0:01 Did you know that one of the greatest
0:04 financial adviserss in history is found
0:06 in the Bible? His name was Joseph in
0:08 Egypt [music] and his story reveals the
0:11 secrets of how to save wisely according
0:14 to God's wisdom. Because saving didn't
0:17 start in banks, it started in the Bible.
0:19 And if you learn this principle, your
0:22 finances can change not by luck, but by
0:26 divine wisdom. In this video, I'll show
0:28 you the 10 principles we learned from
0:29 Joseph's plan.
0:32 A man who went from prison to palace not
0:34 because of money but because of
0:38 obedience and vision. Stay until the end
0:40 because the last point might be the key
0:43 that takes you out of scarcity. One.
0:45 Joseph saved because he had vision not
0:48 fear. While everyone in Egypt enjoyed
0:50 the good years, Joseph was thinking
0:54 ahead. People were eating, spending, and
0:56 celebrating. But he knew good times
0:59 don't last forever. His saving wasn't a
1:01 reaction to fear. It was a response to
1:04 revelation. When God gives you vision,
1:06 he teaches you to look beyond the
1:09 present. The wise don't save because
1:11 they're afraid to lose, but because they
1:13 understand that abundance without
1:17 purpose runs out. In Genesis 41:47,
1:20 and 48, it says, "During the seven years
1:22 of abundance, the land produced
1:24 plentifully. Joseph collected all the
1:27 food produced in those seven years and
1:29 stored it in the cities. Joseph didn't
1:33 improvise, he planned. And that's the
1:36 first principle of biblical saving. Plan
1:38 before the need arrives. God doesn't
1:41 bless those who live daytoday, but those
1:44 who live with direction. Saving begins
1:46 when you stop reacting to the present
1:49 and start obeying an eternal vision.
1:52 Two, Joseph established a percentage.
1:56 The 20% principle. God gave him a clear
2:00 instruction. Ido, clear instruction. Let
2:02 Pharaoh take a fifth of the harvest of
2:06 Egypt. Genesis 41:34.
2:08 That means 20%.
2:10 Joseph didn't say, "Let's save if
2:12 there's something left." He said, "Let's
2:15 set aside a fixed portion." Biblical
2:17 saving is not an emotion. It's a
2:20 discipline. People who say, "When I have
2:24 more, I'll start saving." Never do.
2:26 Because saving doesn't depend on income.
2:29 It depends on order. God taught Joseph a
2:32 principle that still works today. Set
2:35 aside before spending, not after. When
2:38 you do that, you're not just storing
2:40 money. You're training your mind to
2:44 manage. Joseph's 20% represents
2:47 obedience, not amount. It doesn't matter
2:50 if today you can only save $5 or $50.
2:53 What matters is consistency and purpose.
2:56 Remember this, order always attracts
2:59 provision. Those who honor God with
3:01 discipline will see abundance even when
3:04 others go hungry. If this message is

3:12 Three, Joseph organized resources with
3:16 structure. The Bible says Joseph stored
3:18 the food in the cities, not all in one
3:21 place. That means he divided, planned,
3:24 [music] and distributed. He had a
3:27 system, and that's what many lack today,
3:30 structure. It's not enough to save. You
3:34 need to know where, how, and why. Joseph
3:36 didn't have a bank account, but he had
3:39 divine wisdom. And that wisdom led him
3:42 to build a storage system so effective
3:44 that no one went hungry during the seven
3:47 years of famine. Your account might be
3:50 empty, not because you earn little, but
3:52 because your management lacks structure.
3:56 Do as Joseph did. Organize your
3:59 resources. Create categories. Savings,
4:02 investment, generosity, and emergencies.
4:04 Financial disorder is the enemy of
4:07 blessing. God doesn't pour abundance
4:11 into disordered hands. Four, Joseph was
4:14 consistent during the good years. The
4:16 text says he stored up grain for seven
4:20 consecutive years. Not for a month, not
4:22 for a season, 7 years without interruption.
4:24 interruption.
4:26 This teaches us that saving is not a
4:29 temporary goal, but a lifestyle. Joseph
4:31 didn't change the plan when people got
4:33 tired of storing. He understood that
4:35 today's discipline is tomorrow's
4:38 security. Those who save only when they
4:41 feel motivated will never see results.
4:44 Blessing manifests when you are faithful
4:47 in the small things, even when no one
4:50 sees you. God rewards consistency more
4:52 than enthusiasm.
4:54 Saving is like sewing. You don't see the
4:56 fruit instantly, but the harvest will
5:00 come. Five. Joseph didn't confuse
5:03 abundance with freedom to spend. People
5:06 in Egypt thought, "We have plenty. Let's
5:09 enjoy it." And many today think the same
5:12 way. When there's money, they spend
5:14 carelessly. When there's lack, they pray
5:17 for provision. Joseph didn't fall into
5:20 that cycle. He knew that success without
5:24 control destroys faster than scarcity.
5:27 The Bible says in Proverbs 21:20, "In
5:29 the house of the wise are stores of
5:31 choice food and oil, but a foolish man
5:35 devours all he has." Do you see it? It
5:37 doesn't say the fool has nothing. It
5:40 says he spends everything. Joseph didn't
5:42 spend it all. He understood that saving
5:45 isn't greed. It's wisdom. Saving doesn't
5:48 mean doubting God. It means honoring
5:50 what he entrusts to you. God gives you
5:54 abundance to manage it, not to waste it.
