0:02 We just got some crazy official news
0:03 about the Avengers Doomsday trailer,
0:05 plus some major leaks about the story of
0:07 the movie. Let's talk about it all. And
0:08 we got to start off with the fact that
0:09 yes, the first trailer for Avengers
0:11 Doomsday has been officially listed on
0:13 Korea's media rating board, which if you
0:14 don't know what this means, pretty much
0:16 whenever a movie or a trailer comes out,
0:18 people have to watch it, give it a
0:19 rating, like it's appropriate for
0:22 audiences watching PG movies, PG-13 or
0:24 R. And when Korea officially rates their
0:25 movies, they publicly post it on this
0:27 rating board website. And shout out to
0:28 one of my viewers actually Sungman Lee
0:30 who is from Korea. He emailed me about
0:31 this first. Now there's a few
0:33 interesting things on this rating board
0:34 website though because first of all,
0:35 yes, you can see that the running time
0:38 is 1 minute and 25 seconds. So, as we
0:40 all thought, this is going to be more of
0:42 a teaser than a full-on trailer because
0:43 yes, the movie is still a full year
0:45 away. And honestly, I kind of prefer
0:47 shorter trailers anyways. Like, show me
0:49 the first look at Doom. Give me a little
0:50 bit of a vibe of what the movie is going
0:51 to be like. I don't need to see anything
0:53 else. I don't need to see any preview of
0:54 like the fight scenes or any of that. I
0:56 want to go in as blind as possible. Now,
0:58 what else is interesting on this listing
0:59 is that under the cast here, you can see
1:01 that it lists Robert Downey Jr.
1:02 Obviously, we knew he was going to be in
1:04 it. The leaks a couple weeks ago said
1:05 that we were going to get our first look
1:08 at Doom, the mask, the costume, all that
1:10 stuff. But it also says that Pedro
1:12 Pascal is listed as the cast. Now, it
1:13 doesn't say anybody else here. Now, if
1:15 this is just a teaser, it is likely that
1:16 it's probably going to focus mostly on
1:18 Doom himself. But it definitely seems
1:20 like the highlight is going to be Doom
1:21 versus Reed, which is great that
1:23 presumably in the very first trailer for
1:25 this movie, the two main focuses are
1:26 going to be Doom and Reed because
1:29 obviously Dr. Doom is a Fantastic 4
1:31 villain first and foremost. I know a lot
1:32 of people were kind of worried about him
1:33 being in an Avengers movie. They're
1:34 like, "Hey, are they going to maybe shy
1:36 away from him and Reed's dynamic and
1:38 just focus on him being a more general
1:39 villain?" But it definitely seems like
1:41 their conflict is going to be a huge
1:43 focus in this story or at least the
1:44 first trailer. I've mentioned this part
1:46 before, but just to recap, it seems like
1:47 the two most likely days that this
1:49 trailer could release are on Thursday of
1:51 this week because insider Daniel RPK
1:53 says there's going to be a Disney
1:54 trailer on that date. We just don't know
1:56 if it's Doomsday or not. But if you go
1:58 look at the history of when Marvel
1:59 movies got their ratings from the Korea
2:02 rating board, it normally is about 2
2:03 days ahead of when the trailer releases
2:05 to the public. So, Thursday would
2:06 definitely line up with that. And if
2:08 it's not on Thursday, I think it's very
2:09 likely that it will be out on Tuesday or
2:11 Wednesday of next week because we know
2:13 it's going to be attached to Avatar Fire
2:14 and Ash that comes out next Friday. I
2:15 think they're going to want to get it
2:17 online so people can talk about it and
2:18 not have like cam rips of it from
2:20 theaters. Now, let's transition into
2:21 some new leaks about the story of the
2:23 movie as always. Take these with a grain
2:24 of salt, but the Cosmic Circus is pretty
2:26 reliable in the past and their things
2:27 seem to be pretty spot-on. And in this
2:29 first one, they say that most of the
2:31 cameos in the upcoming Avengers films
2:33 will actually play a major part in the
2:34 story and that they will show the
2:36 effects of the incursions that are
2:38 happening in the MCU in their own
2:40 universes. So like the Fox characters
2:42 for example, we're going to see their
2:44 universe literally like being torn apart
2:45 or maybe like different things happening
2:47 in there that aren't supposed to be
2:48 happening. The same thing is probably
2:50 true for like Tobey Magcguire Spider-Man
2:51 and like he's leaked to be in the movie
2:53 and likely we're going to see his main
2:55 universe. Maybe he's living life with
2:57 Mary Jane or something and something
2:58 happens because of an incursion and he's
2:59 like, "Okay, yeah, I got to join the
3:01 fight with these other Avengers from
3:03 different universes." Which I am glad.
