0:04 welcome back when we last left off fate
0:06 and a little bit of Creeper tickling had
0:09 left us an enormous ball of dirt to
0:12 harvest I intend to dedicate all of that
0:16 dirt towards a more nuanced mob farm but
0:19 first let's get rid of that shall
0:23 we the location and design of this new
0:26 mob farm is fairly important I want it
0:28 to be close to where I spawn because I
0:32 will be dying a lot from it but not so
0:35 close to the rest of my everything that
0:37 mobs will be able to easily chase me
0:40 down and murder me I also want it to be
0:42 far enough away from everything that
0:44 mobs will continue to spawn at all times
0:47 which means within a 64 block
0:50 sphere but also tall enough that they
0:52 will keep spawning while I'm using the
0:55 farm this means the farm will need to be
0:57 at least 24 blocks taller than the
1:00 surrounding terrain but again that 64
1:03 block restriction in a sphere still
1:06 applies it must also be wide enough to
1:10 allow extremely thick mobs to use it
1:13 without jamming it up too much these
1:15 demands bump up the dirt requirements
1:17 for the farm by quite a lot from my
1:20 estimated 17 stacks and I'm going to
1:22 need to pop some more creepers before I
1:25 can finish the roof and Gilling
1:28 room after I lightly torch up that's a
1:31 joke you can laugh the creeper platform
1:33 so that I can see what spawns without
1:35 disrupting it it's a fairly simple
1:37 matter to roll mobs until I find a dirt
1:40 creeper I actually get two and after a
1:42 great deal of careful operation prove
1:44 that I have learned my lessons well and
1:46 successfully detonate both of them in
1:49 the correct spots I collect the dirt
1:51 just before nightfalls and return to
1:54 building after a quick death to refresh
1:56 my Hunger as my weapon and armor
1:58 situation improves hunger is
1:59 increasingly going to become a
2:02 bottleneck in my work this will not be
2:05 changing for quite some time however so
2:08 I Soldier on and sip instead from the
2:10 infinite Bounty of the Void or I would
2:12 if I could remember which gravestone had
2:15 my torches in it I don't even have
2:17 chests yet and sorting is becoming a
2:21 problem good grief I also realized I
2:23 didn't relight the mob platform so now
2:25 Enderman are going to mess it up again
2:27 frustrated noises
2:29 intensify at least I have mobs now
2:31 though that's an improvement over the first
2:32 first
2:36 episode since I currently lack dirt and
2:38 nighttime I decide to install the rest
2:41 of the water in the mob farm instead
2:43 while I do that I should mention that
2:45 water in Greg Tech New Horizons does not
2:47 infinitely Spawn from Source blocks like
2:49 it does in vanilla Minecraft I'm not
2:52 sure why this was implemented because
2:54 there are tons of other ways of
2:56 automating Water Production even this
2:59 early in the game and in the situation
3:00 I'm in right right now surrounded by
3:03 literally nothing even that is not
3:05 enough to make this much of an issue my
3:07 best guess is that it was to prevent
3:09 people from feeling like they had to
3:10 manually top up their water supplies
3:13 every time they ran low but it might
3:15 just have been an aesthetic choice I try
3:17 to swing a creeper Spawn from the farm
3:20 before night passes but no
3:23 luck the next day I'm able to get one
3:26 from the tube after the usual surgery
3:28 and masterful tail wiggling in its
3:30 general direction I get it half way up
3:32 the creeper detonation platform I lose
3:33 sight of it for a second and I guess
3:34 this is long enough for it to lose
3:36 interest because it then turns around
3:39 walks away and just waltzes off into the
3:42 void I do not understand mob pathing in
3:45 this version of Minecraft at all what a
3:48 waste I get another one later in the day
3:50 and this time I take a different route
3:53 incidentally look at the size of that
3:56 creeper good grief when I get him on the
3:58 stairs he turns around and does the
4:00 exact same thing as the other one
4:02 I am being
4:04 scammed I take a bit of time to change
