0:03 $155,000 a month
0:06 $15,000 hitting your checking account
0:08 every 30 days that' be pretty cool
0:09 actually I can tell you firsthand that
0:10 it is pretty cool because I hit that
0:12 number at 21 years old doing exactly
0:13 what I'm going to tell you to do in this
0:15 video and I haven't made less money than
0:16 that in a single month ever since for
0:18 the last 3 and 1/2 years I have
0:21 basically guaranteed $115,000 a month
0:23 plus hitting me because of this I
0:25 believe that $115,000 a month is an
0:27 extremely realistic goal for like 90% of
0:29 people not sure if you hear that number
0:30 and you get a little comfortable but
0:32 here's why you shouldn't 15 grand a
0:34 month is about 11,000 a month after
0:36 taxes you can comfortably afford a 3K a
0:38 month rent payment a 1K a month car
0:40 payment a 1K month food budget a 2K
0:42 month fund budget and still put 50 Grand
0:45 a year away into savings 50 this video
0:46 is going to be the number one thing that
0:47 makes this realistic for you I want you
0:49 to leave this video with Clarity on how
0:50 you're going to hit 15 grand a month
0:52 this year in record time that's right
0:54 this is the year even if you have a job
0:56 already even if you have school or even
0:57 if you have nothing going on you're just
1:00 looking for a new income stream to make
1:02 you some extra money start your life now
1:04 let me tell you the best and only way to
1:06 do that is with what I do which is
1:08 called freelance copyrighting let me
1:09 tell you a little secret the reason most
1:11 people fail making money online is
1:13 because videos like this teach you what
1:15 to do and what to think instead of how
1:17 to think you're operating on service
1:19 level knowledge so like you kind of know
1:20 what to do and you're doing it but as
1:21 soon as the journey throws you a
1:23 curveball you have no idea where to go
1:25 next you're paralyzed you're stuck my
1:26 goal with this video is not to teach you
1:28 about what to do I want you to know how
1:29 to think so if you've never seen this
1:31 image image on screen that you see right
1:32 now I feel sorry for you because it's
1:35 one of the best ways to visualize how
1:37 your brain will look on this make money
1:38 online Journey right now you're over
1:40 here collecting data you're watching
1:41 videos like this trying to figure out
1:43 how to start and what to do right all of
1:45 my students who are at $15,000 a month
1:46 are in the knowledge bucket things are
1:48 starting to connect to one another it's
1:50 starting to make sense my students above
1:52 30k a month are in the Insight bucket
1:53 for myself I've been doing this almost 5
1:55 years and now I'm teaching it to you I'm
1:56 in the wisdom bucket I'm going to share
1:58 some of that with you today first of all
1:59 why freelance copyrighting and not
2:01 something else I have a thousand answers
2:02 to this question but the easiest way to
2:04 explain it is as follows freelance
2:06 copyrighting is the only business that
2:09 does not require capital or luck to make
2:12 it work you can be completely broke have
2:13 the worst luck in the world and still
2:15 make it work in a matter of months
2:17 businesses like e-commerce Amazon FBA
2:19 they require both capital and luck you
2:21 need to invest a minimum of 5 to 10
2:22 grand to make it actually happen and
2:24 then for you to find a product that's
2:25 hot enough to actually be profitable
2:27 like that is luck businesses like day
2:29 trading or crypto require ridiculous
2:31 amount of either capital or luck you can
2:34 make 200 Grand a year earning 10% a year
2:36 if you have 2 million invested or you
2:37 can put $1,000 into like a tiny little
2:39 meme coin and just hope that you make a
2:41 bag off it you're probably not going to
2:43 and if you do there's no liquidity Tik
2:45 Tok shop even though I love Tik Tok shop
2:47 does require luck to go viral and
2:48 sometimes you need money to buy accounts
2:50 all kinds of random stuff SAS requires a
2:52 ton of luck to build anything usable
2:54 copyrighting requires $10 to buy a
2:56 domain and as long as you do what I say
2:58 in this video it's only a matter of time
3:00 until you can sign enough clients so you
3:02 can get to $115,000 a month and Beyond I
3:03 need you to lock in okay I need you to
3:05 watch this whole video so you can know
3:07 everything you need to know and
3:08 understand what you need to understand
3:10 so you can make this amount of money per
3:12 month a reality for you also like
3:15 subscribe you know the joke part one
3:17 making your online presence unignorable
3:18 let me tell you a little secret I've
3:20 helped a lot of people make money and I
3:22 have a way to know if someone's going to
3:23 actually make money with this before
3:24 they even start there's one question
3:26 that they ask and if they ask this
3:27 question it's not going to work out I
3:29 just know it and the question is do I
3:31 really need make a website dog yes you
3:32 need to make a website I don't know if
3:33 you think you need to be like an expert
3:35 coder or like some sort of Genius to
3:37 like build a website in 2025 but this is
3:39 one thing you can do in literally 2
3:41 hours max that will make your chances of
3:42 signing highp paying copyrighting
3:46 clients like 100x if you can take 2
3:48 hours to build a website you don't
3:51 deserve $115,000 a month the copywriters
3:52 who are really making money are the ones
3:53 that really care about how they come
3:56 across two clients or prospects
3:57 digitally over the phone there's a lot
3:59 of things you can do it's not just your
4:01 website it's also how you talk how your
4:02 Instagram looks which we'll talk about
4:04 in a second what you're looking at now
4:06 is the website that I use when I first
4:08 started copyrighting it's still around
4:10 right now you can go to Cardinal copy.
