0:03 Queen Cersei Lannister is my second
0:04 favorite Viewpoint character in A Song
0:07 of Ice and Fire excluding the obvious
0:08 she's very different from her television
0:10 counterpart her television counterpart
0:12 is exceptionally more put together we're
0:14 never in her head so we're not directly
0:15 exposed to a lot of what we're exposed
0:17 to with book cersi and I think that Lena
0:19 he's performance also does a great job
0:21 of kind of allowing her to carry the
0:22 show for points and be a pretty
0:25 compelling kind of Mastermind villain in
0:27 the book cersei's kind of all over the
0:29 place her chapters and A Feast for Crows
0:30 the fourth book in the Series where she
0:32 kind of acts as a main character or the
0:34 main character involve her essentially
0:36 bouncing from one political scheme to
0:39 the next all of which end up completely
0:41 blowing up in her face it's an insane
0:44 comedy of errors that I love thoroughly
0:47 and have for years with that said just
0:50 exactly how bad of a job does Cersei do
0:52 in these chapters How many times does
0:54 Cersei Lannister make incorrect
0:56 assumptions how many times does she put
0:58 forward plans that are very clearly
1:00 going to go terribly how many many times
1:03 is Cersei Lannister wrong in A Feast for
1:05 Crows it's important to go over what
1:08 exactly I'm tracking here it is fairly
1:09 subjective and I'll try to give my
1:11 thought process for each of these errors
1:14 being counted as errors as they go but
1:15 this is pretty much the errors column of
1:18 a baseball game in order to qualify as
1:20 Cersei being wrong about something there
1:22 has to be a more correct answer that
1:24 could be used in place of her assumption
1:27 or assertion her thoughts and actions
1:29 both count and for the sake of brevity
1:31 I'm not going to to repeat errors she
1:32 thinks about people plotting against her
1:34 approximately a billion times Start A
1:36 Feast for Crows but I'm limiting it to
1:39 Unique instances of doing so Tyrion
1:41 being in the walls is only going to
1:43 count once her thing about the Tyrell
1:45 coin is only going to count once
1:47 tactical blunders and objectively
1:49 terrible decisions are also going to be
1:51 counted as being wrong because it's more
1:54 fun that way Cersei one her first outing
1:56 is quite quaint as far as errors goes
1:58 it's a fairly short chapter fun fact
2:00 this was the first chapter of feaster
2:02 crows ever read to the public I think
2:04 back in 2002 it mostly deals with the
2:06 aftermath of Tywin Lannister's death as
2:08 Cersei Lannister jumps from one paranoid
2:10 assumption to another as the pages
2:13 progress her first mistake is a fairly
2:15 innocuous one Cersei is awoken from a
2:16 nightmare by a King's Guard she thinks
2:18 it's Jamie it's actually sir Osman
2:20 kleback and I think that might speak to
2:22 the two's roles kind of reversing in
2:23 this book second she starts thinking
2:26 about Loris which ties in her mind to
2:27 the fact that the Ty rails could have
2:29 been behind tyrion's escape and tywin's death
2:30 death
2:32 they were not as far as we know though
2:34 we don't have a Tyrell Viewpoint in any
2:36 of the books less than a page later she
2:37 thinks that Stannis might have killed
2:39 Tywin by way of a catpa in order to
2:42 launch another attack on the city again
2:43 doesn't seem to be the case though we do
2:46 have Stannis view points here uh fourth
2:48 up I don't really blame her for this
2:50 error but she thinks that Tywin has no
2:53 use for Shay as he was above such vices
2:55 as beset his father and son he
2:57 definitely projected that image but that
3:00 image is kind of facially incorrect she
3:01 thinks that sheay was there to be
3:02 questioned about Sansa and I really like
3:04 that tyrion's voice in her head
3:06 immediately points out that this clashes
3:08 with the reality that Shay is naked
3:10 showing that Tyrion is kind of warging
3:12 Cersei for the entire book it really
3:14 explains all of her incorrect decisions
3:16 here following this Cersei asserts that
3:18 the murders couldn't possibly be Tyrion
3:20 and is immediately proven Wrong by a
3:21 search of his cell she doesn't think he
3:24 escaped he did thus bring in a trend of
3:26 Cersei incorrectly assuming that Tyrion
3:28 is everywhere in the castle and working
3:31 for everyone at all times Cersei 2 her
