0:19 this Kohl's home desk firstly there are
0:22 no like those gamer desks which just
0:25 look awful in my opinion they're very
0:27 ugly they're way overpriced and usually
0:29 most of them are actually just really
0:31 bad quality but this Kohl's home desk
0:33 super reasonable price the design and
0:35 build quality here is exactly what you'd
0:38 expect for the price it uses fairly thin
0:40 Square metal tubing for the structure
0:43 with metal crossbar cables on the back
0:44 side which I did check if you actually
0:46 needed for the structure or if it was
0:48 just there for the look and you
0:49 absolutely do need them for the
0:51 structure so if you don't like that look
0:53 you cannot remove them as far as looks
0:56 it's clean and minimal and ready for
0:58 some gamery setup the build quality is
1:00 solid for the price but it does have
1:02 some shortcomings the table top is about
1:06 19 and 3 4 inches deep which isn't a
1:08 crazy depth so fitting larger monitors
1:10 may take a little bit more work that
1:12 depth is something that we do definitely
1:15 want with a gaming setup but obviously
1:18 well Beggars can't be choosers so if you
1:20 do want more depth you will have to bump
1:21 it up in price but don't worry there's
1:23 plenty on the list that well do have the
1:25 best depth speaking of that let's talk
1:27 about the size and color options here
1:28 there is a massive amount you have a
1:34 choice between 32 39 47 55 and 63 inch
1:36 sizes although I think the best value is
1:40 either the 39 or the 47 inch desk sizes
1:41 if you do want to bump it up to a larger
1:43 size desk well I would recommend some of
1:45 the other ones on this list as I think
1:48 through a better value but the 47 like I
1:50 have I think it's a really good value
1:52 now as for the colors you have a choice
1:55 between black white black on white brown
1:57 wood gray wood vintage wood and walnut
2:00 wood the woods I mean you can get item
2:01 but obviously they're very fake looking
2:04 wood not a big fan of those but all the
2:06 Black and Whites just look great and
2:08 obviously that's more a gamery thing
2:11 style right as far as ease of build it's
2:14 just as easy as it comes it's you know
2:16 there's not very many parts within five
2:17 minutes with a drill you're pretty much
2:20 done no problems directions are clear no
2:22 problems at all super easy to set it up
2:24 overall if you need a smaller No Frills
2:27 desk that manages good durability and
2:28 build quality on a super tight budget
2:31 this is a great pick however if you do
2:32 want something with more Flair or more
2:34 beefy build quality well then keep
2:35 watching because that's what we're going
2:37 to talk about so moving on to the number
2:39 four spot this is a desk from Green
2:41 Forest coming in at a price tag of
2:45 99.99 the design here is very attractive
2:48 with dual shelves on the right side for
2:50 built-in storage it's a very classic
2:53 looking desk which is a compliment one
2:55 of the designs slash build quality
2:57 choices here that I really really like
3:00 is the use of metal tubing here but but
3:01 instead of it being square like the
3:04 previous desk it is actually rectangular
3:06 adding to the rigidity and overall
3:09 attractive look over the desk one of the
3:10 many benefits of this design is that
3:12 adding RGB strips to the rear of the
3:15 desk is very very easy something that on
3:17 the previous desk wasn't quite as easy
3:19 to do now the desktop is a solid piece
3:21 that has a slight wood texture to it now
3:23 well this is just a standard desktop
3:25 width it's not incredibly thick but the
3:28 price does reflect that however they do
3:31 not cheap out on the depth here which is
3:33 incredibly important for having enough
3:35 space for your gaming setup your monitor
3:37 all your accessories like that maybe you
3:39 have a large style gaming desk mat
3:41 obviously if you're on a super tight
3:42 budget maybe that's not something that
3:44 you can always do or if you have a
3:46 modern arm maybe that alleviates it so
3:48 the previous desk was that option but if
3:49 you do want to bump it over price well
3:51 the depth gets better here coming in at
3:54 23 and a half inches that is a great
