0:17 live in a world where a 17-year-old with
0:20 a laptop can build what used to take 50
0:23 employees 5 years ago. I launch a new AI
0:25 company every month and I see it with my
0:27 own eyes. The barrier to entry has never
0:29 been lower. So, in this video, I'm going
0:31 to show you how to figure out where you
0:33 sit in this shift right now. How to
0:35 completely rethink the way you work so
0:38 AI works for you instead of against you
0:40 and a brand new market that AI created
0:42 that's going to pave the way for the
0:44 next wave of billionaires. Starting with
0:46 where you sit right now. Point number
0:50 one, three categories of replacement.
0:53 There's only three ways AI is replacing
0:55 people right now. Not next year, right
0:58 now. Category number one, AI first
0:59 people, they're just replacing other
1:02 people. I mean, one person using AI does
1:04 the work of five who don't. If someone
1:06 walks into your company and outproduces
1:09 five other people, those five are gone.
1:11 Category number two, AI is replacing
1:14 complete departments. No human in the
1:16 loop anymore. Customer support,
1:19 bookkeeping, content, AI handles the
1:21 whole function end to end. The job still
1:23 exists. It's just people inside of those
1:25 departments just aren't doing it. And
1:28 category number three, AI is replacing
1:31 entire businesses. The thing you sell
1:33 stops being what people pay for.
1:36 Translation agencies gone. Basic tax
1:39 prep done. Designers done. Software
1:41 companies are getting absolutely
1:44 decimated. Done. AI doesn't do it
1:45 cheaper. It makes the whole freaking
1:47 thing unnecessary. So now you're
1:49 probably thinking, "AI can't do what I
1:52 do. I am a specialist. I've got tons of
1:54 experience and all this background and
1:57 I'm an artist. Well, you might just not
1:59 know of some AI tool that already does.
2:01 And even if you think it can't, it will.
2:03 Just look how much it's grown. And
2:05 you've heard it time and time again. AI
2:08 won't replace you, but someone using it
2:10 will. So, now we see how people are
2:11 getting replaced with those three
2:13 levels. But most people hear this and go
2:15 into defense mode. But the people who
2:18 actually get rich from this, you, they
2:20 don't play defense, they play offense.
2:22 Let me show you what that looks like.
2:25 Point number two, AI first thinking.
2:27 Replace yourself before someone else
2:30 does. The people on the winning side of
2:32 this aren't protecting their old way of
2:34 working. They're saying to themselves, I
2:37 need to change what I focus on. I'm
2:39 going to give that to the AI cuz the
2:40 truth is I wasn't adding any really
2:42 unique and different value, but I'm
2:44 going to set myself up where while I get
2:46 that time back, I'm going to go and do
2:47 something different. These people are
2:49 disrupting themselves. They're actually
2:51 saying, "I know I don't have a job in
2:53 the future." And then they replace their
2:55 own processes with AI before somebody
2:57 does it to them. It's first principle
3:00 thinking. Grab a blank piece of paper, a
3:02 blank slate, and ask yourself, "As the
3:04 AI gets better, what part of my job is
3:06 not needed?" If you had no career right
3:08 now, you had nothing. What would you
3:10 build today with AI? That's what your
3:12 weekend should be looking like. The
3:15 people doing 10 times more, 10 times
3:17 faster got there by replacing themselves
3:19 first. Nobody had to ask them to do
3:21 this. You should be looking to disrupt
3:23 yourself. You need to ask yourself, if
3:25 somebody was competing against me with
3:27 10 times more AI experience than me, how
3:29 would they do it? Don't let that person
3:30 figure it out cuz they're out there
3:32 doing it right now. You just don't know
3:33 about them yet. Have you not seen all
3:35 the layoffs? Meta rumor they're going to
3:37 lay off 20% of their team. Block, which
3:39 was Square, Jack Dorsey's company, laid
3:43 off 40% of his team. All AI related. The
3:44 wave is starting. Get ahead of it. And
3:47 just so you know, this story repeats
3:49 itself every single time there's a major
3:51 shift. You know, they say history
3:53 doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes.
3:55 Radio refused to believe television was
3:58 going to be the future. Gone. Newspaper
3:59 refused to believe the internet would
4:02 replace print. Gone. Billboard
4:03 companies, I mean, nobody's going to
4:06 take us. Facebook ads replace them.
4:08 Gone. Blockbuster, we all know the
4:10 story. Believe that streaming wasn't
4:12 coming. Netflix said, "Hold my drink.
4:14 Watch me cook." Boom. Scratch that. Next
4:16 thing you know, Blockbuster's going
4:18 bankrupt. They all chose to protect
4:19 their old way of doing business instead
4:21 of saying, "Hey, why don't I be the
4:23 person that disrupts my own business
4:25 model before everybody else?" Another
4:27 frame is to think about competing
4:30 against 10 other companies. How would
4:32 you use AI to compete against them? Do
4:35 that. That reframing that thinking is
4:36 called first principles. And every
4:38 single one of the examples I just gave
4:40 got replaced by someone who thought that
4:43 way. They saw where the world was going.