4:06 the stair design just in case it is a
4:08 weird pathing bug and wait for Knight to
4:10 spawn me some more once I roll a spawn
4:13 cap that has a couple I camp out on the
4:15 tube it turns out to be a waste though
4:16 because apparently the creepers
4:18 despawned and I didn't notice it and I
4:20 am left with nothing except a piston
4:22 which will admittedly come in useful
4:25 later I eventually get a third tube
4:28 creeper and it actually goes where it is
4:31 supposed to go I have no idea if my fix
4:33 worked or if I just got
4:37 lucky and with that in my belly let's go
4:40 finish up the farm the roof of the farm
4:42 is easy I patch it up pull the Torches
4:45 from the inside and work my way down the
4:47 bottom of the farm is more tricky and
4:49 ends up having
4:52 several deployment
4:54 issues I eventually get everything
4:57 patched up but as still dirt short so I
4:59 will have to eat the tube for resources
5:02 this is honestly fine with me I've been
5:03 leaving it torched up anyway so I'm not
5:06 getting any use out of
5:09 it a little bit of engineering later and
5:12 we have ourselves a mob farm I have gone
5:14 through all of my grayes and pulled all
5:16 of the useful blocks and items I got
5:18 from infernals we have four loot bags to
5:21 open later by the way and use them to
5:22 give me some Redstone controls for the
5:25 farm the Pistons on the end will prevent
5:27 mobs from falling into the void allowing
5:29 me to kill them manually if I want to
5:31 and and if I want to stop the flow of
5:33 mobs into the Farm's killing chamber I
5:35 have a third piston further up the water
5:37 shoot this will be useful for things
5:39 like zombie villagers or creepers that I
5:41 want to break out and move around to
5:44 help me see inside I've placed some iron
5:46 doors to act as primitive Windows they
5:49 aren't great but mobs won't aggro
5:51 through them which is kind of all I care
5:53 about almost immediately I get a
5:56 redstone from a lightning creeper and
5:57 since the only Redstone carrying signal
6:00 item I can make a redstone torch needs
6:03 it I'm going to make sure to pick up as
6:05 much as I can get my hands on at this
6:07 point most of the super awful dirt
6:10 grinding is out of the way so I have a
6:13 stable safe is Farm design that lets me
6:15 filter mobs and now I just need to wait
6:17 for things that I want to kill to spawn
6:19 and then jam into the shoot with the new
6:22 Farm process of mob farming being so
6:25 much easier it's kind of ridiculously
6:28 simple to get stuff that I want spawn
6:30 rates are so high that I can basically
6:32 pick and choose which infernals I want
6:34 to kill and I only ever really take
6:37 damage from infernal effects and weird
6:38 hits that sometimes come through the
6:40 corners of
6:43 blocks my farming times are more of a
6:45 function of hunger now than health and
6:47 if my inventory fills up I can just take
6:49 a quick dip in the void to fix both of those
6:50 those
6:53 problems I pull another dirt creeper out
6:55 though at this point I don't really care
6:57 if I never need dirt all I have to do is
6:59 wait I take the time to open my
7:01 accumulated loot bags and get an
7:04 enchanted golden apple which is three
7:06 times rarer than the regular kind and
7:09 can't be used to cure villagers very funny
7:10 funny
7:13 Minecraft I pull another dirt creeper
7:16 out I'm honestly just going to start
7:17 stacking them on the new platform now
7:19 and make this giant pile of dirt balls
7:21 because I don't really need the stuff
7:22 and I don't even think it's worth
7:24 commenting on them at this point because
7:26 they are that
7:29 common after a fair amount but not a
7:31 terrible amount of time passes I finally
7:33 get my first natural gold apple drop I
7:35 take it back to the quickly growing
7:37 storage area and swing by looking to
7:39 open all of the loot bags that I stacked
7:42 up at this point but it looks like I'll
7:44 only get the one for today that's fine
7:46 zombie villagers are annoying to find at
7:48 the best of times and half of their
7:50 variants don't show up on the mini map
