1:08 something more in that moment I vowed to
1:11 myself to become an entrepreneur someone

1:24 believe that this is the idea that will
1:27 set me free so I spend months working on

1:35 perfect font the perfect launch nights
1:38 weekends meticulously making everything
1:41 perfect I could see the end result in my
1:44 head thousands of users thousands of
1:48 dollars a new life finally it was ready

1:56 publish then I sit there refreshing my
1:59 analytics I'm waiting for the success to
2:00 start happening
2:04 and sure enough nothing zilch NADA zero
2:07 users I keep refreshing just waiting for
2:09 the word of mouth the sharing the
2:12 millions of users to show up but they
2:15 never do and this this is when I
2:17 realized everything I was told about
2:21 startups and business was a lie nobody
2:24 gives a f about me or the thing that I
2:26 launched then I thought how do I make
2:29 them give a [ __ ] that night I got to
2:31 work I start studying other successful
2:34 businesses to see how they got traction
2:36 after a couple hours it all clicks the
2:38 smartest companies in the world started
2:40 by leveraging one thing and one thing
2:43 only attention and they did it using
2:47 free channels YouTube Instagram Tik Tok
2:49 Reddit they went to their customers
2:52 created content for them and in return
2:55 attracted millions of eyeballs and then
2:59 they turn those eyeballs into users AKA dollars
3:00 dollars
3:03 so I ask myself where do my customers
3:07 hang out then I look at my screen that's it
3:09 it
3:12 Reddit I post a link to my website it
3:14 starts getting a few upvotes I start
3:18 getting traffic 10 users 20 users 100
3:21 users holy sh I'm jumping around the
3:24 room I could see my future quitting my
3:28 job traveling the world a new life and
3:30 then boom
3:35 oh no your post has been removed
3:37 sincerely the
3:41 mods oh what the f sorry dude your post
3:44 Breaks the Rules of This subreddit how
3:47 stupid deleted gone all my hopes and
3:50 dreams ruined by some mod on a power
3:52 trip but I'm not giving up that easy
3:55 from that moment I had a new goal find a
3:58 way to break the rules rule number one

4:03 only self posts allowed and then it hits
4:05 me redditors hate the idea of you
4:08 spamming your website so what if I made
4:10 it feel like this wasn't spam at all I
4:13 won't post a direct link to my site I'll
4:16 just take all the content and put it in

4:21 and then at the end of my post I'll put
4:24 a small link to my product if they want
4:26 more stuff like this I spend the next
4:28 few hours putting it all together doing
4:32 it meticulously ly making it perfect so

4:38 finally I press publish I sit there and
4:45 minutes it didn't

5:07 worked hundreds of up votes dozens of
5:10 comments thousands of people reading my
5:13 content I open up analytics thousands of
5:15 people are visiting my website right now
5:17 I've never felt anything like this
5:19 before the engagement was like crack to
5:24 me this is product Market fit before
5:26 nobody gave a sh about my website and
5:30 now people are begging me for more I
5:33 hacked the system one simple piece of
5:36 content and now I have thousands of
5:39 eyeballs on my product but there was
5:41 still a problem I need to turn these
5:52 dollars I knew one thing for certain
5:55 this hack was like a ticking Time Bomb
5:57 the mods were going to catch on to me
5:59 others would come and copy my strategy
6:02 stry I knew this wouldn't last forever I
6:06 needed to act and I needed to act fast
6:09 it was time to go all in initiate step

6:45 my audience I could sell them whatever I
6:49 wanted whenever I wanted without reddits
6:52 so I optimized a signup box on my site
6:54 to collect emails from the millions of
6:57 visitors then the email sign ups started
7:00 flooding in 100 email subscribers 200
7:04 email subscribers 500 email subscribers
7:09 but time was running out then one day it

7:30 must come to an end
7:33 the redditors formed a mob against me I
7:36 was dunzo but actually I was fine by
7:39 that point I built an email list to tens
7:42 of thousands of subscribers the formula
7:45 worked I captured that attention onto my
7:48 email list I had my own users and my own
7:50 product and my own business now and I
7:53 just quit my job to go all in on it and
7:55 as I look back I just remember how crazy
7:58 that whole thing was to launch something
8:00 and completely FL
8:02 and then one morning wake up to millions
8:05 of people using my product over the
8:06 years I've talked to thousands of
8:09 successful Founders they all have
8:11 stories like this they built something
8:14 nobody gave a and then they had to
8:16 figure out how to get in front of their
8:18 customers that's the secret sauce that
8:21 nobody talks about if I didn't focus on