4:11 this website actually sucks like I had
4:13 no idea what I was doing I built it on
4:15 Wicks of all places no clue why I
4:17 thought I cooked with the clouds in the
4:19 background and like the red text and
4:20 stuff but every single person I've ever
4:21 talked to is like this is the ugliest
4:23 website I've ever seen so this is proof
4:25 that you don't need a beautiful Cool
4:28 bespoke website to sign clients you need
4:31 a website the thing that carried me was
4:33 that I had good copy on the website it
4:35 was funny it was my it was me being
4:37 myself it was interesting for somebody
4:38 to read if you want to build a website
4:39 here's what you got to do go to
4:43 squarespace.com okay buy a domain it's
4:46 $10 okay you can do your name.com you
4:48 can do your name copywriting doc you can
4:51 do written by yourname.com you can also
4:54 do like doco like I did you can doxyz orio
4:55 orio
4:58 or.gov if you're in the government which
5:00 you're probably not you buy that don't
5:04 you go to C A rd. card.co you build a
5:06 website it takes you 2 hours you write
5:08 some cool copy on there you put a
5:09 picture of you maybe you with your dog
5:11 or something like that make a joke make
5:13 your personality shine through and in
5:16 about an hour you will be way closer to
5:17 $15,000 a month than you were without a
5:18 website I'm not even going to harp on
5:20 this too much because of how easy I
5:22 think this is for you to do but you have
5:24 to do it okay please don't skip this
5:25 step the second way you're going to make
5:28 your online presence unignorable is with
5:30 your Instagram now here's the good news
5:31 do you need to create a whole new
5:33 Instagram account and start from zero
5:35 and have zero followers no you
5:36 absolutely do not you can use your
5:38 personal Instagram make tiny little
5:40 changes to it and it will become an
5:42 asset for you in trying to make money as
5:44 a freelance copywriter your little pfp
5:46 thing your profile pick needs to be like
5:48 a a decent head shot doesn't have to be
5:49 anything crazy just a picture of you
5:51 looking like a normal person normal feed
5:53 picks just don't you know post like
5:55 pictures of you killing small animals or
5:56 something like that and you take your
5:58 website link you put it in your bio
5:59 makes you look official maybe if you
6:01 want you put the word writer in your bio
6:03 or marketer in your bio that makes you
6:04 look cool too and then pay for the meta
6:08 blue check it's $8 a month pay for that
6:09 you're good to go if you don't think
6:10 this is important let me tell you about
6:11 someone that I met during my free class
6:13 ERA this is a kid that hopped on my free
6:16 class started doing Outreach tried for
6:17 like two or 3 months was doing a ton of
6:19 volume and he he messaged me he was like
6:21 Hey I can't seem to find a client I
6:22 don't know what's going on I click on
6:25 this guy's profile there are no pictures
6:28 his profile picture is the Joker like
6:30 Joker from Batman man that was his
6:31 picture and his username was like a
6:33 string of letters and numbers that I
6:34 don't think has ever been in the same
6:36 sequence in the entire universe's
6:37 history I was like brother what is your
6:39 name and he told me his name and I was
6:42 like change your at to something pretty
6:43 similar to what your name is put a
6:45 picture of you or even someone that kind
6:47 of looks like you if you want to fool
6:49 people if you're ugly upload one picture
6:50 that makes you look like a wholesome
6:53 young gentleman put that website link in
6:55 your bio and just come back to me in
6:58 like 2 weeks I swear this kid was able
7:00 to sign a client like the next week
7:01 because he'd done all this Outreach
7:03 already and just was sending it to the
7:05 wrong people he was the Joker no one's
7:07 going to hire The Joker to help them
7:08 with copywriting last time I talked to
7:10 him which is about a year ago he was
7:11 already at like 7 or 8K a month which I
7:13 thought was awesome because he did it
7:14 just off the free class which is
7:15 actually coming back by the way small
7:17 plug free classes we're doing private
7:19 free classes bi-weekly the link will be
7:21 in the Bios the top link if you want to
7:22 sign up for that it's completely free
7:24 I'm going to give you way more in-depth
7:25 stuff on copyrighting and how to make
7:26 money doing this and sign clients if you
7:28 want to sign to that video is still
7:29 going to be great but but it's not
7:31 better than the free class okay so that
7:32 was pretty much it for part one kind of
7:34 easy you know what I mean get a website
7:36 going make your Instagram not look like
7:37 you are the Joker that would then lead
7:40 us to part two which is speedrunning
7:42 competency very hard word to say I think
7:44 the thing that holds a lot of people
7:46 back from doing copyrighting is that
7:48 they think that the actual work they're
7:49 going to do is really difficult they
7:50 think that because copyrighting is
7:52 something they've never done before it's
7:53 something they can never do that is what
7:55 we call a logical fallacy don't know
7:56 which logical fallacy it is cuz I
