0:10 thank you
0:12 Sal mutations and greetings ego hackers
0:14 my name is Ben and welcome to today's
0:16 video where we're going to be discussing
0:19 the estp archetype also known as The
0:21 Gladiator estps are freedom-based
0:22 adventurers looking for shared
0:24 experiences with those who are loyal to
0:26 them they seek opportunities for
0:27 strengthening and teaching others as
0:29 well as avenues for personal expression
0:30 often through Pursuits involving
0:33 physicality and performance some
0:35 examples of famous csdps you may know of
0:37 would include Angelina Jolie Hugh
0:40 Jackman Chris Hemsworth Megan Fox Joe
0:43 Rogan and Matthew McConaughey as is true
0:45 for all types estps lie at the
0:47 intersection of a specific interaction
0:49 style and a specific temperament esps
0:51 belong to the structure interaction
0:53 style meaning that they are direct
0:55 initiating and outcome they are direct
0:57 meaning that they don't beat around the
0:59 bush they're among the most direct of
1:00 all the 16 types saying what they mean
1:02 and meaning what they say they can even
1:04 be mistaken for introverts because of
1:06 their succinctness they are initiating
1:08 meaning that they prefer to go to other
1:09 people and start conversations or
1:12 experiences rather than being led they
1:13 love leading the way when making new
1:15 memories with others they are outcome
1:16 meaning that they're concerned about
1:18 outcomes they like to make plans with an
1:20 outcome in mind and then act rather than
1:23 jumping into action right away estps are
1:25 part of the Artisan temperament meaning
1:27 that they are interest pragmatic and
1:30 concrete they are interest meaning that
1:31 they are very aware of what they're
1:33 getting out of an interaction or
1:35 investment if the esdp senses that
1:36 they're getting played or taken
1:38 advantage of they're likely to back out
1:39 of that interaction and look elsewhere
1:40 where they will be treated more
1:42 favorably they're pragmatic which means
1:44 that estps approach problems with the
1:46 what's the best way to fix this kind of
1:48 attitude they rarely ask permission or
1:49 make sure what they want to do is
1:52 approved by authorities they just do
1:54 what they know will work naturally
1:55 competent and independent witnessing
1:57 others asking for permission is often
1:59 seen as weakness and stupidity in the
2:01 eyes of the estp they're concrete
2:03 meaning that esdps are focused primarily
2:05 on the here and now and like to deal
2:07 with concrete facts and tested anecdotal
2:09 evidence rather than theories and
2:11 what-ifs their extra intuition demon
2:13 makes them especially resistant to
2:14 indulging in intellectual possibilities
2:17 or abstract exploration reality is
2:19 what's real to them in terms of the aid
2:21 cognitive functions estps have
2:23 extroverted sensing hero introverted
2:25 thinking parent extroverted feeling
2:27 child introverted intuition inferior
2:30 introverted sensing Nemesis extroverted
2:32 thinking critic introverted feeling
2:34 trickster and extroverted intuition
2:37 demon beginning with SE hero estps are
2:38 very aware of another person's
2:40 experience they seek to make others
2:42 comfortable and perform well for the
2:44 sake of gaining their attention the stps
2:46 can be serious attention sponges they
2:48 can't get enough attention they're often
2:49 naturally talented in performance
2:52 whether it be in sports acting or
2:53 anything that requires a command over an
2:56 audience estps shine estps are also
2:57 aware of the strength of other people
3:00 their SE hero seeks S.I loyalty
3:03 reliability and consistency from the
3:04 people who are close to them sexually
3:07 man or woman estps tend to be most
3:09 engaged when they are guiding the
3:10 intimate experience by giving the
3:12 experience with their SE hero it's not
3:14 uncommon for an estp woman to initiate
3:16 with a man and ask him out on a date T.I
3:18 parent introverted thinking parent is
3:21 responsible with its thinking TI parent
3:22 processes information quickly and is
3:24 proficient in testing for weakness and
3:25 argument making them skilled
3:28 troubleshooters and problem solvers GI
3:29 parent is one of the hardest functions
3:31 to fool making estp's natural Detectors
3:34 of Deceit or manipulation from others Fe
3:36 child Effie child is very innocent about
3:39 wanting to make others feel good Effie
3:40 child also adopts the values of those
3:43 closest to them Fe is seeking the morals
3:44 and principles of the FI users around