3:34 first error here is her wishfully
3:35 thinking that more people are going to
3:38 appear to mourn Tywin later hints of the
3:40 truth poke through her thoughts but her
3:42 admiration for her father drowns out the
3:44 reputation that he' made for himself
3:46 with the Common Man second we
3:47 technically don't know whether this one
3:49 is correct or will be correct or not but
3:51 cersi thinks that in a thousand years
3:53 tyin will only be remembered as the
3:55 father of Queen Cersei based on her
3:57 track record in power throughout this
3:59 book I'm putting this assertion as far
4:02 more more unlikely than likely in terms
4:04 of being just somewhat of a falsehood or
4:07 delusion three when surveying the Tyrell
4:08 Court Cersei seems to imply that
4:10 Marjorie is sleeping with her
4:13 handmaidens incorrect as far as we know
4:14 but not that there's anything wrong with
4:17 that fourth up Cersei immediately seizes
4:19 on varys's bait he planted a coin from
4:21 the reach in the black cells of this
4:23 Jailer named rugan who probably was
4:25 Varys trying to convince the queen that
4:27 the tyrells Were Somehow involved in the
4:29 imp's Escape as I mentioned she
4:32 immediately believes this fifth I'd
4:33 completely forgotten about this one but
4:35 I think it's my favorite error so far
4:38 Cersei thinks that Tyrion hired pyel to
4:41 make tyron's corpse smile and stink at
4:44 the funeral sixth up Cersei thinks that
4:46 Giles rosby is going to be a good master
4:48 of coin because he's rich and his horses
4:50 are well-dressed this is proven wrong
4:52 pretty quickly he's ineffectual at best
4:54 and actively bad at worse by way of
4:56 enabling cersei's terrible spending
4:58 habits seventh and finally for this
5:01 chapter after Cersei throws wine in his
5:03 face Kevin suggests that Mattis Rowan
5:05 and random tarley would be good
5:07 potential hands for tommen which makes
5:08 Cersei think that he's working for the
5:11 tys he isn't that ends the errors in
5:13 Cersei 2 but I do want to say something
5:15 I love about the ending of this chapter
5:17 Kevin revealing that he knows about the
5:19 twin test by saying that tommen has his
5:21 father around too and then immediately
5:23 transitioning into Jaime's visual is
5:24 great I think that Martin does a great
5:27 job with his writing generally I like it
5:30 Jamie W surprise search doesn't just
5:32 appear in her own chapters with that
5:34 said not being in her head limits the
5:36 number of conspiracy theories the reader
5:38 is exposed to at any given time we only
5:41 get one in that chapter and that one is
5:43 that Cersei suggests that Tyrion was the
5:45 one who told Kevin about her
5:47 relationship with jimie we're in both
5:49 tyrion's head and Kevin's head at
5:51 various points in the story and there is
5:54 zero evidence to support that point so
5:56 not likely I think he probably just has
5:59 eyes and isn't as delusion delusionary
6:01 illusional as his older brother Taiwan
6:04 Cersei 3 is a rather quaint chapter only
6:07 housing four errors therein first up on
6:09 the eve of tommen's wedding cersi
6:11 asserts that Tyrion is hiding in the
6:13 floor ready to pop up and kill the King
6:15 by some means other than poison because
6:17 he wouldn't King slay the same way twice
6:19 tyan would never use poison again don't
6:21 ask nurse about that particular fact
6:24 second up Cersei decides to burn the
6:26 Tower of the hand partially because she
6:28 thinks that Tyrion Varys and rugan are
6:30 living in the walls spying on her we
6:32 know that Tyrion isn't in the walls we
6:35 can confirm that one Varys and rugan are
6:37 likely in the walls varis and rugan are
6:39 probably the same person but we know
6:41 that they're not living in the walls of
6:43 specifically the H Tower as they are not
6:45 burned to death as of the end of A Dance
6:48 with Dragons three I'm going to count
6:50 trusting tyena that her handmaiden is
6:52 working for margerie based on zero
6:54 evidence as an error as there's no
6:55 indication as to whether this claim is
6:57 correct or not and based on her layer
7:00 betrayal I'm going to say that and's
7:03 Council here is probably false fourth
7:05 and finally continuing the trend of
7:07 paranoia about the tyrells and Kevin
7:08 Cersei sees Garland having a
7:10 conversation with her uncle and
7:11 immediately assumes they're plotting to
7:13 fill her council with roses or something