7:58 probably made it up but it is true if
8:00 You' passed fifth grade English and you
8:02 speak English fluently congratulations
8:04 you are probably way better than the
8:06 average copywriter being a great writer
8:08 has literally nothing to do with being a
8:10 good copywriter I know some people that
8:11 are borderline illiterate and they use
8:13 tools like chat gbt and and grammarly to
8:15 help them like become literate and make
8:18 sense when they write but it's not about
8:19 the way that you write it's about
8:22 understanding human psychology why they
8:23 buy why they spend money what makes them
8:25 want to do something the best way to
8:28 learn that is by reading a book that I
8:29 got for free online it's called
8:31 cashvertising it's not my book it was
8:33 written by a guy named Drew Eric Whitman
8:34 who blocked me on Twitter because I've
8:36 told at this point literally millions of
8:37 people to read his book for free he
8:39 should have made money off me I don't
8:40 know how he's complaining right now Drew
8:42 Eric Whitman if you're watching this
8:43 send a check make it out to Cardinal
8:46 mace and Co cashvertising is a book that
8:48 explains the deepest darkest secrets of
8:51 people's psychology the life force8 the
8:52 things they want more than anything if
8:54 you understand these principles of human
8:57 psychology you can use them for evil or
8:58 for good if you want to use them for
9:00 good you literally just whatever client
9:01 you're working with whatever product
9:04 they have you use these dark marketing
9:06 principles to get people to buy this is
9:07 what copywriters are actually doing
9:09 they're sales people they're not writers
9:11 as much as they are as salese and we all
9:13 know that most sales people aren't that
9:14 smart in fact most of them are pretty
9:16 dumb no offense if you're a sales guy
9:18 but I mean your competition is is pretty
9:20 Grim most sales people are like high
9:23 school dropouts that like go into you
9:24 know a car dealership ask for a job they
9:26 get trained for 2 weeks and then they
9:27 just go and make 60 to 100K a year for
9:29 the rest of their lives if they can do
9:31 that and make six figures you can do
9:33 this so after you've read cashvertising
9:35 it should be done in like 6 hours total
9:36 you want to do your daily studying and
9:38 this can look like just scrolling social
9:39 media where it's like if you're on
9:40 Facebook or Instagram you just look at
9:42 ads coming through and every time you
9:43 get an ad don't scroll past it like you
9:45 normally do just like look at it and be
9:47 like hm I wonder what's going on here
9:48 copywriters who make $155,000 a month
9:50 are always doing their daily studying me
9:53 now this is the copy as our founder and
9:55 EVP I don't even know what the [ __ ] that
9:57 stands for Evan Goldberg says the best
9:59 AI comes from the best data
10:01 discover the latest AI capabilities
10:03 coming to netw Suite today so you can do
10:05 more with less don't even know what the
10:06 [ __ ] that means I might pitch this
10:07 company because this is probably one of
10:09 the worst ads I've ever seen in my life
10:11 this is literally live proof that you
10:13 should be able to write better copy than
10:14 whoever works at nets Suite which I
10:17 believe is a a pretty large company been
10:20 around for a while 445,000 followers on
10:22 Twitter let's figure out what Nets Suite
10:24 is an AI power business management Suite
10:26 encompassing Erp Financial CRM and
10:28 e-commerce for more than 41,000
10:30 customers this may be a Terri
10:32 terrible this is probably some of the
10:33 worst copy I've ever seen in my life cuz
10:36 who even knows what that means this is
10:38 proof that you should be working as a
10:39 copywriter right now if you can write
10:40 better copy than that you'll be fine but
10:41 you're scrolling through ads you're
10:43 scrolling through Twitter Facebook
10:45 Instagram trying to find ads going
10:47 through your inbox of all the emails
10:49 you've ever signed up for like I got one
10:52 from Top Golf right now only 12 days
10:54 left to get tickets for New Year's Eve
10:56 whatever bro all of this stuff like I'm
10:58 reading this copy going through it we're
11:00 all we're going all in on New Year's Eve
11:01 this year with a party you don't want to
11:03 miss each ticket excl includes room for
11:04 six to party and play all night in your
11:06 own Bay this actually sounds cool I
11:08 might go to this so like this copy's
11:11 pretty good I might actually get a
11:13 ticket to go to Top Golf so you see like
11:14 I'm just reading copy just seeing what
11:16 makes me you know feel good seeing what
11:17 makes me want to buy you know what I
11:20 mean this is daily studying okay I want
11:22 you to read a bunch of copy just go and
11:24 find 10 ads go through 10 emails and
11:26 just look at what other copywriters are
11:27 saying and doing also if you want to
11:29 read some really good stuff that's like
11:31 definely good go to swiped.co it's a
11:34 website it's just a it's literally a
11:35 swipe file of like just good pieces of
11:37 copy that you can read for inspiration
11:39 also all my 15K a month copywriters
