When you
see people are cheating you,
you don't have to defend.
You don't have to fight.
You don't have to be discouraged.
God fights your battles. Amen. When
Laban was changing the wages again and
again and cheating Jacob, God kept
prospering Jacob. God kept increasing
Jacob. God kept defending Jacob in his
own way, in his own style. When God is
doing the talking, you be quiet. Amen.
You don't have to speak. You don't have
to defend. Amen. Let God speak. Let God
fight. You be still and know your God.
Amen. So that is the conversation Jacob and
and
Laban are having. Now after Laban comes
to conclusion that I cannot take back
Jacob, he gives up and he says let's
have a covenant. Make a covenant that
you will not ill treat my grand my my
daughters. You will take care of them
and you will not fight with me. You will
go in peace because he's afraid of Jacob
because God is with Jacob. God has
prospered Jacob. Amen. So Laban makes a
covenant and Laban leaves. That's in
Genesis 31. I told you at the beginning
God showed me a pattern. When you
persevere, Jacob persevered for how
long? 20 years with Laban. When Jacob
persevered after his perseverance,
we see
Laban the slave master, the greedy
taskmaster, the picture of devil
oppressing through Laban. When he left,
who comes?
Angels come. When Jesus resisted Satan,
who came? Angels came. When Moses
defeated Pharaoh, who came? Angels came.
When Jacob overcame Laban, who comes?
Angels come. And that's the place
Jacob calls Mahanam. Amen. That night,
he sees God's host. Such a beautiful
scripture. When Jacob saw them, he said,
"This is God's camp." He said, "This is
God's host. This is God's camp. And he
called that place Mahanayam. Jacob is
very good at naming names. You remember
the backstory? When he was running from
his brother to meet Laban on the way, he
kept a stone and slept on the pillow and
he saw angels descending up and down
from heaven and below. When he saw the
angels, he saw at the top of the ladder
God saying, "I am with you. I will
increase you. I will prosper you and I
will bring you back to this land. So he
had already seen that place and he had
named that place Bethl, house of God.
And then we see when he parted ways with
Laban, he called another name. He called
that name as Gilead.
He called the names as pineal. He called
the names as Mahanayam. He called his 12
children beautiful names. Reuben,
Simeon, Levi, Judah, Isachure, Gad, Napali,
Napali,
all having such specific beautiful
meanings. So, Jacob is very good at
naming a name with a meaning. So, if
Jacob has named Mahanayam, there has to
be a deep meaning to it. That's the
research I started to do and study and
ask the Holy Spirit to reveal. God
started speaking to me about Mahanayam.
He said mahanayam means in Hebrew two
camps. Show them the Hebrew word. The
Hebrew word is mahanayam. So in your
English Bible, Holy Spirit did not
translate. He just left it as Mahanam.
Two camps, a place east of the Jordan
named from Jacob's encounter with
angels. a levitical city in Gad.
So this is an encounter of angels. When
he saw two camps that is two host of
angels he saw at Mahanayam. He saw two
host of angels. So where are the two
host of angels? Probably he saw one host
legion of angels starting say if this is
your east to north to west another host
from west to south to east encamped how
do I say that it's not there in the
bible I perceive it because in psalm 34
it says the angel of the lord encamps
those who fear them because the angels encamp
encamp
the two camps here is one camp in the
front and the other camp at the back saying
saying
to Jacob, "Jacob, I am going before you,
preparing a way for you. So you don't
have to worry about Esau as I was with
you with Laban for the last 20 years."
He is a rare God. Amen. What is rare
God? He's behind you guarding you. You
don't know the blind spot. You don't
know things what's happening behind you.
You cannot see. But then the Lord who is
behind you protects you. Amen. So he
sees the two camps. He sees two host of
angels. What could that be? The God of
the angels and the angels of God could
be the two host of angels. Two host of
angels in front of Jacob. Now Jacob sees
that and he says, "I remember at Bethl
you showed me angels coming up and down.
This is a better place. They are not
just coming up and down from heaven to
earth. This time they are down with me
on my side." Amen.
They are with me on my side standing
front of me and they are behind me. He's
even more encouraged and he remembers
the angels that he saw before at Bethl.
Now at Mahanayam he sees two camps, two
host of angels.
Now why two host of angels?
Why not three host of angels? PPA
commentary. I asked this question to
God. God, why only two host of angels?
