0:02 If you see these signs, God is preparing
0:05 you for a major, and I mean major,
0:06 breakthrough. And I'm going to tell you
0:08 things I've learned firsthand, things
0:09 that I've experienced firsthand, along
0:11 with things that are clear in the Bible.
0:13 I think there are signs that God gives
0:15 us before he's about to level us up and
0:17 give us a major breakthrough that are
0:18 consistent. They're a pattern that God
0:20 has every single time where he's about
0:22 to level someone up and give them a
0:24 major breakthrough. God will give you
0:26 these signs. And so, if you relate to
0:27 these signs, just know you got a major
0:29 breakthrough on the way. And I'm going
0:30 just give you a little spoiler alert
0:32 before we get into the signs. It ain't
0:33 going to be comfortable. God is going to
0:35 make you uncomfortable. The devil is
0:37 going to attack you. Okay? So, I'm I'm
0:38 not trying to spoil it right now, but
0:39 before we get into it, I just want to
0:41 make something clear that these signs
0:43 are not going to be very comfortable.
0:44 But that's okay because God is much more
0:46 interested in your character than your
0:48 comfort. And so, that's enough yapping
0:49 for right now, man. Let's get into the
0:51 signs that you are about to get a major
0:53 breakthrough. So, sign number one is
0:55 that the devil starts attacking you. M
0:57 and we see this happen time and time
0:58 again in the Bible in the story of
1:00 David, in the story of Joseph, in the
1:02 story of Jesus. We see time and time
1:04 again that the devil attacks you the
1:05 most when you're closest to your
1:06 breakthrough and that the greatest
1:08 battles always happen right before the
1:10 greatest blessings. The devil doesn't
1:11 attack people who are going in the wrong
1:13 direction. He could care less about
1:15 those people. The devil attacks people
1:16 who are close close to their
1:18 breakthrough, close to their miracle,
1:20 close to their calling. The devil knows
1:21 you're about to be blessed. He knows
1:22 you're about to get your breakthrough.
1:24 And how does the devil attack you? Well,
1:25 he can attack you physically,
1:26 spiritually, mentally, emotionally. He
1:29 can attack you through fear, temptation,
1:31 discouragement, disappointment,
1:33 distractions. That's a big one. If the
1:34 devil can't destroy you, he'll distract
1:36 you. And he'll send everything at you
1:38 just to get you off track. He wants to
1:39 get your mind off of God. I mean, think
1:41 about Peter when he was walking on
1:42 water. He was walking on water as long
1:44 as he kept his focus on Jesus. But as
1:46 soon as he turned away and got
1:47 distracted, he started to sink. That's
1:49 what the devil wants you to do. So,
1:50 he'll send everything your way to get
1:52 you distracted. And the devil only
1:54 fights what he fears. So if the devil is
1:56 attacking you, take it as a compliment
1:58 and be like, "Thank you, God, that I'm
2:00 worthy of being attacked by the devil,
2:02 that you would allow the devil to attack
2:03 me." Because God doesn't give his
2:04 toughest battles to his weakest
2:07 soldiers. And the bigger the battle, the
2:08 bigger the blessing, the greater the
2:10 conflict, the greater the calling. When
2:12 God wanted to make David king, he didn't
2:14 give him a crown. He gave him a giant.
2:16 If God put a Goliath in front of you,
2:18 it's because he knows there's a David
2:21 inside of you. Maybe your path is harder
2:23 because your calling is higher. And
2:25 sometimes the weight is longer, because
2:27 the blessing is bigger. But God's not
2:29 making you wait to make it difficult.
2:31 God's making you wait to make you ready.
2:33 Because while you're waiting, God is
2:35 working. Not just on your situation, but
2:36 on you. Because God already knows the
2:38 right time, the right place, the right
2:40 person, and the right answers to all of
2:42 your prayers. And he already has it
2:44 prepared for you. He's just preparing
2:46 you for it. Because what good is the
2:47 right blessing if it's the wrong version
2:49 of you? The right thing at the wrong
2:51 time is still the wrong thing. It's like
2:53 if I were a parent and I had a
2:54 six-year-old son and he was like, "Mike,
2:56 give me a car. I want a car." I'd be
2:57 like, "Nah, bro. You ain't getting no
2:59 car." And he's like, "Mike, come on. I
3:00 want to drive. I want to go on the
3:01 road." But I'm like, "Nah, bro. You
3:03 ain't getting a car. You can't even
3:04 reach the pedals. You can't even look
3:06 over the steering wheel." And why would
3:07 I tell him that? It's not because I
3:08 don't love him. It's because I really
3:10 love him. I love him too much to give
3:12 him something he's not ready for yet.