11:41 doing daily practice now obviously if
11:43 you're a copyr making 15K a month you
11:44 have clients so your practice is
11:46 basically just writing for your clients
11:48 but if you're not that yet you have to
11:50 be going in like I just did Finding ads
11:52 if I were in the practice phase I would
11:54 go to that ad I would be like how could
11:56 I make this sound better how could I
11:57 make this not suck and I would just
11:59 rewrite it same with this this top golf
12:01 email this top golf email does not suck
12:03 but I would go in and maybe just write
12:05 it my own way maybe put my own style in
12:06 it and like see if I can just like make
12:08 it a little bit better very simple stuff
12:10 guys this is not like over the toop
12:12 learning how to run Facebook ads or how
12:14 to run Tik Tok ads or how to do Amazon
12:16 SEO for your e-commerce business you're
12:18 literally writing a paragraph or two a
12:21 couple times a day so you can make
12:23 $115,000 a month now before we go into
12:25 part three I have to warn you this next
12:26 part is typically where I go deep in the
12:28 free class I'm about to tell you about
12:29 getting clients and like literally
12:31 getting paid and like how to get there
12:33 and this is like what I mostly focus on
12:34 in the free classes the private free
12:35 classes so just a friendly reminder
12:38 again sign up to that because it's free
12:40 all right part three understanding the
12:43 Art and Science of Outreach this is
12:44 where it's starting to get fun because
12:46 this is where the money is everything up
12:47 to this point has just been practice you
12:48 just been messing around just playing in
12:49 the sand a lot of people think that this
12:51 is like the hardest part of doing it cuz
12:52 you're like now trying to get people to
12:54 pay you but like honestly it's it's
12:55 really not that difficult Outreach and
12:58 getting clients is really like a mirror
12:59 and this is like kind of Broad and
13:01 philosophical but like everything that
13:03 you are reflects back to you in a way so
13:05 here's the mindset that you need to go
13:08 into Outreach with and remember like I'm
13:09 trying to teach you how to think here
13:11 I'm not trying to teach you what to do
13:12 obviously I can give you a script which
13:14 I will on the free class and in the
13:15 other Link in my B I'll definitely give
13:18 you scripts but it's not about that only
13:20 it's about the mindset you go into it
13:21 with it's about the art just as much as
13:23 it is the science the script is the
13:25 science what you're doing is the science
13:26 this part's the art and this is going to
13:28 sound weird but you actually need to put
13:30 yourself in like the perfect heads space
13:32 to do this so that you can just power
13:34 through and get it done it's going to
13:36 make it easier for you to physically do
13:37 like it'll feel like it takes less time
13:40 and in a weird way you'll attract better
13:42 clients more clients you'll just make
13:43 more money so the way you got to think
13:45 about it is you have to remind yourself
13:47 how close you are and get excited about
13:48 that this is the one step that I took
13:50 too long to do this is why it took me so
13:52 long to get to 15K a month I'm like
13:53 embarrassed how long it took took me 10
13:54 and 1 half months I could have gotten
13:56 here so much faster if I just had this
13:57 mindset instead it's like the meme of
13:59 the guy with the diamonds and like the
14:01 pickaxe and he's going through the dirt
14:03 and the Diamonds are over there and he
14:05 he knows that at some point at some
14:07 point he's going to hit the diamonds you
14:08 have to think the same way about
14:11 Outreach where it's like I know that I'm
14:12 going to get a client like I know for a
14:14 fact I'm going to get a client it's just
14:15 a matter of how many DMS am I going to
14:17 have to send you don't know that but I
14:18 remember when I started I told myself I
14:21 was like if I can send a th000 cold DMS
14:22 I'm not going to not get a client and so
14:25 I prepared myself to do 1,000 but you
14:26 could prepare yourself to do 2,000 or
14:27 something like that cuz it's still not
14:29 that much on my 65th Co em got my first
14:30 client you got to prepare for the long
14:32 game you also have to go into it
14:35 assuming that you are inherently likable
14:36 so the reason that some people are
14:37 likable and some people aren't is
14:40 because the ones that are likable know
14:41 they're likable they never feel like
14:42 they're bothering anybody because
14:44 they're like oh I'm me I'm the best I'm
14:46 cool people love being around me and
14:47 then when they go out and meet other
14:49 people whether it's online like through
14:52 DMs or emails or whatever or in person
14:54 they just act completely freely they
14:56 don't judge themselves they don't filter
14:57 themselves in any way because they know
14:59 that who they are is valuable and the
15:00 skills that they have are valuable and
15:02 so every person is better off knowing
15:04 them than not this is the mindset you
15:06 need to take with you into Outreach like
15:07 when you're doing manual Outreach this
15:09 is how it has to be and again weird
