0:04 what happened was actually i was driving
0:06 and um so it was both my father was my
0:08 fault and it was also the terraform
0:10 he was in the two-door going over 60
0:12 which he shouldn't again
0:15 at all and i i actually ran stop sign
0:17 but this is why i said it wasn't
0:18 necessarily my fault
0:20 because when the cops came the whole
0:22 neighborhood complained because
0:25 there was this huge tree this big drake
0:27 tree that grew over the south side and
0:28 they've been calling the city to come
0:30 cut down the tree before they said
0:33 almost a year so they said people run
0:35 that all the time not knowing you know
0:36 what i mean a stop sign should be there
0:38 so that that's what it was for me i'm
0:39 just driving didn't see the damn that time
0:40 time
0:43 i got hit so let's say this is my jeep i
0:44 got hit i spun
0:46 out and while i spun out there was a
0:48 parked car in my jeep
0:51 the right side of my jeep spun hit the
0:53 car and i flipped
0:56 over the park car goddamn and like
0:58 luckily i didn't break that i was just
1:02 bruised up so man here here
1:05 all of this i'm [ __ ] up and like
1:06 very [ __ ] bad i don't even get in the
1:08 car anymore
1:12 i never forget um our our best friend
1:13 sasha he picked us
1:16 he picked me up i was live i was
1:17 standing up her mouth at the time he
1:19 picked me up
1:21 and we didn't even make it to the corner
1:23 i could not sit in the front seat
1:25 i had to get on this in the back seat
1:26 lay down in the backseat
1:29 and i i was like that for a little while
1:30 but yeah
1:32 so after that accident i already went
1:35 home soared as hell
1:39 cried because i was having all these
1:43 just being true i remember texting my
1:44 managers and stuff at the time we got to
1:46 get on call
1:47 this is important they know what was
1:49 going on i got on calls and told them if
1:50 i was in a bad accident they thought
1:51 that was it
2:09 to say but i knew because i i was already
2:10 already
2:12 done with it for so long you know what i mean
2:13 mean
2:16 and um yeah but
2:20 okay now now we're doing more okay okay
2:36 like how's that all happening like the
2:39 contract obviously was overwatch product
2:41 you swear oh oh so the the label that
2:42 that was signed without
2:44 endoscope right well we were late in
2:45 scope okay
2:51 and then how we got out of that deal is
2:54 grinding [ __ ] happening and so we were
2:55 able to get a
2:58 out of that deal with no just
3:01 yeah no difficulties you you might think
3:02 what happened not going to be jail i'm
3:13 i'm not mistaken i think i think that you're
3:13 you're
3:16 trying to sign pride behind our back
3:18 assumption like that
3:20 so that was a breach of contract so we
3:21 were able to leave
3:25 right then we went over to sony
3:26 and then there was a point where i was
3:28 the only one not scientists only
3:31 because i didn't like the people we sent
3:33 they just messed up a lot of business
3:34 for me but
3:36 there was a show called the get down
3:38 it's on netflix yeah it's based out of
3:39 the nerd
3:42 yeah so i went to do the audition my
3:43 first time ever doing an acting audition
3:46 and i landed the lead role for that show
3:50 the person who was signed with 100 sony
3:53 just shut down no no no every email they sent
3:54 sent
3:56 his response was no it didn't have the
3:57 nerve to call me saying everyone in the coach
3:58 coach
4:07 a week later i went out for another role
4:09 for static shock
4:11 remember that cartoon launcher so i went
4:13 out for the rollercoaster
4:15 got it he did the same thing and that's
4:17 when i realized okay i've got to go
4:19 because you're messing up so much money
4:20 i just for the
4:23 netflix role there was i think it was 13 episodes
4:24 episodes
4:27 that was willing to do like 35 10 episodes
4:29 episodes
4:32 you know y'all was so big at the time
4:34 he was just messing up big money yeah so
4:36 they remember jaden was in the show
4:38 yeah so then they put the lead role this
4:39 is before i got my country
4:41 in the book in the role they didn't have
4:43 jaden for that role yet
4:44 well i think they did happen in mind but
4:46 then they really wanted me that was like
4:48 you know you got this role for you
4:50 he's kind of androgynous you know whatever
4:52 whatever
4:54 um you'll pay me more to be one of the
4:56 whole extra changer
4:58 he still said no and i was i can't do
5:00 this yeah so then we were all in
5:03 sony and then uh
5:07 he eventually we were gone for so long i
5:08 think that deal just kind of went
5:11 under the table and then by time the two
5:12 new members came we were kind of like independent
5:14 independent
5:16 you know what i mean um probably pretty
5:18 much had like the money to
5:22 do it i said okay um
5:24 yeah so it all kind of stemmed from like
5:26 once a party to left
5:28 and then that once that happened it was
5:30 almost like the contract
5:31 because i think literally the contract
5:33 was over during that year anyway
5:35 which is why it was he was free to just
5:37 walk so basically they made that dude
5:38 all around the world album and
5:40 that was basically the end of everything
5:41 yeah that was everything
5:44 album was yeah like the last album yeah