5:57 Six, his savings had a greater purpose,
6:01 to save lives. When famine came, Egypt
6:04 had bread. And not only Egypt, the whole
6:07 world came to buy from Joseph. His
6:09 wisdom didn't just save a nation, it
6:13 saved his own family. Biblical saving is
6:16 not selfish. It's not about me, my
6:18 house, and my accounts. It's about being
6:21 a channel of blessing. Your savings can
6:23 sustain a ministry, help someone in
6:27 need, or become a seed for the kingdom.
6:29 Saving with an eternal purpose changes
6:32 the meaning of money. God doesn't
6:34 multiply what you hoard out of fear. He
6:36 multiplies what you reserve out of
6:39 vision. Every grain Joseph stored had a
6:43 purpose to preserve God's promise. and
6:45 every dollar you save can be the key to
6:48 something greater than yourself. Seven,
6:51 his faithfulness in management led him
6:54 to government. Joseph started in prison
6:57 but ended up ruling Egypt and he didn't
6:59 achieve it by luck but through
7:02 administrative wisdom. Pharaoh saw
7:04 something in him that few possess,
7:07 order, strategy, and faithfulness. God
7:10 doesn't promote those who pray without
7:12 acting, but those who manage with
7:15 excellence. If you are faithful with
7:18 little, God will trust you with more.
7:20 Many want to rule without learning to
7:23 save. But those who can't manage a
7:25 hundred won't know how to manage a
7:28 thousand. Saving prepares you to handle
7:30 greater responsibilities.
7:32 Joseph didn't just store grain, he
7:35 stored trust. And when the time came,
7:38 God positioned him because he managed
7:41 what others wasted. Remember, God's
7:43 promotion always comes to those who know
7:47 how to manage. Eight. Joseph recognized
7:50 that his wisdom came from God. When
7:52 Pharaoh praised him for interpreting
7:55 dreams, Joseph replied, "It is not in
7:58 me. God will give Pharaoh an answer."
8:01 Genesis 41:16.
8:03 Joseph didn't see himself as the author
8:06 of the plan, but as the messenger of the
8:08 divine plan. That's the difference
8:10 between earthly success and biblical prosperity.
8:12 prosperity.
8:14 Saving wisely doesn't depend only on
8:17 your intelligence, but on the guidance
8:20 of the Holy Spirit. God can show you
8:22 when to save, when to invest, and when
8:26 to give. Don't make financial decisions
8:29 using only your mind. Consult heaven.
8:32 Before making a move, pray. Before
8:35 spending, ask. Joseph's saving wasn't
8:38 human. It was spiritual. Financial
8:40 wisdom without communion with God
8:43 becomes mere calculation.
8:46 Nine. Saving turned Joseph into a leader
8:48 of influence. When famine struck the
8:51 world, everyone came to Egypt. And
8:54 Joseph, the forgotten slave, became the
8:56 most sought-a man on earth. His
8:59 obedience positioned him. His discipline
9:02 opened doors. God used his management to
9:05 make him ruler over nations. Saving
9:08 gives you stability, but it also gives
9:10 you influence.
9:12 It doesn't just prepare you to survive.
9:15 It trains you to lead. Those who can
9:17 manage their resources can also lead
9:20 teams, businesses, and ministries.
9:24 Saving is a form of leadership. Whoever
9:25 governs their money proves they're ready
9:28 to govern greater responsibilities.
9:31 10. Joseph turned his saving into an act
9:33 of spiritual obedience.
9:35 Many think management is something
9:39 worldly, but for Joseph, it was a way of
9:42 serving God. His faithfulness with the
9:43 grain was an expression of his
9:46 faithfulness to the vision. Each time he
9:49 stored wheat, he was declaring, "I
9:51 believe in what God showed me." And when
9:54 the crisis came, his obedience became
9:57 provision. Saving, when done under God's
10:00 direction, stops being a human practice
10:03 and becomes a ministry. God doesn't ask
10:05 you to save to accumulate, but to
10:09 multiply and sustain his purpose. Saving
10:11 doesn't replace faith. It demonstrates
10:15 it. Because saving wisely is acting in
10:17 faith, believing that the God who
10:20 provides today will also provide
10:23 tomorrow. Joseph wasn't an economist. He
10:26 was a man of faith with divine wisdom.
10:29 And his story shows us that money isn't
10:32 the problem. Lack of purpose is. God
10:34 doesn't want to see you enslaved to
10:37 spending or trapped in debt. He wants to
10:41 see you free, orderly, and blessed. The
10:44 lesson from Joseph is clear. Plan before
10:47 you spend. Set aside a portion with
10:50 purpose. Be consistent even when no one
10:55 sees. Do it with vision, not with fear.
10:58 And recognize that true provision comes
11:00 from God. When you live by these
11:03 principles, money stops being your worry
11:06 and becomes your tool. Because God
11:08 doesn't multiply disobedience. He
11:11 multiplies good management. Don't wait
11:15 for a crisis to obey. Start today like
11:18 Joseph while there is still abundance.
11:21 The same God who gave him wisdom to save
11:24 can give you direction to prosper. It's
11:27 not luck, it's obedience. It's not
11:29 magic, it's management. [music]
11:32 And it's not selfishness, it's vision.
11:36 So ask yourself today, am I using the
11:39 resources God gave me like Joseph or
11:42 like Egypt? One stored with purpose and
11:44 survived, the other spent without
11:47 thinking and suffered. The difference
11:50 wasn't money, it was wisdom. If this