3:46 them because they're seeking to be
3:48 valued by others Effie child gives
3:50 generously and often without thought of
3:52 reward however the estp being
3:54 interest-based they will likely raise an
3:55 eyebrow if enough time has passed and
3:57 you haven't given anything in return
3:59 they eventually figure out if they're
4:01 being taken advantage of an eye inferior
4:04 ni inferior makes the estp terrified of
4:06 losing their freedom estps really
4:08 struggle to make decisions making any
4:11 decision means saying no to dozens more
4:13 ecps are so afraid that walking through
4:15 one door makes every other door close
4:17 even in small things like card games or
4:20 building a burrito from Chipotle yes DPS
4:22 struggled to choose what they want they
4:24 are among the biggest victims of fomo
4:27 fear of missing out however once an estp
4:29 does choose something or someone that
4:30 they desire the follow-through with
4:32 their ni can be more intense than that
4:35 of even anti-heroes in time estps can
4:37 become reliable decision makers who find
4:39 Freedom wherever they are S.I Nemesis
4:42 with SI Nemesis estps can get very
4:45 nostalgic about the past SM Nemesis
4:47 creates worry in the estp about not
4:49 having good memories when they look back
4:51 at their life they worry there will not
4:53 be enough good memories for them this is
4:54 one of the reasons their Essie hero
4:55 wants to constantly have shared
4:57 experiences with others because a shared
4:59 experience means a new memory that they
5:01 can make and look back on later SM
5:03 Nemesis makes the esdp worry that
5:05 they're weak that they can't follow
5:06 through with things and that they're
5:09 flaky and undisciplined the estp's
5:10 struggle to put in the necessary very
5:12 effort into having a good outcome even
5:14 though they want a good outcome SI
5:16 Nemesis is also a constant reminder to
5:18 estp is that they have poor long-term
5:20 memory they need to create physical
5:23 totems such as notes pictures Etc to
5:25 help them remember te critic estps
5:27 naturally walk around thinking other
5:29 people are stupid they know that they
5:30 are careful and precise with their own
5:32 TI parent but they naturally believe
5:34 that others are not smart or do not put
5:36 in the effort to think things through
5:38 clearly this can be a major problem for
5:40 them who come across as alienating when
5:41 they refuse to listen to others and
5:43 label them as stupid by default the
5:46 wiser an estp gets with their te critic
5:47 they start to figure out how to make
5:48 others smarter by asking pointed
5:51 questions like have you considered X Y
5:53 or Z instead of always resorting to
5:55 you're wrong without providing further
5:57 explanation and the even wiser estps
5:59 realize that they could learn a thing or
6:01 two from listening to other people fi
6:03 trickster estps have no idea how they
6:05 feel and they have no idea what they
6:07 value fi trickster can make estps look
6:10 amoral or even soulless but it's really
6:11 their inability to know how to Value
6:14 things properly this is another reason
6:16 their Effie child seeks other fi users
6:19 estps love being around infps with their
6:21 fi hero because the estp can borrow the
6:23 values and the priority systems from the
6:25 infp covering for the blind spot of the
6:28 estp's own fi trickster estps also
6:30 struggle with expressing gratitude often
6:32 unsure when and how much gratitude
6:33 should be expressed it's not that the
6:36 estp is ungrateful necessarily but just
6:37 that gratitude is a learned skill for
6:39 them and not something they're naturally
6:43 born with NE demon never take away an
6:46 estp's freedom of choice if you stop on
6:47 their anion for years anxiety about
6:50 losing its freedom the estps any demon
6:52 will come out and take your choice away
6:54 potentially even destroy your future
6:57 from any Demon's perspective if I don't
7:00 get a choice no one gets a choice any
7:02 demon despises the freedom that other
7:04 people have when their ni inferior
7:07 doesn't feel free however this is often
7:09 the estp's own fault where they lacked
7:10 the discipline and work ethic with their
7:13 SI Nemesis to create new opportunities
7:15 for themselves to begin with regardless
7:17 of fault though be careful about any
7:20 demon and never ever take away the
7:22 esdp's freedom to choose always give
7:24 them a choice a dive into the four sides
7:26 of the mind for the estp can reveal
7:29 their Pathway to maturity the estp ego
7:32 comes paired with infj subconscious istj