3:57 depth for the price as for the extras we
3:58 have already talked about the shelves
4:01 here they're great and I really enjoyed
4:02 having them not to mention that they
4:05 also look nice this also comes with a
4:07 clamp on monitorizer or Riser thingy
4:09 that you can go anywhere really on the
4:11 desk no I don't really prefer that I
4:13 chose not to keep it on the desk but you
4:15 know if you do have a monitor that's not
4:17 height adjustable and well you do want a
4:19 riser or just to put something on it
4:21 well you have it it's an extra now for
4:23 the size and color options here they are
4:25 great but with thin asterisk this comes
4:29 in either 39 47 or 55 inch length
4:32 variants I obviously did get that 55
4:35 inch however I really only recommend the
4:38 55 inch maybe the 47 but pretty much
4:41 just the 55 inch now this is because the
4:43 width actually changes substantially
4:46 with each length while the price barely
4:50 changes at all so the best value here is
4:52 by far the 55 inch for the colors you
4:54 have a choice between white black gray
4:57 or walnut wood which obviously looks
4:59 amazingly good that Walnut Wood is just
5:01 no it doesn't look great but that's up
5:03 to you whatever you want to do for your
5:05 gaming desk now as far as ease of built
5:07 here this was a breeze uh within 10
5:09 minutes I was done obviously there's a
5:11 little bit more because there's well the
5:13 Shelf but honestly not very many parts
5:16 with a drill it was 10 minutes one
5:17 person it was just me making it so
5:20 totally fine super easy to make super
5:22 easy to install no problems overall if
5:25 you want a great looking 55-inch desk
5:27 that doesn't break the bank has a little
5:29 bit of flare with the shelves you cannot
5:31 go wrong with this green for his desk
5:33 but with that let's move on to the
5:35 number three spot which again comes from
5:38 Cole's home but now is in L-shaped desk
5:40 coming in at a price tag of
5:44 169.99 if you guys do want a L-shaped
5:46 desk I think this is probably the best
5:48 one you get on a budget because L-shaped
5:49 desks get expensive they're more
5:51 expensive to make ship and designed to
5:54 be durable so finding one on a budget is
5:55 not an easy task but I think this Kohl's
5:57 home one is the best that you can find
5:59 without increasing your budget over 300
6:01 hundred dollars now this L-shaped desk
6:04 looks great one side measures a little
6:06 over 47 inches with the other side
6:09 measuring at 28.5 inches and that is the
6:10 inside length you're going to have a lot
6:11 of different measurements that you're
6:13 going to see on Amazon on their listing
6:15 but those are the inside links so this
6:17 is the length part and then you get some
6:19 extra over here on the left or the right
6:20 depending on how you build it there's
6:22 also features an angular cutout for the
6:24 corner which I came up with a genius
6:27 invention of putting a Govi Lira RGB
6:28 lamp in that space making this look like
6:31 a freaking spaceship I mean guys tell me
6:33 below but I think it looks pretty
6:35 awesome with that lamp there build
6:36 quality here is actually really really
6:39 good L-shaped desks typically struggle
6:41 here as many of them can have a lot of
6:43 like wobbliness the frame is made out of
6:45 plenty of strong metal Square tubes or
6:48 tubing Square middle tubing there's
6:50 plenty of reinforcement and once built
6:52 this actually is very very stable with
6:54 no wobbliness at all the desktop here
6:55 has a wood texture to the top and a
6:57 slightly thicker than your average desk
6:59 thickness now the desktop itself
7:01 obviously does come in two parts which
7:03 isn't too big of a deal as the seam is
7:05 in a non-intrusive place the only con
7:06 here is that the depth of this desk
7:09 isn't the best at about 19 inches so
7:11 similar to the first Kohl's home one
7:13 maybe they're into that depth but the
7:15 thing that I would recommend with this
7:16 is if you do want to do an L-shaped desk
7:18 this isn't really a problem if you're
7:20 buying a monitor arm as you can see with
7:22 well the setup that I did with this desk
7:24 once having a modern arm this allows you