15:11 spiritual thing but the reason why I
15:13 believe more in manual Outreach than
15:15 blasting out 10,000 cold emails a day
15:18 with AI is because every message you
15:20 send to somebody has like its own soul
15:22 again I get it like it's strange it
15:23 sounds weird for me to tell you this but
15:25 like this is why I didn't even like copy
15:27 and pasting messages individually to
15:29 people I feel like every message you
15:32 send DM or email or whatever has its own
15:34 sort of identity and soul so knowing
15:37 that not only should you be a little bit
15:38 careful about what you send to people
15:40 but also understand that like it's your
15:42 job to sort of like create the soul of
15:44 this message I get it I'll say it for
15:46 the fifth time I understand it sounds a
15:47 little bit weird you probably haven't
15:48 heard people talk about Outreach this
15:50 way but I thought about it this way all
15:52 of my students who are at this level
15:54 have really good luck with Outreach
15:56 because they understand that Outreach is
15:57 almost like a living breathing thing
15:59 it's a message that you're sending to
16:00 someone into the void essentially right
16:02 like you're sending messages through a
16:04 phone which is just ones and zeros but
16:06 even then it's like you're sending it up
16:07 into the universe and it lands in
16:09 somebody else's phone there's more to it
16:11 than just like pixels on a screen
16:12 there's a soul to it and if you think
16:14 about it that way you're going to have a
16:15 lot better time with outre because it
16:16 makes it more personal you are
16:18 connecting with another human being on
16:20 the thing that they care most about or
16:22 up top five for sure their business and
16:24 you are making an exchange with them
16:26 that is kind of wholesome where you are
16:28 going to support them and make them more
16:30 money and earn more customers for them
16:32 by using tactics that are like
16:34 completely good and virtuous like
16:36 copyrighting and explaining it better
16:38 and sometimes even adding in like pure
16:40 art like it's creative to write like a
16:42 really good email and if you really tap
16:44 into that it feels really good and so
16:45 that connection that you're making is
16:47 going to be beautiful and if you go into
16:49 Outreach thinking like this I promise
16:51 it'll just be better and easier and more
16:53 effortless and then you get into the
16:55 science okay so obviously volume I
16:58 recommend that you do about 40 to 50
17:00 Outreach per day and that could be DMS
17:02 it could be emails it could be proposals
17:04 on a job site I want you to do 40 to 50
17:06 a day I think it's super doable it
17:07 shouldn't take you more than like 2 or 3
17:09 hours and if you have a 9 to5 this could
17:10 be your evenings and weekends where it's
17:12 like you're reaching out to people you
17:14 know at night between like you know 9
17:16 and 11: or 12 or on the weekends where
17:17 you're just banging it out like on a
17:18 Saturday Sunday morning and if you're
17:20 unemployed like you should be doing more
17:22 than that like you're unemployed like
17:24 what like when I was unemployed it was
17:26 Co to be fair but I was doing Outreach
17:28 all day long and just like connecting
17:29 with people and like talking about
17:31 copyrighting and practicing it was like
17:32 a full-time thing for me also remember
17:34 that most prospects aren't going to
17:37 respond to your first Outreach it might
17:39 take you a couple follow-ups for you to
17:40 get them you know to actually want to
17:42 work with you so my first client
17:44 Everyman Jack I had to send a follow-up
17:46 where I in the first email I offered a
17:48 sample and then the second email I said
17:49 hey the sample is just sitting in my
17:50 Google Drive collecting dust do you want
17:52 it and then he sent that email over to
17:54 his marketing guy and then that's how I
17:56 got the gig I had to follow up it's very
17:57 very unlikely that you're going to get a
17:59 client or start a conversation without
18:01 following up business owners are busy
18:03 they have a lot going on you're probably
18:04 not their main priority you need to just
18:06 stay in their field of vision I also
18:07 want you to use every resource in your
18:10 disposal so I said proposals on job
18:11 sites do you know what that means I
18:14 really utilize the [ __ ] out of upwork so
18:16 upwork is a job site where you get a
18:18 bunch of job listings like freelance job
18:20 listings and you can send out your bid
18:23 to get that gig so if the price is fair
18:25 and it's something like a rate that
18:26 you're happy with and you're sending
18:27 like a good proposal like you're
18:28 connecting with them you're there I
18:30 could talk about upwork like all day I
18:32 should make a video on this but you know
18:34 you should be using everything it's not
18:36 even just upwork don't use Fiverr cuz
18:37 Fiverr sucks job boards are great you
18:39 can go on LinkedIn jobs you can go on
18:41 like indeed I guess there's like all
18:43 kinds of little freelance job sites like
18:44 when I was starting I was literally
18:46 Googling copyrighting jobs online and
