In this video, I'm going to be breaking
down how you can actually go pro in
Chapter 7, Season 2 and start making
your first real money from this game. As
most of you guys know, I'm an FNCS
champion with over $700,000 earned. And
after 7 years competing at the highest
level, I want to use what I've learned
to help you take that first step towards
going pro this season. I asked you guys
across all my socials what questions you
guys had about going pro, making money,
improving, and what actually matters if
you want to compete at the next level.
So throughout this video, I'm going to
be answering those questions and
breaking down everything in a way that
actually makes sense. And with all the
opportunities to earn in Chapter 7,
Season 2, there's never been a better
time to start grinding. So if you're
serious about going pro, drop a like,
subscribe, and let's get right into the
questions. First question I have is
what's a good starter tournament? The
best way to answer this question is that
best starter tournament is I would say a
victory cash cup, solar victory cash is
where you first understand how to play
alone and understand that you have to
ideal yourself. You have to find a drop
spot. You have to do things for yourself
as you're playing solos, but also it's
easier to qualify because it's not top
50 in a finals lobby. You're in a top a
thousand situation, top 2,000 situation
if you are on the EU and of course so on
for other regions. And it's easier for
you to qualify and basically learn a lot
from that tournament. So I would say
good starting tournament solar victory
cashs. Second question, do you think
that zip lines can be used smartly in
comp? I personally think that zip lines
are not going to be useful at all in
this season. In endgame or mid game, I
think maybe early game where you just
want to loot faster, you get the gun,
you shoot it, and then you hit it just
to go to loot your your POI faster. I
would say that's like kind of the only
situation to use it. But if I do see
someone use a zipline in game, you're
probably going to get 200 out of the
sky. Next question. How can I improve
and make the right calls as an IGL to
lead my frag to success, especially have
good awareness? So, the thing with all
just just practicing, right? and rinse
and repeating like scrims. You have to
play scrims. You cannot get better at
iging if you don't understand your
mistakes in your scrim games to actually
apply that in a real tournament. So in
the season, I thinking is super
important and having good awareness is
something that you just have to practice
and understand to get over time as you
understand that as you keep playing. So
just keep practicing grindy scrims and
bot reviewing and you'll understand what
to do in situations if you keep playing
them in scrims. Right. Next question. Do
you have a strategy when you play out
end games other than rotating early and
looking for refreshes? A lot of the time
endame feels like a huge free-for-all.
Should it feel this way or what can you
control it? I mean, it's really easy to
control end games if you know what
you're going to be doing on what zone,
right? And how to be pulling, right? Cuz
sometimes you pull zone, sometimes you
don't, right? And it's like the
situation that you put yourself in
beforehand, right? Like you have the
rotation items to be able to rotate
early. Do you have the items or mats?
Right? If you don't have mats, you have
to look for a refresh. If you have mats,
you don't have to look for a refresh and
you could be one of the teams staying
front looking back for all these kids
jumping in on each other, right? There's
a way of like controlling yourself just
having the right resources, right? It's
probably a free-for-all. You probably
think that way because you don't have
mats. You don't have rotation. You're
not going to end game stack. You need to
be more stacked. You need to understand
how to play midame better if anything to
get into a better endame scenario to be
able to play like the pros. And another
thing is just you just watch Invad Pro
players in endgame and see how they win
these games, what decisions they make in
the end game to, you know what I'm
saying, to get better. So next question,
how to fight on high ping. So I get this
question a lot about how to fight on
high ping. And I think high ping is
something where like there's so much
that you can't control, right? Like
getting shot through builds, holding a
wall. And I think fighting on high ping,
I think the best answer is just just
don't don't try to fight. And of course,
if you are forced in a situation to
fight, this meta especially is a gunout
meta, right? If you have your gun out
with the Jawa shotgun, you can literally
just hit someone for 150. Like, don't
try to play for peace. Don't try to play
for a wall play, right? If anything, you
play super defensive. So, if they fight
you, you get to get the damage first
back, right? Like, if you edit on them,
take good angles, right? I think that's
the best way to fight on I ping is just
playing defense and letting the other
opponent make the mistake. Next
question. What should we pay attention
to when we're looking for a duo? I think
paying attention for duos, these are the
most three important things, right? Are
you the IGL? Are you the fragger? If
you're a fragger, want to play with
someone that's a good IGL, right? And of
course, someone that has good vibes,
good energy, someone that has good
communications also and also that's
someone that's actually good at the
game, right? At the end of the day, if
you care about all that stuff that will
make you and you guys are willing both
of you guys to grind and learn together,
you'll be fine. But if you guys just
genuinely just play tournaments, don't
talk to each other, don't try to learn
how are you going to get better, how are
you going to get like how you going to
become a better player, a duo, right?