7:26 to have much bigger extra large mouse
7:27 pads and basically gives you enough of
7:30 that depth so I recommend this one if
7:31 you're going to buy a modern arm I'll
7:34 also link one below that I have in the
7:36 video it's like only like 35 bucks or
7:37 something like that so definitely
7:39 something to consider with this L-shaped
7:41 desk now there are some cool quirks with
7:43 this desk a dual level shelf allows for
7:44 things to be placed on the top shelf
7:46 maybe like a VR headset a set of
7:49 controllers and on the lower shelf this
7:51 can actually fit a PC which is so
7:53 awesome this base is actually large
7:55 enough to fit many ATX cases if they
7:57 aren't too tall shelf measures in at
7:59 about 18.5 inches tall so that's how
8:01 much space you'll have for PC cases
8:04 about half of the ATX cases that I had
8:06 in that room was about seven cases I
8:08 tried them out about half of them fit
8:09 just check if you have that height there
8:12 and the width should be okay but I'll
8:14 put it on screen right here that's the
8:16 width additionally on the opposite side
8:17 there was a color matched panel with
8:19 hooks where you can hang things such as
8:21 cables or maybe headphones but they're
8:23 fairly thin little hooks there but
8:25 honestly I'm thinking well cables and
8:27 things like that great VR desk I mean
8:31 this awesome VR desk to have your main
8:33 PC set up and then on that left side VR
8:35 okay I don't know it just it just fits
8:37 in my head for size and color options
8:39 this comes in what they call the 60
8:42 cents inch variant and then the 59 inch
8:44 variant now I have the 66 inch variant
8:47 and don't get the 59 inch I would not
8:49 recommend the 59 inches it would be way
8:52 too small I would say this is 66 inches
8:55 or 66 inches is definitely what I would
8:57 like start at also the 59 doesn't seem
8:58 to be that much less than this so
9:00 there's not really a reason to do that
9:01 for color options you have a choice
9:04 between white black gray Oak and vintage
9:06 wood now as far as ease of build
9:08 obviously being an L-shaped desk there
9:10 is a lot more pieces than the other
9:14 desks on this list so doing this by
9:16 myself took me about 30 minutes but
9:17 that's completely by myself if you had
9:20 another person with you you think maybe
9:22 15 minutes with a drill the instructions
9:24 were clear I was never left confused it
9:27 was a very stress-free installation but
9:29 obviously a little bit harder as one
9:31 person to hold those things not
9:32 impossible again it only took me 30
9:34 minutes and I was very relaxed doing it
9:36 but obviously L-shaped desks are going
9:38 to take longer to build overall if you
9:40 must have an L-shaped desk but don't
9:41 want to break the bank get yourself a
9:43 monitor arm and this is the best
9:45 L-shaped desk you can get for the money
9:47 but with that let's move on to the
9:49 number two spot and this is the flexi
9:52 spawn en1 standing desk coming in at a
9:54 price tag of
9:57 299.99 this is the only standing desk on
9:59 the list I wanted to include a standing
10:02 desk and this well this is by far the
10:04 best standing desk for the price the
10:06 design is a standing desk and by that I
10:08 mean that as a compliment it's clean it
10:11 has wide flat legs for stability which
10:13 actually look really good rectangular
10:15 single metal beams on the left and right
10:18 very very solid those metal beams are
10:20 just asking for RGB and you might think
10:22 well putting RGB strips on a standing
10:23 desk doesn't seem like it would make
10:26 sense on the legs but those metal legs
10:28 actually are attached to the upper end
10:31 so the lower end is the inside if that's
10:33 confusing you it just means you can put
10:35 rgbs going down the leg and have it
10:36 still rise up and down with no problems
10:40 that is a huge Pro I mean just think
10:42 about how sick that will look as an RGB
10:45 gaming setup yes no the overall
10:47 construction is a ton of thick metal
10:49 except for obviously the table top
10:51 itself but this thing is solid with a
10:54 capital S now the table top itself is a
10:56 nice and thick and just solid surface
10:58 with no texture on it and I absolutely
