0:02 Want to create animated short films
0:04 where characters actually talk, react,
0:08 and feel real. Just like this.
0:11 >> Wow, you're real. I was almost sure you
0:12 were AI.
0:14 >> Okay, real question. If this cafe
0:17 suddenly caught fire,
0:20 >> I'd save the coffee first, you second.
0:22 >> In this video, I will show you exactly
0:24 how to make scenes like this using only
0:27 AI. No design or animation skills
0:29 needed. Videos like these get millions
0:32 of views and creators are already making
0:34 money with them on YouTube. Let's jump
0:37 right in. To create the animated videos,
0:39 we will follow five simple steps. Step
0:41 one is creating the story. If you
0:43 already have a script ready, feel free
0:45 to skip ahead. But if you don't, no
0:48 worries. You can use chat GPT to
0:50 generate one in seconds. Here's a prompt
0:53 template you can use. Just plug in your
0:56 topic, define a theme, specify the
0:57 target age group, the number of
1:00 characters, desired story length, and
1:02 tone of dialogue. I have added examples
1:05 alongside each one to show you exactly
1:07 what to fill in. These are the settings
1:09 I will be using, but feel free to tweak
1:12 them to craft fresh, engaging stories
1:13 and character dialogues for your
1:16 animation. When you are ready, open chat
1:19 GPT and paste in the prompt template.
1:22 Hit send and within moments chat GPT
1:24 will generate a complete story line with
1:27 dialogues for every character. Once your
1:29 script is ready, simply copy it and
1:31 paste it into Google Docs or any text
1:34 editor to keep your project organized.
1:36 Now that the dialogues are ready, it's
1:39 time for step two, adding voices. You
1:41 can skip this step if you prefer to add
1:42 voices later during the lips sync
1:46 process. To begin, go to your script and
1:48 copy the first dialogue of Liam. Open
1:51 chat GPT and enter this text followed by
1:54 the dialogue and hit run. Just below the
1:57 generated response, you will see three
1:59 dots. Click on it, then select read
2:02 aloud. Chat GPT will read the line in a
2:04 natural expressive voice.
2:07 >> Wow, you're real. I was almost sure you
2:08 were AI.
2:09 >> If you want a different voice, on the
2:12 bottom left, click your profile icon and
2:15 go to settings. This window will pop up.
2:17 Under voice, use the dropown to choose
2:19 from a variety of male and female
2:22 voices. Select one and chat GPT will now
2:24 use that voice to read all your text.
2:27 >> Hello, it's lovely to meet you.
2:29 >> But there is no option to save the
2:32 audio. For an easy workound, open this
2:34 Chrome extension. Now, click add to
2:36 Chrome to install the extension. And
2:38 don't forget to pin the extension for
2:40 quick access later. To record your
2:43 audio, switch back to your chat GPT tab
2:46 and click on the extension. Then hit
2:48 start capture to begin recording. To
2:51 play the narration, tap the three dots.
2:53 Select read aloud and the voice over
2:54 will get recorded.
2:57 >> When finished, click the extension again
3:00 and hit stop capture to stop recording
3:02 and this page will open. Once the
3:03 processing is completed, you can
3:06 download the audio. Repeat this process
3:08 for each character in your story. Be
3:11 sure to name each audio file clearly so
3:13 you stay organized. Once all character
3:16 voiceovers are ready, we will move on to
3:19 step three, creating the scenes
3:21 using just two character images. Let me
3:23 show you what's possible. Here's the boy
3:26 riding a motorcycle to a cafe. And
3:28 here's another scene. A girl sitting at
3:31 a cafe table with perfect consistency.
3:34 Now imagine this. Both characters
3:36 sitting together inside a cafe or
3:40 relaxing on a park bench. Every scene
3:42 visually cohesive and perfectly
3:44 consistent. Let me show you this in action.
3:44 action.
3:47 >> Okay, real question. If this cafe
3:48 suddenly caught fire,
3:51 >> I'd save the coffee first. You
3:53 >> the best part. You don't need Photoshop.
3:55 You don't even need any drawing skills.
3:57 Let me walk you through how it's done.
3:59 I'm using a platform called Design.ai,
4:02 AI, an all-in-one creative suite with
4:04 tools for image generation, lip sync,
4:08 and animation. Inside Design.ai, there's
4:10 a new image model called Nano Banana,
4:12 and it's seriously impressive. Here's
4:15 how to get started. Go to design.ai from
4:17 the link in the description and create
4:20 your account. Once you are in, click on
4:22 new project.
4:24 The first step is to set your canvas
4:27 ratio and name your project. Then click
4:30 apply. At the top you will see the
4:32 toolbar and on the left are all the main
4:35 AI features available in canvas. For
4:37 this example click on the canvas area
4:40 and upload an image. Now click on the
4:42 uploaded picture. This will bring up the
4:44 editing panel at the bottom. Click on
4:47 chat editor and from the drop down on
4:50 the left select nano banana as your
4:52 image model. You can also change the
4:54 aspect ratio from here. To generate a
4:56 scene from the image, you will need to
4:59 enter a prompt. Let me show you a few
5:02 examples. Here's the first one. The girl
5:04 is sitting in a cafe placing an order
5:06 with a waiter standing nearby. In this
5:09 one, she's holding a cat while sitting
5:11 at the same cafe. Then I uploaded a
5:13 picture of the boy and typed the boy
5:16 riding a motorcycle. You can also upload
5:18 more images by clicking the plus icon.
