0:03 Hello everyone. Welcome back to English
0:06 Fluency Teacher. I'm thrilled to have
0:08 you here for another exciting shadowing
0:11 practice session. If this is your first
0:15 time here, let me explain what we do.
0:17 Shadowing is one of the most effective
0:19 techniques for improving your English
0:22 speaking skills. It's simple. You listen
0:25 to a sentence and immediately repeat it
0:28 out loud, copying the pronunciation,
0:31 rhythm, and intonation exactly as you
0:33 hear it. Think of it like being
0:37 someone's echo or shadow.
0:39 Why should you practice shadowing? The
0:42 benefits are incredible.
0:44 It dramatically improves your
0:46 pronunciation, makes you speak more
0:49 fluently and naturally, strengthens your
0:52 listening comprehension, helps you think
0:54 faster in English, and builds your
0:57 confidence when speaking. When you
0:59 shadow regularly, you're training your
1:01 brain and mouth to work together
1:03 automatically, which is exactly what
1:07 native speakers do. Today's topic is
1:09 dining at a restaurant. This is one of
1:11 the most common situations you will
1:14 encounter when traveling or living in an
1:16 English-speaking country. Whether you're
1:19 ordering food, asking questions about
1:22 the menu, or paying the bill, these
1:25 phrases will be extremely useful. I will
1:28 say each sentence two times and then
1:31 you'll have time to repeat after me.
1:34 Remember, you must speak out loud. Don't
1:36 just think the words in your head.
1:39 Actually saying them is what creates
1:41 real improvement.
1:43 Now let's start the shadowing practice
1:46 session. I will say each sentence two
1:48 times. Listen carefully to my
1:51 pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation.
1:54 Then when I pause, repeat the sentence
1:58 out loud. Don't be shy. Speak up. The
2:00 louder you practice, the better you'll
