0:08 hey what is up guys I'm back with
0:10 another vibe experience and this one is
0:14 called We Are Stars it's a a short story
0:15 experience where it takes you through
0:17 the evolution of the solar system the
0:20 universe Earth or molecules it's pretty
0:23 amazing it's see a 360 3D film this
0:25 would be cool to like show a family you
0:27 know friends you know maybe some kids
0:29 it's pretty mindblowing um so if you
0:32 check out the options you can change the
0:35 quality settings there's a Ultra which
0:39 is 4K 3D and 60 frames per second and
0:41 their standard
0:44 2.8k 3D 30 frames per second so all
0:46 right guys uh without further Ado let's
0:47 Dive Right [Music]
1:15 [Music]
1:17 keep in mind when you watch this with
1:19 the headset on you get the depth of
1:22 everything so those uh in the intro it
1:24 looked like it was actually coming
1:26 towards your [Music]
1:28 [Music] face
1:56 [Music]
2:01 roll up roll up everybody roll
2:04 come and see the mysteries of the
2:07 universe revealed before your very eyes
2:09 ladies and gentlemen now that I have
2:13 your attention have you ever wondered
2:15 what you are made
2:18 of many have you ever wondered where
2:24 from did you know that we are all made
2:31 apost let me show you how you are
2:34 connected to the history of our universe
2:36 and invite you all on a journey through
2:39 space and
2:41 time the time [Music]
2:51 tent All Aboard All Aboard ladies and
2:53 gentlemen boys and girls we are going to
2:55 find where everything came from we are
2:58 going to go back in time back to before
3:01 the earth was formed before the Stars
3:04 first sha back to the very beginning of
3:06 time Hold On
3:13 [Applause] [Music]
3:21 [Music]
3:25 T we have gone back in time 13.8 billion
3:28 years to the beginning of our universe
3:30 in the very first moment of time the
3:33 universe is almost impossibly hot and
3:36 crammed full of energy in one super hot
3:38 single point suddenly the universe
3:59 Bang within a millionth of a second the
4:02 universe is transformed into a dense
4:14 particles the expanding universe is now
4:18 3 minutes old and energy is condensing
4:20 forming the building blocks of our
4:48 the universe is now 380,000 years old
4:51 the particles called electrons have
4:53 slowed down and are beginning to be
4:56 attracted to the protons each electron
4:58 carries a negative
5:01 charge and each
5:12 charge their opposite charges balance
5:15 each other perfectly and they become the
5:18 most important couple in the history of
5:21 the universe the first [Music]
5:22 [Music] atom
5:31 hydrogen electrons are also caught by
5:34 pairs of protons and neutrons completing
5:38 the second most simple atom [Music]
5:46 helium the universe is now 500 million
5:48 years old and the hot energy soup has
5:52 calmed down to a cold Dark Cloud a fine
5:56 Haze of atom mostly hydrogen fills the
5:59 universe no galaxies no stars and no no
6:03 planets just atoms floating in space and
6:05 our story would end there but for the
6:08 invisible inescapable effects of gravity
6:12 oh and what's a gravity gravity is an
6:14 invisible force that pulls in every
6:18 direction from anything that has mass
6:21 atoms are really really small but each
6:24 one has a tiny amount of mass so every
6:26 atom's gravity is gently almost
6:29 imperceptibly pulling on every other
6:32 atom in the universe slowly but surely
6:35 throughout the Universe gravity begins
6:41 hyrien sort of makes you feel like
6:47 Matrix see the beginning of the universe the
6:48 the [Music]
6:58 [Music] Y
7:00 Y
7:02 as more and more atoms are gathered
7:05 together they form into gigantic
7:10 spinning clouds the first Proto [Music]
7:28 [Music] galaxies
7:34 as the galaxies take shape bright spots
7:38 appear deep inside these new lights
7:41 signal the birth of the first super massive
7:50 stars each star starts its life as a
7:54 giant ball of cold spinning hydrogen as
7:56 the spinning Cloud's gravity pulls in
7:59 the surrounding gas the ball begins to
8:03 grow and grow the more it grows the more
