0:20 had a lot of requests to test out a lot
0:21 of people are speaking very highly of

0:26 it's amerilabs amd 3
0:30 led supposedly made specifically for
0:32 uh the type of printers that we're all
0:33 using at home so it's not it doesn't
0:35 working with the sla printers from what
0:37 i understand it's specifically made
0:40 for these um lcd printers
0:43 whether that's marketing hype truth i
0:44 you know i don't evaluate i'm not a
0:46 chemist or an engineer
0:48 all i care about you guys know how good
0:50 a print does it get me
0:53 that's what i care about and get you so
0:54 like i said i heard a lot of good things
0:56 a lot of people have been asking me to
0:57 test this
0:59 and finally it was time so you're going
1:00 to see the photos i'll i'll float some
1:02 in my head
1:04 as you can see but at the end of the
1:06 video i'm going to zoom in super high
1:08 res you judge for yourself you know the
1:09 quality of the material
1:11 but i'm going to weigh in on it because
1:14 it's made for lcds
1:18 it is a pretty fast curing resin
1:21 now normally fast curing resins aren't
1:23 quite as accurate as slow curing resins because
1:24 because
1:26 any light bleed will cure extra resin and
1:27 and
1:31 and reduce your uh your accuracy
1:32 but what i found with this even though
1:35 it's a fast curing resin
1:38 this is this is an impressive resin this resin
1:39 resin
1:43 held great detail so honestly
1:45 i'm not sure i mean i'm going to do my
1:46 break tests you guys
1:48 view for yourself like what you think of
1:50 durability and stuff if someone like me
1:52 i just want the best prints i can get
1:54 and i don't even care if the resin's a
1:55 little fragile because i'm very careful
1:56 with my minis
1:59 so i know for some of you uh how brittle
2:00 this turns out to be is going to be a
2:02 big deciding factor
2:03 but for people who are just kind of like
2:06 me or just like perfectionists
2:09 this resin to me i this is giving me as
2:11 good a result as i've gotten with anything
2:12 anything
2:17 possibly possibly even my best results
2:19 i i'm gonna have to do more testing to
2:21 determine that and really compare a lot
2:22 of stuff head to head but
2:23 you know i'm just doing a normal resin
2:25 review for this right now maybe i'll do
2:27 if i find that is the best resin i've
2:29 ever used like if i can really determine
2:31 that i'll i'll make a further video but
2:32 for now
2:34 you'll see the pictures at the very least
2:35 least
2:38 it's extremely accurate it prints really
2:40 really nice picked up
2:41 the details on the figure that i always
2:43 test you guys know i use the same figure
2:46 it did a great job i'm really happy
2:47 about it
2:49 now let's go on to the first part of the
2:51 break test well this part's gonna be a
2:52 little funny because the spear that i
2:55 normally break for you in my break test
2:57 i was holding in my hand and i turned
2:58 around to do something
3:00 and i jammed it into my chair and i
3:02 broke it so we're gonna do the brake
3:03 test with half the spear
3:06 it's a little unfortunate but it is what
3:07 it is
3:11 so let's see brittle
3:14 pretty brittle i mean this had been
3:15 jammed into my chair so maybe that
3:16 affected thing
3:20 let's go to the throat test
3:23 um but that break test was pretty easy you know
3:23 you know
3:25 why am i break well so just break one of
3:27 the hammers because i'm not going to
3:29 glue them on anyway anymore
3:30 because when i glue hammers on to her
3:32 and then we do the throw test that i do now
3:34 now
3:36 drop test but i do it by throwing her up
3:38 the hammers break off anyway so i might
3:40 as well just break them
3:42 okay so again it requires a decent
3:44 amount of force on that thin
3:47 part but it's not flexible
3:49 okay i don't want anyone to think that
3:50 i'm telling you there's a flexible res
3:52 it didn't flex almost at all before it
3:54 broke now
3:56 as i've come to learn that's not
3:58 necessarily a sharp indicator of how
4:00 strong the resin is though
4:03 because some of them uh bend
4:05 uh but still break when you drop them
4:07 even though they're a little bendier
4:09 and others don't really bend and they
4:10 will break
4:12 under the right circumstance if you drop
4:14 them but they survive drops pretty
4:16 well anyway just because they're
4:17 stronger so
4:18 i don't know what what this one is yet
4:20 so we're gonna see all i know is before
4:22 i even throw it i'm gonna look at her
4:23 one last time because she
4:25 she really came out great i'm i really
4:28 really like the way this resin comes out
4:30 plus they're gray it's a very pleasing
4:31 color on the table
4:32 i don't know if you can see it that
4:33 clearly at this distance but you're
4:35 gonna see the high-res photos
4:37 but it it like gives shadows and
4:39 highlights really nicely just in natural light
4:39 light
4:41 so if you're again if you're like me and
4:42 you have a billion unpainted figures you
4:44 want ones that when you put them down
4:47 they look good she looks pretty good i mean
4:47 mean
4:50 i'm very happy with this resin
4:52 um i'm gonna link the price homework i
4:54 think this is a more expensive resino also
4:54 also
4:57 uh so you know it should print well but
4:58 i knew let's
5:00 let's let's go to the throw slash drop
5:02 test and see how she does
5:05 um based on the brake test i'm actually
5:06 expecting her to break a little bit
5:07 let's see what happens first let's just
5:09 do like a three
5:17 okay no damage at all
5:22 okay i see a little tip it looks like
5:23 her hair
5:25 broke off on that and that was
5:27 equivalent to
5:30 about a four foot drop maybe a little
5:33 more four and a half foot drop
5:39 something came off
5:42 uh the very top most thin part of the hair
5:44 hair
5:46 came off okay that that's a tiny little
5:48 piece that's exposed
5:51 so that's not that surprising four foot
5:53 to drop onto a tiny little piece
5:54 i think most resins would break from
5:56 that let's let's break the rest of the hair
5:57 hair
5:59 let's see what it takes first because i
6:00 feel like there's a little brittle let
6:06 me just try a smaller one see
6:08 nope still good let me do it a little harder