11:01 love it this is the best quality table
11:03 top on the list textures are great and
11:05 everything but the cleanness of this
11:07 desktop is just very very nice and
11:09 typically only found on more expensive
11:10 desks however one of the biggest
11:12 advantages to this desktop is the
11:15 massive depth here even though I got the
11:19 48 inch variant this is 30 inches deep
11:21 that keeps this from feeling anything
11:24 like a small desk large monitors with
11:26 large stands are absolutely no problem
11:29 here RGB accessories plants headphone
11:31 stands huge desk mats these are all
11:33 things that can easily fit on the desk
11:36 with no problem that depth is everything
11:38 guys now for the max height this goes
11:40 from a low of 29 inches which is pretty
11:42 much your standard desk height and then
11:44 it goes all the way up to about 48.5
11:47 inches I'm five eight and a half and
11:49 this was at the highest setting way too
11:51 tall for me even if you're like six five
11:53 it's going to be perfect um so I
11:54 wouldn't really worry about your height
11:57 I know that 48.5 inches doesn't sound
11:58 really tall but trust me it's like up
12:01 here when I'm when I'm standing so do
12:02 remember that your arms come all the way
12:04 down when you type if you're like seven
12:06 foot which I don't think many people are
12:07 seven foot I think it's only like 2 800
12:09 people in the world then maybe this
12:11 would be too low but if you're not
12:13 you're gonna be okay size and color
12:16 options here are obese with a plethora
12:18 of size options starting off with the
12:21 sizes at 40 by 24 inches and again what
12:24 I'm saying buy I do mean that depth that
12:26 is important guys the size that I got is
12:29 the next up the 48 by 30 and the 48 is
12:32 the deepest variant I love that depth 55
12:35 by 28 which is also probably the that's
12:37 probably the prime if I was going to get
12:39 a main workstation 55 by 28
12:42 that would be awesome and then 60 by 24.
12:44 now again 24 is a really nice depth
12:47 that's plenty of depth the 30 is way
12:49 Overkill but it's really nice to have in
12:51 that smaller form factor now personally
12:54 I think the best option here is maybe
12:57 the 55 by 28 and then the 48 by 30 I
12:59 mean the 30 inches is great uh put that
13:01 55 inch with the extra length and the
13:03 depth yes yes yes yes flexi spot got
13:05 this so right with the depth here now
13:07 for the ease of build I know a lot of
13:08 you might be a little bit scared because
13:10 of the ease of build here but this is
13:12 actually in a way a little bit easier
13:14 because you're using bolts on metal
13:17 rather than bolts on tubing which is a
13:18 little bit different so it's actually
13:21 kind of easier to build this one of the
13:22 biggest Praises I'm going to give in
13:25 this video is that flexi spot does their
13:28 instructions unbelievably well like this
13:30 is Lego level quality of good
13:33 instructions no problem following this
13:35 everything's labeled it's totally a
13:37 breeze it took me 15 minutes by myself
13:39 to make this which yes you can make the
13:41 stand desk by yourself even though it's
13:43 very heavy one thing I will say that
13:45 wasn't mentioned very clearly on the
13:47 instructions but well you're seeing it
13:49 right now once you build this hold the
13:51 down arrow to make this go all the way
13:53 down and then keep holding it and it
13:54 will kind of lower and bump right back
13:56 up and that resets it make sure both
13:59 legs are perfectly leveled so yeah
14:01 there's a little tip overall the flexi
14:04 spot en1 is by far the best value per
14:06 dollar standing desk you can buy while
14:08 the competition may be cheaper they
14:09 cheap out on the desktop almost always
14:12 being two or more pieces with ugly seams
14:14 not to mention cheaping out on the motor
14:17 flexi spot doesn't do any of this and
14:19 honestly the extremely high quality
14:22 desktop wins me over every time but with
14:24 that let's move on to the number one
14:26 best gaming desk you can buy I have been
14:29 asked a thousand times what this desk is
14:32 and that is the tribe signs desk coming
14:34 at a price tag of