7:52 so this will just live in my inventory
7:55 until I'm ready for it I do take the
7:56 time to mine out some of my ever growing
7:58 dirt stash and build cages for any
8:01 zombies in whiches that I find though no
8:02 sense in being unprepared while I have the
8:04 the
8:07 resources while hunting for my elusive
8:09 zombie villager I end up running low on
8:12 HP I do my usual dip in the void trick
8:14 and only then notice that somewhere
8:15 along the line I have picked up a second
8:18 Golden Apple this is not hugely
8:19 surprising because they aren't really
8:21 all that rare and I've been doing this
8:23 for a while now but it is very much a
8:25 nice thing to have and I wish I could
8:27 have caught it on a
8:29 clip oh look a whip
8:33 is spotted it specifically heard it is
8:35 also unfortunately the wrong kind of
8:38 witch as a general rule if you don't see
8:40 the witch icon on the mini map then
8:43 witches won't have weakness potions The
8:45 Alchemist effect can sometimes be used
8:47 as a substitute but usually that effect
8:50 is paired with things that you don't
8:53 want your villagers to be near so I will
8:56 just instead farm for a
8:58 witch I can hear another witch in the
9:00 following shoot but have been waiting
9:02 for so long that the spawner is plugged
9:04 with spiders normally I could refresh
9:06 the mobs by jumping in the void but I
9:08 can't do that here without losing one of
9:10 the zombie villagers I've captured the
9:12 fact that I can see its icon in the mini
9:14 map also means that it is the correct
9:16 kind of witch because as mentioned
9:18 modded ones usually can't throw weakness
9:20 potions and all of those won't show up
9:23 without an icon once I isolate the witch
9:26 that RNG strikes again it has the choke
9:28 effect which basically means I will take
9:30 constant chip damage unless I hit it
9:33 regularly and it's also poisonous so I
9:35 will take constant ship damage if I do
9:38 hit it regularly I decide that I want to
9:39 have it kill me before I try and cure
9:41 the zombie that way it won't be infernal
9:44 and will make my life easier with a
9:47 little more wiggling I get a lucky early
9:49 weakness effect slam the Apple down the
9:52 Villager and banish the witch this took
9:56 I kid you not over 3 hours to
10:00 complete here's hoping for a sapling e
10:05 villager and it's bees oh boy do I love
10:09 bees gosh Jolly G darn it I love me some bees
10:11 bees
10:15 jerk I go back to it and almost
10:17 immediately get another zombie villager
10:19 in the farm nice because of the other
10:21 villager in the capture pen when I free
10:23 it it goes right over to where it's
10:27 supposed to go no baiting needed at all
10:29 convenient the game seems to be done
10:30 with messing around with me because
10:33 literally not 30 seconds after I killed
10:34 the clip I was taking when moving the
10:37 Villager a witch drops down the shoot a
10:39 real one not a modded one with an icon
10:42 and everything score I try to use its
10:45 withering effect Against Me by killing
10:47 myself to reset its infernal status I
10:49 fail however and am unable to punch it
10:51 again to get the effect because I am too
10:53 weak so I have to starve myself really
10:57 quickly instead either way the job gets
11:00 done the switch is far less Cooperative
11:02 than the others and it takes multiple
11:04 deaths before I can get a cure off
11:06 either that or it was running low on
11:08 weakness potions you could never
11:12 tell and it's a forestry villager
11:16 yay with the wrong trade
11:19 Boo as counterintuitive as this sounds
11:21 though this might actually be a good
11:24 thing I thought about it for a bit and
11:26 this is kind of the worst of the best
11:28 possible scenarios there are for villagers
11:29 villagers
11:31 because these guys do not have that many
11:33 trades in their pool and almost all of
11:35 them are saplings which will give me at
11:39 least a little wood however if we do
11:40 manage to roll a sapling trade after
11:43 trading for this one which is a grafter
11:45 we can guarantee sapling drops by using