4:44 They said, "I can see the trend line and
4:47 I will get there first." So, what do you
4:48 actually do about this? Well, here's the
4:51 exercise I did with my whole team. First
4:52 thing is I asked them to write down
4:54 everything they do in a typical week.
4:56 I'm talking about the workflows. It's
4:57 not about the roles anymore. It's about
4:59 the workflow. So, write down all the
5:01 unique little different things you do.
5:03 The second step is go through each one
5:05 of those items, everything wrote down,
5:07 and ask yourself, if I was starting from
5:10 zero today, would I do it this way or
5:12 would I have AI handle it? or what part
5:15 of it could it be handled by AI. Then
5:17 the third step is anything AI could
5:20 handle. That's what I replace first. For
5:22 example, going through your emails,
5:24 negotiating things for you,
5:26 coordinating, writing like you,
5:29 researching stuff. Literally, honestly,
5:31 everything. There's so many things that
5:33 even 2 months ago, a month ago, it
5:35 couldn't do that now it does better than
5:37 a human. And number four, and this is
5:39 the goal, is that you should only be
5:42 doing things that AI can't do for you.
5:43 So think about it. You know what AI
5:45 can't do? I call it hard for computers,
5:47 easy for humans. It's things like
5:50 talking to people, negotiating feelings,
5:51 cracking a joke, understanding the
5:53 nuance in things. It's anytime there's
5:55 humans involved. The good news, you just
5:56 have to free up your time so you have
5:58 time to talk to them. And look, if you

6:13 you work, how you operate, but we have
6:15 to do the same exercise with what you
6:17 sell because that's where the real money
6:20 is. Point number three, sell impossible outcomes.
6:22 outcomes.
6:25 Everybody's racing to sell AI chat bots,
6:29 AI assistants, AI calling tools. They'll
6:31 be commoditized in the next 18 months.
6:33 You do realize this. The other day I was
6:34 doing my Kings Club program and there
6:37 was a hundred kids and 37 of them were
6:39 all starting AI phone services for local
6:41 businesses. Why? Because their dad or
6:42 their mom or somebody told them to do
6:44 it. The real money isn't selling AI
6:46 tools. It's in selling the results that
6:49 couldn't exist before AI. It's not how
6:51 do I use AI to be able to do something I
6:54 do today cheaper. It's what can I offer
6:57 now that nobody else could have offered
6:59 before. Either the cost structure or the
7:01 complexity or you didn't even know how.
7:02 You're not competing with other people
7:04 in that instance. The thing you're
7:06 selling didn't exist until you built it.
7:08 At Martell Ventures, my AI venture
7:10 studio, we just launched yet another
7:12 company that's already at a million
7:14 dollars in run rate with two people, a
7:16 business lead and a technical lead. And
7:18 the reason why is they're building a
7:20 solution that you couldn't even do
7:22 before. Technically, it wasn't feasible.
7:25 The complexity, the data, the analysis,
7:28 it required AI to make it happen. No
7:30 massive full-time team, no $10 million
7:32 in funding, no massive data
7:36 infrastructure, not even an office, two
7:38 people, a million in revenue in a few
7:40 weeks. The big reframe for you to
7:42 consider is that in a world where AI
7:44 solves every problem. Then the problem
7:46 to solve is knowing what problem to
7:49 solve. It's a sequencing problem. The
7:52 right sequence equals success. So, how
7:53 do we find the right problem we're
7:55 solving in the age of AI? The first
7:57 thing you have to do is find a painful
8:00 problem. I'm talking hair on fire,
8:03 bruise, open wound, thirsty in a desert.
8:05 Like, I've got pain. Do you have a pill
8:07 that solves it? Cuz guess what? AI will
8:09 never change that. That will always be a
8:12 needed piece of the recipe to win.
8:14 Number two is look up the people
8:16 currently fixing that problem and
8:18 understand how their solution looks,
8:20 right? Just like go interview their
8:22 customers, be a secret shopper, call
8:24 them up, fill out the form, talk to
8:26 them. The third step is ask yourself,
8:29 how can I use AI to do this in half the
8:32 time, twice as fast, way cheaper,
8:34 better? The answer is there. And guess
8:36 what? If you don't know, ask the AI. And
8:38 then lastly, go to step four, which is
8:41 pre-ell it. Describe it like it already
8:44 exists. See, the problem has always been
8:46 not can you build it, it's does anybody
8:48 want to buy it? Where do they hang out?