7:15 of the sort there's no indication that
7:16 this is the case they're probably just
7:19 polite in making party chat hello I'd
7:20 like to interrupt your regularly
7:22 scheduled programming for two quick
7:24 announcements first and foremost I've

7:28 Ice and Fire characters I really like I

7:31 characters and I thought it'd be fun to
7:33 do it here too I've done one for John
7:35 Khan one for Stannis and I am putting
7:37 out one for Cersei in this video too
7:38 it's just a bunch of songs that I think
7:41 really capture her story uh elements of
7:42 her personality things that have
7:44 happened to her I always enjoyed doing
7:46 it for those characters that I've made
7:47 so I figured it'd be fun to do it for
7:50 here as well additionally I did also

8:05 going to treat cersei's dismissal of
8:07 Uncle Kevin as an error here because it
8:09 is such a massive unforced blunder he's
8:12 been so incredibly useful to Tywin for
8:15 so long but Cersei ignores him entirely
8:17 despite Jamie bringing up a number of
8:19 relevant uses for him we also learn of a
8:21 bunch of cersei's council appointments
8:22 for the first time this chapter and I'm
8:25 counting many of those as errors on her
8:27 part which I'll get to in a second with
8:29 that said I'm not counting kyber as an
8:32 error he's uniquely loyal to Cersei and
8:34 specifically useful despite causing a
8:36 billion more errors later down the line
8:38 via the information he gives to his
8:40 Queen which she immediately interprets
8:43 in exactly the wrong way second error is
8:45 Hand of the king pick Orton Merryweather
8:47 Cersei says he's weak and can be
8:49 dominated and while that could be kind
8:51 of correct he also clearly has his own
8:53 game going on as evidenced by him later
8:56 Vanishing in cersei's time of need and
8:57 several of his other actions and his
8:59 wife's other actions throughout the text
9:01 she also pitches pyromancer helain as a
9:03 good potential hand and I'm counting
9:05 that as an error based on knowing him
9:07 and knowing the past precedent of
9:10 pyromancer hands in the Seven Kingdoms
9:12 fourth and finally Orin Waters as master
9:15 of ships enough said he's hot though so
9:17 I mean points to Cersei for that ladies
9:19 and gentlemen it's the big one it's
9:21 Cersei 4 the moment you've all been
9:22 waiting for I'm going to try to do this
9:24 in one take so grab a snack sit down get
9:26 comfortable we're going to be here a
9:28 while first and foremost Tyrion is
9:30 apparently hiding in the SE to bayor
9:32 tolling the Bell which explains season 8
9:35 episode 5 also I am like 40% confident
9:37 she was joking here but it's hard to
9:39 tell so I'm counting it Cersei then
9:41 thinks that she's uprooted Every Rose
9:43 every Tyrell supporter on the small
9:45 Council which is likely false as at
9:47 least two of her counselors are actively
9:49 working for the tyrells at this very
9:51 Point third Cersei thinks that the
9:53 sparrows are outraged with sanis calling
9:55 him a demon worshipper specifically in
9:57 fact they're outraged for a number of
9:58 things some of which involv Santa some
10:00 of which involv her in the alleged
10:02 incest and the killing of Ned Stark on
10:05 the seps of the great sept Bor later on
10:07 more discussion is had about the
10:09 potential High septin the future choice
10:10 that is left to the high people in the
10:13 faith she thinks that it will be septin
10:15 torbert or septin rard both of these end
10:17 up being mistakes we catch up with one
10:18 of these individuals later in the book
10:19 who is scrubbing the floor of the great
10:21 sept another is being starved in a
10:23 dungeon either which is the High Sparrow
10:25 neither of which is the high septin and
10:27 neither of which is doing well Cersei
10:29 then announces that one highp and will
10:32 serve as well as another in addition to
10:34 being generally ironic given the High
10:36 Sparrow and what happens later it
10:38 contradicts her own thinking about the
10:39 perceived evil of the previous High
10:41 septon Who was appointed by Tyrion who's
10:43 apparently bad enough that Cersei had to
10:45 get one of the kettle blacks to murder
10:46 him which again bites her in the ass
10:48 later she also kicks the can down the
10:51 road regarding the sparrows calling them
10:54 the Faith's problem not hers eth Cersei
10:55 decides to build a new Fleet for the
