1:29 now storm Ain has blown away but it has
1:31 left Lots of damage behind now that was
1:33 because of that very rare red warning
1:35 yesterday some buildings have been
1:38 damaged around 100,000 people last night
1:40 were left without power so they're
1:43 hoping to be reconnected and all of the
1:45 trains in Scotland aren't running today
1:47 until at least lunchtime and that's
1:49 because of the rubbish that was blown
1:51 onto the railway lines as well as damage
1:53 that will need to be repaired so that
1:55 it's safe before people can travel again
1:58 on the lines so today it's all about
2:01 clearing things up but there's still bad
2:03 weather here but hopefully things will
2:05 get fixed soon well we've been keeping
2:07 in touch with children affected by the

2:22 means I can't use my phone to keep in
2:24 contact with my friends to see what
2:27 they're doing in this horrible weather
2:29 as well as the page one of the trees in
2:31 my back Garden have fallen and broken

2:44 from fees in the Scottish borders I
2:46 think the storm has got worse and I hope
2:48 it finishes soon our lights keep
2:50 flashing but we still have power in our
2:52 town but some houses near the
2:55 countryside have lost power local
2:57 companies have been working hard to get
2:59 rid of the trees off the road to make it

4:09 today first in the US Donald Trump took
4:11 over the role of president for the
4:13 second time he took the oath of office
4:15 during his inauguration which is a
4:18 special ceremony when a president is
4:20 sworn in his friends and family were
4:23 there as well as former President Joe
4:26 Biden for the first time in 40 years the
4:29 ceremony was held indoors due to the
4:31 freezing weather ever but supporters
4:34 still Brave the cold to witness Mr Trump
4:37 becoming the 47th president well one of
4:38 the first things on President Trump's
4:41 to-do list was to work out what to do
4:44 about Tik Tok last year politicians in
4:47 the US passed a law ordering the social
4:50 media apps Chinese owners to sell it to
4:53 a US company or face a ban over worries
4:56 that users data could be given to the
4:58 country that ban came into force on
5:01 Sunday and the apps owners responded by
5:04 turning it off completely so it stopped
5:07 working in the US now it's back on after
5:10 Mr Trump gave the company a 75-day
5:12 extension which he said would give Tik
5:15 Tok more time to find a US partner
5:18 finally the world's largest iceberg
5:20 which is twice the size of greater
5:22 London is on the move from Antarctica
5:24 it's heading for the remote British
5:27 island of South Georgia officially
5:30 called a23a it also happens to be one of
5:33 the world's oldest icebergs it's been
5:35 drifting since it broke away from
5:38 Antarctica in 1986 and experts are
5:40 worried it could block Coes on South
5:43 Georgia where King Penguins and seals go
5:46 to feed that's it consider yourself in the
5:47 the
5:49 know that's all from me and the team for
5:51 now but you can catch me over on bbc2