3:14 And the same is true with God. God has
3:15 to shape you. and mold you into the
3:17 person who can actually carry that
3:19 blessing without being crushed by it.
3:20 The worst thing God can do is give you
3:22 something you want before you're ready
3:24 for it. I mean, think about it like
3:26 this. If a kid was crossing the road and
3:28 there was a whole lot of traffic on the
3:29 road and they were about to get hit by a
3:31 car, if I'm the parent to that kid, I'm
3:33 going to grab the kid and tell him to
3:35 wait. You ain't crossing this road yet.
3:37 Why? Not because I don't love him, but
3:39 because I really love him. I love him
3:41 too much to let him get hit by a car. to
3:43 let him have something he wants at the
3:44 time, but he doesn't realize it's going
3:46 to hurt him later on. And that's how a
3:48 lot of us need to think about it when it
3:49 comes to our breakthrough, when it comes
3:51 to that thing we've been praying for for
3:53 so long. God doesn't want to give you a
3:54 burnt blessing. You guys have heard me
3:55 talk about this before, but I love
3:57 showing this picture right here of the
3:58 two chickens. The chicken on the left
4:00 side says it was cooked for 1 hour at
4:03 900° F, and that thing came out burnt.
4:05 But that chicken on the right says 3
4:07 hours at 300° Fahrenheit and it came out
4:09 way better. And that's how God operates,
4:11 too. God doesn't give out burnt
4:13 blessings. He gives out juicy, tasty
4:15 blessings. And he's not going to rush
4:16 your breakthrough. He's not going to
4:18 rush your answered prayers just because
4:19 you want it now. No, he's going to take
4:21 his time because God's timing is
4:23 perfect. The Bible says he makes
4:25 everything beautiful in his time, not my
4:28 time, not your time, his time. And God
4:30 is never late. We're just impatient. I
4:32 want to really talk about the stories of
4:34 Joseph, David, and Jesus. My three
4:35 favorite stories in the Bible. And
4:37 notice how all of their stories got
4:39 worse before they got better. Let's talk
4:40 about Joseph. Joseph literally got a
4:42 dream from God about how he was going to
4:44 be great one day. Like God showed him
4:45 his future. But right after that, his
4:48 life did not get easier. It got worse.
4:50 His brothers literally hated him. I
4:51 mean, they literally hated him so much
4:53 that they threw him into a pit and sold
4:54 him into slavery. They sold him to
4:56 Egypt. And then once he's there, he gets
4:57 thrown into prison for something he
4:59 didn't even do. Somebody lied about him.
5:01 So Joseph gets a dream, then he gets
5:02 thrown into a pit. Then he gets sold
5:03 into slavery, and then put into prison
5:05 for something he didn't even do. If I'm
5:06 Joseph, I'm looking up to God like,
5:08 "God, why did you give me that dream?
5:10 Were you just messing with me?" But God
5:11 didn't forget about Joseph. He was
5:13 building him the entire time. Because
5:14 God didn't want to just give Joseph the
5:16 palace. He wanted to turn him into the
5:18 person who could actually handle the
5:20 palace. And what happened at the right
5:22 time, at God's perfect time, he pulled
5:24 him out of that prison and he became
5:26 second in command over all of Egypt. But
5:28 none of that would have happened if he
5:29 didn't go through the junk. That's why I
5:31 want to show this picture as well. The
5:33 top is your plan and the bottom is God's
5:35 plan. on the top. It's just point A to
5:37 point B. Easy peasy. No trials or
5:40 tribulations. No hills or valleys. Just
5:42 easy, smooth, comfortable. But that's
5:44 not God's plan for your life. Because
5:46 God's plan has hills. It has valleys. It
5:49 has trials and tribulations. Why?
5:51 Because those things are what shape and
5:52 mold you into the person who can
5:54 actually carry the blessing without
5:56 being crushed by it. Everything you've
5:58 been through in your life up until this
6:00 point has made you into the person that
6:01 you are. If you didn't go through the
6:03 junk you had to go through, you would
6:04 not have the traits that you have today.