7:36 unconscious and ENFP superego Mastery of
7:38 the esdp ego reveals the estp's pathway
7:40 to responsibility and maturity the
7:42 fastest way for an estp to develop their
7:44 maturity is to choose to be responsible
7:46 with their TI parent TI parent when used
7:48 responsibly orients the estp's life
7:51 around accuracy truth and logical
7:53 Precision estps who naturally want to
7:55 help others find that a developed TI
7:58 parent though painful is often the best
8:00 way of healing others and as the estp is
8:02 fearful of losing their freedom a
8:04 maturity eye parent gives Freedom the
8:06 truth will set you free right and their
8:08 ni inferior doesn't have to be so afraid
8:10 of losing its Choice infj sub conscious
8:13 reveals the estp's path to happiness the
8:15 subconscious represents our aspiration
8:17 and is unlocked when the inferior gets
8:20 over its fear and aspires to become
8:22 courageous and capable the subconscious
8:24 is the gateway to the type of person we
8:27 want to become deep down estps want to
8:30 be sages mentors therapists counselors
8:31 and coaches through their infj
8:33 subconscious they want to pour into
8:35 others lives and invest in making those
8:37 people stronger more in touch with
8:39 themselves and help in building moral
8:41 character you'll notice estps at either
8:43 the quarter life or midlife crisis start
8:45 to develop an uncanny interest in the
8:47 abstract perhaps they'll have a growing
8:48 interest in people and want to pursue
8:50 Hobbies or potentially a career that
8:52 allows them to help or strengthen the
8:54 people around them infj subconscious in
8:57 particular usually prefers to focus on
8:59 fewer people pouring more into those
9:01 people but with high intensity believe
9:03 it or not estps can become like the wise
9:05 Sage on the mountain as their infj
9:07 subconscious grows and develops isdj
9:10 unconscious also known as shadow reveals
9:12 that estp's path to wisdom the
9:14 unconscious represents our Advanced
9:16 maturity where we develop wisdom so
9:18 isdj's shadow makes the estp want to
9:20 pursue academic Hobbies or potentially
9:22 even careers estps who are focused on
9:24 developing their isdj Shadow become
9:25 interested in history education and
9:27 other intellectual Pursuits if you find
9:30 an estp who is invested in going to
9:31 school or pursuing a degree perhaps even
9:34 teaching chances are they are Shadow
9:36 focused meaning they are still in estp
9:37 but with some noticeable traits of the
9:41 isdj in time an estp's wisdom is built
9:42 up through their memory of a lifetime of
9:44 interesting experiences stored in their
9:46 SI Nemesis and their te critic when it
9:49 becomes wise can make the esdp a
9:50 competent teacher who knows exactly how
9:52 to improve the thinking of those around
9:55 them ENFP superego reveals the estp's
9:58 path to love the superego is where our
10:00 hate bitterness resentment and
10:02 repression are stored up the stps are
10:04 haunted by the consequences of their
10:06 actions and the consequences of the
10:08 choices of others the NFP superego
10:09 naturally inhibits good choices and good
10:12 future the people around the estp they
10:13 are often unaware that they are
10:15 destructive to other people's futures
10:17 however as they free themselves more
10:19 with their ni inferior becomes
10:20 aspirational through their infj
10:23 subconscious and their capacity for
10:24 endurance and strength develops through
10:27 their istj Shadow any demon within the
10:30 ENFP superego can eventually become any
10:32 Angel any Angel through the ENFP
10:34 superego occurs when the estp actually
10:37 breaks off the chains from the other
10:39 people around them they can give others
10:40 a type of Freedom that no one else could
10:44 but until the estp faces the fact that
10:46 they wreak havoc on others Futures and
10:48 constantly create bad consequences for
10:49 other people with their impulsive
10:51 decisions they will continue to impede
10:53 others choices and Futures the
10:56 freedom-based highly competent estp has
10:58 a lot more than meets the eye often
11:00 regarded as shallow and Flaky estps can
11:03 become helpful compassionate and deeply
11:04 intelligent types who provide healing
11:06 and wisdom to the people in their lives
11:08 estps want to strengthen others around
11:09 them so that they too can experience
11:12 strength strength given by others or
11:14 developed within the estp themselves
11:15 ultimately becomes the one
11:17 characteristic that frees the estp the
11:19 most from their fears and their vices if
