Allin I mean you can do all any all of
19:24 these well this is this is next level
19:28 completely this is just unbelievable
19:30 divers you want to look for a diverse
19:31 candidate well here are some of the
19:33 words and things you can look for to
19:34 find diverse candidates although to be
19:36 quite honest I kind of make that easy
19:37 enough because I have all of them
19:41 premade already for diverse
19:44 candidates but still want you you can
19:46 use multiple anchors like I showed you
19:48 earlier you can you I go as for LinkedIn
19:50 I do as many as three in this particular
19:53 um thing now here's something really
19:55 funny I'm going to show you guys because
19:56 I think this is one of the one of the
19:59 more interesting things so let's see
20:01 we're going to use the word we'll do
20:03 with job develop I'm okay with it and
20:05 we're going to do
20:08 present who does a better job Bing or
20:11 Google wow this is so cool Bing versus
20:14 Google left and right frame okay so Bing
20:16 has less people but here's what you
20:19 don't see you see all these sponsored
20:20 things you don't see them over
20:23 here sometimes Bing is a better option than
20:24 than
20:26 Google being also doesn't limit its
20:33 wow so cool so cool yeah I have it set
20:35 so you can even you can even do you can
20:37 do it that
20:40 way and I just saw so what what do you
20:41 think what do you think should people
20:45 start with I mean now uh I see the need
20:47 to kind of go back to learn the
20:50 foundation with regard to some of these
20:53 operators around for example that's
20:56 clear but uh but then uh what's what's
20:58 next I mean uh should people who who are
21:00 looking for Java developers in gree
21:02 should they go through all of these
21:03 let's say one by one or should they
21:07 choose one or two or five as they get
21:10 more experienced in using the tool
21:12 they'll know where to
21:16 go um I try to keep it fairly organized
21:18 it's hard when you have over 300
21:20 different things to do most of the techy
21:24 stuff is over here as far as heavy Tech
21:27 um that's where you see GitHub and uh
21:31 stack overflow and SC Guild and well you
21:35 know let's open a few of these um public
21:37 code as an
21:40 example this is just a place where
21:41 people are talking about Joba
21:43 development you can go and it this just
21:44 searches for them it's real simple now
21:46 you want to see something funny you see
21:56 right these are the ones that mention
21:57 their Gmail addresses right in their profile
21:59 profile
22:01 nice or you can do Hotmail or whatever
22:04 so most of them over here are more techy
22:06 than the ones than than the others the
22:08 others either can do everything or not
22:10 techy like this is search code I love
22:12 doing the I love these type of things
22:14 where you can find the code and then you
22:16 just add in the the the you're looking
22:18 for an email or something and this
22:19 person's email address is sitting in
22:21 here somewhere and there's probably
22:23 several of them by the
22:24 way when you get a bunch of people
22:26 talking about coding they all put their
22:27 email in there because they all want to
22:29 be found some of them are better than
22:31 others but I'm one of these people that
22:33 I would rather have it than not have
22:36 it like he has
22:40 1,210 people in hackard say they're Java
22:43 developers there's one right there let's
22:45 see what he looks like or
22:50 she I'm gonna go with M he he's in India
22:52 and we get all this information here so
22:55 if you need someone in India he's got a
22:56 decent background he just graduated in 2014
22:58 2014
23:00 from college he graduated in from high
23:02 school in 2009 higher secondary education
23:04 education
23:09 usually um C GPA of 8.45 means he
23:15 3 7 I believe I remember but you'd have
23:17 to look up I can't remember the exact
23:20 differences between cgpa and just GPA
23:21 there is a difference though and he's
23:22 working at an
23:25 oracle nice 10 years of experience
23:28 awesome what I like is I don't have to
23:30 actually it up to get in there unless so
23:31 now I know if I like him now I'll open
23:34 up and get the whole profile but I don't
23:35 have to waste time I can do each one
23:36 separately that's what this that's what
23:38 the search preview is really good really
23:41 good for yeah I I like I really like how
23:43 you use these extensions that enable you
23:47 to see a preview of a document or a new
23:50 tab without to the tool does have a list
23:53 of extensions that I like oh W all of
23:55 them as well as sites and tools I
23:57 like I don't want you that to go
23:59 anywhere I want you to go to one place
24:00 be able to do what you want to do and
24:04 guys if all you have is their name
24:06 please don't say well I can't oh I have
24:08 the name how am I going to cont let's
24:10 use some common sense I'm gonna pick on
24:13 myself I'm gonna open to people that's
24:17 not me I live in Kent Washington Kent 61
24:21 yes I just turned let's open it up
24:23 that's my address those are my phone
24:25 numbers except for that one those are
24:26 email addresses that one's no longer
24:27 good and that's my daughter but these
24:30 other two me I
24:33 mean just because you can't all you need
24:35 to really find somebody's contact info
24:38 their name and an approximate age now
24:41 how do you get an approximate age knew
24:44 that was coming I'm getting good at this
24:47 dude been doing it a little while let's
24:51 play a game no let's not let's let's
24:52 play a game we're gonna we're gon to
24:55 look at my profile um I'm just going to
24:56 open up LinkedIn just because it's
24:58 easier to do with this so we'll do that
25:00 one I don't really care oh that didn't
25:03 open LinkedIn itself forgot let me open
25:06 up LinkedIn real quick I'm a very
25:08 organized person I like everything to be
25:10 in specific places so you'll see I I
25:11 tend to keep things where they are
25:12 because I don't like to spend time
25:15 looking for things it's a waste all
25:18 right you ready we're gonna here's the
25:21 game soon as it finishes coming let's go
25:23 all the way down here where's the
25:27 education right there so let's open the
25:29 education now this is a little tougher
25:32 because I had to redo my education later
25:35 but 2009 2010 first of all you know I
25:37 didn't get a BH in one year of actual
25:39 school it's because I'm ex military so I
25:41 have so for me that would not work but
25:48 experience if we presume I had to be at
25:50 least 18 to join the military because
25:51 that's kind of
25:56 law that means 83 so 83 to 2000 is 17
26:00 years now I'm 35 now we have another 24
26:01 now I'm
26:04 59 okay I'm 61 but that's because I
26:14 it okay let me get I was looking for the
26:16 um one thing but 59 let's go to the real names
26:23 again okay he's 58 but we know I live in
26:26 Kent it said so right on LinkedIn he's
26:27 that can't be me that's unknown but it
26:29 also says Maryland I don't live in
26:32 Maryland that's his Kent okay that says
26:35 62 but that's California so we already
26:39 know for a fact that first of all it's
26:41 go this one here it's got to be me
26:44 because one Kent 2 6159 a couple years
26:47 that's probably pretty darn
26:49 accurate and that's how it's done
26:51 everybody it can be done with anybody
26:53 let's pick on somebody else I'm going to
26:56 pick on I'm going to pick on anybody I
26:59 want really let's pick on him try to
27:01 pick me I'm not in the US so we will see
27:03 if this works well let me let me do this
27:05 one first because I'm already on him and
27:08 I do know him okay so here's a problem
27:10 we know for a fact that he got decid to
27:12 go we know this recruit that's Marines
27:14 that's Marines and that's just a couple
27:17 years ago so that means the method won't
27:19 necessarily work for but won't not
27:21 necessarily so now we go to the work and
27:23 here we go infantry team lader okay so
27:25 that was
27:28 2010 so first thing we got to understand
27:29 he's an infantry team leader in order to
27:31 be a team leader if you understand the
27:33 military he would need to be at least an
27:35 E4 which means he had to be in the
27:37 Marines because they make ranks slower
27:39 at least three years so now we already
27:41 know he's three years older than this
27:43 then he had to be 18 to join so
27:47 18321 so 21 2010 so now we already know

