0:06 go into that, I want to talk about
0:07 something that I don't see anyone
0:09 talking about, and I think it's going to
0:11 be very important in volume 2. So in
0:16 this season, Vecna gives Holly music. He
0:18 could have given her a toy as a present
0:21 or something else, but he gave her
0:22 music. [music] The very thing that was
0:25 used against him in the previous season.
0:26 I mean, there has to be a reason for
0:29 that, right? I'm really not sure.
0:32 Anyway, about Robin's speech. In my
0:34 previous video, I briefly went over how
0:37 I believed that her speech was mainly
0:39 about self-acceptance and how you need
0:41 to accept yourself before loving someone
0:43 else or being able to get to the place
0:45 where you can even confess your love for
0:47 that person. Because Robin was too
0:49 scared to confess her love to Tammy,
0:51 that's why she thinks that nothing ever
0:53 became of them. And most likely, Tammy
0:54 was straight, but there could have been
0:56 a chance and she realizes that and she
0:58 regrets not taking the chance. and she
1:00 couldn't take the chance because she
1:02 didn't accept who she was. She was too
1:04 scared. In this speech, I don't think
1:07 Robin is telling Will that Mike [music]
1:10 is his Tammy. I think she's telling him
1:13 to take a risk. Stop being scared and
1:16 just do it. The reason why Robin's able
1:18 to be with Vicki now is because she
1:20 accepted herself and she took a risk.
1:22 And I think this speech was supposed to
1:25 be telling Will to do the same. And if
1:28 anything, Ella's mic's Tammy. [music] We
1:31 hear two times now that Robin used to
1:34 think Tammy's voice was like Whitney
1:37 godamn Houston, which we all know that
1:40 it's not. [snorts] But that's how Robin
1:42 viewed her. She had her on a pedestal.
1:44 She idolized her because Tammy didn't
1:45 care [music]
1:47 what other people thought. Tammy was
1:49 herself, and that's what Robin wanted to
1:53 be. Now, with Ellen Mike, all Mike has
1:55 done is idolize her. He calls her a
1:58 superhero, which El does not like, and
2:00 he's only ever really [crying] in awe of
2:03 her when she's using her powers, not
2:05 because of the person that she is.
2:06 >> It was right then and there that I knew
2:07 she was the one.
2:09 >> I knew right then and there in that
2:11 moment that I loved you. Wouldn't it be
2:14 strange to parallel two characters that
2:17 did get together with your main couple,
2:19 but then have parallels with Vicki and
2:22 Robin who are a couple and [music] Will
2:24 and Mike out of my parents garage and I
2:26 found this this this 8 mm film reel, you
2:27 know, and it was just from this silly
2:29 movie that I made in the fourth grade,
2:32 but I got it up on [music] the projector
2:34 and all of a sudden I was looking at
2:37 this little version of myself and that
2:40 little me, I could hardly recognize her,
2:44 you know, she was so carefree
2:47 and like fearless.
2:50 She just loved every part of herself. It
2:54 was always just about me.
2:57 I had all the answers. [music]
2:59 Just needed to stop being so goddamn scared.
3:01 scared.
3:03 Scared of
3:05 who I really was.
3:08 Once I did that,
3:11 [music] I felt so free. It's like I
3:14 could fly, you know, like like I could
3:17 finally be rock.
3:19 >> Also, I thought this parallel was kind
3:21 of funny. And it kind of also parallels
3:24 the way Will shoved Mike's chest in
3:25 season 4 when they were fighting,
3:27 [music] and now he's using it to be
3:29 playful. On another note, I've been
3:31 seeing people say that Mike looks very
3:34 uncomfortable in that scene,
3:36 >> but he's literally smirking [music] and
3:39 they were flirting right before Will's
3:42 shove. So, um, >> what?
3:43 >> what?
3:44 >> And Vecna likes to control the hive mind
3:47 like a puppet master. So maybe when you
3:48 tap into the hive, you can pull the
3:49 strings, too. [music]
3:53 >> Except I'm not Vecna. You sort of are.
3:54 You're trying to say that I'm evil and
3:56 hellbent on destroying the world.
3:59 Totally. No, I'm just [music] saying
4:00 that, you know, you're like a wizard

4:04 True. In real life, you're more like a
4:07 sorcerer because your powers don't come
4:09 from a book of spells. They're innate. [music]

4:20 >> Sometimes people need someone to believe
4:22 in them
4:25 and they can do amazing things. How did
4:27 you know that Vicki wanted to make out
4:28 to date?
4:30 >> Oh, well, we volunteered together. You
4:32 know, they were like signals. >> Signals?
4:32 >> Signals?
4:34 >> Yeah. You know, like a brush of the
4:36 knee, a bump of the elbow, a shared look.
4:38 look.
4:40 It all just kind of occurred, like a
4:42 snowball rolling down a hill. And the
4:44 first time I watched volume 1, I had
4:46 very bad ber [music] doubt. But then I
4:48 watched it a second time and for some
4:50 reason, I was able to see things that I
4:52 didn't see before. like Robin's speech.
4:54 I initially took it how everyone else
4:56 did, but then I thought a moment and I
4:59 was like, well, no,
5:02 no. I think the general audience just
5:04 takes everything at face value. Again,
5:06 this show is more of a show than a tell.
5:08 The show's not going to tell us outright
5:10 what's going to happen. Most of the time
5:12 when they do do that, it is a misdirect.
5:14 Like I said in my last video, in season
5:16 3, Will says he's not going to fall in
5:18 love, and that's exactly what he does.
5:20 He falls in love with Mike. And the show
5:23 never tells that to us explicitly. It
5:26 shows us just like it did with Jonathan