10:57 crown rather than seeking allies in the
11:00 red wines or the Grey Joys it's an okay
11:01 decision on its own but given the
11:03 current political and economic
11:06 environment it is a massive error nine
11:08 Cersei defaults on the Crown's debt to
11:11 the faith until the wars end 10 Cersei
11:13 defaults on the Crown's debt to the iron
11:15 bank until the war's end these two
11:17 decisions are I would say the biggest
11:18 mistakes that any Viewpoint character
11:21 makes in the entire series 11 she
11:23 decides to Forstall any punishment for
11:26 the Red Wedding until after Walder Fry's
11:28 death which further strengthens the
11:29 accurate public perception that the
11:31 Lannisters were directly involved in
11:34 this act that is now so riled by the
11:37 realm 12 Cersei forgets about Sansa and
11:39 then goes on a half page long rant about
11:40 how much she wants to torture this
11:43 12-year-old girl I wouldn't normally
11:45 count that forgetfulness as an error but
11:47 her losing her tact does reveal a bit
11:49 more of her nature to the constituents
11:50 and does create an awkward silence also
11:53 it's funny so I'm counting it 13 Cersei
11:55 lets arrain Waters crew his ships with
11:57 criminals who would otherwise be bound
11:58 to the Night's Watch for reasons it'll
12:02 become a apparent bad idea 14 Cersei
12:05 dismisses AR's rumors of dragons which
12:06 is understandable at this point in the
12:08 story but it does show a lack of
12:10 interest at looking at the big picture
12:13 15th oh my God Final Answer final error
12:16 of the chapter is trusting ay kettle
12:18 black five times over he's just some
12:20 dude and Cersei thinks that if she
12:22 seduces him he's going to kill the pope
12:23 seduce marjerie get sent to the wall by
12:26 tommen take the black and kill Jon Snow
12:27 I don't think the most reliable
12:29 character in all of West Rose would be
12:31 able to do all of that successfully let
12:33 alone this random knight from the veil
12:35 who happens to be in little finger's
12:38 pocket oh my God Cersei Cersei 5 is also
12:41 a big one but comparably quaint Cersei
12:43 ignores pel's warnings against terrain's
12:45 plan to manage ships with disloyal
12:47 criminals rather than Veterans of the
12:48 battle of the Blackwater which does
12:50 prove to be an error as they abandon her
12:53 later two as a part of that conversation
12:55 she states that no mother should outlive
12:57 her children she has already outlived
12:59 Joffrey and will likely outlive the
13:01 others as well if Maggie the Frog's
13:04 prophecy is accurate third Cersei Falls
13:06 for Wyman's false execution of Davos and
13:09 releases the manderly hostages I can't
13:10 really blame her for this one it fooled
13:12 me when I read Feast for the first time
13:14 but it is still an error Cersei then
13:16 dismisses the envoy from the iron bank
13:18 directly leading to this economically
13:20 powerful organization throwing in behind
13:22 the one true king Stannis barathan in A
13:25 Dance with Dragons I'm counting this in
13:26 addition to the original error because
13:28 it's a chance for her to realize how
13:30 stupid that initial move was uh but she
13:32 really doesn't take that additional
13:35 chance five Cersei thinks that jalar Joe
13:37 is begging margerie for money when he's
13:39 actually teaching her and her cousins
13:41 languages six Cersei talks about
13:43 tommen's father being great attorney
13:45 jousting almost accidentally outing the
13:47 twin test in one of the funniest
13:48 exchanges in the entire book or entire
13:51 book series she redirects in a totally
13:53 natural and cool way though saying that
13:55 Robert won the tney of the Trident and
13:57 shame on margerie for not realizing that
14:00 owned uh seven Cersei seems to forget
14:01 that the red keeps mastered arms Aaron
14:04 santagar died in the riot of King's
14:05 Landing when suggesting that Loris is
14:07 overreaching his current King's Guard
14:09 duties eight she dismisses another
14:12 report of dragons this time from kibor
14:14 and originating in Marine stting that
14:17 harpies reside in that City not dragons
14:19 nine I'm going to count the report on
14:21 Dorne as something that Cersei
14:24 interprets incorrectly kyber essentially
14:25 hands her all of the elements of the
14:27 aftermath of the queen maker plot but
14:29 she gets bored and dismissed it rather
