out in the previous video I wandered
through the gray and gloomy CN
Countryside capturing the little rays of
sunshine that came out here and there in
the form of friendly villagers and cute
murals in this video I'll be starting
from the Villages at the foot of this
mountain and heading all the way to the
city center of Canan sharing with you
various little encounters and
interesting experiences all along the
way check out this view okay I know
there's kind of an ugly fence in the way
but other than that what a view y'all a
beautiful Creek down there mountains in
the background and my favorite animal
on the other end of the spectrum a few
minutes later I encountered this
gentleman who has very high expectations
high I want to know why so many people
in China think that Healthcare in the us
is free it is the exact opposite of free
it is expensive to the point of [Music]

insanity I can't believe it y'all I
actually found some food in this little
village I was just going to like eat
raisins all day long I brought raisins
and I brought spicy bamboo those are my
little snacks but I can't believe that I
actually found some food here so this
grandma is running a little Homestay
restaurant thing she's got her yard all
decked out super cute this is not really
the time when people would come to visit
places like this cuz it's too cold so
I'm like the only one here we got the
little privacy screen painting thingy
here some decorative corn cobs for
aesthetic purposes also love this cute
little Fountain 1 2 3 4 really chunky
koi in here while the food is being
prepared let's head up and check out the
balcony so here we have this cage full of
of
corn some pons drying on a string and
whatever the heck this is I've never
seen a fruit like this ever it's like a
fruit and a flower all in one they're
really weird looking but super cool I
didn't see another one of these alien
fruit flower things for the entire
higher rest of my trip but the corn cob
and pmen combination is signature autumn
in Sian those two things are everywhere
perries are one of my favorite parts of
fall scenery in Sian because they're so
striking and so weird looking I'm not a
fan of the taste which is kind of like a
super sweet tomato but love the
aesthetic anyway I digress my noodles
are ready I see them on the table
through the thick screen of vines [Music]
Chinese American restaurants instilled
in me this love of soy sauce and then
now I come to China and realize like you
know people actually are not as obsessed
with soy sauce as I am I love soy sauce
I order fried rice and put soy sauce in
it dumplings soy sauce noodles soy sauce
I put it in everything but a lot of
[Applause] [Music]
go the village I was in yesterday had a
rural revitalization theme to the wall
murals and this one's theme seems to be
famous movies I've seen Tangled on some walls
walls
Titanic whatever that is I love this

I hear the slightest little bit of
commotion going on up ahead so it looks
like there's a little market oh my gosh
I'm so excited I love
markets there is a teeny tiny Farmers
Market Happening Here on the side of
this road some farmers markets the
person selling it isn't necessarily the
person who grew it this is one of those
like really Farmers markety farmers
markets and I love how they've bundled
up all of the cimons into a little grape
Bunch looking thing it's so cute [Music]

let me tell yall it is a rare thing to
find someone who is that enthusiastic
about the US in this day and age
apparently I am actually not the first
American dis SKU encountered he was like
I have to show you photo of me with an
American so he's like looking through
this guy is selling an interesting
selection of wooden items some of which
are for hitting yourself and some of
it's definitely a bit up to
interpretation but very interesting
nevertheless let me show you guys my personal
favorite this friendly uncle was the
highlight of my visit to this cute

all of CN is yellow except for the most

amid all of the Little Mountain Villages
there actually are a couple of new
developments so if you guys are curious
what the next generation of Rural Life
will look like here in Tennessee I guess
it will look like this
some of them are little three or four
story apartment buildings and some of
them are like traditional rural houses
but just newer and nicer super [Music]

on Rural China is all about redu use
recycle this for example is somebody's
wedding backdrop which is now being used
to protect old corn stocks from the rain

Chinese who the heck is trying to drive
a car through this I can barely walk
through this Market someone's trying to
drive a car through it [Laughter]
this Market is literally so packed that
there is not space to sell things on
either side anymore and a third aisle
has formed through the middle [Music]

as if it wasn't crazy enough to try and
drive through this thing we now have
someone who is reversing through this
thing these two cars have met head
to-head in this alley and one of them is
going to have to back all the way up
through this
crowd that's [Music]
crazy man I love me a good Market [Music]

like for you and then stopped and gave
me this
little whey protein powder thingy [Music]