11:48 the grafter that we had to buy anyway on
11:50 the leaves from the tree that we
11:52 purchased the problem of course is that
11:54 I don't have enough emeralds to buy
11:55 anything yet and when searching through
11:57 my stuff for emeralds the farm decides
12:00 to spontaneously explode for no apparent
12:02 reason whatsoever dumping water all over
12:05 everything a typical Greg Tech moment
12:08 right there I patch the hole in my farm
12:10 secure the Villager as best as I am able
12:13 to read in dirt with a torch for company
12:16 and resume the grind as an aside I'm
12:18 pretty sure getting wood is going to be
12:20 the single most difficult thing to do in
12:23 this pack for like five episodes at
12:26 least and the worst of it is over th
12:29 craft mini bosses are not super rare and
12:32 The Uncommon loot bags have about a 25%
12:34 chance of dropping an emerald so this is
12:36 really only a matter of
12:39 time in really no time at all I have a
12:41 handful of loot bags and one of them is
12:44 nice enough to drop an emerald with the
12:45 one I got in the first episode this is
12:50 crafter you
12:54 jerk all right then hold please after
12:56 shockingly little time I amass a
12:59 collection of 14 common loot bags and 10
13:02 regular loot bags I figure this is
13:04 probably good enough for a couple of
13:06 emeralds by my math I should get about
13:09 three and a half so I decid to crack
13:11 them open out of all of them I get six
13:13 emeralds and a bunch of other random
13:17 junk uh this is pretty okay in my book I
13:19 also get random Splash weakness potions
13:22 which is super neat so no more witch
13:24 baiting for me if I ever have to heal a
13:26 zombie villager again sadly there are no
13:29 golden apples but overall I'm pretty
13:31 okay with this result time to go visit
13:34 our recalcitrant friend and feed him
13:36 green rocks until he
13:39 pops 32 urine colored wooden planks
13:42 later and I end up getting a plantain
13:45 sapling as my third role I have
13:47 literally never seen this
13:49 thing yeah I'm fairly certain that
13:52 plantain also isn't a tree unless you're
13:54 talking about bananas which are a
13:56 separate kind of tree so I'm not really
13:57 certain what this thing is supposed to
14:00 grow into so I pop over to a test world
14:02 and Sprout it
14:07 up so initial thoughts lots of leaves
14:09 which means good things for its sapling
14:12 yield and it generates a workable amount
14:15 of logs although not a fantastic one the
14:17 one weird part is that I can't seem to
14:20 figure out how to turn it into planks uh
14:23 when the item drops it gives me banana
14:25 wood and there isn't any Associated
14:29 banana plank it has the log wood tag in
14:32 Forge though so at least I have logs but
14:37 not planks yay I'm getting really tired
14:40 of the game trolling me at this point
14:44 except hold on eat it you lousy game I
14:48 can just craft a better sapling by
14:51 trading for growing and harvesting a
14:54 plantain sapling I'm going to get logs
14:57 and more saplings this lets me make a
14:59 crafting bench which lets me make a
15:01 pickaxe which lets me make a furnace
15:04 which lets me make stone which lets me
15:06 make mortar and pistols which gives me
15:09 bone meal and I can combine all of those
15:10 things from sticks with witches and
15:13 plantain saplings to make a Greg Tech
15:16 Plus+ rainforest oak sapling whose wood
15:19 does give me planks it's simple uh
15:21 trivial really I have no idea why I was
15:25 concerned at all anyway in the time that
15:27 it took me to draw that out I farmed out
15:30 some more loot bags give me those
15:32 goodies and wow those were way more
15:33 generous than the other ones no
15:36 complaints here so come here villager
15:39 and give me your lame scammy bogus
15:43 sapling I have a game to beat and Presto
15:46 sapling grown while I execute my
15:48 brilliant plan some fun trivia for you
15:51 silverfish Stone and cobblestone look
15:53 identical and out of respect to that the
15:55 what am I looking at plugin calls them
