0:11 let me first say this the the most of
0:14 the flock which was uh raised here was
0:16 actually for
0:21 Jerusalem it was meant to be sacrificial
0:23 animals isn't that interesting that they
0:25 did that
0:28 here and so there's many reasons we just
0:30 heard from Gus
0:33 that uh one of the reasons to tell it to
0:35 Shepherd is to spread the news because
0:37 they go everywhere and they will tell
0:39 everyone but it was also really good
0:42 news for them because it I can you
0:44 imagine that's frustrating pastors If
0:46 You Raise A Flock and you need to
0:50 sacrifice them every year you need to uh
0:53 get rid of them that's not like it's
0:54 great to be a Shepherd but if you always have
0:55 have
0:58 to give away your flock to be slaughtered
1:01 slaughtered
1:03 so that's what's going to stop that
1:07 system you understand it it would stop
1:10 the whole sacrificial system you could
1:12 say the whole old Covenant the whole old
1:15 way so you the temple was almost like a
1:18 Butchery and every Ministry on the law
1:20 actually functions as a
1:23 Butchery people get
1:25 sacrificed sheep get shaved why they
1:28 didn't even get a chance to grow wool
1:30 and that should not be
1:32 so in that sense it was also good news
1:36 for the for the Shepherds and um the
1:38 other thing I want to mention before we
1:41 look at the Bible uh now you see roads
1:44 but in the time of uh Jesus there were
1:46 also just
1:50 paths around hills and mountains and
1:52 actually when we speak of the path of
1:55 righteousness it's actually those paths
1:56 so that's where Shepherds would take
1:59 sheep and it would slowly go higher on
2:03 also around a hill or around a mountain
2:05 now isn't that funny because the Bible
2:08 says the path of the righteous shines
2:11 brighter and brighter from glory to
2:13 glory and that's what also happens in
2:16 our life that God makes us walks path
2:18 which go higher and higher and you might
2:20 come in the same season of your life but
2:22 what happens when you hire you have a
2:24 different perspective you have a
2:27 different View and that's what's
2:30 happening with us now now we go to the a
2:31 little bit of scripture which I want to
2:35 share last but it's so incredibly cool
2:38 it's so cool okay it's actually the Angels
2:39 Angels
2:44 speaking um when we read
2:47 Luke 2 it says while they were there the
2:49 time came for the baby to be born and
2:51 she gave birth to her
2:54 firstborn a son she wrapped him in
2:56 clothes and placed him in the manger
2:57 because there was no guest room
3:00 available for them now then it goes to
3:02 the Shepherds and then we we read then
3:06 the Angels start to speak to the to the
3:09 Shepherds listen to this do not be
3:12 afraid I bring you good news that will
3:15 cause great joy for all
3:19 people today in the town of David a
3:21 savior has been born to you he's the
3:26 Messiah the Lord this will be a sign to
3:30 you this will be a sign to you it's not
3:32 just a miracle this will be a sign to
3:35 you you will find a baby wrapped in
3:37 clothes and lying in the
3:40 manger and then suddenly a great company
3:42 of heavenly host appeared with the angel
3:43 praising God saying glory to God in the
3:46 highest heaven and on Earth peace to
3:48 those on whom his favor
3:52 rests this will be a sign to you you
3:55 will find a baby wrapped in clothes
3:58 lying in the manger what's the sign
4:00 because it's not just the Great thing
4:05 it's not just a miracle it's again a
4:09 sign the theme of the last day when we
4:13 go to Bethlehem is actually born to
4:18 die Jesus was born to die and the sign
4:21 was that they saw a baby wrapped in
4:24 clothes lying in a Manger now A Manger
4:27 in the Christian church often is like a
4:31 basket or a wooden thing or something
4:34 from from with hay and straw and but
4:36 actually it's a piece of stone it's a
4:38 piece of
4:41 rock which is worked there's a hole made
4:47 Rock and there's a body lying in it
4:49 wrapped in
4:51 clothes now think back where did we
4:54 where were we yesterday
4:57 morning Tomb at the Garden
5:00 tomb so what was the sign as Jesus was
5:04 born and he was lying in a piece of rock
5:07 where a hole was made in it was already
5:09 a picture from also how it would