29:29 one nope that's not him that's uh I know
29:31 who that is actually I only know because
29:34 of that so in this case we didn't find a
29:36 whole lot more on him which happens but
29:38 we know about his age and I'd say
29:40 looking at him there I could put his
29:43 picture into a tool I have that will
29:45 tell me his approximate age based on the
29:48 picture but I'm not gonna it takes time
29:49 and I don't want to waste a lot of
29:52 people time I actually know him and know
29:55 how old he is because well he's from the
29:56 company I work for I actually know him
29:59 very well and I know how is and I can
30:01 tell you right now the approximation I
30:04 made is within two years so
30:07 45 no that's not what we
30:09 said think let's go through it again
30:13 2010 as infantry team leader I know he
30:15 had to be at least an E4 to be a team
30:17 leader that's at least four years to get
30:18 there so that means if you joined at 20

31:41 um might actually look better than just
31:42 L there are hirer managers out there I
31:44 just say I don't if you find them on
31:45 LinkedIn first I don't want to see them
31:46 if you find them somewhere else and then
31:47 find LinkedIn that's fine because that
31:49 means they're not part of the th you
31:51 know the Thousand but I just don't now

41:17 months to get it just right before I
41:20 stick it over here this is this is the
41:21 ones we can get online it's at the

41:28 version there's a big update coming
41:30 and oh I have to sign in again been a
41:32 while that's one thing I do like about
41:35 this thing it doesn't you got yeah and
41:37 then so you have these this is the free
41:40 this is silver platinum gold and then
41:42 platinum and you get all this
41:46 stuff key for this tool like any tool is
41:48 is almost more about saving time where
41:50 can you do on pun job developer pop and
41:52 just one time and populate everything
41:53 rather than cutting and pasting or
41:57 retyping it over and over and over and

43:27 person goes to my grand kids college
43:31 fund because I you know and it's 20 40
43:33 and 50 a month unless you buy by the
43:34 year and then you get two months for
43:35 free I being I by not telling you to buy
43:38 it I do not push it like that if the
43:39 bronze is good for you then stay with
43:41 the bronze
43:45 but for me I do all my sourcing and all
43:46 my work out of this tool because it's
43:48 just easier that's how it get started a
43:50 coule several years ago is just me
43:52 saying I'm tired of putting all these
43:54 different strings intoing Excel sheet
43:55 and having a go copy paste copy let's
43:58 just make something that I can just go
44:00 and save probably saves me a couple
44:02 hours a day because I don't have to
44:05 constantly retype or go open pages it's
44:08 all right there that that's me yeah yeah
44:10 and it's it's great because uh you may
44:13 even forget that there is a website such
44:15 as you know one of those
44:18 350 and this is a great way just to go
44:20 from one to the other try different
44:22 searches it reminds you that the search
44:26 exists so it's uh super helpful I have
44:27 forgotten sometime the other day I was
44:29 looking for something and I forgot about
44:31 arev and arev had exactly who I was
44:32 looking for and I totally forgot about it

44:35 because um you know it's hard to
44:38 remember them all there awesome and do
44:39 you do you also have some uh sourcing
44:41 training I know you wrote the books but
44:43 do you also have some video training
44:45 where you show how to use the tool and
44:47 different approaches yes I do actually let

49:44 get into diversity searching or
49:47 International to another whole plan we
49:49 need to schedule another one in six
49:53 months from now or so so cool so cool