15:57 the same material to presumably prevent exploits
15:59 exploits
16:01 uh what it doesn't do however is it
16:03 doesn't conceal the hardness and blast
16:04 resistance numbers and those are
16:06 different for silverfish Cobblestone and
16:09 regular Cobblestone more fun trivia
16:11 despite murdering plenty of witches I
16:14 also only have five sticks the solution
16:17 to this of course is more saplings I
16:19 have enough sticks to make a hammer a
16:23 saw and a file out of solid gold ingots
16:26 very blingy which give me the power to
16:29 strip leaves off of a sapling so times
16:32 Greg Tech everyone regardless I plant my
16:35 new totally not genetically modified
16:38 sapling bone Millet and Presto wood has
16:41 been solved I crank out a few of the
16:43 introductory quests with my new found
16:46 wealth and then get to work one
16:49 moment through the power of wood I
16:52 present to you a cleaner working area
16:54 brought to you by
16:59 shovels wow gravel which I didn't need
17:01 wood for at all but I need Flint so
17:03 whatever bite me I guess I just started
17:07 caring about gravel now reusable
17:10 storage more reusable storage because I
17:14 have too much junk oh please help me I
17:15 have too much junk and I haven't even
17:20 entered the Stone Age yet Farms which
17:22 again I could have done before but
17:25 whatever no more gravestone collections
17:27 because I have real storage now and
17:30 improved mod pen because I still have a
17:32 use for this thing that you'll see in a
17:34 little bit and it also didn't need wood
17:38 but bite me cropsticks for a
17:42 weed weeds as in unwanted plants that
17:45 break cropsticks not haha funny number
17:47 Canadian flag plant this one is a bit of
17:50 a weird one so I will explain in a
17:54 moment and finally a bed so that now at Day
17:55 Day
17:59 57.6 by my math we can fin finally
18:03 finally go to sleep this has got to be a
18:06 world record for slowest bed percent in
18:11 this run anyway back to the weeds this
18:13 mod pack has Industrial Craft 2 crop
18:15 breeding in it industrial craft crop
18:17 breeding is basically the birthplace of
18:20 breedable anything in Minecraft in this
18:22 mod pack and something like 80% of the
18:25 crops are entirely useless at any stage
18:28 in the game I see this as proof that
18:30 breeding was a great mechanic
18:32 implemented with absolutely zero thought
18:34 given towards practical
18:37 implementation but one that is useful to
18:39 me right now is also conveniently the
18:43 easiest to get weeds these are normally
18:45 a punishment that you get if you don't
18:47 pay your attention tax on time and they
18:49 will very quickly eat your expensive
18:51 pedigree crops by overgrowing everything
18:54 with more weeds basically it's just
18:58 Kudzu but angry they are also useless
19:00 except for a weird aesthetic feature
19:02 that most people will never encounter
19:03 and fewer still will have a practical
19:07 use for weeds will spread air quotes
19:09 there to dirt blocks nearby converting
19:13 them into grass blocks and finally after
19:16 almost a Day of Play Time real life I
19:20 can finally touch grass we are minted up
19:24 to our eyeballs right now we got
19:27 Grass Grass blocks of course mean
19:29 passive mobs they also mean seeds
19:31 because in order to get seeds in this
19:33 pack you have to hoe grass blocks rather
19:36 than Breaking Tall Grass why I have no
19:38 idea pointless mechanic passed the first
19:40 5 minutes of the game and probably an
19:42 accidental addition from a mod that was
19:44 added for other reasons but it's in
19:48 there so oh well but why stop there more
19:51 wood more Quest completions more coins
19:54 and more loot bags side note my opinion
19:56 is that Quest rewards are a fair game
19:58 for the starting with nothing rule set I
20:00 can access the quests with a keybind so
20:02 you are supposed to have access to them
20:04 at all times even if you don't have the
20:07 quest book and they clearly are not part
20:09 of a naturally generated World they also
20:12 mostly just give you stuff that can kind
20:13 of help kick you in the seat of the
