0:02 The new Nano Banana Pro is now in
0:04 Photoshop, and the jumping quality is
0:06 huge. This new version creates sharper
0:09 images at 2K. It keeps text clean and
0:11 readable, and it blends complex scenes
0:12 with way more precision. You can use
0:14 this new model in Photoshop. Right now,
0:17 it works just like Gemini 2.5, but the
0:19 results look much better. Instead of
0:21 repeating last month's tutorial, but
0:23 with a new model, I want to show you a
0:25 different workflow. This time, we'll use
0:28 Nano Banana Pro inside of Adobe Firefly.
0:29 If you still want the Photoshop
0:31 breakdown, just follow last month's
0:33 tutorial, but use the new model. The
0:35 link to that video is down below. My
0:37 name is Jesus Ramirez. Let me show you
0:39 how it works. First, go to firefly.adobe.com.
0:41 firefly.adobe.com.
0:43 From this dropown, make sure image is
0:46 selected. Then go into the models
0:48 dropown, which includes all of Adobe's
0:50 partner models, including models not
0:52 inside of Photoshop, like Gemini 3 Nano
0:55 Banana Pro. But instead of doing this, I
0:57 recommend clicking on the more button
0:59 that brings you into this generative
1:00 workspace and it makes things a lot
1:03 easier to see. Here's a tip. You can
1:04 click on this link to learn more about
1:06 how prompting works in Firefly. To
1:09 start, select the model that is the new
1:12 Gemini 3 with Nano Banana Pro. Then you
1:14 can select an aspect ratio. Any aspect
1:17 ratio will do. And you can upload up to
1:19 six reference images. Let me show you
1:20 how that works. I'm going to click on
1:23 this icon to upload my first image. and
1:25 I will select your device. You can also
1:27 use images found in your Adobe cloud
1:29 storage which include other previously
1:31 generated images and your Creative Cloud
1:35 libraries. I'll go into your device and
1:38 I'll upload this portrait of myself.
1:41 Then I'll click on this icon once again
1:43 to upload my second reference image.
1:45 Once again I'll do it from my device and
1:48 I will upload this photo of me as a
1:52 baby. Then I'll add the prompt.
1:56 have the man hold the baby. Then I'll
1:58 click on generate. And in a few moments,
2:01 we'll get an image of me holding myself
2:03 as a baby. And there you go. The image
2:05 looks fantastic. I'm wearing the same
2:08 outfit on both images, my black sweater,
2:10 and this little blue overall I was
2:12 wearing when I was several months old.
2:13 To download the image, you can click on
2:15 this download button. And this is not
2:18 all. Firefly has a fantastic feature I'm
2:20 sure you're going to love. Let me show
2:22 you how it works. Go back to the
2:24 homepage at firefly.adobe.com
2:26 or you can click on this icon and from
2:29 here click on ID8. This will bring you
2:31 to the Firefly boards. From here, click
2:35 on create board. Then bring images from
2:37 your device by clicking on upload. And
2:38 from here, select the images you want to
2:40 upload. You can do more than one at a
2:42 time. I'm just going to do one for now
2:43 so I can show you how to come back to
2:46 this screen. If you want to add a second
2:47 image once you're in the board, you can
2:50 click on this icon to add content.
2:54 Select your device and this time I will
2:56 bring in this jacket and I will make
2:58 this a much much smaller image. These
3:01 images are way too large. Of course, I
3:03 could also zoom out if I wanted to, but
3:05 I think in this case I'm simply going to
3:07 scale these images down by dragging on
3:09 the corner handles just so that we can
3:11 see them on screen. And what I'm going
3:14 to do is take advantage of one of the
3:16 great new features in Firefly Boards,
3:18 which are the presets. When you click on
3:21 this presets button, you will see
3:23 several generative AI workflows. All you
3:25 need to do is select the one that you
3:27 want to use. For example, we're going to
3:30 try the virtual tryon. When you click on
3:32 that, you will see that we are going to
3:34 use Gemini 2.5, not the new one. I'm
3:36 going to show you how to change that in
3:38 a moment to generate a virtual tryon.
3:41 So, first click on subject, then hover
3:43 over the image that you want to apply
3:45 the clothing to. Notice that I have an
3:48 eyropper. When I click on that photo of
3:50 myself, it loads it into the subject
3:53 box. Then you can click on clothing and
3:55 click on the clothing. And you don't
3:57 have to do anything else. No prompt
4:01 needed. Simply click on generate. But I
4:03 want to take advantage of the new Gemini
4:06 3 with Nano Banana Pro. To do that, all
4:08 I need to do is click on this icon that
4:11 reads view prompt. And from here, you
4:13 can click on this dropown and choose the
4:16 new Gemini 3 with Nano Banana Pro.
4:18 Also make sure that the aspect ratio
4:20 matches your image. In this case, I need
4:23 to select portrait. Then you can click
4:24 generate. In a few moments, we'll
4:26 generate an image where I'm wearing the
4:28 brown leather jacket. You can click on
4:30 the X to collapse the prompt and other
4:31 settings. Everything is still generating
4:33 in the background. And to come back to
4:35 it, you can click on the virtual try
4:37 preset. And there it is. My generation
4:40 is complete. Now, what I'll do is just
4:42 pan over to the right so that I can get
4:45 some space. And I can drag that new
4:47 generation onto the board. And there I
4:50 am. And let's compare the jacket that
4:52 I'm wearing versus a jacket we use as a
4:53 reference. It's pretty similar. It looks
4:56 fantastic. And to save this image to the
4:58 device, enable the generated image and
5:01 click on the download button. Another
5:02 important thing I should mention is that
5:04 the output at the moment is 2K. If you
5:06 upload an image that is a lower
5:09 resolution, then Gemini 3 will upscale
5:11 it automatically. It's like a free
5:13 generative upscale. Now, I'll quickly go
5:14 through a few presets and what my
5:16 results were using the same portrait.
5:18 This is the electric party preset, and
5:21 somehow Google Nano Banana 3 knew
5:22 exactly the outfit that I wore last year
5:24 at my Christmas party. Then we have the
5:26 Cartoon effect, which does a fantastic [music]
5:27 [music]
5:29 job. I really like this image. Then we
5:31 have character and product, where I
5:34 uploaded this shoe and Gemini generated
5:36 that image of me jumping wearing those sneakers.
5:37 sneakers.
5:40 This is the Y2K preset. The image is not
5:41 bad, but I'm not so sure about the
5:43 clothes that I'm wearing. And this is
5:45 the cinema preset. I really like it. It
5:46 feels like I'm a New York mobster. What
5:48 do you think? And of course, there's
5:50 plenty more presets that I recommend you
5:51 try out and see if you can use them in
5:53 your projects. Also, make sure that you
5:55 look at how the prompts are written. It
5:57 may help you spark some ideas for other
5:59 types of images. And by the way, you may
6:01 have noticed that I haven't been posting
6:03 much lately on this YouTube channel, and
6:06 I do apologize for that, but my very
6:08 first child was just born, and as you
6:09 can imagine, she's keeping you real
6:12 busy. But don't worry, I'll continue to
6:14 post on a weekly basis again very soon.
6:16 And if you haven't already, check out my
6:18 Photoshop AI mastery course and my