You have to learn together. You have to
do things together. You have to make
mistakes together, right? And that will
make you like you find a teammate like
knowing if someone's like has those like
components on them, right? That could
just take criticism. Well, want to
learn, right? Those is what that is what
you should be looking for in a dual.
Next question. How am I able to drop 19
and 24 kills in ranked, but I can't
fight all in tournaments. So, in ranked,
I would say the games are just not
anything close to tournaments, right?
Like ranked, you could just do whatever
you want. Tournaments, people are
playing differently. People want to
actually people are playing like their
life's on the line, right? Because it's
a tournament. Like they're not playing
like it's ranked. If anything, you
should just genuinely be trying to fight
in tournaments and understand what
you're doing wrong in these tournaments,
right? Like in these rank games, are you
getting third party? Are you just out in
the open and these kids are way worse
than the players in tournaments, right?
Then you're just not fighting on the
right skill level. You need to just be
taking ranked as like kind of a warm-up
and then actually trying to apply
different things also in creative
against but better players and try to
take that into tournaments. If you want
to compete at the highest Fortnite level
just like me, staying healthy actually
matters way more than people actually
think. One of the biggest things is
eating before tournaments. If I queue
into scrims or FNCS without eating
first, I can literally feel the
difference in my focus and gameplay.
When you're grinding for hours or
playing a six game tournament set, you
need the energy to stay locked in.
That's why I started using HelloFresh.
They send fresh pre-portioned
ingredients and easy step-by-step
recipes straight to your door, so you
can cook real home-cooked meals without
wasting time grocery shopping or
planning everything yourself. It's
honestly perfect while you're grinding
all day, but you want to eat something
healthy and quick to make. HelloFresh is
also America's number one meal kit. And
right now they're running a limited time
offer where you get 10 free meals and
free breakfast for life. Just click my
link down below and use my code before
the deal is gone. Next question. What is
the best way to get high ground in this
meta? I think high ground on this meta
is something where you have to hold the
fist. Like the nitro fist, you have to
hold it and you just need to be the ones
to kind of hold it on half, right? I
think players on half and half that have
it end up typically winning the game
with the fist just because you camp out
a fall damage and sky basing is kind of
like the best way to hold height this
this meta. So I think taking it from
half is really really important this
season. Next question is what heal
should I mostly carry? I think I mean
this is the most updated right now. They
just added slap pizza to the game. Chug splashes
splashes
and chug jug. Right. So I think chug
jug, chug splashes, slap pizza. These
are the best three heals to hold. Of
course if you can't find venomous hold
them as well.
Next question. How do you play when the
moving zones only pull through old
builds? I've died to this a couple of
times. So, it breaks through old builds.
What you need to be doing is being one
of the first teams to go front and
breaking through all the old builds
together. Like you and your dual need to
be blocking your back, breaking through,
try to make your own layer. You just
have to make sure you get out of that
situation to make your own boxes, but of
course, push through. Next question. How
to rotate with new grenades. Is it
better to go and use it as shocks or use
it in a finish? I personally think I've
had better luck and better rotations
using the sprint. I think using it as a
shock makes it really like so
unpredictable where you could just get
200 out the sky. I think throwing it
down and using it with the sprint item
allows you to just control your game
better if that makes sense. So I think
sprint item is really better with the
shocks. That's not how to pass the
division that you how to get the pass.
The division that gives you zero points
when you eliminate someone. You have to
win every game. try to play for a
perfect end game. Try to of course you
can't always win every game with zero
kills. But if you just play the end game
perfectly where you play end game every
single game in end game you stay front.
Of course when you look for refreshes to
allow you to stay front and just play
low ground and try to win every game or
play height. It's one or the other. Just
try to force yourself in a situation
where you have height or low ground.
Right. Next question. How to reset your
mental after unlocking bad game. How to
reset your mental. That's something that
I cannot help you with. Resetting your
mental is something you need to work on,
right? Like why are you so mad about
that game? Did you sell your teammates?