6:06 That's why the Bible says that we are
6:07 refined when we go through the fire.
6:09 Sometimes God has to break you down to
6:11 build you up way bigger and better than
6:12 you were before. Because God's not
6:14 looking for someone to bless. He's
6:16 looking for someone to trust. And God
6:18 doesn't just trust you with blessings.
6:20 He trusts you with breaking. Before
6:23 Jesus multiplied the bread, he broke it.
6:25 Sometimes God has to break you before he
6:26 blesses you. Grapes are crushed to make
6:29 wine. Olives are pressed to make oil.
6:32 Seeds grow in darkness. Diamonds form
6:33 under pressure. If you feel crushed,
6:36 pressed in darkness or under pressure,
6:38 you better just get ready because God is
6:40 about to cook in your life. He's about
6:41 to take your set back and use it as a
6:44 set up for a comeback. And with God, the
6:46 comeback is always greater than the
6:47 setback. And I also wanted to show a
6:49 video of what it looks like when a seed
6:51 is planted and when it grows. So notice
6:53 that the seed is put under the soil
6:54 right there, right? It looks dark.
6:56 Nothing's happening. And that's where a
6:57 lot of you guys are right now. You feel
6:59 like it's dark. nothing is going on. You
7:01 feel like God forgot about you. You feel
7:03 like God buried you and he's done with
7:05 you. But watch this. Notice how it
7:06 breaks open right there. Just like I
7:08 talk about, sometimes God has to break
7:10 you before he blesses you. But keep on
7:12 watching. Notice how it grows down
7:13 before it grows up. And that's God's
7:15 process with giving us a breakthrough.
7:17 Because watch this. Now it breaks
7:19 through and it goes through the soil and
7:21 it starts growing up up up. And that's
7:23 what your guys' breakthrough is going to
7:24 look like. Just like Joseph, it looked
7:26 like he was being buried, but really he
7:28 was being planted. It looked like God
7:30 was punishing him, but really God was
7:32 positioning him and preparing him. And
7:33 at just the right time, just like the
7:35 Bible says, at just the right time, we
7:38 will reap a harvest of blessing if we do
7:40 not give up. Before God takes you
7:41 higher, he takes you deeper. You know,
7:43 the tallest skyscrapers in the world
7:45 have to be built down before they're
7:46 ever built up. If I can find a picture
7:48 of it, I'll put a picture on the screen
7:50 right now of a skyscraper before it's
7:52 built up. They got to build down. They
7:54 got to build the foundations because the
7:55 higher you want to build something, the
7:57 deeper you got to go down. And so, thank
7:59 God that he's taking his time with you.
8:01 If you feel like you're a seed being
8:02 planted right now and you feel like
8:04 you're just in a dark season where
8:06 nothing's happening, praise God that
8:07 he's taking his time because that means
8:09 the deeper he takes you, the higher he's
8:10 going to take you as well. God has a
8:12 pattern with everything he does. Like
8:14 before he gives somebody a breakthrough,
8:16 he allows the devil to attack them. He
8:19 allows pain. He allows our life to get
8:21 harder. I mean, think about Jesus right
8:23 before he started his ministry. What
8:24 happened? He was fasting for 40 days and
8:26 40 nights and he was being tempted by
8:28 the devil because the devil knew who
8:29 Jesus was. The devil knew what Jesus was
8:31 about to do. So, he attacked him right
8:32 at the jump, right at the start. He was
8:34 trying to stop Jesus before he could do
8:36 what he was about to do. But Jesus
8:37 didn't fold. He didn't quit. He didn't
8:39 compromise. And neither should you.
8:40 Because you will receive your
8:42 breakthrough if you just keep going.
8:43 That's what the verse said. At just the
8:45 right time, we will reap a harvest of
8:47 blessing if we do not give up. It didn't
8:49 say we might reap a harvest of blessing.
8:52 It didn't say maybe. It said we will if
8:54 we just don't give up. And I always got
8:55 to show this picture whenever I'm
8:57 talking about this topic because you
8:59 could be this close. The devil wants you
9:01 to turn back and quit. He wants you to
9:03 give up. That dude on the bottom was one
9:05 swing away from reaching the diamonds,
9:07 but he turned back. He gave up too soon.