6:15 that broke off the next piece so this a
6:17 significant kind of throw
6:20 is gonna breaker now let's see just like
6:21 strength strength let me just
6:24 squish the legs till they break okay
6:27 doesn't okay not that much force i mean
6:28 it was force obviously it's
6:29 not like you're going to handle it's
6:31 going to break but it's not as
6:33 is not as hard to break as some of the
6:35 other resins i've been testing lately
6:38 have been like the sorest sculpt was
6:40 hard to break the epacts hard was hard
6:40 to break
6:44 but let me uh see yeah not that much
6:48 okay so this resin
6:52 amerilabs amd 3 led
6:54 might be the best printing resin that
6:56 i've tested in terms of detail
7:00 it might even be it
7:01 i think it holds the detail as well as
7:03 the epacks hard to be honest even though
7:05 it's a fast resin so i'm pretty amazed
7:08 by what they achieved in terms of a fast
7:08 resin that
7:12 also holds detail amazing um
7:14 however you see if you're going to use
7:15 this resin
7:18 and i would easily recommend this resin
7:19 to anyone
7:22 who wants good really like crispy prints
7:25 and is not worried about breaking them
7:26 if your
7:28 prints are getting handled by small kids
7:30 or you're very clumsy you can knock them
7:31 off the table
7:33 whatever whatever like again this resin
7:35 is not it's not brittle like you know
7:38 you knock it over on your table it's not
7:39 going to break obviously just from a
7:40 regular you know
7:42 oh i haven't tested any resin it would
7:44 break from just like normal
7:46 like even you you do this too it's not
7:47 gonna break
7:49 right you do this it's not gonna break
7:51 even that fall a couple feet down
7:53 not gonna break it so [Applause]

8:00 really really worried about durability
8:02 i'd have to say this this

8:11 going to climb high up on my list i

8:20 why do i keep talking about how nice it
8:21 printed it's just
8:23 it's like crispy looking i mean talk
8:25 about crisp this is this resin came out crisp

8:29 i like it so uh definitely check this

8:32 i'm not sure again where this is
8:34 available and everything and i do think
8:35 it's one
8:36 i do think it's a pricier resin i'll
8:38 i'll look it up after i finish filming
8:38 this and
8:40 float in a box over the price that you
8:42 can get this for so you can see
8:46 but if you want very high detail i do think
8:47 think
8:50 this resin will give it to you um
8:52 yeah so i guess that's about it it's a
8:54 little brittle but
8:57 but again just even looking at my hand i
8:58 don't have to look at the high-res
8:59 photos yet

9:02 really looking nice so

12:17 ignore that look at the clarity what i'm

12:20 look at the eyes the eyelids the eyebrows
12:22 eyebrows
12:25 and the mouth all came out really really sharp

12:28 really clear the armband on her left
12:30 bicep you can
12:32 uh pretty clearly make out the
12:33 incredibly thin
12:35 tiny pattern there which is great to be
12:37 able to pick that up
12:39 even on the on the very bottom handle
12:41 the hammer you can see the little design
12:42 in there that's
12:43 and that's really hard to see usually on
12:45 most of my prints i mean remember this
12:47 is a tiny figure this is a dwarf
12:50 female she's like 28 millimeters tall
12:52 only so look at this great detail
12:53 the other thing that came out really
12:55 crispy really really clear and well delineated
12:56 delineated
12:59 is her fingers the lines between her
13:01 fingers the space between her fingers as
13:03 she's gripping those hammers
13:05 extremely clear on this print so there's
13:07 it doesn't look like any bleed any swelling
13:08 swelling
13:10 it looks really good so anyway that's it