8:05 gravity it has and the more it pulls in on
8:06 on
8:09 itself the atoms in the core are
8:12 squeezed in Tighter and Tighter raising
8:16 their temperature to 10 million de
8:19 C the heat and pressure Force the nuclei
8:22 of the hydrogen atoms
8:30 energy
8:32 as the energy escapes from its surface
8:35 the star begins to [Music]
8:47 [Music] [Applause]
8:58 [Music] shine
9:01 shine [Music]
9:16 these first stars were huge much bigger
9:19 than modern stars like the sun this one
9:22 is so big it could swallow our entire solar
9:24 solar
9:27 system if you could cut the star in half
9:30 you'd see outer layers of hot hydrogen
9:34 plasma churning around a glowing core
9:36 the core is where almost all the heat is
9:40 generated by a reaction called nuclear
9:42 fusion nuclear fusion doesn't just make
9:46 the star shine something new is being
9:49 created deep [Music]
9:58 [Music] inside
10:01 inside [Music]
10:13 ladies and gentlemen For Your
10:16 Entertainment may I present a dramatic
10:18 demonstration representing the Wonders
10:22 and secrets of nuclear
10:25 fusion imagine we're in the core of the
10:27 star these balls represent the lone
10:30 protons from hydrogen nuclei and we are
10:32 going to show you how they fuse together
10:34 to form a new element called
10:37 helium the process starts with the
10:39 protons they're all trying to get away
10:40 from each other because their positive
10:42 charge forces them
10:45 apart however sometimes a proton will
10:50 lose its charge and transform into a
10:53 neutron neutrons have no charge so the
10:54 heat and pressure forces them to join
10:56 the closest
10:58 proton together they become a new
11:00 nucleus called a
11:03 duton the deuteron wanders around the
11:06 core but it is not long before it is hit
11:09 by one of the free protons the nucleus
11:12 grows again then the nucleus tumbles
11:13 around in the core until it meets
11:16 another nucleus and they are crushed
11:18 together two protons fly off back into
11:20 the core but the nucleus that remains
11:24 now has two protons and two neutrons the element
11:30 helium this process of fusing hydrogen
11:32 protons is happening over a trillion
11:48 [Applause]
11:52 second gradually the helium fills the
11:55 core helium you might expect that once
11:57 the core has turned all its hydrogen
12:00 into helium that it would stop
12:03 working but the element building has
12:06 only just begun welcome to the element
12:09 Factory as the hydrogen is used up the
12:12 core gets denser and hotter allowing the
12:14 helium nuclei to fuse into another
12:18 heavier element burum again the
12:20 temperature of the core Rises and The
12:22 burum begins to fuse with the helium
12:25 into carbon fusing carbon raises the
12:28 temperature of the core again under the
12:30 pressure the new elements start to fuse
12:32 with each other and with the hydrogen
12:35 hyrogen oxygen many of the elements we
12:37 know today are built in a star's core
12:39 core
12:53 alumi IR finally an element we call iron
12:55 is made but the nucleus of iron is so
12:58 stable that it can't fuse and so
13:00 temperature is no longer increased into
13:03 the core suddenly there is not enough
13:04 pressure from inside the star to balance
13:07 out the gravity pulling it in gravity
13:21 collapses crushing gravity slams the
13:23 atoms against each other with such Force
13:26 the star blows itself
13:40 supernovas complete the last stage in
13:42 the element building
13:46 process Within These giant explosions
13:49 heavier rarer elements are formed
13:52 zinc platinum and [Music]
14:07 [Music]
14:10 over billions of years the debris of
14:13 exploded Stars slowly collects together
14:17 into giant clouds still mostly hydrogen
14:20 but now peppered with a mix of heavier
14:30 nebuli this one is so B big that it
14:32 could contain our solar system hundreds
14:34 of billions of times
14:39 over deep inside these pillars something
14:41 is happening to the atoms they are
14:44 starting to reach out to each other and form
14:46 form
14:50 molecules excuse me excuse me mister yes