So who cares? Like get into the next
game. Be great in the next game. Stop
crying about the last game. Like that
just makes you just such a like person
that just like nobody wants to see. You
know what I'm saying? Like your own
mental that's your own battle. If you
can't fix that, no one can help you,
right? But to reset it, just literally
do great the next game. Like why do you
care about the last game that happened?
learn from it. Get it to the next game.
There's always going to be another
tournament. Fix it.
Next question. What do you look for when
finding a new drop? I think the best
things to look for when looking for a
new drop is mats. How fast you can get
them. If there's good wood, brick, and
metal, the loot, how good the loot is
there, how good the um positioning is,
right? If your edge map, if you're stuck
on a bad spot, it's not going to be as
good as you think as like kind of a mid
middle map spot, right? And then of
course um last thing is like what items
can you get from this drop? Is it a
mythic spot? If is it not right? And
that's kind of what I look for. Next
question. Do you think playing heavy
storm will be a viable strategy without
movement items? No. If you don't have
heavy if you don't have good movement
items or you have no way of getting out
of zone, there's genuinely no way you
can play zone because you will die to to
storm or you'll come out and you're just
going to die. So make sure you have good
movement items and you have strategy if
you're going to play zone. Next
question. How should we treat the actual
game and tournaments this season? Should
we WT or use a safe game? A safe game.
You want to use it every single game as
an end game because tournament the games
are shorter this season. So, they end
shorter. So, you can actually play every
single game out. So, just make sure you
play every single end game. What is
better for this meta, landing edge map
or center? I personally think center is
really good this season. And of course,
edge map works if you do have a really
good storm plan, but center is probably
the best option you have this season.
Next question. When me and my dude are
rotating at 50 people at game where are
tarping. What do I do? Look for when I
try to find refreshes. I seem to not
find any. Sometimes we run out of mats
at how to be more aggressive. Do things
together. You see someone fighting, go
get a pre-edit, run at it. Fight it.
Even if you have two two mats, try to
look for something. Don't be scared to
fight. If you guys know you're a good
duo, go and fight it. If you're on a
wall, play for awareness check. There's
so many things you can do in any game, right?
right?
and just be more aware of like what's
happening around you. Maybe you're just
playing too safe. Like go out and look.
Right. Next question. How to decide what
fights to take in mid game and where and
when where to disengage a fight. I think
the best way to take a fight is like do
you get a fry? Like do you fry them? If
you fry them, go key it, right? And when
you key it, let's say they're making a
million boxes. Disengage. Why are you
trying to fight someone that's making 10
million boxes? If they're fighting you
back, it's one thing. They're fighting
you back, fight it. because that fight
will probably end soon because someone
will die in that fight. Either you or
them. But if it's like you just see a
team in front of you, you don't know
what they have. You don't know how much
damage and you don't you're not
confident in your ability to fight,
don't fight that. Of course, you think
you can just kill them instantly. Next
question. What are the best all strats
other than obviously like drop code?
That makes no sense. Okay, first of all,
this question is so like dependent on
the drop, right? Also at a 50/50 drop,
you have to 50/50. At a spot where you
can split it, you split it, right?
There's not really a best offspawn strat
and that depends on every single
scenario. There might be one drop that
has something that you get a slurp truck
at the start of the game. Another drop
where you have this off. You know what
I'm saying? It's this question is too
hard to answer just because there's
20,000 different spots on the map that
you can land and it's dependent on where
you went. Next question is how do I
solify my drop spot every time I'm
calling or sort of how do I build a
confidence to land somewhere every time?
Get a good drop. Practice your drop.
Practice all spawning. If you're
swerving, you're not practicing. You're
not putting in the time. Learn how to do
that better and understand it. Next
question. How do I close out fights
quickly using the new items? And how do
I get better and not getting separated
losing my duo on half and half first
movement zones consistently? Fighting
with the new items. You can't close out
fights quickly. That's just not how
things work. Like unless of course
you're the best player in the
game and you can just 200 somebody piece
them 200, right? But closing out fights,
that's something you need to work on.
You need to get better at. If you're not
good at fighting, that's on you. I can't
help you with that. You have to start
grinding, right? And how do I get better
at not getting separated in my duo? Look
at where they're at. You're probably
losing them because you're tunnel
visioning. You're not aware of where
they're at. Look at where they are on
the map. You can see them anywhere. Just
follow them, right? And just find where
they are. How like separating your do or
lose your door in half and after moving.
