hi welcome back in this section we will
discuss the second set of graphical
tools that are used in analyze faced in
data analysis part and improving your
hypothesis we will now focus on what we
call time series time series our
graphical tools are used to track the
performance of variables over time if
you want to monitor picky PII or
performance measure that you are using
in your workplace probably you are using
time series charts in this particular
slide we can see that there are
different types of Time series charts
that are being used this charts are used
depending on its application with the
basis of the types of data that are
being used for example if you are using
continuous data you could handle it by
using control limits or not using
control limits if in case you are not
using what we call control limits then
you will go to what we call the simple
time to use block but if you are using
control limits to display your data your
continuous data and if your data is
collected in subgroups you could use the
X bar chart or an X bar and s chart but
if your data is that collected in
subgroups you have an option to use a
chart for data values only and I am our
chart for data values and were to issue
these first three examples examples of
what we call control charts on your
control phase we will discuss this
further so this is the charts for
continuous data but if you have a data
which is attribute or discrete the next
question will be what are you hunting
are you hunting for defective items so
you could use a pitcher or are you
counting for defects per unit you will
be using you chart this will all be
discussed hi chart until you chart in
your control phase we will now focus on
