0:02 So in your resume the project should be
0:05 very very focused on AI. Maybe you have
0:06 built some agent on your own. Maybe you
0:09 have added LMM on top of something.
0:11 Maybe you have built a rag model. So if
0:14 you have integrated AI into anything, if
0:17 you have integrated added LLM on top of
0:19 something or maybe you have built many
0:21 apps using replet or some other white
0:23 coding tools like cursor, claude, then
0:25 that is going to be very very important
0:27 and make sure that you mention in the
0:29 projects. So in the tool section you
0:31 mentioned that you have used these these
0:33 tools which is like whether you have
0:35 used cloud or you have used replet or
0:37 let's say if you are building using LLM
0:39 then you mention exactly what inference
0:42 engine you used what model you used why
0:44 did you use that model what was the
0:46 percentage improvement what is better
0:48 from the existing AI apps and tools
0:50 which are doing the same thing so make
0:53 sure that it is very very detailed and
0:56 comprehensive and it isn't very vague so
0:58 I would say that the first very
1:00 important step is your projects and I
1:01 also made a short video on this that how
1:03 you can build production ready app using
1:05 emergent. So go ahead and try that out
1:08 as well. Make sure that your app or
1:10 project whatever that you have built it
1:14 is tested right it is scalable you have
1:16 taken care of all monitoring and logging
1:18 and all of these things because it's
1:19 very very important and make sure it's
1:21 deployed as well. Again I have made a
1:23 video on how do you actually deploy
1:25 projects. So go ahead and check that out
1:27 that will also be very helpful for you.
1:28 So the most important thing is your
1:31 projects and how you build them because
1:32 that is what is going to get you
1:34 shortlisted. So your resume should have
1:36 two to three projects, right? Your
1:38 bachelor's degree is there, right? Your
1:41 college reputation, name doesn't matter.
1:43 Okay? So tier 1, tier 2, 33, get that
1:45 out of your head. That's not important.
1:47 What's important is that you have a good
1:49 GPA. Yes, it is important because I had
1:52 a GPA of 8.9 and I was not selected on
1:54 campus. I was rejected because people
1:56 had 9 plus GPA. They were people who had
1:58 10 GPA, right? If you're competing with
1:59 them, they will get that and you will
2:01 not get it. So you will not get
2:04 shortlisted. But but but but since I had
2:06 a good internship experience and I had
2:08 good ranks in the contest that I used to
2:11 give because of that when I applied off
2:12 campus I was able to get a referral
2:14 easily from a Google employee and then I
2:16 was also able to get a call and along
2:18 with that I had also participated in a
2:20 few Google related competitions. So make
2:21 sure if there are any Google
2:23 competitions coming and there is a
2:25 Google competition coming up stay tuned
2:26 you go ahead and apply in that because
2:28 that is going to be very very helpful
2:30 for your resume and to get shortlisted.
2:32 So after you have gotten shortlisted
2:34 what is the next thing that you have to
2:36 do right so now here I will segregate in
2:39 two parts one is going to be for the new
2:42 grad or let's say the students and one
2:43 is going to be for the working
2:46 professionals now new grads what you
2:47 have to focus on is you just have to
2:50 focus on data structures and algorithms
2:53 that is the most and the only thing that
2:56 you will be asked in this company in
3:00 Google now AI can go ahead and solve
3:01 lead code questions as well maybe better
3:03 than you but that's not what they are
3:04 looking at they're looking at whether
3:06 you have the thinking skills whether you
3:08 have the analytical skills whether you
3:10 are given a problem you're able to break
3:13 it down right so maybe the questions now
3:15 are much more vague than they used to be
3:17 but what is more important is that you
3:19 still go ahead and focus on solving deep
3:21 code questions solve all Google tact
3:23 question that should be good to go read
3:24 up on past interview experiences that
3:26 people have given that is enough
3:28 preparation to get into Google don't
3:31 complicate Don't worry about it. Data
3:33 structures and algorithms is important
3:34 and the most important topics in
3:35 priority order will be dynamic
3:39 programming and then you will have your
3:41 what do you have you have your dynamic
3:42 programming then you will have graphs
3:44 and you will have trees and then you
3:46 will have binary search etc greedy
3:48 problems right so this is going to be
3:49 the order of what the most important
3:51 topics are now coming to working
3:53 professions you have to focus on system
3:56 design as well so in Google L3 L4 levels
4:00 will L3 L4 is like sweet 2 and sweet 3
4:01 they will just have data structures
4:03 algorithms L5 above you will have system
4:05 design as well in your interviews. So
4:07 make sure you're preparing for system
4:08 design. If you want to know what is a
4:10 site then I have made a career map
4:12 career quest the link will be in the
4:13 description below. Go ahead and check it
4:15 out. You will get a personalized road
4:17 map according to you along with tips of
4:18 what I would do if I was preparing to
4:20 get into big tech yet. Again the link
4:22 will be in the description. Go ahead and
4:23 check it out. But the point is that if
4:24 you are experienced you have to go ahead
4:26 and prepare for system design as well.
4:28 So that is it from the interview
4:29 preparation how you have to go ahead and
4:30 prepare for that. The most important
4:33 skill again I would say is your resume
4:34 that you have to go ahead and build out
4:36 and for that the projects that you build
4:37 is very important and the experience
4:39 that you have whether it's an internship
4:41 or whether it's working at a startup is
4:43 very very important. So make sure you go
4:45 ahead and apply that and for projects I
4:47 have made a lot of tutorials of what you
4:48 can do to build production ready
4:50 projects. Go ahead and check it out. I
4:51 hope it will be helpful for you and you
4:54 will be able to build a resume that will
4:56 get shortlisted and I hope that gives
4:58 you a good idea of what it really takes
5:00 to get into Google. So that is your
5:02 Google 2026 road map projects. Make sure
5:04 it's AI powered. Make sure you use VIP
5:07 coding tools. Make sure you add why your
5:08 project is different, why your product
5:10 is different for your GPA. Make sure
5:13 it's a good GPA. Make sure that you your
5:15 computer what your education aligns with
5:17 what Google generally likes and you have
5:19 a past internship experience as well.
5:21 For getting past internship experiences
5:23 and more offers I can make a separate
5:25 video on that. Just let me know in the
5:28 comments and I will do that. And for the
5:30 complete comprehensive road map again I
5:32 have a site that I have built career
5:33 quest where you can go ahead and find
5:35 out everything that you want
5:37 personalized to you and according to my
5:39 tips as well. So you will have a resume
5:40 template which I have used. You will
5:41 have a referral template that I have
5:43 used. Everything is available on the
5:45 site. Go ahead and check that out out.
5:47 And yeah, that's it for the video. I
5:48 hope you like this. Make sure you give
5:50 it a like, you comment, and you
5:52 subscribe for my future videos. And I
5:53 will see you in my next one. Until then, bye-bye.