5:17 is when he left the
5:19 grave which was also a piece of stone
5:23 with a hole in it he left the clothes
5:30 linen and that is so cool because linen
5:31 stands for
5:37 righteousness so Jesus was born to
5:41 die and after his resurrection his linen
5:49 us that's why the Bible says his
5:57 righteousness so but at his birth you
6:00 could already see all so how it would
6:05 end for him on Earth Jesus was born to
6:09 die and it happened and his resurrection
6:11 is proof of our
6:15 righteousness how amazing is
6:17 that is Jesus
6:20 resurrected yes that means if you
6:22 believe in him you're
6:24 righteous it there's nothing to do with
6:26 your behavior anymore his resurrection
6:27 is the proof of your
6:30 righteousness and he left even his linen
6:33 behind for you as a mantle you know that
6:36 Adam and Eve end up thinking we're naked
6:38 and God slaughtered an animal for them
6:41 to be dressed there was also already a
6:43 picture pointed to what Jesus would end
6:47 up doing leaving his mantle his cloth
6:50 his skin behind for us that we will be
6:53 clothed with his
6:57 righteousness and be okay again with God
6:59 that's why it is we come to prounce you
7:03 good news and it's good news for all men
7:05 men
7:09 wow how great is our
7:13 God from a little place in
7:16 Bethlehem good news starting with
7:23 fishermen God is so good and it reached
7:27 us because look at you here you are you
7:29 standing in Bethlehem
7:32 the sign was such a big sign that it end
7:34 up going over the whole world it went
7:37 for all people and here you
7:46 are our God is good amen and he loves us
7:47 he loves
7:52 us now one last thing for you to take
7:56 home who has seen things going wrong in
8:01 who has seen things going wrong in the
8:12 honest now it's also the city of
8:16 David and I once wanted to study David's
8:18 life so I went in my Bible I went to the
8:20 first book of Samuel and I go to David
8:23 God says no stop go to the start of the
8:26 book of Samuel go to 1 Samuel 1 so I go
8:29 to 1 Samuel 1 and it's Hannah crying in
8:31 the Tabernacle and Eli's thinking what
8:34 is that woman doing here he's drunk or I
8:36 think I said no I want to study
8:39 David the Lord says yeah but that starts
8:43 there the story of David being a king
8:47 after God's heart reigning in life it
8:48 starts with
8:51 Hannah now what does Hannah mean the name
8:52 name
8:54 Hannah it means
8:57 Grace So Hannah can actually be unfruitful
9:03 wow
9:06 Hannah couldn't get children so Hannah
9:11 started un fruitful then she's in the
9:14 temple and Eli says God is answering
9:17 your prayers and what happens Hannah
9:21 becomes fruitful she give birth to a son
9:24 Grace becomes fruitful what happens when
9:27 Grace becomes fruitful is David
9:30 born no Samuel gets born
9:33 and what is Samuel is Samuel King now he's
9:34 he's
9:37 priest but is Samuel born as a perfect
9:40 Priest No he grows up in the sight of
9:43 Eli and his corrupted
9:48 Sons that's what makes Samuel a good
9:50 priest are you hearing
9:54 me so for Ministry to grow up healthy it
9:56 doesn't start to reign as a king it
9:58 actually starts with priesthood and
10:01 actually the priesthood has it eyes on
10:08 not and then Samuel is a good priest and
10:15 David he anoints
10:18 Saul only after Saul he anoints David
10:20 and is David immediately King when he's
10:24 anointed no what happens with David
10:27 David grows up with the eyes on Saul how
10:29 not to
10:37 to so where we have stuff in our lives
10:39 and even in our churches that we think
10:42 man that is so wrong but we shouldn't
10:45 fear that by the grace of God actually
10:47 there's great
10:49 lessons as we can be grateful to the
10:51 Jewish people what they whatever they
10:52 messed up with God we're the
10:54 beneficiaries because the Bible writes
10:57 their mistakes are for your
11:00 lessons so when Grace becomes fruitful
11:02 in our lives and even in our church not
11:04 everything goes perfect straight away
11:09 but we never give up we learn also from
11:13 the how not to and yes those who receive
11:15 abundance of grace and the gift of
11:18 righteousness they will reign in life
11:20 yes that's what I thought 20 years ago
11:22 I'm the king of the world I finally have