14:52 young lady what is a molecules good
15:00 look
15:03 these are some molecules found in a
15:07 nebula ooh molecules a molecule is a
15:09 group of atoms linked up together like
15:12 they're holding hands you have this
15:14 molecule in your body and it's found in
15:17 this nibula it's
15:20 water a water molecule is made by one
15:23 oxygen atom linking with two hydrogen
15:26 atoms you might recognize its chemical name
15:27 name H2O
15:30 H2O
15:32 another common molecule in a nebula is
15:34 carbon dioxide
15:38 CO2 made with one carbon atom and two
15:41 oxygen atoms your body produces carbon
15:44 dioxide and you breathe it out you all
15:46 make this molecule too except you don't
15:57 [Music]
16:00 called Thank you very much but all I was
16:04 after was the word methane you made a
16:07 methane Right Moving on when it comes to
16:10 atoms in your body carbon atoms are the
16:13 most important you see carbon can bond
16:16 with up to four different atoms at once
16:18 making it possible to create really
16:21 interesting molecules by linking it up
16:23 with atoms Like Oxygen hydrogen and
16:26 nitrogen carbon easily makes some
16:30 familiar molecules like sugar molecules
16:33 it is in fat molecules and a vital part
16:35 of protein
16:38 molecules unfortunately these molecules
16:41 are quite fragile and the radiation of
16:43 space easily breaks their bonds so we
16:46 need to build somewhere that's protected
16:49 and big enough to collect plenty of
16:51 molecules somewhere
17:01 planet this giant disc of gases
17:06 molecules metals and dust is our solar
17:11 system and at its Center is a very young
17:14 Sun Within These churning clouds gravity
17:16 is pulling these molecules into great
17:27 [Music] planets
17:37 [Music] [Applause]
17:42 [Applause] [Music]
18:11 this young planet is our
18:15 Earth already a billion years old for
18:18 over 100 million years leftover dust and
18:21 blocks of Frozen gases relentlessly
18:23 bombard the young
18:26 Planet each impact melting the surface
18:27 and filling the atmosphere with
18:32 molecules of carbon dioxide methane and
18:34 ammonia feels like when these particles
18:36 pass towards you look
18:39 like and the surface begins to
18:42 cool the steam in the atmosphere turns
18:51 rain it rains for thousands and
18:53 thousands of years eventually covering
18:57 the whole earth in
19:11 amazing under this ocean a new stage in
19:31 beginning water heated by the molten
19:33 rock of the Earth's mantle bursts
19:35 through vents in the Earth's crust
19:38 dissolving molecules along the way as it
19:41 meets the cool water of the ocean these
19:45 minerals are deposited forming
19:48 towers as the molecular mixture passes
19:50 through the mineral Rich Chambers they
19:53 start to form the molecules we call the
19:56 building blocks of
19:59 life perhaps it was inside a meent like
20:01 this following hundreds of millions of
20:03 years of chance interactions that
20:06 molecules formed the first life in the
20:28 cells under the ocean these first cells
20:29 use the ules and atoms from their
20:32 environment for energy and growth it
20:35 wasn't long before they began to make
20:38 copies of themselves suddenly there were
20:41 hundreds thousands millions trillions of
20:45 cells spreading throughout the oceans a
20:47 billion years of random mutation
20:49 resulted in a startling
20:52 Advance some cells began to use the
20:54 sun's energy to turn carbon dioxide and
20:59 water into sugar this superpower
21:02 photosynthesis let cells grow much more
21:06 quickly but a nasty surprise was in
21:10 store these new supercells released
21:12 oxygen and as this built up in the
21:16 atmosphere it changed our planet forever
21:18 highly reactive the oxygen poisoned a
21:21 huge number of cells causing a mass
21:25 extinction but some cells survived as
21:27 they replicated they filled the world
21:29 with cells able to tolerate or even use
21:34 this new gas and life sped
21:37 on some cells began to work together and
21:39 form groups until they had become the
21:41 first multi-celled