18:48 just seeing what would come up I wasn't
18:49 qualified for most of them cuz some of
18:51 them do want a degree and some of them
18:53 want like 5 years of experience which is
18:54 hilarious because I don't have a degree
18:56 I don't have five years of experience
18:59 yet I would not even get these 90 k your
19:01 copyrighting jobs even though I'm me and
19:02 I've been doing this for a minute and I
19:04 feel like I'm the best because I don't
19:05 have those two things so if you're
19:06 worried about that like don't worry
19:07 about it cuz I wouldn't get those gigs
19:09 either I've literally made over a
19:11 million dollars as a copywriter and
19:14 generated eight figures for companies
19:15 with my words and I still can't get
19:17 these jobs so don't stress about that I
19:18 also want you to tell everyone you know
19:20 that you're doing this depends on how
19:22 Shameless you want to be like you could
19:23 literally post on your personal
19:24 Instagram story if you're really a
19:25 psychopath and be like hey I'm a
19:27 copywriter if you have a business that
19:28 you know you want to make more money
19:29 like hire me me and let's talk and I'll
19:30 tell you how like you could you know
19:33 benefit from my services that's crazy I
19:34 didn't want to lose any Aura points by
19:35 doing that but if you really don't give
19:37 a [ __ ] then yeah go ahead but like I
19:39 ended up getting like a small client I
19:41 don't consider this like a real client
19:42 cuz they only paid me like a 100 bucks
19:44 but I got some experience a friend of
19:47 mine who uh worked in music licensing I
19:48 don't remember what the [ __ ] he did he
19:50 had this website called the bank.com it
19:52 was like a licensing platform and I was
19:53 writing like some of their copy on the
19:55 website and like some emails for them
19:57 and that was like part of my portfolio I
19:59 got like my first tiny little gift made
20:00 100 bucks from it from like telling
20:02 somebody that I knew that I'm doing this
20:03 and they wanted to employ me for like a
20:05 quick gig I had my friends parents who
20:07 like you know one guy was like a a
20:09 mortgage broker I helped him with some
20:11 of his copy like I did a couple emails
20:13 for him and then his website as well
20:15 like you got to put it out there you got
20:17 to put it into the universe again to get
20:18 spiritual I don't care if you don't
20:20 believe in this stuff it is real all
20:22 right and then last but definitely not
20:24 least remind yourself how close you are
20:26 I used to think before I made any money
20:28 copyrighting that 5K a month a full-time
20:30 basically commitment where I'm I'm
20:32 making 60k a year I can kind of support
20:34 myself a little bit as a copywriter I
20:35 thought that was like a year away but I
20:36 was willing to wait I was willing to
20:38 work that long so I could make 5K a
20:40 month you will make 5K a month so much
20:42 quicker than that I did that like almost
20:43 my first month all right let's jump into
20:46 part four which is your first W so the
20:48 thing is if you're not picky and you're
20:49 actually working you will sign your
20:51 first client in like 2 to 3 weeks
20:53 probably less like if you're doing
20:54 everything that I say like it's not
20:56 going to be a massive client but you
20:58 will get paid to do copyrighting work
21:00 work in like 1 to 3 weeks like it's
21:02 really not that difficult like between
21:04 30 DMS on Instagram a day 20 Cold emails
21:07 a day a bunch of upwork proposals
21:09 applying to little gigs applying to tiny
21:11 little freelance gigs blog writing
21:13 writing product descriptions instead of
21:15 you know something major like an email
21:17 or a website like you'll get something
21:19 you just got to do it like it's possible
21:20 you'll make a couple hundred bucks from
21:22 this in like a few days like literally
21:23 I'm thinking about it right now best
21:24 case scenario let's say you make your
21:27 website okay in in one day you make your
21:29 website you speed run cashvertising
21:31 maybe you listen to it on audio and you
21:33 you get through it in like 3 hours you
21:34 fix your little Instagram and then over
21:36 the next like 3 days you're like
21:38 learning about copyrighting kind of at
21:39 the same time of like doing the Outreach
21:41 let's say you're going through and
21:42 you're finding ads and emails and you're
21:44 practicing and you write like maybe 10
21:46 15 pieces of practice copy you could be
21:48 ready to go in like 2 3 days if you're
21:50 really about it some people don't feel
21:51 as comfortable writing so maybe they
21:52 need more time but like if you really
21:54 don't give a [ __ ] like 2 3 days and if
21:56 you actually do what I say and you
21:59 speedrun this by day s and you could
22:00 make a couple hundred bucks from
22:01 freelancing I've actually never even
22:02 thought about it that way that's
22:04 actually crazy how fast it can happen
22:05 but the reason that's so important is
22:08 because your first W is everything your
22:09 first client is not going to retire you
22:11 and give you Rolls-Royce in the driveway
22:12 it's not going to okay it's going to be
22:14 a little bit of money but it's momentum