5:45 and i was probably like yeah
5:47 it was i don't think if i'm not mistake
5:49 it wasn't because i just think
5:51 my contract was a it was like a few year contract
5:52 contract
5:55 so by the time the album was done it was
5:55 it was
5:58 all here to resign you know what i'm
5:59 saying you know
6:01 i was like i'm gone yeah so like let's
6:03 talk about the financing
6:04 now like how was it like y'all split
6:06 splitting the money now between the management
6:07 management
6:09 well let's forget the management how
6:11 would you
6:13 prague prince and rocks explain it was
6:21 the thing is we had keisha yeah he was
6:23 pretty much running the show
6:26 like if you you should think of a branch
6:27 that like created that
6:30 yeah who else had to manage yourself [Music]
6:32 [Music] what
6:41 [Music]
6:45 he was super lucky so who's the other
6:47 man the one that is the only were
6:49 talking about walked up on bt awards
6:52 oh i think watch it yeah he won't see
6:53 his producer
6:57 okay um
6:59 yeah it was just a lot of people trying
7:00 to play a role yeah
7:02 it was like so much people we haven't
7:04 seen her there's too much going on
7:05 assigned to vincent
7:07 yeah and now you know let's just go
7:09 underscore records yeah um
7:11 which is cool because he had got god at
7:12 the time
7:30 was like the big bang right there you
7:32 know i mean they are all
7:34 big artists and all that that's so crazy
7:36 i never signed to a label again
7:37 yeah you know it's crazy because i
7:39 always said like like you know
7:41 you know like at that time like i really
7:43 didn't even label bro
7:45 people would just not y'all but people
7:47 were just money hungry
7:49 my opinion made money hungry and those
7:50 times with so much money
7:51 hey know how much they can get up there
7:53 but not thinking if we do
7:56 we'd be independent these boys take off
7:58 let me just say this to the camera
8:01 you're an artist and you're a true creative
8:02 creative
8:04 and you know what you're doing and you
8:05 want to create
8:08 music but you want to make good money remain
8:08 remain
8:11 independent do your research and figure
8:12 out how to put your music on all platforms
8:14 platforms
8:16 and educate yourself because you make so
8:21 you will get to a point where you can
8:23 invest in yourself i wasn't just telling
8:24 you this
8:27 yes bro right now
8:29 i just let's just say this year though
8:31 2020 has been trash
8:35 yes what especially kobe i didn't start
8:36 really dropping music until
8:38 january 6 which was my birthday i
8:42 dropped my first single video
8:44 right now after that dropped ice with me
8:46 paris yeah
8:50 jack brothers with with bro
8:54 you know six months
8:57 i've made so much goddamn money
8:59 yeah just running the show by myself i
9:00 have a manager
9:03 i have pr that's all you need you don't
9:05 need no [ __ ] label
9:07 you don't need all these these different
9:08 avenues and platforms
9:12 yeah you just don't need it at all
9:13 because once you're known
9:15 that's all that matters like you can
9:16 learn to show yourself
9:18 bro and after all that i'll be down if i
9:46 like people don't know this but and if
9:50 you do have the first album out there
9:53 look inside me those pictures
9:58 i literally drew by hand while traveling
10:00 i don't even pay for that i didn't get
10:02 no credit for that
10:05 you're going to send little cry feel
10:06 like dave scott
10:10 killed korea but i was also a real bad
10:12 dancer mm-hmm
10:14 and i was also in there so i'm playing
10:16 your work gang you get the credit for
10:18 giving pride sometimes you know what i'm
10:22 saying no credit no credit
10:24 and that's no disrespect to dave at all
10:25 or just you know
10:27 love david scott it's probably one of
10:28 the best questions for the dancers i've
10:30 ever met in my life yeah
10:33 i'm just saying just teamwise yes you
10:34 get them too yeah
10:39 it's crazy so prince
10:42 how how about what's going on that did
10:43 it all
10:51 um you know we keep revealing this
10:58 in another shot i'm not just saying this
11:00 because it's me i'm being biased
11:03 at all and that [ __ ]
11:06 literally had nothing to do with me just like
11:07 like
11:09 things on his end that was being said
11:10 about me
11:12 that were getting back to me from like secure
11:14 secure
11:16 people that like if they said it okay
11:17 i'll get it
11:19 you know anything are just running into
11:21 people they're like oh
11:23 he did this he's done that he said this
11:25 he said that i don't do that he said
11:28 she said you know me but also y'all have
11:29 to understand that i've been in a group
11:31 with this kid for five years
11:33 yeah i know how you maneuver i know how
11:35 you work sentences
11:37 yeah i've seen the text i've seen everything
11:38 everything
11:41 no you know like your mother yeah
11:43 so it's just like it was no denying it
11:45 it was that type of thing
11:47 that's one he also felt some type of
11:49 weapon i just left
11:51 he kind of felt abandoned but it's just
11:53 like you understand my well-being is
11:54 more important than anything else
11:56 you know i'm not ready to keep being
11:58 someone's puppet and being robbed
12:02 for fun no no it's not happening
12:05 that as well it was just a lot