21:44 organisms over many many generations
21:47 their forms slowly changed some of the
21:50 original microscopic molecule factories
21:52 had evolved into simple
21:55 worms it wasn't long before the worms
21:59 evolved into primitive fish using iron
22:01 in blood cells to capture oxygen and
22:03 calcium to build bones the fish
22:08 continued to evolve and dominate the
22:11 oceans over time the molecules and atoms
22:13 are constantly being recycled and
22:15 modified as they pass from one living
22:19 thing to another above the water plants
22:21 and giant insects took over the
22:24 land but they were soon followed by fish
22:27 that had evolved the ability to crawl
22:29 out of the sea and to bre breathe the
22:31 oxygen rich
22:34 air these oxygen breathers evolved into
22:37 reptiles which became the
22:40 dinosaurs and for over 100 million years
22:43 dinosaurs dominated the Earth the
22:53 until the giant impact changed the
22:55 environment so rapidly that many forms
22:59 of life were unable to survive the age
23:03 of the dinosaurs came to an end but some
23:05 species did
23:08 survive with the Dinosaurs gone mammals
23:11 evolved to take their place as the new
23:12 top atom
23:14 organizers through the process of
23:16 natural selection they adapted to new
23:19 habitats a species died off and new ones
23:21 flourished a tree of life mapped out to
23:24 the generations then millions of years
23:26 later on a distant branch of the family
23:28 tree there grew a new branch of of
23:31 mammals the
23:34 Apes many many generations later on a
23:36 twig from this Branch there stood some
23:39 very strange Apes these Apes were
23:41 strange because their atoms had formed
23:43 brains that didn't just think simple
23:45 thoughts like I'm hungry but complex
23:48 ones like what are we made of and where
23:51 did it all come from they have been
23:57 since we have discovered that we are
24:00 made of a atoms and these atoms are on a
24:03 journey as old as the universe before
24:05 they became part of you they were in
24:07 animals plants and in the air they were
24:10 once in dinosaurs in primitive fish and
24:13 made up the very first cells cells
24:14 assembled from molecules containing
24:17 atoms that first arrived on Earth as
24:18 comets and
24:20 asteroids born within the clouds of
24:23 giant nebuli containing complex atoms
24:26 delivered by exploding Stars atoms that
24:28 had been fused by gravity deep in the
24:30 core of the
24:33 stars stars that were formed from giant
24:36 clouds of hydrogen the same hydrogen
24:38 that was the first relationship between
24:41 a proton and an
24:45 electron but it all started when energy
24:47 came together to form matter after the
24:59 point
25:02 roll up for the greatest show in the
25:04 universe that was pretty
25:14 [Music] [Applause]
25:15 [Applause] [Music]
25:23 bline we have gone on a journey to
25:25 discover what we are made of and where
25:28 it all came from we have seen how the at
25:30 atoms in our bodies hold within them the
25:34 history of the universe every Atom from
25:37 the iron in our blood and the calcium in
25:40 our bones to the oxygen we breathe they
25:43 all once Came From A Distant point of
25:47 light so the next time when you look out
25:50 at the night sky remember where your
25:52 atoms started their
25:59 Stars [Music]
26:07 [Music]
26:10 so yeah guys that is a We Are Stars
26:12 seems like it's inspired from you know
26:14 uh Carl Sean taking on the idea that we
26:16 are Stardust you know where else could
26:18 we have been from the universe provides
26:21 the ingredients of our existence this
26:23 gives you like a really good visual to
26:25 see it in process it's pretty mind
26:26 blowing you get the scale you can see a
26:30 molecule up close and 3D and super uh
26:32 visual so it's pretty good uh experience
26:35 I loved it super epic super dope and
26:37 yeah um that was VR starters thank you
26:39 guys for watching if you guys enjoyed
26:40 this video feel free to like And
26:44 subscribe and until next time [Music]
26:50 [Music] peace