14:30 than attempting to piece this
14:33 interesting full story together 10
14:35 Cersei thinks that the washer women are
14:37 shrinking her gowns and rather than
14:39 considering the possibility that they
14:43 might not fit her any longer 11 Cersei
14:44 asserts that Giles rosby's been dying
14:46 for years so he'll be with them for
14:48 years to come apparently tempting The
14:50 Stranger if I've ever heard it as he
14:52 dies a few chapters later she then tries
14:54 to arrange a fatal accident for Brawn
14:57 out of fear that he's tyrion's catspaw
14:59 but openly admits that two people she's
15:00 having arranged this myap in the first
15:04 place are drunk fools past their Prime
15:06 Jamie 3 is here and I finally have a
15:08 real break cersei's confined to only the
15:10 first few pages of this chapter as the
15:12 king Slayer leaves King's Landing and
15:14 because of this she's only limited to
15:16 one error and that is trying to name
15:18 Osman Kettle as commander of the King's
15:20 Guard in Jaime's absence that would have
15:22 been a pretty bad move as we find out
15:24 later the uh Kettle blacks are really
15:27 not that reliable Cersei six Cersei
15:29 suspects that the blue Bard and margerie
15:31 are romantically entangled there's no
15:33 evidence that this is the case as is
15:35 later revealed when she has this Bard
15:38 tortured two she then assumes that
15:41 Grandmaster pel's visit to marjerie mean
15:42 that he's betrayed House Lannister for
15:44 the tyrells he is pretty clearly A
15:46 Lannister man through and through three
15:48 sir arried kettleblack is named by
15:50 Cersei to be captain of the gold cloaks
15:52 as she continues to put all of her eggs
15:54 in The Fairly unproven kettle black
15:57 basket fourth Cersei says the hounds
15:59 atrocities at Salt plans were ordered by
16:01 baric dond Darion which is almost
16:04 impressively wrong it wasn't the Hound
16:06 it was rather rarge in his Helm and also
16:08 baric is dead and has been for some time
16:09 also the Hound is not working for the
16:11 Brotherhood also Roar is not working for
16:14 the Brotherhood fifth we've arrived at
16:16 the big one C's arguably most egregious
16:19 error repealing the laws of King magor
16:22 and allowing the faith to rearm itself
16:24 this single move marks both her own
16:26 direct downfall and likely the downfall
16:28 of tommen and the Lannister regime on
16:31 the whole magor fought a bloody war
16:32 against the faith and only through the
16:35 negotiations of his nephew Jaris were
16:37 these peace laws eventually achieved
16:39 Cersei undo them for the sake of
16:41 convenience and to build some boats
16:43 masterful Gambit Your Grace Cersei
16:44 thinks that Taiwan couldn't have done
16:46 better than she did while negotiating
16:48 with the faith Tywin made some really
16:50 dumb and short-sighted moves but he
16:51 would have recognized cersei's mistake
16:54 here a hundred times over seven when
16:55 explaining the history of the poor
16:56 fellows and the warrior Sons to Lady
16:58 Merryweather Cersei believes they'll be
17:00 using against Stannis first and foremost
17:02 despite the fact that he is very far
17:04 away from any of these sparrows eight
17:06 and finally she doubles down in the
17:07 previous thought that the tyrells at a
17:09 hand in tyrion's Escape thinking that he
17:11 and Sansa are chilling at high Garden at
17:13 this very moment which I mean probably
17:15 true she's probably right on that one
17:18 Cersei 7 this chapter begins with an
17:20 impromptu small council meeting as
17:23 marjerie brings nudes of euron Greyjoy
17:25 raids on the reach for which Cersei
17:27 Lannister immediately blames Willis
17:30 tyrell's injured foot one paragraph
17:32 later Cersei makes my favorite error in
17:35 the entire book she asserts that euron
17:37 is working for Stannis as a distraction
17:39 and to gain a foothold in the reach I
17:40 don't know why I'm talking about this
17:43 one it's so clearly the objective truth
17:45 third she assumes that the ironborn will
17:47 be content with the shield Isles which
17:49 uh she does call rocks and Margery gets
17:51 very offended at that and euron proves
17:53 this assertion wrong in literally the
17:55 very next chapter fourth she also
17:57 doubles down on believing that the
17:59 Northman hates Stannis and will never
18:01 support him citing Wyman mander's