9:08 And that's exactly what the devil wants
9:10 you to do. Don't let the devil have the
9:12 satisfaction of seeing you quit. If
9:13 you're relating to anything I'm saying
9:15 right now and you just feel tired, you
9:16 feel exhausted. You feel like throwing
9:18 in the towel, I'm here to tell you,
9:20 don't throw in that towel. Use the towel
9:22 to wipe off the sweat and keep going.
9:24 Because it's not a coincidence your life
9:26 has been getting harder. God never
9:28 allows pain without a purpose. God will
9:30 never let you get comfortable in a place
9:32 that you don't belong. Why? Because
9:34 growth literally requires you to be
9:36 uncomfortable. No resistance means no
9:38 growth. When you work out, you don't get
9:40 stronger first, you get weaker first.
9:41 You don't feel better first, you feel
9:43 worse first. Your muscles literally have
9:46 to tear before they grow. If you're
9:47 comfortable, you don't change. If you're
9:49 comfortable, you don't move. And God
9:51 didn't create you to just stay stuck.
9:52 God didn't create you to live the same
9:54 year over and over and over. Sometimes
9:55 he's got to make you uncomfortable so
9:57 that you can move. You pray for God to
9:58 give you strength, and he's going to
10:00 give you the weights, not the muscles,
10:02 because strength is not built with
10:04 comfort. It's built with resistance. And
10:06 God is much more interested in your
10:08 character than your comfort. You pray
10:10 for flowers and God's going to send the
10:12 rain. And you got to deal with the mud
10:14 when you pray for the rain. I know this
10:15 video is relating to somebody. I know
10:17 somebody's watching this and is just
10:19 saying, "I'm facing all this. I feel all
10:20 this going on right now." I'm here to
10:21 tell you that's a good thing because God
10:23 didn't let Joseph get comfortable in
10:25 that pit. God didn't let Jesus get
10:27 comfortable in that tomb. I wish I had
10:28 some help in here, man. God didn't let
10:30 them get comfortable. Why? Because they
10:32 weren't meant to stay there. So, if your
10:33 life feels uncomfortable right now,
10:35 good. It's because you're meant for
10:36 more. You're not meant to stay where
10:38 you're at. And maybe God is making you
10:39 uncomfortable because you're about to
10:40 get to the next level. And you've been
10:42 praying, "God, change my life." And he's
10:44 trying to tell you, "I am." That's why
10:45 you're uncomfortable. I'm literally
10:47 changing your life right now. Because
10:48 you can either have comfort or you can
10:50 have a calling. You can't have both. You
10:52 can't have purpose without pain. You
10:54 can't have a testimony without a test.
10:56 You can't have a message without a mess.
10:58 The harder the thing is you're going
10:59 through right now, the better it's going
11:00 to make your story when it's all said
11:02 and done. No good story happens from
11:04 everything going right. Have you ever
11:05 watched a movie and it was just sunshine
11:07 and rainbows the entire time? Like there
11:09 was no antagonist. There was no
11:11 conflict. It was just a perfect peaceful
11:14 story with no plot twist, no anything
11:17 that would make the audience engaged.
11:18 No, they don't make movies like that
11:20 because they're not interesting. And the
11:22 truth is sometimes you got to go through
11:23 something you don't want to go through
11:25 so that God can get you to where he
11:26 wants you to go to. And this all goes
11:28 back to my main point with this video.
11:30 before God will bless you and give you a
11:32 breakthrough on the outside. He'll shape
11:34 you and mold you and change you on the
11:36 inside. He'll allow the devil to attack
11:38 you. He'll allow your life to get
11:40 harder. He'll allow the pain. God will
11:42 never allow pain without a purpose.
11:44 He'll allow people to leave your life.
11:46 It might not make sense, but how many of
11:48 you guys know that faith doesn't have to
11:50 make sense? Faith makes miracles. Faith
11:52 makes a way where there is no way. God
11:53 is building your foundations. He's
11:55 taking you deeper before he takes you
11:57 higher. Because the roots grow before
11:58 the fruit shows. And if God is taking
12:00 his time with the roots, you already
12:01 know he's about to take you higher than
12:03 you ever thought you could go. God's
12:04 timing is perfect, y'all. And I know
12:05 you're waiting for your breakthrough.
12:07 You're waiting for that open door. But
12:10 before God opens the next door, praise
12:12 him in the hallway because he might not
12:13 even open the door. He might just remove
12:15 the ceiling and you'll go higher than
12:16 you ever thought you could go. Can I get