22:17 that is more important and and more
22:18 valuable than the money that you're
22:21 getting paid if you are a real dog and
22:23 in 7 days you're able to make 500 bucks
22:25 from freelancing that 500 bucks can't do
22:26 much for you but that momentum is
22:29 literally like actually literally worth
22:31 about 200 Grand because in the next like
22:33 one and a half to two years like that is
22:35 what you are on track to earn at this
22:38 rate with copyrighting so that first gig
22:39 let's say you do get a client for 500
22:41 bucks that might turn into a retainer
22:43 where it's like maybe then like you can
22:45 get paid you know $2,000 a month to do
22:47 some more consistent work for them and
22:48 they just have you doing more that's
22:50 extremely possible or they recommend you
22:52 to somebody else who can pay you a
22:53 little bit more maybe it's like another
22:55 one of those where it's like trial for
22:56 like a couple hundred bucks and then you
22:57 move into like making two grand a month
23:00 from a client or again the momentum just
23:01 like carries you to just not take your
23:03 foot off the gas and actually sign like
23:05 a real client which is $2,000 a month
23:07 and that's the thing like if you do that
23:08 that fast like you can sign your first
23:09 client one to 3 weeks or something like
23:11 that you can sign your second one in
23:13 like a week or two and if you don't stop
23:15 like you're going to be on track where
23:16 like you might actually have like a
23:18 bunch of small gigs where it's like 500
23:20 here 1,000 here, 1500 here and 2K where
23:22 it's like that would be
23:24 $45,000 that you can make in a month by
23:26 just doing like a bunch of little piece
23:28 work and if you don't stop it will
23:30 always always lead you to part five
23:32 which is your first whale so your
23:34 definition of a whale is different from
23:36 some other people but a whale client is
23:40 any client at or above 5K a month so I
23:42 myself have signed whales for like 20K
23:45 one time 30k I have students who have
23:47 clients that pay between 20 and $40,000
23:49 per month and I have friends who are
23:52 years ahead of me and definitely you
23:55 signing $100,000 a month clients those
23:57 are whales but then you have agencies in
23:59 New York City that do like 500 million a
24:01 year and if if a client can't pay them
24:03 less than like 6 mil a month like they
24:04 just won't work with them like those are
24:06 whales those are like Fortune 500
24:08 companies this real real numbers here
24:10 but for you 5K a month is a whale now
24:12 the way you do this is first of all
24:13 you're going to have like you're going
24:16 to be oozing confidence because if
24:17 you've been picking up little gigs and
24:18 stuff like that and working with a lot
24:20 of people really fast you get those W's
24:21 fast because you're doing the work
24:23 you're going to feel the urge to start
24:25 shooting on bigger people like you're
24:27 going to see some Guru on Instagram who
24:28 has like 300,000 follow followers on
24:30 Instagram and he's got a course and he's
24:32 making 150k a month already and you go
24:34 Hey listen I'm a copywriter and I don't
24:36 know if you know what I do but I'm kind
24:38 of that guy in the community right now I
24:40 firmly believe that if we work together
24:41 I would make you more money because your
24:43 copy is really not that good and you're
24:44 not even really doing what you need to
24:47 do so if you pay me $6,000 a month just
24:49 to do all the stuff that I know you're
24:50 not going to do and it's going to make
24:53 you you know you pay me six I make you
24:54 60 cuz that sound like a fair trade
24:55 they're going to be like kid you got
24:57 balls but I'm not paying you 6K a month
24:59 and you go how about five and they go
25:00 deal you sign your first whale so you
25:02 could do it like that or let's say same
25:04 guy right you pitch him and they're like
25:05 I'm not paying you 6K a month and you're
25:07 like how about five and they're like how
25:08 about zero you go okay let me let me
25:11 chill you say how about you pay me 2500
25:12 bucks a month and then just give me a
25:14 piece of the revenue that I generate for
25:16 you and they go tell me more and you say
25:18 if I can generate you $50,000 and you
25:20 pay me 5% of that that's 2500 bucks a
25:22 month extra and so you're paying me on
25:24 performance they're like that sounds way
25:26 more like it that I'm happy to pay you
25:27 that much if you're going to make me
25:28 that much that's usually how it starts
25:29 so I have a lot of students in my inner
25:31 circle that end up signing clients where
25:33 it's like a grand or two a month so
25:35 small retainer but they have like 10 to
25:37 20% of this business's like Revenue that
25:39 they generate right the copyrght
25:40 generates and maybe it starts off where
25:41 it's like their commission is only like
25:44 500 bucks and they make like 1,500 bucks
25:45 with it but maybe they might have a
25:46 month where it's like they pop off it's
25:48 like Black Friday or something like that
25:49 and they get paid like 5,000 out
25:51 commission then they just made 6K off