3:04 This is kind of what I was theorizing
3:05 from the beginning that they're actually
3:06 giving them an important reason to be in
3:08 the story. It's not just cameos for
3:10 cameo sake. Like even Deadpool and
3:12 Wolverine, they all had a good reason to
3:13 be there. Characters like Gambit and
3:14 Blade and stuff. Then the interesting
3:16 part is he says they will later be
3:18 called upon by a higher authority to
3:20 join the fight. Now obviously one theory
3:22 could be that this is Dr. doom himself
3:24 that he's like maybe manipulating the
3:26 people like they look up to him and are
3:27 trusting him. He's like, "Hey guys, I
3:29 need you for this battle or something."
3:30 And then he ends up tricking them to all
3:32 fighting each other. This could also be
3:33 someone bigger like the Beyonder or
3:34 something, but I really don't know if
3:36 that movie is going to do that. Or
3:38 possibly maybe Loki is like the person
3:40 that reaches across the multiverse and
3:41 tells all these people like, "Hey, we
3:42 all need to team up and fight together
3:44 against Doom." It's really just going to
3:46 be crazy to truly see all these
3:47 different characters from all the
3:49 different Marvel movie universes team up
3:51 for the very first time in this movie.
3:52 Like I still can't believe this is
3:54 happening in like a little over a year
3:55 from now. Now, a few days ago, Daniel
3:57 RPK says that Avengers Doomsday will
3:59 reportedly act as a direct sequel to
4:01 Avengers Endgame. And he actually said
4:03 this right before they announced that
4:04 they're re-releasing Avengers Endgame in
4:06 theaters a few months before Doomsday
4:08 releases. And this also kind of lines up
4:09 with what we're now hearing from the
4:11 Cosmic Circus, but we've heard this from
4:13 other insiders and leakers a couple
4:14 months ago saying that apparently Dr.
4:17 Doom is going to be going after Steve
4:19 Rogers in Avengers Doomsday. One theory
4:20 is that Steve Rogers kind of doing
4:22 everything with the time stone and all
4:24 the other Infinity Stones, putting them
4:25 back in their place kind of started
4:27 causing these incursions, which timeline
4:29 wise wouldn't exactly line up. But it
4:31 definitely seems like if Marvel is
4:33 taking this route of making Doomsday a
4:34 direct sequel to Endgame, they're kind
4:36 of like, "Okay, we accept that the
4:38 Multiverse Saga was a mess. We're kind
4:39 of just going to jump over a lot of
4:41 that." Which I honestly can't blame them
4:42 for doing. Not even just because the
4:44 Multiversal Saga wasn't that great. also
4:46 because they spent a couple years of the
4:48 multiverse saga building up Kang as the
4:50 main villain, which obviously ended up
4:51 leading to nothing now that they've
4:53 replaced him with Dr. Doom. So, they
4:54 kind of don't really have a choice.
4:56 Like, there wasn't any buildup anyways.
4:58 Might as well just make this directly
5:00 tied into the events of Endgame with
5:02 Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and
5:04 Victor von Doom and having Steve Rogers
5:06 play a huge role in this film. Maybe we
5:07 see Pedro being the one that figures out
5:09 what Doom's doing and how he's trying to
5:11 track down Steve Rogers or something and
5:13 that's how he gets intertwined into the
5:14 story. And I mean intertwined farther
5:16 than him having his son obviously
5:18 because we do know Dr. Doom does have
5:20 Franklin Richards captive. Now he also
5:22 says that Yolena will reportedly be in a
5:23 precarious situation in Avengers
5:25 Doomsday that will force Bob to bring
5:27 out Sentry, which I'm honestly very
5:29 happy. It seems like yes, he is going to
5:31 unleash Sentry in this movie. We all
5:32 knew that this is one of the most
5:34 powerful characters in the Marvel
5:35 universe right now. And if they want a
5:37 chance at beating Doom, he's going to
5:38 have to be able to learn to control the
5:40 actual Sentry powers and not let the
5:42 void take over. But I made a theory
5:43 video like months ago where I was
5:44 talking about the fact that I think Dr.
5:47 Doom is going to manipulate Sentry into
5:48 joining his side and we're going to get
5:50 some of the bigger villains in the MCU
5:52 kind of working with Dr. Doom. So, it's
5:54 not just like Doom versus every single
5:56 Marvel hero that's ever existed.