12:08 you know i mean there's a lot going on um
12:10 um
12:13 yeah that that's like me keeping it cute
12:14 you know because there's
12:18 still a lot of [ __ ] going on right now
12:21 to where like the consumer don't know so
12:22 when i say little [ __ ] they're like
12:23 ready why are you saying this or why are
12:25 you saying that whatever
12:32 like seriously if i wanted to i could really
12:33 really
12:36 i wanted so i could really you know talk
12:54 out of respect to the beautiful people
12:55 that actually
12:58 love the group you know the fans and you
12:59 know they want to see this dance you
13:00 know you're a fan
13:03 of the shirt they hurt you you broke all
13:12 right but it comes to
13:14 you know consequences understand that
13:15 like you know
13:17 i've learned this for like meditation
13:18 and just being spiritual
13:21 that i'm saying when someone's a glitch
13:22 yes in your life
13:25 you eliminate them the best thing you
13:26 can do
13:29 is declutter somebody yeah just
13:32 eliminate take them away you know what
13:33 i'm saying and that's one that's what i
13:34 had to do
13:36 yeah sometimes i just walk away yeah
13:38 because at this point
13:40 we're not benefiting each other any way possible
13:41 possible
13:44 nothing good will come out of us being
13:45 cordial friend whatever
13:48 yeah it's not business my mom i don't
13:49 care yeah
13:51 if we were in high school and i've said
13:53 i've said this to him i've said this to
13:54 even other members
13:56 and we're in high school i would have
13:58 never hung out with you
14:00 you would have never been in my friend
14:02 group that's deep
14:04 it's just true we bonded because we were
14:06 put together in a group
14:09 and we were fortunate to be friends true
14:11 and we became brothers because of that
14:12 because we were working every single day
14:15 yeah but as soon as we had the time to
14:16 be independent
14:20 and grow we realized
14:22 we're not alike yeah cheap true colors
14:23 not okay
14:25 exactly it was all fake for the cameras
14:26 and everything
14:44 you know what i'm saying like
14:47 that situation so let's so like
14:49 okay so everyone's broken up now for me
14:51 you're cool with pride you could rock
14:57 and does anyone else feel the same way
14:59 powerpress or just you
15:00 i mean if you want to speak for yourself
15:02 yeah i'm only going to speak for more okay
15:03 okay
15:04 i know how everybody else do but you're
15:06 not gonna say nothing but yeah
15:08 yeah that's not my problem yeah i'm
15:10 always freaking out
15:12 so who can have a chance like do you
15:14 ever see like honestly on some
15:17 man man bro brother brother you know we
15:18 built a bond like i came to l.a like you said
15:19 said
15:21 yeah i definitely came to l.a to do
15:22 business but like
15:32 like real stuff do you see yourself
15:33 going back to my
15:36 hair but one more time dude if i can do
15:38 it one more time without the labels
15:40 that's a reunion yeah this one like a
15:42 one-time thing um
15:47 to make new music no if it was a reunion
15:49 you know to kind of bring back the tour
15:50 kind of like a screen tour type thing
15:55 yeah um because the bag is cute
15:56 yeah i'm just [ __ ] so pleased about
15:58 the money it's about the back
16:00 besides that i'm not interested like i
16:02 said i'm making so much money right now
16:05 yeah you know artist has an independent
16:06 cell artist no matter what
16:19 i respect it yeah so mindless behavior
16:22 is over
16:36 what you're doing now i've seen you got the
16:37 the
16:39 video you said they could say you know i
16:40 don't know how
16:43 it's done i don't want to find that one
16:46 okay um just making like minor changes
16:49 and things like that but it's done you've done
16:50 you've done
16:52 it's completely dead now it's up to me
16:53 to come up with a room today
16:56 okay trying to figure out the right time um
16:57 um
16:59 i'm also working for working on a true a few
17:00 few
17:03 treatments for videos yeah things like that
17:04 that
17:07 but if love that it is okay
17:10 you you can say you think independent
17:11 not working with no
17:14 more labels okay you say your manager right
17:15 right
17:18 yes that's good and how how do you mention
17:19 mention
17:22 you know connect the world like anybody
17:23 ever solid um
17:26 my manager robin i've known her it's funny
17:26 funny
17:29 she's from chicago yeah i met her when i
17:30 was in the group
17:38 very well connected she just know how to
17:39 do her job
17:42 and um i called her mom you know she
17:44 called me sons right now
17:46 we just have that vibe so i was like now
17:47 no one in my circle
17:50 is in i don't have to worry about the
17:51 dog trustworthy
17:54 uh i'm also working with my cousin [Music]
17:56 [Music]
17:58 i'm just friendly in general uh
19:11 treat you respect like a brother brought
19:13 me into l.a i mean like of course
19:15 you know we just bothered you know i
19:16 mean and
19:19 it just just this is legendary i mean
19:20 just that's right now
19:40 puerto rico you know
19:44 hey like stay good get straight to it
19:47 stay positive and get ready for
19:51 all the new materials yes get [ __ ] ready
19:51 ready
19:53 yes let's go eat [Music]