When you study next portion, you see
Jacob divides his group. He has huge
male servants, maid servants, animals,
children, two wives. He divides them
into two groups. After seeing the two
host of angels, he divides them into two
groups. He thinks if Esau comes to kill,
probably one group will die, other group
will live. His faith is growing. Please
don't condemn him. His faith is growing.
By the end of the journey, he's grown in
faith. Amen. So he divides them into two
groups. So I was asking God, why two
host of angels and not three host of angels?
angels?
Because God always is a trinity god.
Father, son and holy spirit, spirit,
soul, body. So it has to be in three
parts. So I remembered that Holy Spirit
reminded me when God created angels,
cherubims and saraphins when he created
them, he created three archangels
which we understand from the context of
whole Bible. He created three archangels
Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. Lucifer
Lucifer
disobeyed God. He and his host of angels
they all went against God and we call
them fallen angels. Now the other two
host that is Michael and Gabriel are
there as the custodians of God. Amen.
They are defenders. Michael goes for
battles. Gabriel goes as a messenger.
Gabriel came with a message to Mary. We
see Gabriel and his host are messenger
angels. Michael goes for the battle. So
we see when Daniel was fasting the uh
the host of angels. Michael fights. When
Daniel is in the lion's den, angels come
shut the mouth of lion's den. They fight
for people of God. So now Lucifer also
had responsibility. His responsibility
was he was actually custodian of God's
righteousness. He was custodian of God's
righteousness. Because of his pride,
evil, supreme evil, supreme evil is
pride. Because of his supreme evil,
pride, he was thrown out of heaven. Now
he instead of being custodian of God's
righteousness, he became opposite. That
is he became accuser of the brethren.
Always accusing you, saying you are not
the righteousness of God. He says that
you are not like Christ. You are not fit
to give authority. You are not having
that caliber to get a job. You are not
having that grace to succeed. He's
accusing you, condemning you constantly
because he is now evil angel from
Lucifer the light. He became Satan the devil.
devil.
Now that he is standing as opposition to
God's people, he is not opposition to
God. He's no match to God. He is not
God's opposition. He's only your
opposition. He is not God's adversary.
He's your adversary because you are
God's beloved. >> Amen.
So he knows that you're the weak link to
God. But there are no weak links to God.
No one can outwit him. No one can thwart
the plans of God. Now this archangel,
the fallen angel Lucifer is not there on
the side of God. So that's why when
Moses built the ark of the covenant, we
see there were two angels, two cherub
angels on the ark of the covenant. When
Jesus rose from the dead in the tomb,
when the women went, they saw two
angels. One at the head, one at the leg.
I see them as two camp of angels. One at
the head, one at the leg. Two camp of
angels. Where's the third camp?
Rebellion. Third camp is not there.
Lucifer is not there. So Jesus is the
ark of the covenant. When Jesus rose
from the dead, angels were there. At the
head, at the feet. Amen.
Amen.
>> Wow. Right. Now, where is the ark?
Where is the ark? Where is Christ?
Where is Christ for given generation?
You all should say loud and clear yes
Christ is in me. Amen. Now Christ is in
you. Ark is in you. That means where is
where are the angels? Where are the two
camps? Where is the archangel Gabriel?
Where is the archangel Michael? They are
on your side. They are next to you. They
are for you because ark is in you.
Christ is in you. Amen. Now the third
camp that is the third archangel Lucifer
was was supposed to be the custodian of
righteousness. So God gave this
revelation PPA commentary
revelation that you know what the
restoration to what Adam did. He
rebelled. Adam disobeyed God basically
because he was deceived. Adam did not
give the honor and obedience to God and
Satan did not give the honor and
obedience to God. Both of them Adam out
of his free will sinned against God.
Satan angel out of his free will sinned
against God. Now restoration is always
greater greater than what you lost. The
son of man, Jesus Christ, a
representative of all human race,
representative of you and me, the last
Adam, gave 100% obedience, 100% honor,
gave complete will to the father. He
restored back what Adam lost. And what
Satan did not do, he restored back by
giving God another host of angels. What
is that? Church of God.
>> Church of God is the host of angels. You
and I are the host of angels. Now what
we do? We help the body of Christ.
We serve the body of Christ. We do all
the work partnering with the other two archangels.