That's got to be on you if you're the
frag, right? If you're the different
that guy need to be following you. Just
find where they at and try to get to
them. Next question. How to save as many
mats as possible in end game to know
when to summon summoners. Right. Well,
in end game I hear too many sounds and I
don't know if they're pressuring you.
This is awareness thing, right? Like if
you can't understand what sounds sound
like the guy next to you and from far
away that's something that you need to
work work on by playing more scrims,
understanding end games and save as many
mats as possible is not like viable in
Fortnite, right? You can save mats by
not building as much, but you're going
to end up having to get a refresh
because you're going to end up dying if
you don't run out of mats. So look, so
play it smart. Tarp ahead. Look for a
refresh together. If you don't find it,
don't find it. If you find it, good. You
don't find it, stay front, next zone.
Next zone post, go to it. You'll always
have an opportunity to look for a kill
and just keep playing strips and
practicing that. Next question. How do I
find good teammates that I won't drop
after a tournament? Serious question.
How do you find good teammates that
won't drop after? So, this ends up
coming down to you, right? Like, you
play with teammates,
right? You do well with them. You find
better teammates, you do well with them,
and then let's say you find a better
teammate, but you sell them. Why? Like,
you sold. You know what I'm saying? If
you're really that good, you should not
be getting dropped because you shouldn't
be selling. He should be. If he sold, it
makes sense, right? To for you to drop
him. But if you sold, then that's on
you. You got to get back and lock in and
do your work and get better, right? Next
question. How do I stop dying mid game?
Probably your rotates your bag. That's
super vague question cuz there's a
million different ways you can die mid
game. Like just go center, box up, or
just go AFK. Why are we even like trying
to fight? Why are you fighting? Why are
you rotating badly? Like stay front.
Just see the rotate, go front, box up,
right? How do I use the mobility? Right.
How do I use the mobility? Right. Um,
right now there's fist and and shocks. I
like to use shocks the way where you use
it to of course if you're above a hill,
you have to shock off. But if you're
like like kind of like on a layer with a
run, you can use the run ability, the
infinite sprint. And then fist, you just
fist in the sky and just fist straight.
Like it's not really that hard. You fist
box. Fist fist box. Right. Next
question. If you are a complete
beginner, how to rotate in barely no
movement meta? I mean, right now this is
not a no movement meta. There's fist and
shock waves, so you can't really be
like, it's not a no barely movement,
right? All you have to do is just shock,
get in front, box up, shock again, use
the shock, infinite run, you can run,
build, like get front. It's not really
too hard of a rotation. How to be
confident solos and how to finish fights
back. How to be confident solos. I can't
help you be confident. You have to learn
that on your own life. I can't be like,
"Oh, you got this. You got this." You
know what I'm saying? Like people aren't
going to always be there. You got to
lock in for yourself and how to finish
fights fast. That's another thing you
need to work on. Go into creative. Start
fighting people. Try to kill them as
fast as possible. Keep keep practicing
creative. Fight better players. Load
into like box fight maps. Try to just
peace people. Kill them quickly. Learn
that. Be confident in your fighting,
right? And as soon as you build that
confidence in creative, you can bring
that into the game. Next question. How
to avoid enemies/playment in solo. Avoid
enemies is not something you can do
because there's a lot of them around the
map if you're in solos. But you have to
just make sure you have good rotation
timings so you get past people. Play
placement. Just go center map and go
AFK. Like there's no point in like being
out in the open where you can get fried
lurped up on and then someone can key
you, right? I think if you're boxed up,
people don't key you as much. Last
question. What is the load out to do in
comp? I think the best load out in this
comp season, it is the Jawa shotgun. I
think one of you guys have to hold Jawa,
one of you guys hold iron. The Nemesis
AR is the best. And then you hold either
nitro fist, double nitro fist, double
shocks, and then of course 12 chugs,
chug chug, whatever, and or pizza. So
that's it for all the questions. Thank
you guys for watching this video. I'm g
go right into the ending. Let's do it.
If this video helped you understand on
how to actually go pro in chapter 7
season 2, make sure to drop a like,
subscribe, and comment below with any
other questions you guys have to answer
in a future video. There are a ton of
opportunities to earn this season, but
only if you're willing to put in the
time and effort and grind the right way.
I'm going to keep making videos on how
to improve, make earnings, and get
closer to becoming a pro. So, stay