5:57 Honestly, this could be a brilliant move
6:00 from Doom. like he goes and puts Yolena
6:01 in some dangerous situation, takes her
6:03 hostage or something too, just like he
6:05 did with Franklin Richards. He knows
6:06 that's going to bring out the void side
6:09 of Sentry and then he's like, "Oh yeah,
6:10 now that you're in the void mode, Sentry
6:12 is easily manipulated and starts working
6:14 with Doom." Honestly, there have to be a
6:15 little bit more nuance that goes into
6:17 that. But I feel like the general idea I
6:18 could definitely see happening. And
6:19 honestly, we're going to need a lot of
6:21 stuff like this, like Doom playing mind
6:23 games and stuff with the Thunderbolts
6:25 because obviously their powers besides
6:27 Sentry are incredibly weak compared to
6:28 pretty much every other hero we're going
6:29 to see in this movie with the main
6:31 Avengers and the X-Men and everything,
6:33 but I still want them to be heavily
6:34 involved in the story. So hopefully
6:35 Marvel is cooking behind the scenes
6:37 there. Now, another one that seems
6:38 obvious on the surface until you
6:39 actually think about it for a second is
6:41 that the Cosmic Circus is also saying
6:42 that Spider-Man Brand New Day and Vision
6:44 Quest will reportedly start setting up
6:47 Avengers Secret Wars, not Doomsday. Now,
6:48 both of these projects are coming out
6:50 before Doomsday, but Paul Bettney as
6:52 Vision and Tom Holland as Spider-Man
6:54 have still not been confirmed to be in
6:55 the next Avengers movie. And I mean,
6:56 this definitely makes it sound like
6:57 neither of these characters are going to
6:59 be in Doomsday. They're both being saved
7:00 for Secret Wars, which just makes me
7:02 wonder, how do they set this up now? I
7:03 feel like they're not just going to have
7:04 Dr. Doom appear in the postredit scene
7:06 for Spider-Man brand new day or anything
7:08 like that or Vision Quest. I feel like
7:10 we're going to see something else. Maybe
7:11 we see the incursion start happening to
7:13 the main MCU timeline here, just like we
7:15 saw at the end of Doctor Strange in the
7:16 Multiverse of Madness with Clea showing
7:17 up. I don't know. It's going to be
7:19 curious to see though, how do you set up
7:20 these two characters with something
7:21 that's big and teases Avengers: Secret
7:23 Wars, but that doesn't involve them in
7:25 the events of Doomsday. Let me know your
7:26 theories in the comments below. And make
7:27 sure to drop a like on the video before
7:29 the next topic, which is shifting away
7:30 from any leaks and going over to this
7:32 new viewership report from Disney Plus,
7:33 which is talking about the fact that the
7:35 Fantastic 4 First Steps has had the
7:38 worst Disney Plus debut of any MCU
7:41 title, and it earned 4.9 million views.
7:42 For comparison, you can see the numbers.
7:44 Captain America: Brave New World and
7:45 Ant-Man and the Was Quantum Mania had
7:48 over 6 million views. Thunderbolts and
7:50 the Marvels had over 5 million views.
7:51 But the key thing to remember here is
7:53 that the Fantastic 4 First Steps made
7:54 more money at the box office than any of
7:56 those other films. It sounds bad on its
7:57 own, like people aren't interested in
7:59 this movie. But again, its numbers
8:01 aren't that much lower and more people
8:02 saw it in the theaters. So, it makes
8:03 sense that once it came out on Disney
8:05 Plus, not that many people were rushing
8:06 out to watch it cuz more people had
8:08 already seen the film compared to like
8:10 Brave New World and Thunderbolts that
8:12 both brought in like under $450 million.
8:14 People were just waiting for Disney Plus
8:15 for that one. still do think there's
8:17 probably some concern for Marvel at the
8:18 fact that even though the Fantastic 4
8:19 first steps made more than all these
8:21 movies listed, it still didn't cross
8:23 $600 million at the box office. And
8:25 these numbers on Disney Plus don't show
8:27 that the general audience is that
8:28 invested in these characters. And
8:30 obviously, it does seem like Reed is
8:31 going to be a heavy part of the next
8:33 Avengers movies. So, I guess they're
8:34 just going to have to win over the
8:36 audience in that next Avengers film.
8:37 Now, make sure to drop a like on the
8:38 video and subscribe. We got the
8:40 Supergirl and Doomsday trailer coming
8:41 out in the next week. I'm going to be
8:43 covering all of that. Tons of theories,