14:38 176.99 for the 63 inch of variant this
14:39 is the desk that I've been using for the
14:42 longest I've bought four of these desks
14:45 in all different sizes shapes and colors
14:47 so the design what is it well it's
14:49 beautifully modern and simple it's very
14:51 very tasteful one of the things I
14:53 absolutely love about this is the thick
14:57 desktop and the thick metal legs not
14:59 only does this make the look of the desk
15:01 awesome for gaming setups office setups
15:03 pretty much any kind of setup it really
15:05 fits everything but it makes it
15:08 significantly easier to Cable manage and
15:10 hide those cables for a very clean setup
15:12 not to mention the thickness of the desk
15:14 allows for RGB strips to be installed
15:17 super easily and when they are they look
15:19 epic I've done RGB strips just on the
15:22 back of the desk and then RGB strips
15:23 going on the back of the desk and then
15:25 up and down those legs which looks
15:28 absolutely gamery dude all right but
15:29 let's talk about the actual build
15:32 quality here it is ridiculously solid I
15:34 don't know if you can see on camera how
15:36 much different the size of those huge
15:38 metal tubes are versus the other desks
15:40 but this is the serious best I have ever
15:43 gotten online besides standing desks and
15:44 because of that I've actually bought
15:47 well like I said four of them the metal
15:49 legs are incredibly thick and even
15:51 without a crossbar it doesn't need it as
15:53 this does not wobble shake or in any way
15:56 feel cheap or chintzy now one of the
15:57 biggest things about this desk is not
15:59 just the length size but the depth here
16:01 well you guys know how much I've been
16:03 talking about depth three points of
16:04 depth is great here
16:08 23.6 inches basically 24 inches plenty
16:10 of space for big monitors big monitor
16:12 stands as well as your XL gaming pads
16:14 now one last thing is this does have
16:17 screw adjustable legs like most desks
16:19 honestly but these are quite wide which
16:20 is nice for that stability so you can
16:22 adjust it with your floor now the
16:23 desktop does have that wood kind of
16:26 texture like basically all of these do
16:28 except for the flexi spot which is nice
16:29 I think it looks nice and it's not
16:31 intrusive and it looks pretty good it
16:33 doesn't look fake now the size and color
16:35 options are immense here firstly for the
16:37 size you can get this in 47 inches 55
16:40 inches and 63 inches for the color
16:42 options you have black white on black
16:44 and that is with black legs a brown wood
16:47 top a walnut top on black legs or white
16:49 legs white on white which is one of my
16:51 personal favorites looking so space
16:54 Shippy and then white on gold legs for
16:57 all of the Glam girls out there men can
16:59 get it too but I mean I just feel like
17:01 that's like very like Target and I mean
17:03 Target like the store like that should
17:04 be in Target that's what it looks like
17:06 all right ease of build this is by far
17:07 the easiest to build on the list yes
17:09 even when compared to the first desk
17:12 this is the easiest reason being is that
17:13 the metal frame comes pre-attached to
17:15 that desktop which means literally you
17:17 get it out you put those legs in screw
17:19 them in screw to crossbar the legs in
17:21 and you're done that's it that's
17:23 literally it now one of the benefits
17:24 here is that because you don't have to
17:26 take a lot apart if you move a lot which
17:29 I've actually moved three different
17:31 times with these desks taking them apart
17:33 re-put them together taking them apart
17:36 and re-put them together and I think one
17:37 more time with a few of them just
17:39 because I stored them and then took them
17:42 out of storage they don't break they
17:43 don't have any issues the durability
17:46 here is ridiculously good that desktop
17:48 is nice and thick and those metal legs
17:49 well what's going to happen to them
17:51 overall this is not only the best
17:53 quality desk you can buy online but it
17:55 looks amazing it feels amazing and it
17:58 has tons of color and size options and
17:59 because of the durability this will last