20:15 pants a little bit rather than anything
20:17 new and useful exceptions to that rule
20:21 coming up so I consider it basically
20:24 fine strategically I am almost always
20:26 going to pick the loot bag reward unless
20:27 there is something that I don't think I
20:30 can get normally being offered because
20:33 loot bags can sometimes be useful you
20:36 can view the possible loot bag drop sets
20:38 by going into creative mode and shift
20:40 right clicking on the bag each bag has a
20:43 chance of dropping a set of items from
20:46 either the default item pool or the item
20:48 pool that the bag is a member of which
20:50 in this case would just be basic Stone
20:54 Age both are shown on screen upgrading
20:56 the bag to its Enchanted State removes
20:59 the default item pool as an option which
21:01 isolates possible drops to only the
21:04 named item pool for the most part this
21:05 is what you're supposed to do and is
21:07 what I would do if it weren't for one
21:11 amazing fact there is exactly nothing
21:13 that I want from the basic Stone Age
21:17 item pool not a thing a full 80% of it
21:21 is either dye or random food and I have
21:24 both nothing to die and have no reason
21:26 to worry about food because I've been
21:27 getting on just fine without it for a
21:30 while now all three plantable items on
21:33 offer I either have already or can get
21:35 from crop breeding looking at you
21:39 sugarcane I have zero use for clay aside
21:41 from taunting the Apothecary villager
21:44 and the rest is stuff I can make armor I
21:46 don't need or potions with effects I
21:49 don't care about I actually want to pull
21:52 items from the default drop pull the
21:53 default pool on the other hand is full
21:56 of building blocks saplings and items
21:58 that I won't be able to get for a while
22:01 if ever it's good stuff also stuff that
22:03 isn't really necessary for me right now
22:05 I will be holding on to these on the off
22:06 chance that I can upgrade them to
22:09 something better in the future anyway
22:11 enough about loot bags my quest has
22:13 given me enough coins to purchase Oak
22:16 saplings as a reward from the coins tab
22:19 I do that I then turn it into an apple
22:20 sapling take a walnut sapling as a
22:22 reward from that Quest and carry on with
22:25 my life I will need the coins and the
22:27 quest that unlocks later for other
22:29 reasons that I will get into I also do
22:31 some more Quest management and complete
22:33 some of the easy quests with random
22:34 items I have lying
22:36 around while I'm reading through the
22:38 quest book one of its informational
22:40 quests reminds me that there is a couple
22:41 of caveats that I should mention about
22:45 this challenge the short version of them
22:47 is that first well I did come up with
22:48 this Sky Block style starting from
22:51 nothing challenge idea independently I
22:55 did not come up with it first the second
22:58 in that so far as I can tell everyone
22:59 who has tried this challenge myself
23:02 included agrees that it is impossible to
23:04 beat the game with this kind of rule set because
23:05 because
23:08 reasons I will leave the more nuanced
23:10 discussion of this towards the end of
23:12 the video so you can easily skip over it
23:14 if you aren't
23:17 interested but yeah like most other
23:19 challenge runs the mod pack is not
23:22 designed for these sorts of restrictions
23:24 sorry after a little bit of messing
23:26 around my weed is very quickly spread
23:29 and produces some delicious tasty grass
23:31 soon the whole island will be a fetching
23:34 shade of green and be infested with
23:36 passive mobs which will be the bane of
23:39 my existence for many a future run all
23:43 according to plan to get seeds however I
23:45 will require a Matic which requires
23:47 Tinker stuff to make because I don't
23:50 want to use up all of my iron hose if I
23:53 can avoid it after flailing around on a
23:55 crafting bench I slap together some
23:57 basic Tinkers and make myself a bone
24:00 mtic I now have in addition to access to