25:52 one client that's one client paying you
25:54 the equivalent of 72 Grand a year I
25:56 personally believe that flat retainers
25:58 are much easier to get people are more
26:00 likely to pay you flat cash than to give
26:02 you a percentage but if you can like
26:04 basically invest in someone and actually
26:05 do the work to make them more money and
26:07 they do pay you that much like you can
26:08 have three clients each paying you
26:10 $115,000 a month that happened to my
26:13 student Bo last year or I guess well
26:15 yeah about a year ago she signed a bunch
26:16 of clients on rev share Bo was working
26:18 with these big gurus who were paying her
26:20 little retainers but big percentages of
26:22 what she was making for them she got
26:24 paid very well there's a video up on
26:26 screen right now on how she made 65
26:27 Grand in that month but she ended up
26:29 going on to like make 80 plus in a
26:31 single month so those clients can become
26:32 very very good so if you're wondering
26:33 what types of clients are going to pay
26:35 you 5 grand a month who is that usually
26:37 what I've seen are info product sellers
26:39 so people that have you know a following
26:40 on Instagram and they sell a course or
26:43 coaching or some sort of program they
26:44 usually have money they usually make
26:46 money and there are thousands of those
26:48 guys running around these days if you're
26:49 a good copy RoR you can definitely sign
26:51 a client for 5K a month or more working
26:53 with those guys like this one everyone
26:54 right now watching this video go pitch
26:56 Shelby sap go hit her DMS and say Mason
26:57 s you I'm just kidding don't do that
26:59 actually not do that I'm already on thin
27:00 ice with her you also have Ecom Brands
27:02 who are typically in the range of like 2
27:04 to 10 million a year why do I say 2 to
27:06 10 million a year because below that
27:08 they can't afford that and then above
27:09 that they don't need you they'll have it
27:11 in house how do you know someone's 2 to
27:13 10 million a year you kind of don't you
27:14 kind of got to guess you can tell by
27:16 looking at them if they're not in retail
27:18 they're probably under 10 million a year
27:20 and if they have like a cool website and
27:21 like some following on Instagram like
27:22 they're probably above 2 million also
27:25 two agencies so these are harder to find
27:27 they're not as uh plentiful as econ
27:29 brands or products but if you can sign
27:31 an agency they'll pay you 4 5K a month
27:32 if you're going to work like semi
27:34 part-time for them almost full-time
27:36 would by the way let me just say this a
27:38 full-time agency gig they think it's 40
27:39 hours a week you may be working like 15
27:42 hours a week agencies typically way
27:43 overestimate like how much work they're
27:44 giving you and so they think it's a
27:46 full-time thing but you're banging this
27:48 stuff out it's super easy best thing too
27:51 is whales beet whales what does that
27:53 mean it means that if you have one whale
27:54 client they're usually a good enough
27:55 business owner where they have a lot of
27:57 business owner friends who are also
27:59 making money and they can hire you too
28:00 so if you work with an info guy all the
28:01 info guys know each other all these
28:03 people are my friends Shelby sa we hang
28:05 out every day all the Ecom guys they're
28:06 in like little communities like they all
28:08 share secrets with each other those
28:09 types of businesses will like refer you
28:11 to their friends as long as they don't
28:12 think that it's going to take up less
28:14 time away from their business you can
28:17 get all of their Network as clients if
28:18 you have one whale you sign two of their
28:20 friends you're literally at 15K a month
28:21 right there and you already have clients
28:23 before that so You' be above 15K month
28:25 or if you work with an agency I don't
28:26 love recommending this but it is
28:28 something you could do you can go go
28:29 direct to the brands that the agencies
28:31 are working with and offer stuff outside
28:33 of what the agency offers and just like
28:34 try and sign them as clients so if
28:35 you're working with an email agency and
28:38 you're writing emails through the agency
28:39 for that brand ask them if they want to
28:41 pay you to write a bunch of blogs like
28:42 you could literally get paid 2 to 3K a
28:44 month to write like all the stuff the
28:46 agency is not doing for them so once you
28:48 get one I'm telling you it's smooth
28:50 sailing all the way up to 1520 plus a
28:52 month hey look at that we finished the
28:54 video if you liked it obviously like it
28:56 click the like button and then subscribe
28:57 too and if you want to come to the free
28:59 class you can do that it's coming up
29:00 very soon if you miss this one there's
29:01 going to be another one coming along
29:03 shortly and if you want to work direct
29:04 with me oneon-one there's another link
29:06 for that in the description it's really
29:08 really intimate you and I hanging out
29:10 working together making you money with
29:11 copyrighting any of this sounds
29:12 interesting go click those links all
29:13 right I will see you in the next video
