0:03 when people say no our our problem is
0:04 this our problem is that we say no no no
0:09 no our problem is that God created the
0:12 world and God created man and he put man
0:14 in the garden to keep the garden and he
0:16 gave the man a
0:19 command and he held that man to perfect
0:22 Perpetual obedience to that command and
0:25 he promised him life if he kept it and
0:28 death if he didn't and he didn't keep it
0:30 he ate and because he ate because of
0:33 that one man sin entered the world and
0:36 death through sin and everyone born from
0:39 that man through ordinary generation
0:41 inherited that man's sin
0:44 nature and because of that sin nature
0:48 sins proceed from it and our world is
0:50 broken because of that
0:53 sin and we stand guilty before a holy
0:56 and righteous God and we know that he's
0:58 holy and we know that he's righteous And
1:00 We crave
1:03 justice but the problem is that if God
1:06 gives us Justice we all
1:11 die and so that God in his goodness and
1:15 in his Mercy sent forth his son who was
1:18 not born of ordinary generation but was
1:21 born of a virgin yes the Virgin birth
1:24 matters why because if he's born of
1:27 ordinary generation he's born in sin but
1:29 because he's not born of ordinary
1:31 generation he's not not born in sin he's
1:34 clean of sin his record is clean and he
1:38 keeps his record clean and he obeys God's
1:39 God's
1:42 law and because he's fully God and fully
1:45 man he obeys the law of God on our
1:47 behalf in his active
1:51 obedience and then in his passive
1:53 obedience God made him who knew no sin
1:57 to be sin for us all we like sheep had
1:59 gone astray each of us had turned to his
2:02 own own way but God laid upon him the
2:05 iniquity of us all and Christ died for
2:09 sin once for all the just for the unjust
2:13 and God imputes our sinfulness to him
2:16 and he Nails our sinfulness to the
2:20 tree and Christ dies and raises again on
2:23 the third day for our justification and
2:25 there's another imputation the
2:27 righteousness of Christ is actually
2:30 imputed to us so that God can be both
2:33 just and the justifier of the one who
2:37 places faith in Jesus Christ so that all
2:40 those who come to Christ may enter in so
2:43 that all those who place faith in Christ
2:45 might be saved but not only
2:48 saved but
2:50 Sanctified because he's the first born
2:53 of many Brethren we're Justified and
2:56 we're adopted into the family of God and
2:58 we're Sanctified and as his children we
3:01 began to Bear the family resemblance and
3:03 we're further Sanctified throughout this
3:07 life by the very same gospel that saves
3:10 us until one day when it's all said and
3:12 done we're not just saved from the
3:15 penalty of sin we're not just saved from
3:18 the power of sin but one day we're
3:20 glorified and saved from the very
3:24 presence of sin that's the gospel that
3:28 we preach that's the gospel that we need
3:58 [Applause] enough