24:03 seeds repairable tools that even deal a
24:05 fairly decent amount of damage this
24:07 thing hits as strong as an unenchanted
24:10 iron sword which is pretty dang good at
24:12 this point for being infinitely
24:14 repairable this means I can start saving
24:16 infernal drops for processing into raw
24:18 materials down the
24:21 line now that I have wood I'm kind of
24:23 now in a bit of a holding pattern I have
24:25 a couple different Technologies at my
24:28 disposal that I can pursue and and each
24:31 has their own upside and downside I
24:33 could either explore down the Industrial
24:35 Craft crop breeding line and secure
24:37 myself some early wins by setting up a
24:41 basic crossbreeding kit this would be
24:43 fairly expensive initially especially
24:45 since I am very short on any sort of
24:48 material to craft tools out of but it
24:50 would give me a much more stable supply
24:52 of building blocks in the form of wood
24:55 from small pet saplings called
24:58 Bonsai alternatively I could instead
25:00 devote my resources to making a basic
25:02 villager breeder and explore their trade
25:04 options for further expansion both of
25:06 these need to happen at some point but I
25:09 decide to start on the farms
25:11 initially it will be far easier to get
25:14 villager breeding once I have an excess
25:15 of disposable building blocks and
25:17 villagers don't really help with farming
25:21 at all all 23 of my fresh new crop
25:23 sticks are planted with the oak saplings
25:24 I accumulated through farming my coin
25:28 purchase out it isn't a lot but it is
25:30 enough for steady wood supplies for now
25:32 because once these things grow up you'll
25:34 get around two stacks of wood from
25:37 harvesting them I also add a second
25:39 layer to my initial Farm because there
25:42 is basically no such thing as too much
25:43 farming at the
25:45 moment I am very quickly approaching the
25:47 point where lots of dirt gravel and
25:50 stone are going to be needed as well to
25:52 collect this I want to take advantage of
25:54 the power of charged creepers and
25:56 disposable building blocks so I create a
25:59 little creeper charge charger by pathing
26:01 the creepers up and running them over
26:03 the trap door the creepers should fall
26:05 in the water for storage and detonation
26:07 damping so they don't you know blow up
26:10 the entire Farm once charged I can then

26:43 craft glue bag a gravel creeper is my
26:45 next Target and it goes in without a
26:49 hitch nice now for the lightning creeper
26:51 it is a little less cooperative and
26:53 seems to think it can jump but
26:56 eventually falls in the hole as well
26:58 after my paranoia check p passes I
27:00 detonate it carefully and succeed in
27:03 charging up my gravel creeper I then
27:05 apply the patented shake and shimmy that
27:08 brings all of the boys theard and get a
27:09 little close for comfort until it Blows
27:11 Its Top covering my Island in a fine
27:16 patina of ground Stone success sort of
27:18 cleaning up the mess Nets me a stack and
27:19 a half of gravel at the cost of
27:21 basically nothing but it still feels
27:23 weird that a crucial part of the game
27:25 progression is now tied up exclusively
27:28 in the process of covering my entire
27:29 Island in
27:32 garbage anyway I apply the same basic
27:34 principle to a dirt creeper I then do it
27:36 again with a lightning creeper you put
27:38 the lime in the coconut you shake it up
27:40 and then blow it apart to further your
27:43 technological progress firefighting not
27:47 included and just like that dirt plenty
27:50 of it so much dirt more than I will need
27:52 for a while in fact because my next
27:54 project will be the Villager breeder
27:57 which is purely dependent on wood it
27:59 will also require far more time than I
28:01 have left in this video so I will save

28:41 it a little so to reiterate I am not the
28:43 first person who has tried to do this
28:45 Challenge and technically speaking this
28:48 challenge is impossible there have been
28:50 multiple documented attempts made by
28:52 various groups and individuals to