11:24 the right message and I'm done now 20
11:27 years later I realized oh man I was nowhere
11:29 nowhere
11:31 it took me a couple of decades and I
11:34 didn't start as a king first start God
11:36 started to grow my priesthood and you
11:38 know what I found out that I have the
11:41 same Tendencies as Eli and his corrupt
11:43 sons and then I learned of David I
11:45 thought I want to be David I want to be
11:47 the man after God's heart I want to be
11:49 the the good guy and then I realized but
11:51 I also have a soul on my inside I also
11:55 have that fleshly King in me so we're
11:57 not pointing out to the ones who make
12:00 the mistakes we realize that could be us
12:03 and we all keep on receiving an
12:05 abundance of Grace and then healthy
12:09 Ministry grows and we'll end up reigning
12:12 as kings and then we'll do it right
12:16 because we also learned how not to amen
12:19 and those are precious lessons in our
12:21 lives and in our churches because of the
12:24 grace of God we shouldn't fear or look
12:28 away that what went wrong or that what's
12:32 not good just keep on receiving Grace
12:35 Grace
12:37 amen now the last thing is in confession
12:39 from what something which went wrong in
12:41 my life and God is correcting me here in
12:44 the nation last time already but but now
12:47 again it gets stronger uh when I heard
12:50 about the one new man Jew and Gentile
12:52 that that actually God's
12:55 dream uh I started Father's
12:58 house and uh father's house is is my
13:00 Ministry is called father's house and
13:02 God preserved even the name I have
13:05 father's house.com which is an absolute
13:08 Miracle but the dream of the Father in
13:10 Heaven is to have both Jew and both
13:12 Gentile in the house you know if you're
13:14 a dad you're sitting at the table you
13:16 can choose which child do I have at my
13:20 table what would you say all both but me
13:23 as a Dutch Gentile thought oh I'm that
13:25 half and you know what I didn't see what
13:28 I found out here but there's other
13:29 there's another group group of people
13:32 which are actually precious and which
13:34 deserve a key role and it's not given to
13:39 them and it's the Arab Believers in
13:42 Israel I came here as a duy thinking I'm
13:45 the other half of the one new man but
13:46 who is living close to the
13:50 Jews who's the first one to be able to
13:52 form that one new man practically
13:56 serving together praying together doing
13:58 it together and the Arab Believers in
14:02 the land are are are actually the
14:04 Messianic body is not really recognized
14:06 or really held by the Christian world
14:08 but immediately the next ones are the
14:12 Arab Believers which deserve and need our
14:13 our
14:15 prayers because then the father's house
14:18 works and then when Jewish believer and
14:20 Arab believer cooperate for Imagine for
14:23 the region here when Jewish believer and
14:25 Arab believer
14:28 cooperate when they embrace one another
14:32 and so what what our role from outside
14:34 is really to honor Israel no salvation
14:36 comes from the Jew but the first thing
14:38 is not take the place of the Arab
14:41 believer but also support them pray for
14:43 them and that was one of the reasons I
14:46 wanted to pay the lunch the lunch here
14:48 it's not only because I love you
14:51 actually you come second it's because I
14:53 want to bless
15:01 Arab company as well we want to bless
15:05 the Arab believer as well because they
15:06 absolutely have their role and they're
15:09 on the great pressure Bethlehem was a
15:11 was still now a very predominantly
15:14 Christian village and it decreased from
15:18 how much percent to 20 about 20% about
15:21 70% it's from from 70%
15:26 Christians 90 90% to 20% is only still
15:29 Christian Arabs in Bethlehem why why
15:31 does the devil put them under pressure
15:34 because I believe God has a major role
15:36 for them in forming that one new man
15:39 they're here all year we come once a
15:47 lucky so my last thing was but maybe uh
15:49 Lou wanted to do that to pray pray for
15:50 the nation but also pray for the Arab
15:53 Believers and uh honor honor them honor
15:55 them through through gas I don't think
15:58 basam came with us but no but we have G here
15:59 here yes