18:03 feigned execution of Sir Davos it seems
18:05 like that play worked even better than
18:07 Lord too fat to sit a horse it expected
18:09 and I am very happy about that five
18:11 Cersei then sends Loris off to retake
18:13 Dragon Stone in the hopes that he'll be
18:15 killed it's actually one of her better
18:17 plans and effectively acts as a win-win
18:19 for her but with that said he doesn't
18:21 die he's either heavily wounded or fine
18:24 depending on which theories you believe
18:26 six he's she's also willing to dismiss
18:28 every single concern that pisel has
18:29 during this chapter and frankly during
18:32 all of her chapters and feast and those
18:33 are often redundant with other mistakes
18:35 she makes so I'll count them here as one
18:38 massive error in addition seventh and
18:40 finally for this chapter Cersei hears
18:42 noises in her walls and assumes that
18:44 they're mice kyber says that the walls
18:46 have ears despite her assuming this and
18:48 we later later learn that Varys is
18:50 likely living in the walls of the r to
18:53 keep making this probably false Cersei 8
18:55 this one begins with a Reign's report of
18:57 dragon Stone's fall I'm going to count
18:59 fully believing him and very ifying none
19:01 of the relevant information with sources
19:03 Who would know things as an error as
19:04 many fans have pointed out that there
19:06 are more than a few inconsistencies in
19:09 Lord wat's story and that sir Loris
19:11 Tyrell May in fact be alive and unhe
19:14 hurt two after alienating Margery via
19:16 gleefully bringing her news of the
19:18 assault Cersei thinks that Tywin would
19:21 now deem her a worthy Heir again no way
19:23 to verify this but I'm of the opinion
19:24 that his stinky corpse is currently
19:27 doing barrel rolls under cly Rock based
19:29 on everything Cersei is doing sidebar
19:31 here it's unrelated but after this a
19:34 tyroshi man Cersei says a reminds her of
19:36 Varys presents a dwarf head saying that
19:38 it could be her Valen car I honestly
19:40 think that there's a non-zero chance
19:42 that that is Varys fueling the Queen's
19:44 paranoia and obfuscating tyrion's
19:46 whereabouts by giving clearly false
19:48 information third Cersei thinks that
19:51 Giles rosby finally dying of his cough
19:52 must be someone trying to murder him
19:54 probably the tyrell's trying to install
19:58 G the growth as new master of coin for
20:00 Cersei thinks that no harm will come to
20:03 tommen while she lives despite having
20:05 made him whip a boy until he bled the
20:07 previous evening despite what mother of
20:09 the year over here says I'm going to
20:11 count mental harm as harm to tommen
20:14 regardless fifth Cersei hat the plan to
20:16 have sir osney kettleblack falsely
20:19 confess to betting margorie Tyrell in
20:20 the hopes of the faith will arrest the
20:22 young queen and the prophecy of Maggie
20:24 the Frog will be
20:27 forestalled Cersei nine this chapter
20:29 opens with Cersei yelling at Grand
20:32 maester pisel about Giles rosby's demise
20:33 the mistake I'm counting here is her
20:35 crediting his incompetence with the
20:37 deaths of several unrelated figures most
20:40 notably Robert John Aaron and Tywin
20:42 pisel really couldn't have done anything
20:44 about any of those except maybe Robert
20:45 but even that's unlikely and Cersei
20:48 tried to kill Robert herself two Cersei
20:50 then asserts that margorie commanded
20:53 pisel to kill Giles rosby which sounds
20:54 like a clue answer third she then
20:56 asserts that Lord rosby wanted to leave
20:59 all of his gold in land Satan something
21:00 I don't think she ever really gets to

21:32 just spouts a bunch of obvious lies
21:34 cersi clearly doesn't believe them and
21:35 she doesn't realize that anyone with a
21:36 brain would probably see that they were
21:40 induced by duress seven Cersei thinks
21:42 that all she does she does for tommen
21:43 which she likely learned from the Walter
21:45 White Logan Roy Tony Soprano School of
21:47 delusion eighth and finally for this
21:50 chapter telling osne to blatantly lie to
21:52 the High Sparrow and thinking there's
21:53 zero chance that him sleeping with
21:55 Cersei but not with marjerie might
21:57 potentially come to light is one of the
21:59 bigger blunders that Cersei in A Feast
22:02 for Crows we finally arrived at cersei's
22:05 glorious 10th and Final Chapter cersei's