5:20 Here's one with both the boy and the
5:22 girl sitting together in a cafe. Just
5:24 repeat this process to generate all your
5:26 scenes and download them to your
5:29 computer when you're done. Let's walk
5:31 through the lipsyncing process. To
5:33 begin, click on the lips sync tab. You
5:36 have two options to start with. Pick a
5:38 face image or upload a face video. Let's
5:41 start with a face image. I will pick
5:44 this image to upload it to the canvas.
5:46 design will automatically detect all the
5:49 faces in the image, making it easy to
5:51 lip-s sync multiple characters in a
5:53 single scene. Here's how it works. Click
5:56 on the face you want to lip-s sync. To
5:58 sync multiple characters, select them in
6:01 the order they speak, first, second, and
6:04 so on. Then click next. The image and
6:06 selected characters will now appear in
6:09 the timeline. Click on pick a voice for
6:12 the first character to open this window.
6:14 Under text to speech, enter the
6:16 character's dialogue.
6:18 Then under voice tone, browse through
6:20 the voices and preview them before
6:21 picking one.
6:22 >> Hold on to your hats, folks.
6:24 >> But as we already have our voice tracks
6:26 prepared, I will switch to the upload
6:29 audio tab and upload the audio file
6:31 instead. Once uploaded, it will appear
6:34 in the timeline. Repeat the process for
6:36 any additional characters,
6:38 arranging each audio file in the
6:41 timeline as needed. On the left panel,
6:44 you get two generation modes. Pro is for
6:46 multi characters and better movement and
6:49 clarity. Finally, click generate. And in
6:51 a few moments, your lips synced video
6:54 will be ready. As you will see, the tool
6:56 does an impressive job syncing lip movements.
6:57 movements.
7:00 >> Wow, you're real. I was almost sure you
7:01 were AI. >> Disappointed.
7:02 >> Disappointed.
7:04 But the character movements are quite
7:06 limited. So what if you want to take it
7:08 a step further? Imagine your characters
7:11 moving, reacting, even using gestures
7:14 and expressions, just like in a real
7:16 conversation. That's exactly what design
7:19 lets you do. With video lips sync, you
7:21 can turn a still image into an animated
7:23 video with lifelike motion and then sync
7:25 it with audio. This approach allows your
7:28 characters to move naturally. Use hand gestures
7:30 gestures
7:32 >> and react with realistic body language.
7:35 It adds a whole new level of expression
7:37 and engagement to your scenes. Let me
7:39 show you how it works. On the left
7:42 panel, click on AI video. You will see
7:44 that design integrates with some of the
7:48 best AI video generators available.
7:50 For this example, I will choose cling
7:54 2.5. Next, click on the upload icon and
7:56 select the image you want to animate. In
7:58 the prompt box on the left, describe the
8:00 kind of motion or expression you'd like
8:02 to see in your video. For example,
8:05 subtle gestures, head movements, or
8:08 emotional reactions. Then, choose the
8:09 duration for your video and click
8:12 generate. Once your video is ready,
8:15 simply download it to your computer. And
8:17 here's the result. To get more
8:19 expressive results, you can also include
8:22 hand gestures or body language cues
8:24 directly in your prompt. To add lips
8:27 sync to the video, click this tab to
8:29 head back to the lip sync page. Click
8:32 the upload a face video button to upload
8:34 the video you just created. And just
8:36 like before, it will automatically
8:39 detect the faces. Select the faces and
8:43 hit next. Then continue just as before
8:44 and upload the audio of the first
8:46 character followed by the second
8:49 character. Arrange the audio in the
8:52 timeline and hit generate. After a few
8:54 minutes, your lips synced video will be
8:57 generated. Click this button to download
8:59 the video. And here is the result.
9:02 >> Wow, you're real. I was almost sure you
9:03 were AI.
9:05 >> Disappointed. This method brings your
9:07 characters and scenes to life with
9:10 greater realism and expression. By
9:12 spending a little extra time refining
9:14 the movements and overall scene, you
9:16 will achieve a much more polished and
9:18 professional result.
9:20 >> Repeat this process for all the scenes
9:22 you had created and turn them into
9:24 video. Then lip sync them and download
9:27 them to your computer. Once done, open
9:29 any video editor. I will go with
9:32 Clipchamp. Import all the video clips.
9:34 Arrange them in the order of your story
9:38 and export it as your short AI film.
9:41 >> Wow, you're real. I was almost sure you
9:42 were AI.
9:44 >> Okay, real question. If this cafe
9:46 suddenly caught fire,
9:50 >> I'd save the coffee first, you second.
9:53 >> Good answer. Shows priorities and
9:57 honesty. Next time, don't be late.
9:59 >> Next time,
10:01 >> don't ruin the moment. That's how you
10:04 can create AI animated films using
10:06 Design AI. Link in the description. If
10:08 this helped, check out these other
10:10 tutorials to see what else is possible