8:51 How do I find them? do that first before
8:52 you go invest all this time and energy
8:54 to build something to know that there's
8:56 a market and there's validation. If
8:57 someone pulls out their wallet and pays
8:59 you for it, build it. And if they don't,
9:01 you just saved yourself months of
9:03 building something nobody wanted in the
9:06 first place. So, you've rethought how
9:08 you work. You've rethought what you
9:10 sell. But there's this one more shift
9:12 that's coming that almost nobody's
9:14 talking about yet. And the people who
9:16 see it first are going to own the next
9:19 decade. Point number four, sell to
9:23 agents, not just people. AI agents, AI
9:25 agents, AI agents. It's like the new
9:26 hotness. But most people don't
9:28 understand what it means. It's very
9:30 simple. You have a program that is
9:32 powered by AI, and it runs in a place,
9:34 call it your computer, and it does
9:37 things for you. What's crazy is that it
9:38 can do everything, which means it can
9:40 also make decisions on what tools it
9:42 use. It can make decisions on how much
9:43 it's willing to spend based on what you
9:45 told it as a budget. So now all of a
9:48 sudden the AI is making decisions on
9:51 buying, not the human. Do you understand
9:53 how different this is? Let me give you
9:55 examples. I've paid for 13 different
9:57 tools in the last 10 days. Okay? 13
10:00 different APIs, services, data
10:02 providers. I didn't make that decision.
10:05 The AI told me it was the best based on
10:07 what I was trying to build. It went and
10:09 signed up for me. It set up my account
10:12 for me. I didn't buy the agent bot. In
10:15 the next year or two, people won't shop
10:16 for themselves anymore. They'll have a
10:19 single AI agent that does it all. They
10:22 find, they compare, they buy it all on
10:24 your behalf. You're no longer just
10:26 selling to humans. You're selling to the
10:29 AI agents. McKenzie projects that that
10:32 market alone will hit 3 to 5 trillion
10:35 with a T by 2030. Whatever you sell
10:37 today, you need to think about how AI
10:40 agents will find you and buy from you.
10:41 And it's different than the way humans
10:43 do it. Coinbase, which is one of the
10:45 largest crypto exchanges in the world,
10:47 they knew that agents were eventually
10:48 going to need to buy things. So, they
10:50 built a new feature called a Gentic
10:52 wallet. That's a real thing. The head of
10:54 engineer literally said like in the
10:56 future, it's not a person. It's the
10:58 agent that's going to decide how much
10:59 they're going to spend and what they're
11:00 going to do and how they're going to
11:02 save their money. Sounds crazy, but
11:04 that's not a future thing. That's a now
11:06 thing. It's here right now. Wouldn't you
11:08 make that trade knowing how good AI is?
11:10 is like when you ask it a question and
11:11 it gives you like perfect recall. Do you
11:13 think maybe it knows personal finance
11:15 better than you? Maybe. Do you think
11:16 it'd be cool if you could just give it
11:17 something you want to buy and all of a
11:19 sudden it goes and does all the work,
11:20 researches it, finds the best deal,
11:21 negotiates the discount code, and all of
11:24 a sudden it has access to a limited
11:25 amount of funds and it just buys things
11:27 on your behalf. That's a today thing.
11:30 Your business has to get ready for those
11:32 agents looking for people like you if
11:34 you get ready so they can find you and
11:36 buy from you. Think of it like this. You
11:38 have vendor A. Okay, it's a beautiful
11:40 website. The pricing says contact us for
11:42 a quote and they can fill out a form and
11:44 there's services described in vague
11:47 marketing language. An AI agent can't
11:48 buy from that company. It doesn't know
11:50 what you sell. It doesn't know how much
11:51 it costs. It doesn't even know where to
11:53 start. Then you've got vendor B. Think
11:55 about it. Offer is spelled out on the
11:57 homepage clearly, simple. The services
12:00 are clear. The pricing, the turnaround,
12:02 how to get started is literally click
12:04 click here and get a token. An AI agent
12:07 can read vendor B's website. it can
12:09 compare it to 10 other options and make
12:11 the buying decision in seconds. So now
12:13 when you go to update or build a new
12:15 website, your offer dock, a landing
12:17 page, whatever it is, you have to keep
12:19 these two things in mind. One, did I
12:22 spell out the offer in plain structured
12:24 terms? What do you do? What does it
12:25 cost? What do the clients get and how
12:28 fast? And made it available to agents to
12:30 find and scan that. That's a technical
12:32 feature on your website. And two, don't
12:34 try to get fancy. The agent doesn't care
12:36 how beautiful your website, how many
12:38 parallax effects and animations you got
12:40 going on, and how much you spend on it.
12:42 They just want to know, is it clear, and
12:44 can I understand it? This might feel
12:46 like it's early, but early is exactly
12:49 where the money is. Now, this isn't
12:50 about panic, and it's about playing
12:53 offense, not defense. In 5 years from
12:54 now, people are going to look back on
12:56 this moment, and they're going to ask
12:59 themselves, I could have been early to
13:02 the internet like 1999. Did I take
13:05 advantage of it? Or Bitcoin in 2009.
13:07 Imagine if you want to mind a thousand
13:08 bitcoins what your life would look like
13:10 today. So, you don't need to be a tech
13:12 person. The cool part is AI can be the
13:14 tech person for you. You don't need to
13:16 write code. AI does that for you, too.
13:18 You just need to see the shift like I
13:20 just explained it to you and move before
13:23 everyone else does. Being early is how
13:25 we win in today's market. So, do me a