22:07 plan to frame Margery actually goes way
22:09 better than I'd expected on initial read
22:11 at least in its initial goal however she
22:13 does think that Margery is done which
22:14 does not seem to be the case in the
22:17 Winds of Winter we hear that mace is
22:19 actively moving on Storm's end in Aron's
22:21 second sample chapter something he said
22:23 he wouldn't do until his daughter's
22:26 innocence was proven and she won her
22:28 trial two she then thinks that
22:30 successfully framing Margery means that
22:32 Maggie the Frog was a fool who knew
22:34 nothing which I think we all know is
22:37 likely wrong three Cersei then grants AR
22:39 rainwaters permission to launch his new
22:41 Drummond for ostensibly no reason giving
22:43 him the freedom of movement to abandon
22:46 her in about a day's time four Cersei
22:48 decides to go speak to the High Sparrow
22:51 and marger herself which goes well five
22:53 Cersei agrees to let the faith oversee
22:55 margery's trial unknowingly giving them
22:57 back another power that had been
22:59 Stripped by Jaris that being the power
23:02 to preside over trials following all of
23:03 this Seri thinks that her plan has
23:05 worked perfectly and that she'll be
23:07 allowed to take sir osne and return to
23:09 the right of keep happily ever after
23:11 seven when confronted with osney she
23:13 attempts to flee the sep of bayor
23:15 despite the fact that it is overrun with
23:18 sparrows septons and Silent sisters I
23:19 think that attempting to play like this
23:21 likely made her position a fair bit
23:23 worse not that it was particularly good
23:25 to begin with eighth she then thinks her
23:27 Lannister guardman and Sir Boris Blan
23:29 are going to be able to rescue her
23:31 despite her entire plan for margery's
23:34 Trial by Combat hinging on Blunt's
23:36 incompetence nine when kyn comes to
23:38 visitor Cersei begins a sad series of
23:40 assumptions I'm only going to count as
23:42 one mistake continually she thinks that
23:44 her supposed allies are going to be the
23:46 ones to save her tyena and Lord
23:48 Merryweather have fled a rainwaters has
23:50 bailed and become a pirate and everyone
23:51 except kyber has pretty much left her
23:54 out to dry uh the Lioness is well and
23:56 truly alone save for her Unchained
23:59 maester 10th and finally fitting for
24:01 cersei's 10 10th chapter her final
24:03 mistake in Fe for Crows is thinking that
24:05 her brother who she continually mocked
24:07 discarded and dismissed Will Champion
24:09 her in a trial by combat against the
24:12 faith that he has no way of winning
24:14 cersei's total number of errors in A
24:17 Feast for Crows is drum roll
24:19 please ow I don't know if you could hear
24:22 that 87 she made 87 errors in this one
24:25 fairly short for Song of Ice and Fire
24:27 book her most uh copious chapter was
24:29 Cersei four as I'm sure you could guess
24:32 her least copious chapter was Jamie 3
24:33 seeing as she was only on about three
24:35 pages in that chapter overall I don't
24:37 know if this is more or less than I
24:40 expected 87 is a lot of goddamn errors
24:42 for only having 10 chapters I am excited
24:43 to see where she goes in the Winds of
24:46 Winter as she is despite being
24:47 delusional and very bad at
24:49 decision-making one of my favorite
24:51 Viewpoint characters Cersei Lannister is
24:55 a fantastic character who greatly lifts
24:56 up the experience of reading a p of
24:58 crows and her chapters are always my fav
25:01 favores on Rats the main thing I want
25:03 you personally to take away from this
25:05 video is that Cersei Lannister is in A
25:08 Song of Ice and Fire theorist she is
25:10 just like the rest of us she makes
25:12 outlandish assumptions based on what
25:15 little information she has and she is
25:17 very often wrong about many of the
25:19 things she theorizes about I think that
25:21 she is an icon and I've heard people say
25:23 oh marwin the Mage is the person that
25:25 Martin intends to be a stand in these
25:28 crazy conspiracy theorist fans no I
25:30 think he's meant someone else someone
25:32 much more relatable to be our standin
25:34 and I think that is Cersei Lannister
25:36 because who Among Us has not made an
25:39 outlandish wild conspiracy theory that
25:42 ended up being completely wrong in every
25:44 single regard I love Cersei and I look
25:46 forward to having more chapters from her