28:55 complete Sky Block kind of challenges
28:57 like this one with very various
28:59 different rules and config changes to
29:03 make them work there is no established
29:05 precedent for what rules are valid or
29:07 invalid here because basically no one is
29:10 crazy enough to try it if you're
29:11 interested in reading the history behind
29:13 all of that I will include some links
29:15 below all three of the previous runs
29:17 that I'm going to link had a bit of a
29:20 different spin on the idea of nothing
29:23 rather than deciding to convert all
29:25 worlds into void worlds they either
29:27 started out in a voided dimension
29:30 or just voided out the Overworld and
29:32 then restricted themselves to that empty
29:34 Dimension some of them played on
29:37 Peaceful difficulty for extra difficulty
29:39 and a couple of them spawned in a few
29:42 items for various reasons but those were
29:45 very much not Universal decisions the
29:47 routing of one of the challenge runs
29:49 seems to indicate that you don't
29:53 actually need to spawn anything in with
29:56 my current rule set but that's because
29:58 my rule set is slightly more permissive
30:01 than any of the other groups because I
30:03 have access to all Dimensions there is
30:06 just initially nothing in them either
30:08 way my rules seem like a pretty fair
30:10 interpretation of the basic idea to me
30:13 and I'm not softb myself here routing
30:16 for all of these attempts and I am very
30:18 much including this run and earlier runs
30:21 that I attempted in this category is
30:24 rough across the board this is nothing
30:27 like a mainstream speedrun or challenge
30:29 run where everything is already theed
30:33 out ahead of time there is a ton of room
30:35 for new innovation and it is cool that
30:36 I'm going to be able to contribute to
30:39 that the second copat that I want to
30:41 talk about is the one that's a little
30:43 bit sad so with all of the rules that
30:45 the previous runs were operating under
30:48 it was impossible to fully beat the mod
30:51 pack period the end game which is
30:53 creating something called a Stargate is
30:55 simply unachievable there were too many
30:57 things that you needed from too many
30:59 obscure locations and past a certain
31:01 point there was no alternative way to get
31:02 get
31:05 them currently there are three confirmed
31:09 items that blocked progression the first
31:12 is Bernarda seawood for creating radx
31:15 there is a sliver of a chance that I
31:17 might have a tentative solution to this
31:21 one but I don't hold out hope so don't
31:25 rely on it the second item is a chaos
31:27 Shard From draconic Evolution
31:30 I have made a configuration change to my
31:33 world to reenable an item that should
31:35 normally be functioning but was removed
31:37 presumably to prevent grief on
31:40 multiplayer servers and that combined
31:43 with my Dimension access allowed rule
31:45 means that this item should be
31:49 obtainable the quote unquote normal way
31:51 the third is a source of torium which
31:55 normally comes from tagam ores I have no
31:57 solution to this and I don't think there
31:59 is one with the version that I'm playing
32:02 on right now that version is admittedly
32:04 a couple versions behind the most recent
32:07 stable release I'm on 2.3 and I think
32:10 we're on 2.5 or 2.6 at this point so I
32:12 don't anticipate that it will make much
32:14 of a difference but if I truly find
32:17 myself soft locked later on by something
32:18 that is available in a future update I
32:21 will update that said the fact that this
32:23 run is going to soft lock itself is
32:26 really not a surprise I knew going in
32:28 that it would most like the impossible
32:31 to fully 100% beat the mod pack and was
32:34 entirely fine with that the goal here is
32:35 instead to push the limits of what I
32:37 know about this mod pack in a way that
32:39 is hopefully entertaining enough for
32:42 people to enjoy and as long as I'm
32:44 learning new things and breaking the
32:46 game in new and ridiculous ways I'm
32:49 happy with that and with that I will end
